This is our weekly Saturday tradition for many years - Joe and Lee are amazing people who run a fantastic donut shop. Tasty, fresh donuts and outstanding customer service. Look no further - they are the best in the area. Sourdough donuts, eclairs, pigs in a blanket are all favorites for us. Try the muscle donut or an apple fritter and look for a surprise donut hole in your bag. We love Sweet Apple!

I picked up 2 dozen assorted premium donuts for an office birthday.. whoa! They're amazing. Wonderful variety and we loved the unique flavors. Will definitely be back!

The owner is very nice. We got four donuts, and the owner gave us a free coffee for our first-time visit since we drove 35 minutes to get there. The strawberry donut was our favorite. It was very light, and the mix of fresh strawberries with powdered sugar set it off. The sour cream donut and peanut butter with bananas were good as well. We're coming back for the sourdough donut.

I have a Caramel Macchiato that was very tasty and an eclair that was delicious! The bacon egg and cheese croissant was also very tasty. I took home a lemon donut and a cinnamon twist for family and they enjoyed their donuts too. The store was clean and very cute. The staff/owners were also very kind. It was a great experience.

The owner is also the chef was very kind. I didn’t know he put four more mini donut balls in my order. The bacon 🥓 donut was surprisingly tasty. The store is not fancy but good service and donuts. Highly recommend.

The donut holes were excellent. I didn’t like the chocolate covered doughnut, however, my husband said that it was tasty. Too sweet though. The filling in the lemon donut wasn’t good and tasted very artificial, however the dough itself was superb, delicious and soft! Staff is lovely. Will go back for more.

The gentleman who fulfilled my order was so very kind. He spared no expense in making sure I had exactly the doughnuts I needed for my friends. He was even so kind as to include doughnut holes. This spot is always and forever on my list for best hometown eats. Very good and my friends think so too!

A MUST STOP-IN! Dae Jo and his lovely wife, have served Alpharetta for several years and truly are a great contribution for the early morning community. Their day starts early, around 2 AM, in the shop, preparing amazing treats for all. I have made several visits to order the strawberry roll, for a very special person. She loves those things and she loves the people that make them! Recently we had a situation where our family fell victim to Parkinson's. A tough situation that required a stay in an assisted living facility for two months, while they prepared her for brain surgery, all of our fingers are crossed. Not only could she not enjoy her beautiful home, only 5 miles away, but she also had no means to get her hands on her very favorite dessert, the coveted Strawberry Roll! Being in Florida, I could not just stop in and pick them up to deliver, and when they realized who the customer ordering a DOZEN DELICIOUS STRAWBERRY ROllS was, and our situation being that she really wanted some of those Strawberry Rolls, they closed shop at the usual 3:00 hour and hand-delivered the Strawberry Rolls to the assisted living facility that she is being cared for at. Who can top that one?? Please stop by the Sweet Apple and feast your eyes on all the amazing things they made a few hours before your alarm went off. Tim Kelleher Happy, happy customer

These are great, solid donuts! They also gave a few complimentary donut holes which was a real treat.

This place is kind of tucked in a corner. We went there on a Sunday morning. It wasn't crowded when we first got there, but within 30 mins a lot of traffic started coming in at once. Looks like Sunday may be one of the busier mornings... Anyway, I found the shop kind of mellow. There's lots of color everywhere and there's a large wall with pictures of customers. The owner was there and served us with a good morning when we walked in. We got a small assortment of red velvet, blueberry chocolate, sourdough and sour cream donuts. The owner even threw in some free donut holes. While all were freshly made, i think the sourdough donut was the best. The sour flavor definitely came through and it was super soft. The others were a bit dense for my liking but still flavorful. The icing was perfect on each...not overly sweet. Kinda wish there was more selection, but if you are in the area and have a craving, give it a try. It's a change-up from the madness at the other chain places in the mornings.

After traveling all over the nation, I can confidently say these are easily in my top 5 for donuts. Small family owned donut shop, support your locals and make sure you stop here. They usually sell out by noon, make sure you're early!!

The donuts are amazing!! I had the square sourdough donut which had a crispy bottom and perfect sweet ( but not too sweet) glaze. Delicious! Literally, the best donut I've ever had! My husband got an apple fritter and it was also out of this world and HUGE. If you're a donut fan, you should definitely try these,no matter how far away you are. They are so worth it ❤️

Absolutely delicious donut shop. Amazing selection of gourmet donuts but they also have traditional glazed and simple crusted donuts for children. We enjoyed Reese's peanut butter donut, a chocolate frosted donut and a latte. The staff was so kind and sweet to my child. Prices very reasonable. Indoor and outdoor seating. Cant wait to return to try more donuts!!

Some of the best donuts I've ever had! And the nicest people there, too!

We went at 9:30 on a Sunday morning. This was the perfect time. They weren’t out of anything and there was no line. Staff were wearing masks, but they didn’t require customers to wear masks. We got 6 donuts. Here’s what we got, in order of my preference: - Blueberry (cake): Very good - Cinnamon Sugar Twist (yeast): Good, but I wish we’d gotten the cake donut version - Chocolate-Covered Sour Cream (cake): Good, but hard - Muscle (cake): We tried it because it’s made out of tofu and we were curious. Had we known it was also blueberry, we wouldn’t have gotten the other blueberry cake donut. We couldn’t tell that it was made out of tofu. But it was definitely harder than the other blueberry. - Eclair (yeast): Nothing special about it - Fresh Strawberry and Cream (yeast): Apparently this is their most popular; the cream tasted like Starburst, not a fan We also got a large drip coffee and two small iced coffees (one with brown sugar cinnamon flavoring and the other with pumpkin pie flavoring). We wouldn’t get those flavors again. We would probably just go with normal cream and sugar. It came out to $23 for the 6 donuts and 3 coffees. She threw in some donut holes for us, which was nice! The donut holes were good! Overall, not the best donuts we’ve had in the state.

First time coming here. We loved the chocolate frosted- peanut butter and banana heart filled doughnut. We also liked the powdered sugar doughnut filled with fresh strawberries. The apple fritter was kind of crunchy so we didn’t like that one as much as we hoped (maybe a one time thing). Our son loved the chocolate sprinkled regular doughnut. We will absolutely be back because of the tasty doughnuts, friendly service, and extra doughnut holes!

I‘d never expected such a good donut store in that strip mall. I got a recommendation so I knew where to go. I bought a dozen different donuts. They looked all great and tasted even better. Particularly the donuts with the fresh strawberries were awesome. It is a bit expensive but totally justified. Certainly not the last time I go there.

I ordered an apple fritter and a chocolate glazed donut, and the owner gave me a free glazed donut. They were literally the best donuts I've ever had. The coffee was also very good. Do yourself a favor and stop here. You can't go wrong with anything they have. Plus the owner is extremely sweet and friendly!

Nice quiet yummy donut shop! It was hard to pick my donut but the lemon filled and the chocolate covered were calling me! And they were awesome!!! The lemon filled was soft and filled with a not-too-sweet lemon that was rich and very tasty. The chocolate had just the right crispness to the donut and the two chocolates combined wonderfully! I don’t travel this way enough...guess I will go this way a little more often!!

Wow, wow, wow!! These are the most incredible tasting donuts I’ve had in decades! The variety of things to choose from is mind-blowing, and makes my stomach growl just thinking about them. I had the strawberry swirl, sour cream chocolate, and a couple of the cake ones! Every single one was fantastic. I suggest getting there early because they do run out early sometimes, just cause it’s so good!

Since I typically avoid refined sugar, let me say that if I’m indulging it will be worth the indulgence. Sweet Apple is one of the best donut stops in Atlanta, consistently well made and always fresh. The only problem is that they sell out and often have to close early. The owner and her staff are all awesome people too!

Wonderful fresh hand-made doughnuts. The apple fritters are great, with enough apple topping to satisfy. The fresh strawberry or fresh banana are my favorites though, sliced fruit and thick whipped cream inside a bar doughnut coated in powdered sugar. They're the best doughnuts. Period
