I look forward to this place every summer! The pulled pork platter is delicious, accompanied with fresh cut fries and choice of baked beans or coleslaw. It's enough to feed two people. Very clean environment with an assortment of side sauces such as creamy horseradish, sriracha, ketchup, and many others in the back, so don't forget to ask! Ribs are huge, and you get a half rack. Assortment of different drinks and birch on tap! Staff is friendly, and service is quick. Outside seating is available and produce shop next door. It's a must try! I didn't appreciate it I had to go to the window and ask for ketchup for my fries I also didn't appreciate there was no spoons for my big beans only Forks wasn't much of a barbecue tastes like I get from buttons but don't get me wrong the barbecue sandwich and the fries were good

Delicious bbq! I love the brisket, Mac and cheese, baked beans, fresh cut fries with cheese and roasted sweet corn when in season! I love the outside seating with gorgeous country views and a beautiful field of flowers when in bloom! We love everything about this place!

Seriously, once you try their BBQ you will keep coming back… I guess the reason Rough Cut has so many loyal customers! Food made fresh daily so get there early before it runs out. The Ribs are only the best cuts with plenty of meat on the bone the baked beans are life changing. A wonderful, quality local business that is seasonal…. So get there soon before it closes October 22, you will not regret the trip!

Absolutely insane prices for mediocre food, with a long drive. If your lost and are starving. Just drive or walk alittlw further.

Probably the best BBQ I've ever had. Delicious, cheap, and relaxing atmosphere. Great BBQ, ribs, fries, etc. Nice farmers market with fresh fruit/veggies so you can feel better about eating more BBQ. Super-friendly staff - where you do find these people?!

This is our weekly stop for lunch on a Sunday! We enjoy all of the food it is our favorite bbq place. I enjoy the beef brisket sandwich with creamy horseradish sauce. Their fries are perfectly cooked! I also enjoy the coleslaw. The baked beans can be a bit spicy for my taste. My family enjoys the ribs, pulled chicken/pork combo as well. The Mac and cheese is super creamy. Also tapped birch beer is great to wash down your food. There is even a Heisler’s CMP sundae for dessert. Outside dining under cover or umbrella tables or enjoy take out! They do have port a potties which is a downfall but at least there is a bathroom.

Fair prices. Open weekends. Parking available. Produce farmers market there too.

This is a fun place to go to if you want to take a little drive. The food is so delicious and it’s nice to visit the market there, as well.

We had a retirement party of 60 or more people at work. Knowing that Rough Cut has amazing food, we were taking a chance they would deliver and serve our work party. They did, and it exceeded our expectations. Everyone was surprised with the extremely large portions and the quality and flavor of the food. Knowing we have many meat smoking/ bbq critics in house. I highly recommend going to their stand for a bite to eat. Or if needed a catering service.

One of the best barbecue joints in Tamqua. I would come down from Hazleton just to try some of their delicious pork sandwiches. My all time favorite order is, French fries with the secret spicy sauce, a pulled pork brisket, and to top it all of some cheesy Mac and cheese. I would definitely recommend for any travelers or just if your getting farm fresh produce from the market nearby!!!
