The food is excellent. The location is great for me. No more driving to SW Houston. The service is fabulous! Good Job all the way around!! The second time around I asked for only chicken and beef again but they gave me beef skin that was under cooked and tripe. The chicken and beef is definitely not farm raised meat. The beef was so tough I had to spit it out. When I called to point it out they argued with me before finally saying SORRY. That was it! The main purpose of ordering this food was to get farm raise meat with no hormones. Every thing was good but the meat. The lady at the front is one point. But the women in the back need to get the order right, cook the meat longer and use farm raised meat and be honest if it’s not!

The kitchen manager was so humble she treat us as a family and take care personally food was good ambiance was good

If you’ve gone to a lot of restaurants asking for extra spicy food yet still end up being underwhelmed, then you will want to come here. Although they have options for those that avoid spicy food, I came here looking for spicy stews and found them. The food is very savory and makes you go back for more. The service was also amazing, our waiter was very helpful with recommendations and attentive as well. And the atmosphere is welcoming as well as spacious enough to bring the family without feeling cramped. We dined in, ordering egusi stew and ogbono stew with assorted meats, and pounded yam and amala on the side; we also ordered jollof rice with chicken and fried plantain to go.

They always found a way to switch whatever I ordered, (soup or swallow), without having the courtesy to ask if that was okay first. This happened three times, so it’s definitely not a coincidence. I have no plans to order from here ever again. Extremely unprofessional.

Love this food. Very filling. I'm a big fan of bitter leaf soup but I'm told not many actually like it. Agusi soup is very delicious and much more widely enjoyed also

Very nice and clean restaurant safe place to eat everyone is very nice and welcoming, you feel at home when ever you walk in, we loved everything they cook for us on my daughter graduation 🎓 party. The service wes really good. I will recommend this place anytime any day..

Pay attention to customer service.

I don’t know where to begin. I was happy to find out there was a Nigerian restaurant around the corner from me but unfortunately I will not be going back. I ordered the rice and stew with beef to go. When I got home, I opened the container to find only 4 pieces of small beef with a mountain of parboiled rice on the side. I was very disappointed because I don’t appreciate paying almost $20 dollars for rice. Now for the taste, it was horrible! The beef taste like it was washed or soaked in water for long periods of time because it was flavorless. The stew taste premade out of the jar and not to mention it tasted more like a tomato soup. As far as the service, the little lady was nice but needless to say I won’t be returning. I will just patronize the Nigerian restaurants on the Southwest side although they are distance from me. Edit: Also I thrown the food away because it was just disgusting. I had 4 bites and trash the rest. Forgot to mention that part.

So when we got there , they didn’t seem very busy and it was our first time trying African food. We were a little hesitant to go in , but after good in we did see a lot of people come in for pick up orders and it did pick up. Food was delicious, fairly priced

Both the service and the food is beautiful, a place to visit always. I saw humility and decency in the way they operate. May the Lord bless the works of your hands.

The food is always amazing but the wait is LONG and the restaurant is noisy even with just a few guests. I’ve been coming here close to a year and the food is consistently good. I wish they had some sort of points or reward system. That’s just my two cents.

I recently had the chance to try Nigerian pepper soup and fufu for the first time, and it was just as fantastic as many of my friends had recommended. I chose the medium-hot assorted meat pepper soup, which had just the right amount of heat for me. The soup was very savory and aromatic, thanks to the herbs and spices added to it, making it quite complex. The assorted meats, which included various offal, were tender and delicious. The fufu was a great accompaniment to the soup - it absorbed the soup while also reducing the pepper heat in my mouth. I would definitely go back to try other dishes.

The food was absolutely delicious! The oxtail was tender and the jollof flavorful. The portion was perfect for one person and i had a bit extra. The food was comforting and i will definitely come back when im back in Houston.

The food was great ! Server was very nice. It may take time before receiving your food but it’s because it’s fresh and made as if it was made home. Be patient and you won’t be disappointed.

I ordered the egusi and fufu today with plaintains with it like I usually do . The egusi wasnt filled up at all. Plaintains tasted like It’s been cooked on dirty dishes that was pulled out of a dog house. which I strongly believe it was bc it was burnt stuff all over it. I hate to make bad reviews but as someone who work hard for their money and pay for food I expect the best on what I spend my money on. This really make me so sad

Be ready to wait! They make the food as it’s ordered, so it will be fresh. I waited for about 35 minutes for my food however it was well worth it. The kind lady took good care of us and I loved the food. I say this as a person who doesn’t like African food. I’m elated to have found an African restaurant that I can enjoy. I had to take a picture with the kind lady who serviced me (I think she’s the owner) because of how overjoyed I was to have found an African diner I can enjoy. I will definitely be back.

Staled finish for a huge amount, don't taste good. That was my first experience, which was regrettable and ugly. I think the old lady who served would have anarched me about the price of this fish that I ended up throwing it away: 34 bucks🫡.

Okra stew is delicious with the fish and pounded yam. My favorite here. They are very kind and consistent with the preperation of the orders.

Carefully prepared with Passion. But Note: Never on Sunday! Consider them for your next family event. They do prepare large dishes for carry out to party /family gatherings !

One of the best things that happened to me.

My friends and I came here for dinner, and after dining here, I can honestly say it was a great decision. From the time we sat down, to the time we left, everything was top notch. We were greeted by a young man, Paul, who answered all of our questions and was very attentive. Being Nigerian, I typically don't go to African restaurants since it sometimes doesn't taste as good as I would like, and I have an abundance of it at home. However, everything we ordered was very tasty and well seasoned. Great food, great service, reasonable prices- everything you want when you go to a restaurant. I'll definitely come back again, and let my family know about this place.

Paul was our server and gave GREAT customer service. The food was DELICIOUS. Bought extra meat pies to take home. Beware the fish has bones so be careful. Everything was seasoned well and tasty. Highly recommend.

I've been going here for a couple months, best West African food spot ever !!! I've been to manyyy different places around Katy and Houston, this is by far my favorite ever . Highly recommend the Egusi soup with pounded yam fufu. Delish!!

The wait took a little bit then expected but it was worth the wait. I didn’t get a chance to take a picture of the food it was so delicious. I got the jollof rice with beef, also some suya. The spice levels of the suya was PERFECT. Jollof rice and beef was very tender. So much flavor! The portions are very fulfilling. I use to travel to Houston for these items but I no longer have to after finding this lovely establishment.

My first time here but won't be my last. Didn't expect to get so much food for the price. Had Jerk Chicken, Jollof Rice and Plantain.

This is my first time coming here on my lunch break. The service was 10/10 and the food was so good. I asked for a to go plate but ended up devouring all of my food because it was so good. The owner was nice as well and checked on us.

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise discovery for me and my family. We stumbled on them on Door Dash and their dishes were really nice and tasty. So glad they’re in the local Katy area, it will definitely drastically reduce our weekly drive into Houston to buy Nigerian dishes. Suya was oh so tender and yum, meat pie had nice buttery flaky crust with not-overseasoned filling. The jollof, porridge, coconut rice and dodo were also yum. Need to try their soups and swallows next to finally seal the deal.

The food was so delicious and filling!!! My mother ordered the egusi soup with extra spinach and goat meat with fufu along with the Jamaican Beef Pies. I ordered the Jolif Rice with Plantain and Goat Meat!!! I'd been wanting this for a while and I wasn't disappointed!!! We can't wait to go back for more!!! The employees were very welcoming and polite and of great service! It felt like home. The photos does no justice for how food actually looked.

Came here to for some nigerian foods since were craving for jollof rice…the arrival of food is a bit slow bit the staff is very nice and pleasant.. when the food came out it was fresh, hot and amount was decent for its price.

I had a beautiful 5 star experience here today i had the fried and chicken..

The food was so… delicious. I had the okra and stew chicken and it was seasoned just right. The hostess was so polite and patient. It was just heart warming to eat authentic African food in Katy, Texas.

Top of the line quality, taste, service and texture of the meats. Assorted meat okro soup, pounded yam and plantains. Also, my first blackberry ginger ale!

Went here with my husband twice in one day cause the food was so good. The young man at the register helped us with all our questions. Would definitely go back!!
