This is the place to be for a taste of home if you grew up in a Filipino household. Eating here is like eating at home, but with a larger dining room. I usually get the longsilog because I like breakfast all day. Save room for halo-halo.

Pancit was barely okay. I’ve had a thousand times better in Pensacola. Undercooked veggies, gross tasting pork. $40 gave me a bad meal. What an absolute shame. Never returning.

I am very very picky when it comes to Filipino food, especially my sinigang but this- this tastes just like home! So maraming maraming salamat po!

The reason I am giving 1 star is because I had trouble with my order. It was suppose to be ready Wednesday at 4:30pm and it was not. So I re-ordered small tray of chicken adobo $75, tray of white rice $20 and a dozen lumpia $9.00. I spoke to the family we purchased the meal for. There home burned down and my husband and I wanted to provide their family with a hot meal. Well Ruby Gin got my order wrong AGAIN! They never gave the family the lumpia which is what their kids loved. Ruby Gin straightened up on your service and food orders It should not be so hard! I will be calling to get my money back because the family lives in Breeze…..Unhappy customer!

Terrific food except the bang bang shrimp isn't anything like @Bonefish. But they were good. My filipina wife gave pinakbit a thumbs up, as did I. Tasted fresh and the waitress was nice.

Ordered lumpia, chicken adobo, and pancit so that we could have leftovers (instead of doing the daily special). The food was okay, but the serving size for the adobo was comically small. Also surprised they didn’t really have a lot of options for vegetable dishes.

The pork adobo is incredibly savory, and the lumpia isn't too bad!

Will difently be going back great service and great food and a reasonable price for the amount of food you get

We drove for almost 1 hour for Filipino food, but we were so disappointed with the food. I’m so sorry, especially the Pork Sinigang. The pork doesn't taste so good; it tastes like pre-cooked. I didn't expect that's the taste of their pork sinigang. And the bistek is so chewy and hard to bite.

Over price for what you get and not very good.

Always get the beef and broccoli. This last time they gave less broccoli than normal but still good. Lumpia is always delicious!

I love this place! The food is delicious! To truly experience Ruby-Gin you have to come out for a karaoke night as well.

Wonderful, attentive and pleasant server and some very good food. The Lumpia was crispy and tasty, the pork sisig was crispy and tasty, the lechon was crispy but somewhat flavorless. The pork adobo was amongst the best we've ever tasted! The pancit was the biggest disappointment. While colorful with fresh vegetables it looked beautiful.... too bad it lacked flavor and seasoning. Worth a visit!

Why is the restaurant closed nearly all week? They should be open every day for people who want to eat there.

My wife and I are visiting from Atlanta to see our son at the Marine base. Breakfast/Brunch was great. The lumpia and one of the egg dishes with sausage was my breakfast. My wife who is Phillipino tried 6 others and was excited for each. Prices are low and portions are big. Not the nicest building but it doesn’t take away from the food. Highly recommend for authentic Philippine food.

We always do take out, but the food never disappoints

Very good food but do not order on grub hub. online orders are very small portions , I ordered pork adobo and rice I was given 4 tiny pieces of meat and a ton of rice. I thought I would be able to share with my kid because , when I dine in we get huge portions of food that’s enough to feed two or three people I always have leftovers to take home ! So I didn’t understand why my online order was like this.

I can’t rave enough about Ruby Gin. Every time I go, it’s fantastic. The food tastes amazing but it’s also impressive that they can be so consistent. There has never been any kind of issue. The staff are the sweetest ladies I’ve ever met in my life. They will help answer questions, give recommendations, and are so kind. I’ve tried ordering something new each time but I’ve got my favorites. (Spicy sisig with eggs! 🤤) Pork adobo and igado is also a favorite for me. The last time I was there, a huge lunch rush had hit unexpectedly. There were no tables, but the staff was so quick and efficient. I haven’t seen any other restaurants in this area handle being busy so gracefully. Everything about Ruby Gin is just incredible. By far, my favorite place to eat in Pensacola. Hands down.

Good food, fast service and they let me sing even its not the weekend yet. Only downside is ATTN: The tip is already included in your total didn't realize it so they get extra more in cash just the heads up for people that vacationing. Over all a great staff and food.!

I went here for the first time this week. I used to think it was a food truck, but I was wrong. It is in a building with a decent amount of parking. They have a wide range of menu items. I got the pancit canton with pork and turon. It was quite good and I will definitely be back.

Insanely delicious, authentic, Filipino food. This place deserves to be in a more high-traffic area with a slightly better property value. For now, it is a hidden gem. Do not sleep on this one.

The food taste was just ok, i had the pineapple chicken soap with rice, my wife had the super spicy steak and rice, and our friends had the Siki entre. The food taste was just ok, not super good as in other places. The chicken was chunks of chicken cut from the chicken and boiled in water then thrown in the pineapple soup ( please see picture), and the steak was chewy and super spicy. The atmosphere and service were very good. Awesome job from the servers. As soon as a dish is empty, they come and grab it and clean the table, good job servers. The lumpia were delicious! We ordered chicken fried rice which was also great. The pancit was just okay and not very flavorful like traditional pancit I’ve had elsewhere. The portions were large.

Came for lunch and everything was delicious. Food here is pretty authentic and I've had my fair share of Filipino food. Definitely a must try for those wanting to expand their culinary palette. Food may look intimidating, especially if you aren't accustomed to Filipino food, but give it a try. The sisig and lechon were on point. Felt right at home

I had a birthday event there recently and had a great experience. 3/4 of the restaurant was reserved for this event, and it was still open to local customers. I thought that was good. The food was great; waitresses did a good job managing their time between the local customers and the party customers. Don't plan to have beer as they are quite expensive, which I thought was pretty unfair considering how much the event cost. Other than that, I have always had a great experience at Ruby Gin, and I have always enjoyed my food. Thank you 😊

1st time I came here food was ok I just can’t believe how expensive the fried pompano is🙀 $19.99 for a 1 fish?. Fish sinigang is more cheaper lot’s of ingredients than fried. When you pay it changed a bit the price I was shocked!!

As soon as I opened the door I knew I'd like it. The aroma in the air was so inviting, the staff were so welcoming....This was my first time eating at a Filipino restaurant. Everything my family ordered was amazing and full of flavor!!! Our waitress was very friendly, as were all the staff. Food was delicious. Cannot wait to go back. I have never had bad sisig or pancet but my sisig was dry and my pancet noodles were hard.

Food not bad,price is ok, but the floor is dirty,look like,it's never been cleaned for s long time and the glass window is also dirty.
