Horrible customer service and the place is disgusting. Looks like they didn’t even want to sale anything. My first and last time never again.

Deliciousness overload! The market has a plethora of fresh vegetables & seafood to choose from at excellent prices. The restaurant has the BEST pho, loaded with fresh vegetables, herbs, & spices-also at great prices. Definitely worth frequent visits!

Great place for Asian stuff. They had fresh Pompano come in as I was there. 3/12/23 went in again, and wife and I shared a bowl of Pho Tai, spring rolls, and a sesame ball. And we are stuffed! The soup there is delicious. It's served with fresh bean sprouts, fresh basil leaves, a slice of lime, cilantro, and a couple slices of fresh jalapeño. In regards to the people saying the food service lady is cranky; She's not at all that's just the way she is, maybe a cultural thing but I've been several times and get excellent service and even better food!

They always spin in circles if you spend over 77.77 for luck its amazing, alot of people will do separate transactions to get them to do it multiple times

Visit here frequently due to being only place can find reasonable prices for special diet. There deli has phenomenal food..lacks customer service. Multiple times they get order wrong or close to closing and rudely say 'you order and must leave' or 'order but you go' I'm sure translation/communication could be said as the issue, but body language definitely shows irritation and tone. All other interactions in store are pleasant. Deli staff seem very irritated and seem snappy with others and customers. We will come back but disappointed when owners/manager so kind.

This is my "go to" place for Vietnamese groceries, prepared food and kitchen supplies.

There are great selection of all variety of can foods from all over asia. The quality of the vegetables are fresh and never stale since it runs out every day. There is an indoor restaurant if you want to eat after you shop or just go there to get something to eat to go. They run a promotion from time to time. Update review: Ever since the old owners sold this place, the new one has changed things around and made it a little better but took away the 10% away for good. So we hardly come and shop just every now and then when we do need something. We usually go to Saigon now. It's not they are better they just have more things that we need.

I will say, the store does have the best selection of the area Asian groceries. However, it's very frustrating that the staff will refuse a sale, only because I am two pennies underneath their "credit card minimum" (which is their violation of Visa's merchant agreement, anyway). I only needed two items, my total was $7.98, and they refused to let me check out with debit. I don't carry cash, and I did not want to purchase an additional item to meet the $8 criteria. I got what I needed at Saigon, which is close by on Pace Boulevard!

Don’t listen to the posted hours on google, they close much earlier. And you will be out of luck like I was. I drove 25 minutes and then they were closed. Very bummed, because their food is quite good. And good prices

Place closed early days 7pm but doors are locked before 7 pm 🧐. Nobody like to lose there gas money to make a last stop just for it to be close . I needed 1 item I would’ve been out before 7. Besides that I do love this store . They have great selection and decent service

Lili owns the place. She is always out and about checking on customers and employees. She might be cashing people out at a register, in the kitchen cooking, or tapping you on the shoulder to see if you are finding what you need. She is a font of useful information about her products, her food, and her country. I LOVE THIS PLACE!

The young lady at the front end really needs to work on her customer service. If a customer is asking for something it's because they've either at one point seen it or purchased it at the store. When asked asked question you don't grimace, scowl, or retort rudely, that ain't it. This kind of service makes a customer not want to come back. Things aren't priced correctly like product and pricing are not aligned or sku doesn't match the product barcode. It's also very dusty in there. A customer shouldn't have to go through the store sneezing and wiping watery eyes. I really should have left everything at the register instead of buying after receiving such rude service.

It's a excellent choice for Pacific rim asiatic food choices as we know the Asiatic and French culture very well combined in a fierce and gentle race.

Loved it! 😍 So many amazing Asian grocery items. I'm sad I didn't find korean corn silk tea, but they do have other korean teas and coffees. They also have a restaurant inside. I didn't have time to order so I'm definitely making a trip back here soon!

Average size Asian market. It needs more fruit and snacks. Needs more instant noodle products. There's a food court in the back with a large menu.

I love this place! So many vegetarian options! Vegetarian fish such as lobster, prawns, etc. Amazingly delicious plant based meat bao buns and other vegetarian buns as well. Plant based curry etc. Amazingly fresh vegetables their cherry tomatoes are the best in pensacola !!! I lived in Japan for 4 years and this is the place I shop to get my Japan food fix!

This is a small market store combined with a restaurant within. It's a small store and the food was mediocre.

This place has it all for your asian cuisine needs. The owners are very friendly and love to educate even the most novice of shoppers. They also have an entire deli/restaurant that has fresh food daily and a full menu to order from. The best Pho I have had in Pensacola, let alone anywhere. This is a must for all of your needs! 5 stars!

Great place to get small groceries

My wife is from Manila and loves to shop here. It's the best Asian store in Pensacola. Definitely more variety than all the rest and prices are reasonable.

I went in there with my family for the first time today. The manager Vinny heard me ask my daughter to go get me a cart and he said no I will get it for you! He got us a cart then showed us around the store and chatted with us, he was so nice and welcoming. Definitely my new favorite Asian market!! I was very impressed with the store and especially the customer service!

Food is absolutely delicious, best Vietnamese food in Pensacola hands down.

They had a lovely selection! They have all sorts of snacks, drinks, cooking ingredients, both spices and fresh produce and meat and seafood! I highly recommend if you're looking for some new or different recipes to try, or just want some different snacks!

5/20/23 tried this place again and shame on me.... The meat and toppings on this are rediculous. Especially for $8 sandwich. This is absolutely the last time. I gave it another chance.. Such disappointment. 9/16/22 This store was bought out by another person and not the same. Too Americanized which completely takes away authentic Vietnamese atmosphere. Went to shop today and had to leave. This new CHENS does not carry our rice brand nor other items I have previously purchased here. So disappointing.

Pho portion is huge with generous amount of meat. However, the pho noodle was undercooked, the broth amount too little, and they overcharged us. There was confusion with a very simple order. Even after we cleared up the confusion, they chose not to refund us the extra charge. A little bit dishonest, I feel. The order came out as we intended but they waited a while for us to approach them for a refund on the overcharge.

I thought it is small store but it is huge. We will get all types of korian stuff here.prawns and crabs are fresh.

Love that they carry a lot of Hawaiian products now they just opened up a new Polynesian section section. First in pensacola. Now my favorite store out here. Thank you Bien Dong for thinking of us islanders.

Business in the front and party in the back. Grocery store located in the front, but some amazing eats and boba in the back. Quick service for food and drinks. Budget friendly food options and my mango boba was tremendous!

The cashiers at the front are usually very helpful and friendly. The dining area is usually confusing as to who you pay and how you order. You need to be assertive to get their attention and get helped. The sign says pay here, but I have been told to pay somewhere else every single time. I like the Pho, the broth has a good flavor. That being said, my GF got sick while eating their Pho, we are still unsure what caused it but I have returned again since that incident. As far as selection I think the variety in the store is pretty good. I recommend stopping and giving them a try.

What a great place to find all the food you miss from China, South Korea and Japan, among others. Incredible selection of dried noodles and spices with condiments galore. Fresh seafood, vegetables and fruits you won't find elsewhere. Limited dried seaweed though. Overall, great place and friendly staff. You should look up some recipes and come here to find the ingredients you won't find at Publix.

I've had my share of pho in Pensacola, but this Pho Dac Biet was soo good. Definitely will be getting again.

Drove down all the way from Fort Walton Beach just to order a roast duck but they were out by the time I got there but no biggie, they just said to pay in advance and I can pick it up the next day. So I drove back down from Fort Walton Beach expecting to pick up my roast duck only to find out they never sent in the order chit and so they didn't prepare it. They gave me a refund but nothing beats the disappointment of putting in so much effort and looking forward to something, only to have it blow up in your face.

Sometimes ethnic grocery stores can feel intimidating to persons of a different ethnicity. Not so at Bien Dong. Everyone is so kind and helpful to assist me in finding that ingredient I need for cooking that Publix doesn’t carry. The store is clean and well-lit, and the selection is outstanding. Also, prices are reasonable. Bien Dong is my go-to Oriental grocer in Pensacola.

Very clean and well stocked Asian market. Lots of "FRESH" seafood, meats, and fruits. There is a deli with a great selection. I had a pho bowl and Vietnamese coffee for lunch. Deliscious!

The store had a great variety of items and reasonably priced products. The lunch area was clean and food was very good. A nice courteous and informative staff.

Used to be our go-to Asian store, but quality has dropped considerably with the take over of new management sometime in the last few months. Don't let the flashy looks and "updates" fool you into settling for inferior goods and products. Ie, if I wanted a banh mi slathered with a cup of mayo, I'd have gone to Publix. Today was our last visit for awhile.

I don't know what happened to the takeout cooked food section here but I won't be back. I ordered 2 pho and 2 pork bahn mi sandwiches today. The two pho were in 2 separate to - go bags as it should be for 2 seperate meals but only one came with the extras such as Basil and pho rice noodles while the other meal was missing the extras. And they weren't combined in one bag. There was only enough for one meal. Both meals had the siracha and hoisin sauces mixed together in one container instead of seperated. Seperate sauces is usually customary. My wife likes both the siracha and hoisin. I prefer just siracha. And both sauces combined was in a small container about the size of a sewing thimble. The jalapeno slices were also missing. One of the 2 slices of lime that was included was old and discolored. In all fairness the pho soup had a traditional flavor. The bahn mi pork meat had good flavor but was slathered in mayonaise and the usual pickled carrots and cucumbers were not pickled at all but were on the sandwich. The bread was fresh. There were just too many things wrong with this order for me to return here. I used to visit here regularly but haven't been here for a few years since I started going to the Saigon Market for carryout meals when they opened up their new diner. Saigon Market always gets it right. The prices between here and Saigon Market are about the same but the quality of the meals from Saigon Market far surpasses what I received here today. I see no need to return here for future carry out meals when I can go elsewhere and get a traditional meal served as is customary without having to check it before I get home.

My wife is gluten and dairy free due to severe allergies. We use to buy her ramen here but they stopped carrying it. They were made with rice. She asked the lady at the register playing on her phone, who said if it's not back there they don't have it. Didn't even bother to help look since they rearranged. I live about a block or so from this store and will not be coming back. Peace out.✌️

Friendly place with a wide selection of Asian style food, spices, and goods. If I am ever looking for something and I can't find it at Publix or Walmart I usually come here and can normally find it. My only real complaint, which isn't really a complaint, is that they run random discounts and I can never figure out why a discount was applied for one purchase and not the other.

They were kind , and had plenty of items for you to choose. I will return.

There is no service, employees will not assist. Employees were rude and act as if bothered when questions are asked. Store is dirty doesn’t seem to be cleaned frequently, saw to cockroaches near the food area.
