Tried this Filipino restaurant in Pensacola and it did not disappoint. Every dish is good and portions was generous for the price. There was a karaoke set up but we went in the afternoon so we did not witness any action. Too bad we are told that its closing its doors. Before they do that, go visit them to satisfy the home food cravings.

So sad they are losing their lease at the end of the month. I have enjoyed going there so much over the years.

It’s really nice being able to find places where I can enjoy authentic Filipino food again. Great food at a decent price and with friendly service.

Good food and good friendly service

Warm greeting when we entered and attentive service throughout the meal. Lumpia, pork bbq, nilaga, and garlic rice were all very delicious; tasted like my mom cooked for me. Ended with halo halo, large portion I could never finish after eating a whole meal! Great experience, will be back.

A quick Google search brought me to this place... I saw a picture of the sign and knew exactly where I was going. Let me say this before anything else: I absolutely hate that this location isn't right on the street front. People are driving by and missing this gem. Anyway on to what y'all wanna know, about the food... It's damn good. My grandmother was born and raised in the Philippines so I know authentic food. This is it!! The price and portions are pocket friendly. I ordered the BBQ pork on a stick with pancit and 3 lumpia. It's soooooo damn good. I'm still eating it... As I write this review, that's how damn good this food is. Please, please, please visit these people!!

Mami soup isn’t on the menu, but it’s delicious - chicken, noodles, cabbage, hard boiled egg. Other greats: lumpia, garlic rice.

I would like to share about my experience in Pensacola. First of all, we are from Austin, Texas, visiting Pensacola, Florida. We were so excited to eat at Sophia Belle’s Filipino Cuisine. Of course, as a Filipino, we were proud when we mentioned lunch. My family decided to eat at Sophia’s Restaurant. When we came in, my wife and I went inside. There were a lot of people inside, and we never realized that there was a private party. A white dude approached us and said, "Are you here for the party? If not, this is a private party, sir!" I’m assuming that he is the husband of the restaurant’s owner.The tone of voice and the way he spoke to us were so rude and arrogant. No one approached us to ask how they could help us. They said nothing, not a single word. They let us leave and closed the door. I was so embarrassed and humiliated in front of my wife because we had traveled for 10 hours just to eat at Sophia’s Belle's Filipino Cuisine. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to stop by and eat. The staff was unprofessional, rude, and not good at customer service.

Not a very welcoming atmosphere. Workers just looked at us and no one came and helped us after standing for a while. Not your traditional Filipino hospitality.

Been standing for a while, people working there just looked at my sister and I and completely ignored us. Very not filipino.

Don’t let the unappealing exterior fool you, our server Joy was knowledgeable and helpful and most of all the food was great with fresh vegetables and made from scratch.

Came for the Zumba & Karaoke Night (Fridays) and had a blast with the whole family. Never felt out of place or unwelcome, and the food was fantastic!!

Pancit and bbq chicken was divine

Good food and good service! We just moved to Pensacola and my wife is Filipina, so we just had to try this place out. We loved it and plan on making Sophia Belle's a regular place to visit. The food is really good and everyone is very friendly.

Karaoke Fridays and Saturdays, great food, atmosphere, friendly. Zumba class Saturday mornings.

First timer at Sophia Belle's. We had the Sisig and Lampia. Our server was amazing, and she explained all the options. The place was pretty empty at the lunch hour. The Lampia was awfully dry, and the Sisig was equally as dry. The garlic rice acceptable. Overall we were disappointed with everything but the service. Not a place I would frequent.

I always enjoy eating at Sophia Belle's, the food is very tasty, the servers are great and the portions are large. I always have to ask for a to go tray.

The food is great staff was awesome and I am looking forward to going back there.

Oh my, this restaurant is a wonderful surprise. Both the chicken and pork adobo specials are very good. I could have made a meal out of the pancit by itself. Amateur tip: squeeze the sour orange over the pancit!

Best place to get Filipino food ever

Food is absolutely delicious! Cooked when you order, it is worth the wait. Staff is very friendly. Karaoke is scheduled every Friday and Saturday nights starting at 7pm.

The food and service was great. The restaurant is in an old building and dated inside but still clean and comfortable. It's a must try for good Filipino food.

Food is good but they need to improve their restaurant especially their service & the prices. I ordered to go but waited over 30mns to get the food & no one checked on us at all. Foods are a little pricy with the amount of their food serving. I was VERY disappointed when I got home with how small the serving was. I will definitely not gonna come back. Hopefully you review your prices and improve your restaurant.

Sophia Belle' is about the best family friendly restaurant in Escambia County! And if Filipino cuisine is your thing, outstanding.

Foods are good but kind of expensive with the amount of their food serving. Each time I ordered the serving is becoming small.

I just celerated my birthday of this place and I am happy to say that the food was great my family from Houston, New York, Messisipipi LA, Al, Chicago, south florida had a blast!!!! I ordered from here today, adobo chicken with pancit and lumpia. When the GrubHub driver handed me the bag I nearly fell out from how good it smelled. I haven't had any great Filipino food from a restaurant in over a decade so I was excited to try this. They exceeded every single expectation. The lumpia are a wee bit on the skinny side but they do NOT lack in flavor at all. The pancit was amazing. The chicken though... It was divine. Olympian gods should be so lucky as to taste this. My aunt Connie was the best cook I've ever met. There was nothing she couldn't slam dunk in the kitchen. To call something equal or better than hers is the highest praise I can give food. This place deserves the praise. I called the restaurant to tell them how good it was, and I NEVER do that. I can't wait to try the pork adobo next time because if the chicken was this good, the pork might put me out for the count. And what a great way to go out.

Pros: authentic Filipino food, fast service Cons: too salty, poor to-go containers(half of nilaga broth spilled into bag), the dining room smelled strongly of sewage

Delicious and healthy food and great service

Had some fantastic sisig! Rich, crispy, and intensely garlicky. Also loved the decor! The big stage makes me definitely want to come by for a karaoke night. I don't know how Filipino food hasn't become the next big thing in the American culinary zeitgeist, but it's absolutely worth your time to check out.

How have I not known that this place exists. I was in the mood for pancit, so I put that into Google Maps and this was an option and the reviews were good. I got the Chicken Adobe combo. First about the pancit, it was excellent I got the chicken pancit and it was so good. It wasn't too salty and it had a good amount of chicken. The Lumpia was crispy and you could actually taste the cabbage. And finally the Chicken Adobe perfect! The last time I had Chicken Adobe (not form here) it was super salty and you couldn't taste any of the other ingredients. With Sofia Belle's I could taste the garlic and a hit of ginger. And for under $15 with the tip the portion size was really good. I highly recommend this place. The food is excellent, the service fast and super nice. If you love Pan-Asian food you need to add it to your to try list.

Visited for a Fundraiser and had a great time. Food was great, atmosphere was good and we truely enjoyed it. Now these photos are late, I was not the first to go through the lines so they were ravished before I could get through and take photos, lol. As I said, it is a wonderful place to schedule an event as the owner and her staff do a wonderful job to accommodate ensuring you and your guests are pleased with the experience 😀 😊

Not bad, I feel the filipino food in all restaurants is over priced, but this place is good.

Pinakbet, Kare Kare and Lechon Manok were really good.

One of the best family owned Filipino restaurants in USA. Food was really good, presented well. The place is tidy. Service was good. All dishes we had were cooked to perfection. A piece of advice, they need to have a better signage or at least some lighting on the sign so more people can easily find and enjoy this excellent restaurant.

Spent two years in the Philippines and appreciated the many different dishes from Bagio to Mindanao. At Sophia I had the chicken adobo lunch special. Something was missing and not what I was hoping for. Flavor and textures of the whole meal.. The poncit was good and did hit the spot. Might have been spoiled by my Aunt that makes it fresh on occasions. The lompia was way off as the picture shows. I miss the dishes I had in the Philippines and at Sophia's, I miss it even more. Will try somewhere else in town for adobo and lompia. Suggestions appreciated.

Excellent lumpia. Really good Filipino comfort food. I had the Tinola. Reminded me of my mom's cooking. Also, if you're in the mood to sing, they have karaoke!

Waited over 1 hour for food. Other customers complained about the time to get served. Drink your drinks slowly because it will be a long time before refills. Wait staff making excuses for everything. But the karaoke was good.

Waited over an hour for our food. No one checked on us until they started serving the family who arrived 40 minutes after us. They said they were just waiting on one more dish to finally bring our order to us, and they ended up just giving us our order w the one missing, and you can tell it’s been sitting under the warmer that entire time! They explained that the sisig took long to make bc its made to order, but when we finally got it, it didn’t even taste freshly made and was more like it was reheated. None of the servers wore masks. Also ordered Turin and it was all black. Wish I could have put 0 stars. Didn’t taste authentic at all.

Loved their food! 10/10 would recommend. I got their bistek and it was great. Got both appetizers and both were great.

I ordered the lumpia and pork adobo. Both of them were very tasty. I did have a problem with the lumpia which they fixed though. I had a missing lumpia and I didn't care too much about that, but then I found a hair cooked into a piece of lumpia. I'd never seen that before. They quickly replaced them and gave extra. The lumpia was homemade and delicious. The adobo was the best id had in a while.

Great service and even better food. The menu was limited but it seems that they offer more than what's on the menu as the customers near us ordered fish which was not on the menu we received and somehow there was a mistake somewhere and they were being served pork sisig. They refused this so I told the waiter that we would take it! Best mistake ever! We loved the sizzling sisig and they make it just perfectly! Wish I took a pic but it was way too gone before I remembered to. Lol. Kare kare was just as perfect and cooked correctly. The meat was so tender and veggies just cooked 👌. Lechon kawali was nice and crunchy. Perfect with mang tomas sauce. Huge servings of rice 🍚. The Ampalaya (bitter melon) with eggs, tomatoes, pork, etc was pretty good as well. All positive vibes for this restaurant and definitely must try! So far, best filipino restaurant I've tried in Pensacola. And, they said they have karaoke on Friday nights!
