Ordered a bacon cheeseburger, the burger was excellent, fries were hot & delicious!

Food was alright but I got it extremely fast. Fries are fantastic

Food was good and service was fast! Lady calling out orders seemed confused with orders through kiosk. Called them "Online Order" instead of name. Seemed friendly enough. Definitely recommended.

First time here for my sister who makes bierocks a similar dish.

A Midwest/Nebraska staple I was told I had to try. It was alright, a little salty, cheese was bland, tasted like kraft singles. Service was good, and our food came out fast. My stomach just didn't agree with the food.

A quiet, low-key, fast -food restaurant with an emphasis on delicious and healthy. Soothing retro decor adds to the ambiance. Update Since I wrote the above review, this restaurant has moved to a new, very nice, and also a more generic building. They are now busier, which is a good thing for the business, but it also makes the atmosphere less tranquil. The food is still good. I usually order the berry chicken salad, a fine choice for a gluten-free diner. As in the past, the quality of the chicken is unpredictable. Sometimes, it's warm, favorable, and tender. Other times, it's a bit dry and tough. My husband always orders a sandwich, and he always likes what he gets.

Wow! Major crowd pleaser!! Amazingly fast and hot food served to a huge crowd within minutes!! A bus of 50+ stopped in for a Friday night dinner, and the staff took care of us with zero hesitation.

Got it last night and since 4AM have had nausea, headache and diarrhea.

This was my first time and I was very pleased. Their signature sandwiches are delicious and the whole menue seems to still be a good value. The service was fast and the staff was excellent. I do recommend you go.

Our first time here, ordered a Runza with cheese combo with frings. We were not impressed at all. The sandwich had no flavor at all, the onion rings had a sweet taste, did not like this combo at all. Definitely would not stop here again.

Staff was great. Haven't eaten any Runza in 20 years and was dying to have it again. Food was so salty I couldn't eat it. Had a regular runs a sandwich and a Runza with Swiss cheese and mushrooms. Both were horribly salty. Strawberry shake was fantastic.

0fish sandwiches nothing like what is advertised. Horrible. Chicken strips are received french fries instead of onion. Horrible food.

Worst fast food I’ve ever had! Sandwich was disgusting. Barely any beef and bread was falling apart and soggy! Fries and rings were the only thing i actually thought were decent! Get a burger everyone else I saw was eating a burger!

We stopped in here to stretch and get some food. The food and service have always been great, to me. This location is new, I believe, and my wife had no complaints with the restroom. We stop everytime we travel through Nebraska to see family back east.

Traveling through the area, watched a YouTube video and had to make this part of our Nebraska experience. The service was so fast and the food was very fresh.

No real value here. It’s a baked in cheesesteak sandy. Need some spicing up in my humble opinion.

This place was filthy! No clean tables, floors dirty and I won't mention how nasty the bathroom was! Sat there for 40 minutes and no one ever came and wiped the tables down.

We are not full time Nebraskans but we keep hearing that Runza’s is the place to go to eat. I would say it’s nothing to call home about but food was good enough to eat every now and then.

This place was extremely clean and the staff was very friendly. The fries were outstandingly delicious. The burger was fresh and juicy. I had the double cheeseburger, which was just the right size. This is a fantastic place to get a quick bite to eat if you're in the area. We were just passing through, but if we're in the area again, I would, without a doubt, stop here again. I highly recommend not passing this place up for a quick and delicious bite to eat.

Classic Nebraska fast food restaurant serving Runzas, a handheld meat pie with ground beef and cabbage. Also some of the best burgers and my favorite- frings - a combo order of onion rings and crinkle cut French fries. Only the drive through was open in their new Ogallala location for this visit.

Enjoyed watching a young man receive training from an equally young lady. They were polite, attentive and precise. Our order was prepared hot to order and we loved every bite. We were passing through the area but had previously lived in Nebraska where dining on Runzas was a frequent event for our family. The delicious flavors are the same and the frings option makes it even better. Very clean restaurant.

My husband and I were there on 8/13, around noon. It's a nice new location and Runza's food never disappoints. Staff seemed low, the only girl at the counter taking orders did a great job considering that it was very busy in there and a line almost out the door. However, I'm assuming that they were understaffed because there weren't any clean tables in the dining area. Music was too loud and obnoxious and there was only cold water in the bathrooms to wash hands.

New building and a new spot. Nice and clean, services so good and friendly.

A brand new store with a friendly staff! We hadn't ever tried a "Runza" sandwich before, so on a friend's recommendation, we stopped in for lunch. The mushroom and Swiss was awesome! We'll stop in again the next time we're I. Nebraska.

Honestly, I was not impressed. Spouse and I decided to try something new and this seemed like a chain we had not heard about before so decided to try it. The staff were very friendly and offered advice for the first time customer. A Runza sandwich is just ground beef with either cheese or cabbage or bacon, a couple other options. Kind of like a meatloaf sandwich on a supposedly fresh baked yeast roll, only worse. The onion rings were decent, the fries were awful. The facility was clean, but had lots of flies. We seemed to be the only ones concerned about there being flies everywhere. The staff were friendly. I will stick with a cheeseburger in the future.

If you aren't going to be open, take your sign down from the interstate exit, losers!

Worst food ever??! Just ordered two Jr. Swiss mushroom burgers and the meat was expired and all salted down and tasted disgusting?! We both got sick on the way home to Omaha#@..I will never go back to this Runza Ever again!!? Gross... 🙁😡😨🥵🤢

This place used to be a steak house back in the day. Family run and a fun atmosphere. Not now. My how time changes things and not for the better.

The sandwiches weren't as good as other Runza locations but still tasty. Dining room was closed which was weird so just went to the drive thru.

Out of sodas from fountain only had 3 choices in bottles. No ranch sauce. Dining room was closed... just a lot of things that I would of liked and they were out of. The food we did receive was very good and the drive thru worker was very courteous and kind.

Need to open up in Wichita KS. LOVE this place

I stopped in yesterday evening 11/30/2022 around 7pm. All of the kids that were working were very polite, nice and courteous. The food was hot and fresh and they even made me a fresh pot of coffee. Great job for the whole team.

To be fair, they are in the process of moving. Landlord apparently is less than attentive and heater did not work. It was about 50 degrees inside.

We have stopped at Runza in other towns in Nebraska. The fast-food portion of the experience in all of them is interesting. Closer to a ground up White Castle burger than your typical fast-food burger. A Runza "burger" is ground meat and cooked onion in a soft roll. Pretty good flavor. It is the atmosphere that is disappointing. This Runza is in a rundown gas station with gross bathrooms. Being in cattle country there are plenty of flies in the dining room trying to land on your food. The dining area is painted in a beach scene which we thought was funny for the middle of the prairie. We had stopped with our daughter so she could experience a Runza burger. She could not eat it she was so disappointed. Would recommend Runza but not this location.

This place was super gross. They are going to be moving to a new location in 2023 which should solve all of the problems. The bathrooms are disgusting. You're better off in an outhouse.

We have had good experiences at other Runza locations in Nebraska. This Runza is located in a decrepit gas station. It was filthy and disgusting. There were flies everywhere, the trash cans were overflowing, the restrooms reeked of urine and were in desperate need of maintenance, and the employees, while polite, all seemed to be high school students with no adult supervision. This restaurant needs to be shut down by the health department.

Did not even want to eat at the Ogallala location. Went into the establishment to use the restroom first and it was beyond filthy. I have never see a restroom so disgusting before, I have been in out houses that smell better! The floor was wet and smelled of urine!!! There were even bugs (multiple bugs) crawling on the door knobs.. There was a piece of paper on the door that said the RUNZA restaurant was responsible for the cleaning of the restrooms. If the bathroom was that bad I can only imagine the kitchen! This location definitely needs to be looked at by upper management. Sorry to be so negative, but I can't even explain how utterly disgusting it was!

If you need to use the men's bathroom. Go somewhere else. It was sad. I had a chicken sandwich. The meat and the bread was good. But it was like they had put a 1 chicken strip on a bun.

The absolute worst restaurant I've ever been to. Flies everywhere, incredibly warm with no AC or fans.

The restaurant itself needs a SERIOUS update. But the Runza was pretty tasty. The bathrooms that are supposed to be managed by Runza were out of toilet paper and was so dark.

Not clearly marked, young kid working the register, & the runza & fries were extremely salty.

I had the Runza with cheese. The sandwich was piping hot but didn’t have much flavor and there was much more bun than meat. I was expecting more from this sandwich. I wouldn’t go out of my way to have one.

We stopped here on our road trip through Nebraska, the bathrooms are shared with the attached gas station and they are in desperate need of maintenance and cleaning. When we visited the ladies room was out of both soap and paper towels so we had to go into the men’s room. The restaurant eating area was ok, chairs and tables are sticky and lots of flies.

Always Love a Runza. Swiss mushroom runza & cheese burger runza are my favorites.

The spicy jack runza is a must! Living in Ohio I can only enjoy Runza once a year while visiting family in Nebraska. Great friendly staff at this location!

Tasty food. Our first time. The sandwiches are unique and the bread is quite tasty. The scratch made ranch dressing is a cherry on top for the meal. We would definitely come back.

Not a good experience. The young guy who took our order was very curt and rude. He got the order wrong, and one of our sandwiches had a big chunk torn out of it. I will never understand how business can charge us so much but not take care of our order the right way.

My first trip to Runza. I liked the concept, but it was not worth all the hype. There was very little filling, and the bread was just sorta soggy. Glad to experience it, but wouldn't need to again.

This was our first visit to a Runza. We found the staff to be very polite, and helpful with our questions. Our Runza sandwiches had a different, but not unpleasant taste, and we really liked the "bread" they were on. We couldn't decide between fries or onion rings, so we each got the "frings", which is a mixture of both. Their rings are touted to be freshly made, but they seemed like frozen ones from a grocery store (not bad, just not anything special). Overall, we were glad we tried it!

Runza is consistently good and something my family misses after moving from Nebraska. I try to bring it home whenever possible and enjoy this drive thru option being open late and always having excellent customer service. I am still sad they took the chicken strip sandwich off the menu. I opted for chicken strips and (my favorite) onion rings.

The food is always consistently good. One of my go-to is for fast food because it's always piping hot and done to perfection.

The food was subpar, and it tasted like it was made in a basement somewhere and thrown together. The bread was hard and stale, the seasoned beef was no more than hamburger and maybe some salt, and the presentation was very unappetizing. I could not get through half of my full sandwich.

Last chance to catch a runza on your way out of Nebraska back to Colorado!

Friendly, Fast and delicious soft bun sandwich. Recommended. Also have sudes and ice cream treats! Kid friendly, but not WFPB.

Runza in Sydney on our trip to Colorado was a 5 star, fresh bread and great taste. Stopped here at Ogallala Runza, no comparison. We both had the mushroom & swiss sandwich with fries (meal #3). Lemonade waaay too sweet, sandwich and fries waaay too salty, bread tasted old and hard. Will not return.

Building was cold. Employees had sweatshirts and coats. Cheeseburger was lukewarm but onion rings and fries were nice and hot. Felt sorry for the help.

Stopped here for lunch and went with the Chicken strips and fries meal. The chicken strips took around 5 minutes to come out, so they were cooked fresh. The seating area is around the corner from the cash register so the cashier was helpful to bring the food out to our table when it was ready, this was good customer service.
