Best Italian restaurant in Delaware!!!

I'm probably biased because I'm a semi regular, but the food is always amazing regardless of what I get, and it's not just covered in garlic to make up for the lack of flavor like so many other Italian restaurants. The fact that Sal actually works at Sals is a major bonus too, super chill guy always says hello even if he's running past with a pizza.

Medium White, cheese only, pizza all but $18 and $18 plus if you are paying to use your card, and they have tip jar so sals not paying enough to RING YOU UP??!! No More Sals.

A nice Italian restaurant with an ample menu.

I've moved down here from Wilmington 10 years ago and have been in search of an Authentic Italian Restaurant since then. Today, I stopped in Sal's and as soon as I hit door the authentic aromas of the Italian spices filled the air. There had been so many items to choose from , but I wanted to try their pizza. I'm glad I did. We ended up getting a Silician Pie with Meatball topping. From the fresh mozzarella, to the sauce, all the way to the homemade dough was superb. Lexi, our waitress, was amazing as well. We met Sal and he was wonderful! Everything was wonderful! We will be back. Thank you to Sal and his staff a wonderful experience.We will be back. Great place to eat, greatest affiliate Great food and good prices

So I ordered a meat lasagna to go and when they handed me the bag I thought it felt very light. I opened it up and started laughing, it literally looked like they threw one noodle in the bowl, threw a little meat around the side and put some sauce on top of it. The only reason they are getting two stars is the red sauce is quite good. I will usually try a restaurant twice before I write them off but not sure if I will go back here.

I went to Sal's and ask for chicken salad with just cucumbers and tomatoes....got it home..30 minutes away..Open it..it had Onions 🌰 pepper 🌶 sweet pepper..4 slice of Cucumber🥒 4 peices of chicken..tray full of lettles..look like a side salad..done for me..2023.🤦🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️🤮

I spent $30 I should have just went to Subway. The sub was horrible, it was supposed to be an Italian does this look like an Italian? It's just lettuce and tomato wrap-around a piece of ham and provolone cheese.THE BREAD hurt my gums and teeth it was so hard and crunchy you'd think it was toasted. The wings were flavorful but dry and a bit mushy. Mozzarella Stix were good the marinara was another story, it was very thin and bland. Pizza looked good, didn't have it tho.

There food has gone down hill there cutting back to much your lucky to get sauce on your linguine with mussels use to be very good

Best Pizza in Seaford! Friendly Staff.

Don't know what happened to this place. The last few large pizza's we have gotten we not good. Dough was way to chewy, and the bottom of the pizza's were burnt. Guess no more Sals pizza for me.

went in for a pizza 8/20 22 in afternoon ordered a gallrey pizza a everything pizza very little toppings and cheese they are using pickled banana peppers instead of green peppers giving our pizza a pickled taste didnt want a sub wanted a pizza

Staff always great...but the meatballs were the frozen ones bought from a store. Didn't come hot to table.

I have been going to this restaurant for 30 years. The pizza has always been one of my favorites. Mondays and Wednesdays there is a $9.99 large pizza special which is great. The subs are also very good. I have never gotten any of the entrees on the menu but if they are half as good as the pizza there they will be great I am sure.

So we've been to Sal's numerous times and honestly have never been disappointed. Pizza, Cheesesteaks, hoagies (or subs) , and Strombolis NEVER disappoint. Tonight we ordered a LARGE amount of food and everything was delicious! BUTTT.. the fried pickles were probably the best I've had in Delaware! They were just the right amount of crispy and cooked to perfection... Can't wait for my Sister-in-laws visit to share this gem with her!

My overall favorite pizza in Seaford thus far. The sauce is the Star ⭐ at this pizzeria. If crust was more crunchy less soft I would give 5⭐.

Yum yum yum 🤤 My favvvvvv place to eat lunch and dinner. There’s isn’t anything I’ve tried that wasn’t good! My Mediterrano pasta, the blush sauce, the cheesesteaks literally everything is SO good 🔥 I’m no longer able to eat pasta but I think about the food here daily. Definitely worth a try. Daily specials and the people that work here is friendly as well. Some of the best food comes from places on this road

This is more of a 4.5 stars review. Everything we ordered seemed fresh and it tasted very good. Capellini Adriaiche had nice shimp and decent scallops and crab. It was light (or as light as a plate full of capellini can be) and a good seafood to pasta ratio. Other than not having enough mayo, my wife enjoyed her Chicken Cheesesteak which is more of a chopped chicken rather than chunks or strips. The chicken fingers were cooked perfectly and the fries were crispy.

Pizza was amazing. The sauce for the pasta was SO salty. My youngest couldn’t eat it expect for the frozen meatballs which he said we’re ok. The staff is great tho.

Hands down the best pizza I have ever had! Nice chewy crust with a crispy bottom and loads of perfectly melted stretchy cheese! "Slippery" style pizza. Mmmm mmmm GOOD!

Always a good experience at Sals. We actually really enjoy his nephews place bella villas in smyrna as well.

Great weekday pizza specials and cold beer, after around of golf. If Iived closer this would be my pizza place.

This was our 2nd time visiting for dinner. Food was still amazing. Jennifer the server we had the frist time was not there and the server we had did an okay job, we got more help from the other server who was there that night.

Nice people, nice place. There are very few options in this area. Thank goodness I found Sal's!! The pizza is good! The bread is good too! The food is consistent and hits the spot. The wait staff is hard working, attentive, and pleasant, tip them well. I was glad to have picked the diamond in the restaurant rough.

Ordered ravioli with marinara sauce and was charged $4.00 up charge for the sauce when the bill came. Not a happy camper. They finally removed it but no one told me at the time of the order.

Basic but real cooking going on here. The bruschetta is some of the best ive ever had, awesome surprise. Consensus was the red sauce dishes (lasagne, shells) were far tastier than the cream sauce dishes (baked ziti).

I had spaghetti and the sauce was that of Spaghettios. My mom's friend had some pasta food item and he said that the sauce on his had the same taste. Very weird taste, but still enjoyed it.

What a meal! Enough for lunch the next day. Do not judge this restaurant from the outside or you will be missing some outstanding homemade food.
