Excellent! We use to live in the are 20 years ago and visit frequently. We were passing thru the area and decided to stop. It was the best Chinese food we have had in along time. Service was friendly ,polite and thankful. A really enjoyable meal with large portions

The crab Rangoon was crunchy and creamy!!! Sushi was delicious! Philadelphia roll, sashimi sushi and sweet potato roll were right on point. Pork fried rice wasn’t dry. Boneless ribs melted in your mouth. Really good service.

I Love the food here, I go there often. I get take out to eat at home. The service is great very friendly staff. Fast service.would recommended to anyone. It's my go to place for Chinese food it's great.

My husband & I ate here for dinner for the first time. We ordered the General Tso Chicken & Curry Chicken with a side of rice. Our meals were delicious ….not greasy & good size portions. The place is lovely and clean. Our waitress was wonderful. Will need to go back and check out the sushi bar. A very pleasant experience!

Every Thursday before Memorial Day, my friends and I travel to Hillsboro for a long fishing weekend. And we start at Sampan Thursday night. Never again. After 32 years of visits, the poor service we received was beyond the pale. Botching a long standing reservation is one thing; having some knob of a newbie manager suggest you fabricated making it in the first place is just wrong. For just so-so food. We liked the old Sampan when it had a proper tiki bar. But I will never set foot in this place again. Totally their loss.

We enjoy going here (we usually get takeout), but had a nice date. The diner across the way was kind of obnoxious and the waiter was very pleasant.

Only wished they had coke products to go with my Jack Daniel's

Number 7 combo was not good at all tasted like something out of the frozen food section at the market very dry rice burnt beef and chicken. For 16$ 😞. Was not given the right amount of change. Told the lady but she didn’t seem to understand. Anyway not going back there again it’s a shame because it’s my first time going there.

I ordered a pu pu platter for 2 and it was excellent. I also ordered a large wonton soup and it had lots of veggies and wonton it was delicious. I got a small house fried rice. The rice had bits of ham, shrimp, chicken, pork and veggies in it, it was delicious. I also ordered general tso chicken and the sauce was spicy and tangy like I expected, the chicken was moist and the breading even, the broccoli was crispy. Great experience today at Sampan take out. I also like that they had small containers of hot mustard on the table and you could grab what you want.

Love this place—went for dine-in New Years Eve for the first time and wish I went sooner. Friendly service, excellent Chinese cuisine and sushi, generous servings, great cocktails, and very reasonably priced. I called in and explained the situation, expecting they would exchange for an Alaskan Roll without the crab meat, but they refused. They were seeking to charge me again. Unfortunately, they prioritized one transaction over a potential of years of business. Very short-sighted and disappointed.

The food wasn't terrible, a generous portion, but I didn't feel great the next day. Not my favorite but not the worst I've had either. I sat in the bar area which seemed nicer than the dining room area. Bathroom was not to my standard of cleanliness.

We ordered here for New Years Eve and it did not disappoint! We forgot to order the day before like they suggested on their social media, however, we were still able to pick up our order only an hour or so later! Every single sushi roll was absolutely delicious. I have been to fancy sushi restaurants in San Francisco and Sampan certainly compared to those top of the line restaurants! None of the rolls were tipped over or anything after picking up and traveling a half hour back to the house. The dining is inviting and reasonably comfortable. Servers were welcoming and attentive. My first disappointment was the lack of the traditional hot tea. I started with an iced tea and was disappointed it was a bottled Pure Leaf product and not home brewed. I then started with the Chicken noodle soup. It was hot but a little bland.
