Nice gem of a restaurant. Food and service was excellent. The staff was very welcoming despite the rainy weather and having 20 of us in our party. Very family friendly.

Came for a drink and some food. The Mrs Key Like Margarita was pretty tasty. My manhattan was alright, but I’ve yet to go anywhere that truly makes a great manhattan. The loaded tater tot appetizer was pretty good. As a chef, my advice is making clean even slices of the fresh Jalepnos that way one bite is overly spicy compared to the rest based on the seeds being left in. The view and the club are AMAZING tho.

Highly recommend this place! We just celebrated my husband's 50 birthday there with a party of 30 people and I can't say enough good things about the restaurant. Tom and Jess were very accommodating, ready with suggestions, and just super nice to interact with. The wait staff was super nice as well. The food was delicious. We had two dishes: chicken ravioli and roast beef with sides of salad, bread sticks, baked potatoes, and veggies. Price was reasonable. The restaurant does not have a private room, but they used dividers and those worked just fine. We were able to bring decorations and our own cake. Our party was on Saturday evening, which also happened to be Sweetest Day, and the restaurant was busy. However, we felt like we were the only customers there. I highly recommend Sandbaggers Bar and Grill in West Branch to anyone for a private event or for a casual dinner.

This was a joke! The website says the restaurant is open. We drove off of i-75 based on reviews through construction and the restaurant was closed. They are not open on Mondays and Tuesdays as stated. Come on! Sandbaggers- update your website!

Not a golfer. This was a very nice restaurant. Server was very pleasant, food was great, beer was ice cold! All round great dinner in a nice restaurant. Would go back.

The wait staff was on the ball. The food was just ok nothing to right home about. The fish & chips were frozen

We enjoyed our meal and the service very much. My only suggestion is to ask the male employee with the long hair to wear a hair net.

Stumbled across this golf course restaurant while looking for a distracting bite after 5 hours of driving I-75. What a perfect place to relax for 45 minutes and respose before continuing the journey. I will be back!

Sandbaggers has great food, kind employees, and a nice atmosphere. It is a great place to celebrate and have events as well as good place to have a casual dinner. They have daily specials, which are fantastic, but something they are most well known for is their prime rib, perch, and walleye specials on Friday and Saturday. If you are looking for a place to dine, I highly recommend going to Sandbaggers.

Best restaurant in northern Michigan! No other restaurant comes close to Sandbaggers prime rib and fish dinners. I’ve never ordered anything from the menu that didn’t deserve five stars and their prices are very affordable. Staff is fantastic as well.

Meh. The staff said they are on a shortened menu due to all new staff. The lettuce in the salad was pretty brown. The chicken wings had very little sauce. Nothing had much flavor. Right now this is a step down from low end bar food at twice the cost.

Great place to go if you haven't already. I have been searching for a place to get great fish in West Branch for a while and this place is it. I'll have to make it there for an all you can eat fish Friday. I happened to be here for a work gathering and we had approximately 40 people. Not a beat was skipped by the amazing wait staff. Drinks were always filled and they were all super friendly. Between out 4 tables, we had appetizers real quick and they were delectable with my favorite being a tie between the brussel sprouts and the loaded tots. Just as we all finished our apps, our hot food was delivered that looked and tasted as if it was the only meal prepared and not along with 20 other meals at the same time. We all ordered different items so as someone who worked 4 years in a kitchen, I can imagine the difficulty in preparing that many different types of meals and it still be great food. The new owner was also in attendance and was very friendly and a great personality to have around. 10 of 10 will done here again. See you there.

Food was good, but service was very slow. Very noisy hard to hear conversation from table mates. Chairs very uncomfortable.

I'm so glad we listened to the reviews and stopped in for lunch. Both the service and food were great! Between all of us we had the fried pickle chips, prime rib dip, traditional chicken wings, and the olive burger. (Best olive burger...ever!) We were so happy with all of it! :)

We have been coming to West Branch my whole life. We found Sandbaggers and couldnt have been happier. The wait staff along with the food was amazing. Both owners came to our table to welcome us and make sure our food was good. I urge everyone to try this place out. Great Job Lisa and Staff.

Such a wonderful place to eat! The food is always top notch and I love the atmosphere. It's such a treat to dine on the patio on a warm summer night and look out at the beautiful golf course. I highly recommend this restaurant!
