Great Hot Dogs & prices but the Roast Pork Sandwich stole the show!

Love the hometown feel. Great specials and wonderful people are there to greet you. Hot dogs were great.

Chilli not as good as it use to be

It's a great little hot dog joint, with expanded offerings. Place your order, get your ticket and grab your food when your number is called. Good place to say hello to patrons while you wait. Pleased that is was what I expected!!

They have the world's BEST hot dogs... never had them, you got to try them!!!! We travel 50 mins q way to get them and it's worth every mile!!! Slaw dogs are GREAT too!!!

I ordered 2 Chili dogs, all the way. Make sure you specify you want a hot dog (as the Cashier asked me) because a Chili dog comes with Chili & Bun. The staff was friendly & said to feel free and park here (even if they're closed) any time I'm trucking through the area. Parking lot was very clean (DON'T RUIN THAT FOR THE REST OF US TRUCKERS) and in great shape! Thank you!

Best place to go for a hotdog in Abbeville

Just a solid good hotdog! Especially for the price. It's an out of the way hole in the wall place but these places typically have the best hotdogs anyway. Definitely worth a stop if you're close!

I am a Small town foodie...I found this place while working in the country. My only complaint is that on Mondays they're closed! The service is Great, they prepare the food with a smile. The fun is contagious. They have Hotdogs, Breakfast, lunch and it's affordable. The Best!

This place is iconic. Wonderful southern hotdogs. The "Skins" of Abbeville. And I mean the Hudgins Street Skins. Best dogs in the South. Worth the drive from Anderson.

Ordered four slaw dogs, received four chili dogs. Was not a fan. Chili was bland and mushy, buns were wet. It was only 12 Dollars, but I was fairly disappointed. The people were all very nice and sociable though. Very polite.

Great little local place with a couple indoor and outdoor tables. Really friendly people. Chicken salad sandwich was delicious.

Got the club sandwich. It was great. The only downside is the bathroom, which is outside around the corner.

I waited for help, the guy that came in after me they gave free burgers. The waitress said, "he can't order here." Nodding my way, i was the only one waiting. I left.

Was down in Abbeville for a job and stopped in for a quick hotdog. Fantastic all the way around. 2 hotdogs, chips and tea, for six bucks!

I have been eating hot dogs 🌭 at the place which is now known as Saxon's since the 1970's. Everytime I visit the Abbeville County area, I always stop there at the corner of Highways 72 and 28 to get some hot dogs 🌭 and I must admit that after over 40 plus years the quality is still satisfactory.

Almost 3 years later and it’s still consistently great!! We were passing through and had to stop. We were surprised the staff remembered us and I had a great time conversing with them while I waited on our food. The place was packed but the food came out pretty fast. This time we also tried the pork sandwich. It was so good! I don’t know where they get those buns but they are the softest, most delicious buns anywhere. Stopped by on a little road trip for work. Very friendly service, great sweet tea, and a damn good hot dog. If I'm ever driving through again I'll definitely stop for lunch!
