I reached out to Sayroo’s to help with catering a house party with around 60 guests. The Process: I called and spoke with the owner, I made him aware of how many people were attending the party and he recommended enough food to where I had some leftovers. We set a pick up time during our initial phone call. The Pick-Up: The day of, I came to pick up the food at the agreed time and he had everything set up for me. All food was packaged safely and was labeled accordingly. He made the process extremely easy and everyone at the store contributed. The Food: The food was amazing, everything was cooked so well and the flavors and spice level was absolutely perfect. I have purchased food from other Guyanese restaurant/bakeries before, and the food was never as good as home cooked, but they delivered on that. Another really important thing that they do not advertise broadly, is that their meat is halal. Though, I don’t eat strictly halal meat, I have family that do so this took a lot of stress out from needing to find another place to supply those dishes. Would I order from Sayroo’s again? Oh, Absolutely. They made everything very easy for me and the pricing was also reasonable. Another thing that I loved about their store is that they have actual Guyanese Pepper Sauce, which is so hard to find at other West Indian stores. If you’re looking for high-quality Caribbean food, great pricing and an amazing family owned business and culture, please support them. They are a small business that is doing very big things for their community, and to top it off they are extremely sweet and helpful. Thanks to all of you 🧡

UPDATE: ok, this is not a paid endorsement. Run, do not walk to this place. I HAVE NEVER HAD CURRY GOAT that tasted like this outside of Trinidad. FYI, I have lived States side for almost 40 years and I am a pretty good cook. Deep flavors, large chunks and curry that exploded in your mouth. It was not just finger-licking good, it was plate licking good!! What a joy! Hubby and I were visiting from out of town and ran into this place. First of all, the bake and salt fish and goat roti were on point!!!But the level of customer service and willingness to please exceeded expectations. Thank you, Ramesh! He chatted and made everyone feel comfortable and welcome. We were really glad to experience this after the POOR RUDE service at another Caribbean restaurant across town. All the best to you guys and btw, the phoulorie was great!

Authentic carribean fare... If your from the west indies and are longing for some of the wonderful seasonings and flavors of the food this small but well stocked store welcomes you in and offers roti, beef patties, and an assortment of bakery goods and drinks from all over the carribean. I've had the very good patties. And curry goat roti. They even have an assortment of British sweets, Cadbury etc. Bring your appetite and your wallet, be ready to enjoy the trip down memory lane with all your favorite back a yard treats! And if you just want to try some new seasoning and peppers this place is a treasure...

Great place to find Trinidadian cuisine. Flavorful status friendly. Because a variety of cultural drinks and plants and teas would highly recommend if you're looking for a taste of the islands

The best Roti in Tampa! Wonderful fresh baked breads and current rolls. They always have what I need when it comes to West Indian seasonings, beverages, beers, and condiments. If your Caribbean or like Caribbean food this is a must visit!

The roti was cooked well, but had no real flavor. I was disappointed. The patties are delicious and they have my favorite English candy bars.

Best west Indian bakery/eatery in this town. Find your favorites from all your origin countries.. Guyana 🇬🇾, Trinidad 🇹🇹, Jamaica 🇯🇲 et cetera. Absolute gem and treasure to them in the community. Wonderful people that own it as well!!!

From the entry to the exit, Sayroo's makes you feel welcome and satisfied. So many quality items to choose. And the cooked food will make you want it everyday. The food is always fresh, practically cooked to order. So I recommend calling in advance sometimes. Get your food early because they will sell off quick. Especially pholourie. Love the pholourie!! Cook up rice so nice and wholesome, curry. Chana, fish. Shrimp. Couple that with some if the best people you could ever meet. What is not to love.
