I didn't take a picture of my food but man, let me tell you, the food is amazing. Portions are great, and in this economy, the prices are extremely good. This was the first time me and my crew had Senegalese food and we were all thoroughly overjoyed with the deliciousness of this cuisine. You gotta try it and I guarantee you won't regret it.

Great little Senegalese Halal restaurant. Grabbed dinner to go and everything was deeelicious. Totally recommended for anyone visiting Cincinnati Ohio

The Oxtail curry over dirty rice was amazing. Great service. The kitchen staff made the dish extra hot as requested. Cozy family diner vibes.

The owner and his son are both SO NICE! Great customer service. Helped me out one night during a time I couldn't feed myself. Been back 3 times in less than 2 weeks! The salad with grilled chicken is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL, especially considering the price. The lamb was tender and paired great with onions. Will return. Showing pictures and telling people today at work

We order lamb dish, grill kebab, and Egg roll pocket. Lamb dish was very fatty and chewy, and lots of bones, grill kebab was super tough and lots of bones as well. Egg roll pocket was okay. This place isnt 4.7 at all!

First time ever seeing Senegalese food, and I have to say it was amazing. Food was flavorful and well cooked throughout, prices are reasonable, and the menu is so large and full of good options, there will be something for everyone here

This is a hidden gem, if you havent eaten here you should. Great service walking in, store smells amazing both clean as well as the good! Me and my co worker both ate their chicken curry and it was absolutely amazing. Chicken cooked perfectly, rice was perfect, curry sauce was spectacular. I will be back!

Hidden gem, food is awesome, have tried almost everything. Dining in is a greasy spoon experience, even worse if the TV is on loud. But the food draws you back

We've been coming since grand opening, and the food is still amazing! We at the Alfredo so fast I forgot to take a picture. It was so creamy and seasoned to perfection. I was able to get my spinach/orkra sauce (not the Senegalese name) by itself, and I love it!!!

Great food! Great service & great atmosphere! Their shawarma is awesome but the bouye juice is waaaaay too watery. In which i was told 2months agi but i figured it was gonna change to be thicker or with more taste since i wasn’t the first to mention it but otherwise their food is great. If you speak English, don't go. They don't care. You can ask, but they won't. Have asked for no thing but what I'm allergic to, didn't, take it out. The allergic reaction, done. Wow!!

Out of towner for couple months. Tried the Pattaya appetizer it's so good with red hot sauce. Priced well! Will be coming back to try the ox tail, jerk chicken, & soup. Can't wait. Hidden gem for sure!

After visiting Senegal last summer, I was pleasantly surprised to find this little place! I love the authentic dishes and opportunity to talk about my travel there. Everyone is so kind and the food is amazing!

Food is so good and the portions are excellent.

Got the bbq jerk wings and garlic parm . They wasn’t done . A little soggy and not crispy at all . Last yr I came and got the wings and one still had its feathers lol . Taste was not good at all . Good thing I brought a ramen noodle to work for times like this .

First time i ordered was good this time though idk the pics shows oxtail in a gravy etc doesn't look dry I ordered it and it was no gravy no nothing just rice and dry oxtail it was tough to chew I'm from Africa and also other oxtail restaurant gives u it in a gravy this was dry as ever maybe don't order with door dash cause everything was cold and dry shamwari

Have been a few times. The jerk chicken has consistently been good, got a bit adventurous and tried the oxtail and while the texture may not be for me, it was still flavorful and tasty.

Delicious food, fast carryout (15 minutes tops from placing order to leaving), and reasonable prices. My only regret is not ordering an extra plantain with my meal.

The best African cuisine Ever....Ever! 10 stars out of 5! I recommend to anyone that has no idea how Great, Awesome and perfectly cooked their food is.

The food was delicious. It was my first time having Senegalese food, and it blew my expectations! I told the person taking the order that I wanted to have authentic Senegalese food, and he recommended Thieboo Djeune (Fish with rice and vegetables) and Thieboo Geenar (Chicken with rice and vegetables). Oh my God, I had never eaten something like these in my life. If was absolutely delicious. It took me 2 or 3 minutes to get used to the new textures and flavors, but, at the end I couldn't stop! So good! Plenty of food for each dish. I ended up taking one full dish to my hotel (I was visiting Cincinnati on a business trip) to have it the following day. If you have never had Senegalese food but are adventurous, I fully recommend this restaurant. I will definitely be back if I'm in the area.

Food is always hot & delicious. I usually get the egg rolls, chicken wings & fatayas. This is my happy place.

OMG. We saw this place driving by and decided to try the drive through. It’s amazing! Fresh, super-flavorful, really well prepared food. We got our food in less than 5 minutes and it was cheaper than Wendy’s. I’d still have been very happy if it was twice as much.

The food is great. We got some of the fatayas which were crispy and hearty with great flavor. Likewise the kebabs were excellent.

The staff is helpful and the food is flavorful. Orders are made quickly, a great place for lunch. Also, it's very affordable. You can get a full meal with sides for as little as $10.

Usually great, but today was the first time I was served an entire meal that was cold. Sene burger and fries. I took it to go so I didn't realize until I sat down to eat. Today was also the first time I didn't finish a meal here.

The food was very good. Very well seasoned and some of the dishes have a rich spicy level. As a Mexican, I recommend this cuisine because they are filling stews.

Senegrill is a wonderful restaurant

OMG. So I’m a picky eater and I didn’t want to get the typical fast food so I decided to try this place…When I say it was so good!!! I mean it was delicious. I got the jerk chicken meal with the rice and beans and cabbage (which was awesome!!) and a plantain..it was so good! I didn’t even have time to stop to take the pic lol. I also got a chicken quesadilla and it was also good. I was full so I got a pic of some of the quesadilla. I highly recommend this place. Not really a place to enjoy dine in. But definitely a go to for a quick 10 min wait and take home to enjoy a somewhat authentic home cooked meal!! Also if you get the hot sauce that’s in the pic(it looks like chunky salsa lol) proceed with caution ⚠️ it’s very spicy 🌶️ 🥵!

Went in at 1030am (they open 11am) took my order with a smile. 2nd time eating here, love the oxtails! Wings are top notch with the tamarind sauce. 5 stars isn’t enough I give them 10.5🫡

First time here. Absolutely amazing. I had the red snapper and couldn’t stop eating it was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. My boyfriend had the jerk chicken and loved it. The owner was super friendly and brought us out wings to try on the house…those too were amazing. Can’t wait to come back and try other things. Great job guys

Best "thiebou jen" I can never pronounce it correctly. Lol. Always nice and hot and flavorful with a nice sized portion of the fish (is that the "thiebou"🤔) lol. Today it was so good, I had to leave a review - - it's ALWAYS good!

Not in Cincinnati often but when I come I will definitely go there.. Lamb was off the chain.. Excellently prepared food, concerned staff and seasoned to perfection... Good Job.. Any one ask me where to go in Ohio I will give y'all a shout out

I would definitely take a trip from Philly to this restaurant for this delicious food! Hubby and I were very satisfied with everything.

Food is amazing! Neema rolls, fataya, ox tail, wings with tamarind sauce, lamb w/onion seasoning and so much more. You won't be disappointed.

We stopped here on a whim and are so glad we did! The burgers are delicious if you aren't interested in Senegalese cuisine, but do yourself a favor and try it. I wasn't sure what to order, so I asked and got some great suggestions. I'm embarrassed to say I don't remember exactly what I chose (it was a long word that started with S - maybe #25 on the menu?), but it was a delicious blend of chicken, cabbage, tomato, and spices that was fantastic. I also tasted foufou for the first time - it was like the most amazing mashed potatoes I've ever eaten. Additionally, they make their own fresh teas and juices; the hibiscus was so good I brought an extra one home! Do your taste buds a solid and give Sene Grill a try.

The food here is spectacular if you are looking to try something new and unique this is the place fufu is awesome there chicken dinners are lovely the aroma is just fantastic keep up the good work highly recommend this place

While the food is fresh and tasty, all three times I have had the lamb or oxtails , the portions were stingy and left me feeling as though I was not a valued customer. I would recommend the wings because there is a set amount the you know you will get.

I don’t why but the chicken is a jerk. The food here is great at least. Sorry for the pun haha. Seriously though, I can’t recommend this place enough. Great food at a great price. Really love the jerk bbq wings and chicken curry.

Had the Jerk Chicken and it was fantastic!! Also had Honey Chili wings...they had perfect crisp on edges. My coworker had the Chicken curry. You see various ethnicities and different people coming into the restaurant and you hear all talk how amazing the food is. I will definitely be back again.

very tasty, hole in the wall. I had the grilled lamb and couscous the flavor profiles for unique, and I still can’t place all the spices, but it was great.

Beverages: Hibiscus juice taste a bit like pomegranate juice. Baobab juice taste like candy or pound cake. 👌🏿Baobab is my favorite, thus far! Meals: Numbers 13 (Yassa) is very good (ask for brown rice or they'll give you white w/o asking). I'm new here so, I didn't know. Anyway, my friends enjoyed #'s 8, 10, 19 & 26. The rice is plenty (if you want brown rice you better ask for it because the cashier won't give you any options). 🤷🏿‍♀️ Number 24 (alfredo meal) indicates chicken AND (not or) shrimp for $10. 🙅🏿‍♀️The cashier did not ask if I wanted chicken or shrimp. I was confused when my meal was delivered with only chicken. I was then told It's an extra $1 to add shrimp. That was fine for 8 small shrimp. However, 🤦🏿‍♀️It would've been nice not to pause until the shrimp arrive. They seem to be very kool bruthas tho. 🧏🏿‍♀️FYI: Their menu isn't up to date so your bill may be a bit higher than expected. Unless you ask if price is current. 👍🏽We've been 3 times in 1 week and we like it all except for the alfredo. It's a blend of alfredo sauce eith a hint of herbs & tomatoe paste to thicken it, which wasn't bad after I took it home & added some steamed broccoli & cayenne pepper. Best part is, all the food must be LOW SALT because it never mess with my blood pressure. Suggestion: Like the other Afrikan restaurants, Sene Grill should offer individual servings of fufu ($3) instead of large $15 family sized serving.🤞🏿

When my family relocated to Ohio from Kentucky this was one of the first places we tried and we've all loved it ever since. I have two kids so it's hard enough to make everyone happy but Sene Grill does it every time. We recently had to move and while in-between homes we are actually staying within walking distance. Needless to say we've eaten there every day. Highly recommend. Thank you for what you do.

Ok so I'm very upset over the oxtails I love oxtails but their oxtails are the worst they were tuff with no flavor at all ... The cabbage was delicious Please fix them oxtails they cost too much to be nasty

First time here… service was friendly, food was fresh and real! Very satisfying! Had the Oxtail and Jerk Chicken and both were delicious! Now on our rotation of places to eat!

Went here during Sat around lunch time. The place was clean. I got 1. Jerk Chicken(4/5) - The chicken was boneless (which I did not expect) and a tad bit chewy. The jerk sauce and the rice combo was very good. 2. Red snapper with a side of plantains- The fish was cooked amazing. Be careful with the bones. The sauce had vinegar flavor with tomatoes, carrots and onion. It was very good. But it’s a pain to eat the fish with bones. Overall a decent place.

OMG worst restaurant ever. Foods have rotten odor, meat looks like charcoal, salads is the worst and very old. I will never ever dream eating any of their food in my life. If you want to have food poisoning, good luck to eat or take out foods their. Their fish is fishy and old. Just run away from this restaurant. I beg you. I trashed every food that I bought.

Very good food. Found everything to be well seasoned and flavorful. I will definitely be back here to try the rest of the menu. The service was polite. I can definitely see the Sene Grill going on our list of regular take-out spots for those times you need a good meal, but don't feel like cooking.

First time eating Senegalese food, and this was the perfect place to try! The owner came out and offered suggestions, allowed us to sample their homemade juices, and really made our experience deliciously delightful! The jerk chicken had amazing flavor, with a bit of a kick (which I loved)! The plaintain was perfectly cooked for the perfect sweetness to balance the spice. The thiebou ganaar was also a plate full of new flavors with different preparations of cabbages. The homemade hot sauce was great flavor but spicy!! We ended up buying 4 of their 5 juices, because they were all so unique and refreshing. Highly recommend this place. Can't wait to return and try more dishes!
