Pasta shop never disappoints always has go to Sammy's

I drive over an hour to grab lunch here and stock up on their frozen meals! They are perfect for days where you don't have time to get a home cooked meal in but want to be healthy! Service is always top notch and they are stocked up with items you see in Italy!

We just had a party catered by Sergio's and we cannot recommend them highly enough. The food was delicious, the service was great, and Sergio was a pleasure to work with. Thank you so much for adding to our party! We will definitely be ordering from you again!

We love Sergio’s. Best quality & authentic imported Italian food in the area. We use them for mostly individual lunch sandwiches and for catering our home party events. The quality never disappoints and we get unsolicited praise on the food from our guests. The imported Italian cheeses are excellent and their selection of fresh Italian breads are great as well.

This place is always my first stop when flying back home. It’s so easy to place an order online, and if I time it once we hit 78, it’s ready to be picked up on the way home from EWR. The sandwiches are always fresh, delicious, and they live up to every memory of growing up in NJ. Trust me when I tell you that these sandwiches are the stuff dreams are made of. Absolute Core Memory stuff. Make sure to grab a few arancini, with some sauce to dip with and complete the flavor profile. And of course a cannoli or two.

This place is... AMAZING! What a crazy amount of goodies in one store! Seems endless there's so much there. Anything sweet you can imagine and a whole lot more. This is one of those destination stores. Give your kids $10 each and stand back! The staff was really friendly and helpful, always smiling. Street parking is pretty plentiful. Definitely a place to go back to over and over.

One of the better Italian delis in the area. The #1 is my favorite and their chicken pastina soup is the best. No more inside seating though so that’s a bummer. But their food is legit. Their chicken parm with vodka sauce is to die for.

The food is outrageous. The price is also a bit outrageous, but in 2023 that's the reality of most Italian Deli's. You get what you pay for. I highly recommend the chicken parm sandwich with vodka sauce.

The riceballs are incredible. Being a transplant from Texas, I hadn’t been too impressed with the other riceballs I’ve tried since being introduced to them by my wonderful Italian wife. Now my dream is to build a reinforced Fort out of Sergio & Co riceballs and defend it like The Alamo. Love this place!

Fantastic, small but mighty Italian deli. Super clean, immaculate in fact! We stopped here on our way through town on I-80. Had a create your own sandwich- ciabatta with salami, Turkey, sharp provolone, pesto, arugula, tomato,onion, and balsamic- Delish and huge(enough for 2!). We got chicken salad, no bread, and they arranged it beautifully with tomato, lettuce, and onion. Diet Coke and chips. Came to $30 plus tax and tip. Great value for quality product. They also had beautiful prepared foods in the case. We will definitely be back!

Great place. The chicken Parmigiano sandwich is great, with a good variety of soups and salads the special dishes are great.

Best Chicken Pastina Soup in Jersey!

$19.00 + change for a chicken cutlet and mutz sandwich on a shorter roll. Along with a bottle of water. I've eaten here many many times but this time it just wasn't worth the $ for the quality. Used to be fantastic. I can go 2 miles away and get one almost half the price. I know things are more expensive now but even so.

What a fantastic team working here. The establishment and prep areas are so clean, the food is beyond fresh, and the sandwiches are absolutely delicious. Sergio & Co. is the epitome of the perfect Italian deli!

After reading all the rave reviews I stopped into Sergio and Co to order one of their speciality sandwiches the #8 Grilled Zucchini, Marinated Eggplant, Fresh Mozzarella & Roasted Peppers with Balsamic on Ciabatta roll $14.50. What a disappointment .... lousy roll, way to much thickly sliced mozzarella and balsamic. The ingredients (except for the roll) were good but the ratios were completely off. If it wasn't a take out only I would have sent it back. I'm pretty sure all the people that wrote the rave reviews have nothing to compare Sergio & Co to but I do, Belgiovine's in Montclair and Mercado in Upper Montclair.

This place is great but I do have 1 issue that prevents me from giving 5 stars. They pre slice the mozz and leave it in a metal bin which leaves it to get cold. Mozz should be sitting in water and not be cold! This makes the sandwiches very inconsistent. I will just stick with sharp prov from now on.

Very good I had pasta with meet and tomato sauce it was presented nicely and tasted as good as the presentation.

The Best. Been coming here for over 20 years and always perfect. Try hot sopressata, arugula, fresh mutz, roasted tomatoes, and pesto sauce, on a ciabatta roll or rosemary focaccia (only on saturdays). Beyond tasty.

Delicious soups and sandwiches everytime!

Not cheap BUT worth it. Sergio’s offers some of the best authentic take out Italian food and the sandwiches are to die for. The bread for the sandwiches is amazing. Go. Go. Go.

What a great business in the downtown Denville business area. If you walk in during peak business hours, you may very well get intimidated and walk away, unless you knew that the food is really awesome and the store is well staffed and the lines flow rather smoothly. The sandwiches are top notch and are one of my favorites by far. The #7 (Breaded Chicken Cutlet , Mozzarella & Roasted Peppers on Semolina with some added Balsamic is usually my go to sandwich. Food is always fresh, staff is always friendly, and most importantly, the food is always awesome and consistent. One of the reasons for the long lines is the locals know where to go for some great food. Definitely worth the visit and you to will soon be hooked.

Pains me to say this since I’ve been a fan of this place for many years, but the truth is it’s not what it used to be. The sandwiches are smaller, and the quality just isn’t the same. The infamous #7 (chicken cutlet, mozzarella, and roasted red peppers) used to be the best sandwich I’ve had but last few times it’s been noticeably smaller and cutlets were dry. Mozzarella was average, whereas before it melted in your mouth. Hopefully this is just temporary, because this has been a favorite of mine.

Stopped in Sergio‘s today (Super Bowl Sunday) with a couple of friends who are in from out of town to show them some of the goods that they have here. They were not open for normal hours, but were accepting pick-ups for Super Bowl. The two gentlemen working behind the counter, (sorry, I didn’t catch the names), but were extremely gracious and accommodating. We asked to purchase a container of vodka sauce to take with us, and not only did they offer it to us for free, but they gave us a couple of containers of Arancini to try out as well at no charge. Completely unexpected and just amazing customer service from a small town shop in Denville, New Jersey. As a sidenote, I work in a local establishment in Denville, and we often order from Sergios, and the food and sandwiches are always outstanding! Highly recommend!

I wish I could get here more often, but I ALWAYS come on Christmas Eve. On the busiest day of the year, the staff is still so pleasant. Fabian helped me today and he was excellent. The food is always perfection and fresh and the fact that customers see Sergio helping the staff and serving the guests speaks volumes on his character. I will continue to give my business to Sergio. The best around!

I loved this place when I worked in Denville! I live all the way in Washington now and had to write a review since I was recommending it to a friend. The mozzarella, stuffed peppers, arancini, and everything was phenomenal. Can’t wait to visit again one day.

Never disappoints! I’m originally from Denville, however, moved away many years ago. This is a must stop every time I visit Denville. Food is excellent, great Italian sandwiches! Take out only, but several places to sit in town.

You can call ahead to place and order (highly recommended), and they also do catering with advanced noticed. The best mozzarella and prosciutto of the area!

Recently we ordered some items from the catering menu for some friends who had a family emergency and were expecting a large number of guests descending on their home. I called Sergio's the day before we needed the food and spoke directly with Sergio the owner. He was VERY accommodating and made up some special trays for our order (this is not always the case with all the local establishments in our new world we live in). Everything was beautifully organized and as always the quality and taste of the food was top notch (especially the meatballs!!!) and it was ready to go when we arrived to pick it up. Sergio's is the top of our "go to" list for take out and for catering from now on!!! Go Sergio & Co!!!

After years of coming here, the quality has really gone down hill. I ordered my usual #7 for lunch and didn't realize a sandwich is now $14 there, but that's not even the point. The chicken cutlets were soggy and tasteless, the mozzarella was chewy and felt like puddy with no taste, and the sandwich itself was 75% bread. I won't be going back here for quite some time

I recently ordered from Sergio"s catering menu for a small family gathering. The selection included chicken francese, cavatelli with broccoli, shrimp oregananta, salads and a dessert platter. EVERYTHING was delicious. I can highly recommend.

Sergios…what can I say. They are amazing. I ordered catering here for my daughters baptism. They aren’t open Sundays, so you need to pick it up on Saturday. We’ll with people coming into town, I completely forgot. I didn’t realize until 11:30pm that night that I didn’t. I franticly Facebook messages, Instagram messaged and emailed them. Early am the owner calls me and came in to help me get my food. I truly thought that wasn’t going to be possible and had already come to terms with trying to rush to back up option. Such a kind man. On top of that, the food was really good. The whole group kept commenting. Def our go to place in the future.

I love their food and the quality is too notch but you pay out the nose for it. I mean they raised the prices on their sandwiches 2 dollars in the past year and half. I doubt that will be a deterrent for anyone who wants the quality you get with Sergio's but I just fine it unfortunate. Just my two cents

I ordered 4 specialty sandwiches today for curb side pickup. It was so seamless and safe to be able to roll up and have your order packed to go. The food is spectacular as always and I’m thrilled to be able to support our local Denville businesses. Loved it.

This place is awesome! My family has had events catered from here. The sandwiches are awesome, plenty of meat and flavor. Stop by for lunch or pickup something for dinner!
