Cute little place. I had the corn beef hash with 2 eggs, hash browns and wheat toast and everything was delicious 😋. The server was super nice and the food came out quick. My sister had the crab asparagus Benedict with grits and cheese and a friend had the avocado bacon omelet. Will go again.

Food was OK, not outstanding. Wonderful friendly service, and a magnificent collection of tchotchkes for a unique atmosphere. The biggest thing that gets the lower score is the prices. To high for the venue.

What an eclectic place. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this many salt and pepper shakers in one location. My partner and I stopped in for lunch. I went with the classic patty melt, which was absolutely amazing while my partner deferred and went with the soup and chicken salad sandwich, which they say was amazing.

Had planned to go to Cocoa for the double launch & breakfast. When one launch was scrubbed we decided to stay closer to home but try someplace new. Found our way to Shakers American Cafe and glad we did. One breakfast quesadilla & two cinnamon bun pancakes later, we were hooked. Must have been "destiny" 😉.

City Slicker sandwich is great.

I was simply looking for breakfast. Google said this was close. I am so glad it did! Food was fantastic!! Meat lovers omelet was so good. The staff were so good and friendly. (Almost thought she was flirting 😂). The Shakers were really cool, brought back memories of ones my grandmother's had. I look forward to returning.

The wait was long. It fills up because it is good in prices, family atmosphere, variety of dishes but small for the volume of people.

We had the banana pancakes and the pork belly benedict and they were 🤌🏾😚! We were sat immediately and Reese was quick and super attentive. The coffee was flavorfully strong but I wish they offered other milk options besides 2%. It didn’t matter bc I still had my coffee with milk. We look forward to coming back soon.

A quaint little diner run by a lovely couple. Pork belly Benedict was really good. Substituted the English muffin for biscuit and it was still so good. Sides of mushrooms and spinach were good as well, though it could do with far less oil. Overall a lovely Sun brunch. Easy parking on the sides. Will def be back for more. —- UPDATE: came here a second time for pancakes and also ordered some sides. Pancakes were done just right without too much chocolate chips. I specifically requested and reiterated thrice that my side fry of mushrooms, onions and spinach be done with less oil. They however still came drenched and dripping in oil. Why do you need that much oil?

My boyfriend and I visited while on our anniversary trip and we’re still talking about it a week later! We sat outside to enjoy the weather and the inside was also very packed (Sunday afternoon). The cinnamon roll pancakes were so good and bigger than we imagined. The berry fruit bowl was refreshing. Our server, Mercedes, was awesome! She checked on us multiple times and gave us great recommendations on places to visit that we ended up having a great time at later on in the day. Shakers Cafe is now a requirement every time we’re in Orlando!

Amazing atmosphere and kids friendly place with definitely 💯 delicious tasty breakfast 🍳 and very welcoming staff , i would recommend the hash corned beef and turkey bacon and the pancakes were such a fluff melts in mouth , reminds me of japanese buttery pancakes 🥞, also i got a fruit cup for my baby and i was very impressed they didn’t bring me the slimy standard fruit cup we get even in fancier places but they have impressed us with a fresh cut of pineapple 🍍 and cantaloupe and melon and big red grapes 🍇 that my little one has enjoyed, and I don’t remember the name of another delicious meal we got but the picture attached will tell you how great the quality of food in there , this will be our spot for family weekends and specials 🥰i want to thank everyone there from chef to waitresses to the lady who welcomed us for the great quality atmosphere you have presented, and i could see it in all guests over there they were happy and smiling, keep the amazing work going 💪 We didn’t forget to order the warm cinnamon roll and christmassy flavor of hot chocolate! Top !🥰

Super cute diner! Salt and pepper shakers adorn the walls, makeshift shelves, and windowsills. The wait staff was so pleasant. Our waitress Mercedez was a true gem!!

The atmosphere is not bad, just very small. The breakfast however was very fresh & tastey and worth the drive. Tuna sandwhich was slammin as well.

Once you see the inside, everything will make sense! Great food! The regular chicken sandwich is superb, cinnamon rolls come out steaming. Just fantastic. Wife had the avocado toast and said that was amazing.

I love to come to Orlando and visit Frm Tampa …I found this spot on google and I really enjoyed my breakfast my corn beef hash was cooked soooo good browned so perfect and I loved all the different salt & pepper shakers that was all around the restaurant ☺️

First time there and it was great. I had the roast beef with mayo and onion and was shocked that they made it just like I would. Wife had the original chicken salad and she never had a curry type chicken and she loved it, too. Nice people, nice atmosphere, this is a dive type of place that rocks. Go git some.

Went twice before and everything was great, my wife and I went yesterday and not so much. We were greated by the owner who mentioned she remembered us from the previous week and sat us promptly, off to great start. 30 seconds after a 3 top was sat directly next to us, and another older gentleman was sat as well. 2 separate staff members came to them first, took their drink orders, about 3-5 minutes pass and they get brought their drinks. Another 3-5 minutes go by and now their food orders are being taken, few tables empty and place is slowing down. Still nobody has came to our table to great us or take our drink order. After about 15-20 minutes of waiting, we decided to leave. We tip very well usually 25 to 30 percent, our last visit I tipped the waitress $20. We ended up at hammered lamb which was a way better experience and the food was better as well. Not sure that we'll be back to shakers. Was very displeased with being acknowledged by the owner for returning and than being treated like we did not even exist by the staff.

Had a chicken salad sandwich for lunch that was pretty good, but then went back for breakfast and VERY disappointed with their biscuits and gravy. I literally have had the same gravy and similar biscuits at hotel. Was told the egg looked like a hotel egg, bit wasn't bad. I usually judge a place on their biscuits and gravy, but while I would not recommend the biscuits and gravy, I'd recommend their chicken salad sandwich.

I’m a big breakfast guy. I love coming here every once in a while with my girl and enjoy a nice big breakfast. The cinnamon rolls are to die for. I usually stick to the meat lovers omelette. Great food, great service great atmosphere.

We visited this restaurant for lunch and found it bustling, which initially made me worry about the wait time. Typically, I prefer a quick lunch experience. However, to my pleasant surprise, we were seated almost immediately, and our food arrived swiftly thereafter. The meal was outstanding. I chose the Greek salad with potato salad, deciding against adding protein. It was both satisfying and wonderfully flavorful.

Food was good but very overpriced for the quality and quantity.

Cute little locally owned breakfast/lunch place, decorated in salt/pepper shakers! What a fun concept. Overall, the food was good, I had an omelette with avocado cheese and bacon. I really enjoyed that. Their menu looks bigger than it but has your breakfast staples. I loved the plethora of specials they had on the way! Exciting options to try. Personally, I was not a fan of the home fries, only eating half. They look so much better than they tasted. Nevertheless, I would still come back. As for the restaurant, like I said, it is garnished with salt and pepper shakers of all different styles. The layout is 2 and 4 seat table style but doesn't have a bar, unfortunately. Early afternoon on the weekend seemed to be a great time as they had plenty of patrons but also no wait time. Overall, This is a great place for a 2 or 4 person breakfast/lunch looking for some good food and home style breakfast.

This is an amazing breakfast, brunch and lunch place. The prices are fair, food is amazing and service is exceptional. You can’t go wrong with any of the breakfast items, I highly recommended the cinnamon roll pancakes. We love that they also offer turkey sausage and turkey bacon.

Best sandwiches in college park

The fans, windows, ect were dirty and needed to be clean. The sour cream had went bad. Also all the dishes had chips in them. But, my food was good.also the salt and pepper shakers needed to be cleaned. I wanted to give it a 4. But, only part of my food were good.

I used to order here a lot during covid and the food was good. Not sure what happened with the quality. It was really busy given it is a weekend but I was disappointed in the food. It was almost inedible with the exception of the omelet. The omelet was ok but lacked flavor and seasoning. Everything else was undercooked. The grits weren’t cooked well and seemed to be filled with lots of water, it had a soupy consistency. I ended up throwing majority of the food away. I will unlikely visit again. Paid about $20 for breakfast. The place is also very small.

I am usually not a huge salad person but I could eat their salads for breakfast lunch and dinner!! Absolutely the best I’ve ever had! Do yourself the favor and try the fall salad and the blackened chicken Caesar!

We have been going to Shakers for over 20 years. Best chicken salad sandwich in town. Cabbage soup to die for. Must must must try their chocolate macadamia cookies with a delightful cup of coffee. Every plate is garnished with fresh fruit.

Themed after salt and pepper shakers! They have them displayed everywhere, and a diferent set at every table. They use the original menu because the owners swore to never change it, but they suppliment this with a special board full of great and creative options! Service was friendly and the coffee was actually great! My only complaint is I couldn't swap my bread out for something.. not a huge deal, but it's an allergy, and I would have loved an option for gluten free or a small upcharge for fruit or something. It was also kind of expensive, I spent about $40 with tip for two custom (moderately constructed) omelets and 2 coffees. That's just today's prices but still hard to stomach! Nice place to sit outside as well - cool ambiance.

With all the good reviews we were expecting something special. What we got was good (not great, but solidly good) food, great service in an overcrowded noisy room where we literally had to be careful how we moved our arms to eat so we wouldn’t elbow a server or customer squeezing by. Might eat there again, if it’s convenient and they’re not busy, but we won’t be driving very far for it.

Shaker’s is our “go-to” venue for Sunday morning breakfast. The food is always great, service is second to none, and despite being often very busy, we’re never rushed.

You can get a better breakfast at Burger King. Way over priced, bland food, service was slow. This place needs new management. Many other places to enjoy breakfast. I feel like I just wasted a lot of money and a good hour of my life that I will never get back. If you are considering going here, trust me- do not!

Loved the S&P shaker collection. The food was plentiful and delicious. I'm a big guy and couldn't finish the triple decker style club sandwich.

First time eating here and the food was amazing! I had a delicious salad that had mixed greens, broccoli and cauliflower florets, mushrooms, tomatoes, sunflower seeds and raisins. Very ample portion. The house made apple cider dressing was so delicious. My companion got brioche toast, sausage, scrambled eggs and home fries and gave it two thumbs up. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be going back again!

This is a great local breakfast and lunch place. The staff were all really nice, the food was excellent and the prices were reasonable. Bring your appetite and your sweet tooth and order the hot cinnamon roll. WOW! It took 4 of us, but we ate it all.

I went for breakfast. If you are looking for a traditional American breakfast in a traditional American diner this would be a good choice. Almost always crowded when I have visited but you never have too long for a table.

Way over priced. $5 for cup of coffee and the same for a glass of orange juice.

Great place and good value too. Lots of homemade goodies. Great menu.
