Enjoyed a great bottle if wine, enjoyed the art gallery

Love silver Coast winery. Have been going here for a couple years now and the nicest people and best wine. It's a beautiful place and plenty of gorgeous rooms to enjoy your delicious wine. They have red and white wine and Rose. You can do a tasting. Staff is friendly and polite. My favorite is calabash white. They are all hand made by Dana. Come try some wine and you will love it. Outside is beautiful as well as inside and you can even get married in one of the beautiful rooms. I would recommend 5 stars.

I am giving a one star to this location on Howe St. in South Port. On July 4th we visited this location during a July 4th celebration. We asked for a wine slushy and was told they were still making them. Then we asked a $6.50 beer (price was posted ) when checking out, we were charged $10.00 for a red solo cup size drink. When we asked why, we were told that the prices posted were wrong. (False advertising) The man behind the counter taking our payment appeared to be drinking himself. Thank God we paid with cash. Everyone needs to check their debt card and CC statements. One other time we visited this establishment to get a wine slushy, we were told they were still making them. Is the wine slushy a thing or a gimmick?

Always an uplifting positive experience! Delicious quality wines, samples of vinegars and oils, cozy rooms and outdoor to relax and sip wine and the hospitality us always very personable. What more can I say. Oh yes. Varied gift shop including a variety of artists' works

The wine is great and I love coming for the author events.

Myself and my family come down every year for vacation and every year we make sure to stop at Silver Coast. Their wines are flavorful and well crafted. Several bottles always come home with me, and I have also shipped some on occasion. The price is very reasonable for such delicioua wines. Highly recommend visiting the Barbeque Road location.

Enjoyed a wonderful afternoon here. Friendly staff with a very pleasant setting and the wines are surprisingly good as well.

We were there on a nice Tuesday afternoon. My wife and our friends all enjoyed a glass of wine while I had two beers. We sat outside in the shade and had a very enjoyable afternoon with friends.

This winery was nothing short of amazing! I found them through Harvest Hosts and am so glad I did. Great selection of European-style wines. A warm welcome and very helpful with selecting a bottle. A food truck with shrimp tacos to die for. A peaceful night's sleep in my campervan. And DOG FRIENDLY to boot! What more could you ask for?

Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The wine was good. We brought snacks and a small picnic to enjoy a few bottles. I'd recommend this stop to anyone nearby.

Very nice. Non-commercialized. Personal. Wonderful 2 hour stop - could have stayed longer. Nice wines. If I was picky, snacks could be better (fruit, nuts, jams, etc - less processed junk). Thank you!

They ARE open!!! The time will be fixed. Open daily 12-5 as far as I know. Great staff and wine maker. Wines surprised me. Liked a few that I don’t normally like. Worth the out of the way drive for the experience and wine. Just do it. And, yes, they are open.

Nice selection and unlike many NC wineries, offer dry wines as well as the mandatory sweet ones. A little cliquey though.

This is a fantastic winery with friendly staff and great indoor and outdoor spaces. I'd highly recommend trying the Touriga - a wonderful earthy red wine.

Made an unplanned stop here on our way home from Myrtle Beach. This is a very nice winery with plenty of room to stretch out and relax. We sat outside and enjoyed a glass of wine and some cheese and crackers to break up our trip. We met some nice folks who frequent this winery and they have us a lot of information about it and the area. We really enjoyed our visit and hope to go back soon.

I went for my very 1st Wine Tasting on November 27th and I Thoroughly Enjoyed Myself. I was fortunate Enough To Be There when over 60 vendors were there on the same day. I was visiting a Dear Friend that lives in Oak Island and I suggested we go! Huge Fan! The Hospitality was Impeccable!!!!

Such an amazing stop when in the area! Great wine, cute location, love their connection to local artists. The bartenders always give so much info on local flavor (both the wine and things to do / places to eat). Highly recommend!

I absolutely love this place! We go to Sunset Beach every year for vacation and sipping the Seyval Blanc is a MUST!! Such a quaint establishment... everyone is so friendly. The owner has even taken us on a tour of the facility before and took time to show us how they make the wine.

We just left and I had to leave a review right away. AMAZING experience. We’ve never done a wine tasting before and it was so much fun. The employees were all so nice and helpful, the wines and cheese were amazing, and we loved viewing all of the artwork. Susan was so kind to take pictures of us at the winery as well. We bought a bottle to take home and can’t wait to go back!

Wanted to visit a working winery, not a tasting room, near MB. This is the place !! Nice drive, not too far, relaxing locale. Friendly and informed service, surprisingly diverse wine selection, all tasty !! A relaxing and enjoyable experience we highly recommend as worth the drive, and then some !!

Fantastic winery, gracious host and wonderful time. An array of wines to taste from light, crispy whites to holiday reds. I found an interesting white was aged in stainless barrels that had a green apple tart with hints of pear and honey. This bottle had to come home with me!

We just left and I had to leave a review. All of the wines were FANTASTIC. We came in as soon as they opened and the whole building is absolutely beautiful; I wish I had seen this place when I was planning my wedding. We had Laura as our bartender and she was just the sweetest thing and even recommended some places to stop along on our vacation. We saw this winery in the N.C. winery brochure we got from another vineyard and it was well worth the trip! Only thing I regret is not stopping by here sooner!

Awesome place. Great wine and in the "back" room they rotate local artists works. Wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces for a picnic. I've been numerous times and love how the grapes and tastes change from vintage to vintage and their labels are from local artists too. It's off the beaten path but worth the trip down the gravel road.

Want a taste of 2 wines to decide which to buy. The place was empty. They told me I hade to buy a tasting. I walked out. Place was pretty, but they lost my business.

Loved it. The wine is a bit dryer than I would prefer but it was all still pretty good. Nice location though in the middle of nowhere. Do a wine tasting for $8 or $12 (5 or 10 tastes) then grab a bottle of wine and a cheese plate. Nice rocking chairs outside but if it is too hot, you can sit inside and check out the local art they have up and for sale.

Best winery/tastings we have ever had! Beautiful atmosphere and location!

We stopped in while window shopping in Southport, and are so glad that we did. We decided to start with a half flight of wine and then expanded to the full flight once we realized how delicious and high-quality the wines are. Everyone in this establishment was super friendly, laid back, and knowledgeable about the products. We had such a great time just chatting and experiencing each wine, and we even sampled a beer and a cranberry cider. We ended up taking home two cases of assorted wine/beer/cider. I hope to come back next year when we are in the area!

The wine is fantastic and barrel aged on site. Do both tastings if you have the time! The artwork is fun to look at but a bit pricey.
