Fantastic service and Great food.

Update: 8/2024 Still my happy place with constantly excellent food snd service. This IS my happy place! Thank you for years of comfort burnt ends and brisket!!! I have never had a disappointing experience here The staff is always friendly, the food is always delicious and the portions are always excellent!!! All meat is smoked daily. They close when they run out of it all. However, I have never come and found them closed.

I took some friends from out of town there because I heard it was good BBQ, We got there at about 5pm on a Monday and they had no ribs ,no brisket, no pulled pork no apology! The kid running the establishment acted like it was no big deal that they had ran out of so many items before dinner time. Went to Buckingham BBQ where they had plenty of everything! Smokin Bobs was a joke and won't bother going there ever again.

Everything here is straight up bangin. The pork belly burnt ends are life changing and everything else was amazing. Fair prices that are frankly too low for the excellence they offer. You won't find another place to eat like this. The smoked mac and cheese is good af and that potato salad slaps hard. If I had one complaint it's that I didn't see green beans or fried okra. The side options are limited but damn good. This place is an easy 10/10. The staff are great and you can tell the moment you walk in that they aren't there for the money, they're there to serve the best damn food I ever put in my mouth.

First, we literally ordered everything except for dessert. Overall I was impressed. Shame you only get one side with your meal. So to save you some trouble... The only side you ever need is that cheesy corn. It is phenomenal. The only real disappointment was the chicken. They put so much flavor into the ribs, the brisket and the pork; yet it felt like the bland chicken was an after thought as the flavor was not on par with the rest of the meats.

Always the best BBQ in Springfield! Everything tastes great and is fresh. And their cheese corn and beans are especially delicious sides. Always our go to for a group meal at the house when we don’t have time to cook or grill.

I live in KC and get plenty of great bbq. Came here with low expectations. The burnt ends were amazing, both beef and pork.

Ribs and shredded pork were very good; sides were just meh.

The food was bland and poorly cooked when asked how much will be over phone they refused to answer and found out it was 30$ per person which is not what wouldve paid considering the food was nothing to write home about.

I've loved this place in the past and it's been a while since I've been here. I looked online before coming to make sure it was within budget and when I got to the shop the prices were way higher.

Food is good , enough to fill you up ,but you receive your food on a small piece of aluminum foil ,not a plate, and you carry it to the table ,then your asked for a 15% tip, if they delivered the food maybe

The food is good. The pork belly burnt ends are awesome. The sauce is caramelized and crunchy on the outside, perfect. The beef burnt ends were tender and juicy, but I didn't appreciate the sauce they used, just my opinion.

My sister and I went to Smokin' Bobs yesterday and had a phenomenal lunch. I ordered the burnt ends sandwich while she ordered the brisket sandwich. Both were outstanding! Not only was the food great, the service was excellent as well. The next time I am in town I will definitely be coming back to visit.

The food is unbelievable especially the pork belly burnt ends. The warm sides were all great as well, smoked corn, smoked beans, and smoked Mac and cheese. The guys were very friendly and helpful. Great prices! The only downside was the dining room is very small.

super good bbq.. they got pork belly burnt ends that are sweet and ohh so good.. smoked potato salad was really great.. the brisket was perfect.. they got the sauces on the tables.. thr place was clean at lunch time..for two people plan to spend about $30-40..

I went here for a business lunch today and it was great! The beef tips were so good and I had the smokey cheesy corn and it was delicious as well. Then, I brought dessert - smoky blueberry cheesecake back to the office. It is good. It's different and at first when you get that smoke flavor, it's like, "what the heck......." and then you get the cheesecake. And the blueberries were huge!

The burnt ends were delicious but cold.Would have given 5 if hot. Beans were very good and hot: had a nice kick. Potato salad had a nice smoky flavor.

I’m from Kansas City traveled I don’t know how many times in Springfield I came up on this place trade it I can’t wait to get back if you’re traveling through Springfield and you like some good old barbecue and you don’t try this place it’s your own darn fault I’m from a barbecue town or Lisa’s what they tell me from Kansas City This is some damn good barbecue

Really good BBQ. The sides are amazing and Smokey. Ribs are fall of the bone which is technically overdone according to the KCBS but let’s be honest they taste better and are easier to eat that way. Highly recommend.

We eat here every few weeks when we are in the mood for some BBQ and don't want to make it ourselves, this place has never disappointed. It's always on point in flavor and taste, I would highly recommend trying them out, but go early, especially on a weekend cause they do have a tendency to sell out.

Any time I'm in Springfield, this is a destination that's on my must do list. The beef burnt ends, beans and smoked mac n cheese what I have to have.

Boyfriend and I got bbq here a while back- the sides are to die for and the smoked cheesecake is delicious! Totally try it. Also make sure to ask for a pickle- they're really good!

I recently visited Smokin' Bob's and I'm so glad I did! The ribs were absolutely amazing, and the BBQ sauce was delicious. The restaurant was very clean, and the service was very polite. Prices were decent, and the portions were very generous. I will definitely be coming back!

Honestly, if I could give them negative stars for customer service I would. Out of the three times I’ve tried to get food from them they have been rude and dismissive. This last attempt, which will be my final attempt was the worst. I called them 20 minutes before their closing time and their words when answering the phone were (in a very dismissive way) “thank you for calling! We are all sold out of food for the night so what can I help you with!” I’m sorry but how can you seriously be out of every single piece of food when your a restaurant. That’s like a lumber mill being out of wood, or an ice cream parlor being it of ice cream. Like seriously how do you have a business where you have to answer the phone and say “hello we sell food here but we are completely out of food so what else can I get for you tonight?” Ummmmm seriously what else did you think I was calling you for? Duh!! Like what I’m supposed to be like “oh dang honey they don’t have food here at this one, but good thing we were calling them to get a ride somewhere and not to order dinner for the night otherwise we really would have been S.O.L.

Very good food, all the major bbq choices that any good bbq joint would offer. Friendly staff with prompt service. One great gem I discovered was the smoke blueberry cheesecake slice they offer as one of the desserts. It was very good and definitely unique. In order for me to rate any establishment with 5 stars it would have to be perfect in every area. SMOKIN Bob's is a very good option for BBW so if you haven't tried it then I would highly recommend to trying them again least once, k think you'll be pleased with your decision after you give it a try!

The food was great many flavors of sauces to dress delicious cuts of meat the brisket, ribs and pulled pork were absolutely to die for. The smoked cheesy corn was rich in flavor. The smoked mac and cheese was great too, something I've never had before. 10/10 will go back! Really good prices.

Beef burnt ends are my favorite!!! Super juicy, with a bit of crust on the outside makes them almost addictive. Cheesy corn is an awesome side. Staff are genuinely warm and you can tell that they are proud of their craft. This is my go to spot for bbq, and I don’t think that will change any time soon!!!

The smell of smoked meat hits the second you step in the door. The brisket, pulled pork, and pork belly are tender and full of the smoke flavor. The staff is friendly and helpful. They also have a smoked blueberry cheesecake that is the nectar of the gods. Only thing I can imagine complaining about is that they are open until they sell out so sometimes its hard to get what you want.

Don't know what type of meat you BBQ but it's the WORSE meat I've ever had!!! Your so-call Mac&Cheese is also terrible!! Will never come back! Will also tell anyone else NOT TO GO THERE!!! Still trying to figure out the meat! Didn't taste or look like PORK!

First time to try after having seen great reviews. OMG, after our lunch, we couldn't leave before taking home more brisket and Burnt Ends! Then figured we needed to get ribs too or we'd probably have been sorry. Definitely would have been! This is incredible BBQ and the staff is caring and genuinely.

Great place! Greeted when we came in, menu explained and, then, samples! Pork belly was out of this world delicious...same for the pulled pork. Sauces were all fabulous, but just "the frosting on the cake" ...we'll be back with our friends. 😊

Smoking Bob's was excellent. We got there about 6 and they were out of all meat but brisket and burnt ends. My favorites! Get there early. The smoked sides were awesome. Cheese corn, potatoes salad and Mac n cheese. We'll be back.

Fan-tastic BBQ! Get the pulled pork nachos, the brisket, or whatever you like, just get there before they sell out. I've never had anything that wasn't amazing.

Stopped by for a rib or two n burnt ends for dinner after work around 4. They were out of both so I settled for the pulled pork, was not impressed. Not sure if I'll try n catch the illusive ribs n ends or not, seems like too much effort when there are plenty of choices in Springfield for BBQ that doesn't run out of menu items.

Our friends at Pitbull Powersports highly recommended this place as they know I’m from TN and cook a lot of BBQ. Our crew walked in, didn’t know the flow and told the guys this was our first go at Bob’s. The “ red carpet” immediately rolled out in the form of sample burnt ends and pork belly! They then gave us a quick overview of their pit and suggested local favorites. Between the three of us, we had brisket, ribs, ends, belly, cheese corn, smoked potato salad, smoked cheesecake….. Good stuff! Their sauces are awesome too. Hats off to the staff, first and foremost! Great food made even better by the Bob’s team! Thanks for the recommendation, Vanessa! We’ll be back

I went there today on a friends recommendation and to my surprise I was not disappointed. It was some amazing bbq that I’ve had period. I had the brisket, ribs, burnt ends and the meat candy pork belly burnt ends. It’s an out of body experience. Very good bbq some of the best period no doubt. It was all moist and juicy. I highly recommend smoking bobs bbq I’m a fan and will return for sure..!! Go get you some…!!!

THE BEST BBQ IN TOWN, forget Whole Hog, and Buckinghams, and don't even waste your time driving to Headys in republic, Smokin Bob's is the best dang BBQ I have ever had, their Pulled Pork Fully loaded Nachos (I prefer it spicy with the pickled Jalapeños) is my personal favorite, the Burnt ends are awesome as well, if there was ONE thing I could pick to eat every day from smoking bobs though? The Smoked Mac and Cheese, or the Smoked Blueberry Cheese cake. Seriously, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this amazing local restaurant.
