This is my go to location ALWAYS!!! The staff is generally always super nice and down to earth. They get the order out QUICK and always seem to have a teamwork attitude. The store is ALWAYS clean and organized when I visit. You can tell the ladies that were there today like working there and get along! They were super sweet and made sure I knew about the promo and left with a coupon for my next visit...because of course there will be another visit!!

I had Destiny service me and my experience was really great! She took her time and even recommended some great flavors. I would definitely come back!

I visited the store and the worker was sweeping, she put the broom away she asked for my order but she didn’t was her hands and then she had an attitude when I asked to add more ice because I wanted it to be thick

I was very glad & excited to get a smoothie. Something healthy. With my new job a couple of doors down, I was looking forward to buying a smoothie every day, to try to motivate myself to eat healthier & lose weight. Destiny was extremely nasty, hateful & disrespectful for no reason at all. Her excuse was, because the customer service was really slow, & she was tired & ready to go home. I had JUST gotten off from work, myself. No matter how tired, I would NEVER act rude to an innocent customer at my job, because I'm "tired". She made me feel like I don't want to come back to this location EVER again! & it didn't phase her for me to tell her that I will contact the manager. She was working by herself.

I don’t know the girl’s name but I don’t like her attitude at all. She’s never friendly, never greets me, never says hi or bye or anything for that matter. It makes the wait uncomfortable. And every single time I order a chocolate hulk it’s never right. It’s overly chocolatey, overpowering the other flavors. It just doesn’t taste right. Not like the other locations.

This use to be my favorite store but dess has a nasty attitude she usually closes at night but she is rude I will most definitely find somewhere to spend my coins.

As a small business owner and someone with more than two decades of retail/hospitality/customer service experience, I’m reluctant to leave this negative review for this business. I typically give workers the benefit of the doubt because of how poorly they’re usually treated by most customers nowadays but today I’m compelled. I was the only customer in the store this morning when I walked in. The employee who was finishing up a delivery order saw me but never said a word. Not even a smile or anything to acknowledge that I had just walked in. I stood at the register for a couple of minutes until she walked over and still nothing. I broke the arkward silence by greeting her with good morning, how’re you doing today. She then replied “what can I get for you.” I ordered a spinach pineapple powermeal but they were out of spinach so I ordered a muscle punch instead. I asked for a kids cup on the side and she told me it was only ten ounces and wasn’t going to do anything but ok. And gave a nice eye roll too. She doesn’t know that I’m bringing this smoothie to share with my mother who is in the hospital barely eating and almost died last week but hey there’s my benefit of the doubt. Once she finished making the smoothie, she sat it on the counter with the extra cup I requested and quickly turned her back to me without saying a word. I then told her that I hope her day gets better as I picked up my items and left. This employee clearly didn’t want to be bothered or at work today and was giving off a negative vibe throughout the store. This visit was in direct contrast to the one I had the other day when J/Jay assisted me. She was polite and conversational while making me four smoothies. I was the only customer in the store that day too. We all have bad days so I’m willing to give this store another try but I’ll happily take my business to another franchise location if have another experience like this. If you don’t feel like being at work then maybe you should stay home. I intentionally left your name out of this review so here’s your second chance to do better going forward and I genuinely hope you have a better day and find some peace to whatever you may be going through.

We always stop here when we visit New Orleans. We make sure to get our smoothie when we are leaving. Staff is nice, service is quick. I love the fact that they have vegan protein available if you want to add it to your smoothie.

First of all I want to say that as a person who works in customer service I know there can be difficult days but, come on guys !!!! The customer service in this store is lousy and if there was a different word to define it I would use it, the girl with glasses was unable to even say hello or use any gentle words, she seemed annoyed all the time with everyone, the manager strongly needs to do an inspection to his store, people pay for the smoothie and also for the experience, and based on my experience I will not go back, there are many other stores with better customer service.

Not a good location for customer service. Location closes at 8:00 but 10 minutes prior, they would only sell one flavor because “everything is closed out.” Mind you, all fruits and other ingredients were there in the serving area.

Employee Destiny refused to make smoothie bowl on two separate occasions. She stated she doesn’t make bowls when she’s in the store by herself. Mind you I was the only customer in the store. Horrible customer service!!

I work close by so I stopped in a bit after 9:00am on Thursday- tried to open the door but the 3 employees yelled “we’re closed” from behind the counter… The hours on the door AND website clearly say they open at 9:00- I wouldn’t have wasted my few minutes before work to even stop there if I knew they were closed. I only work in that area on Wed and Thurs- so they can’t try to use the excuse that the hours are different on Friday… IT WAS THURSDAY! I think it’s a shame businesses complain about guests when they are the reason reviews like this are written… UPDATE YOUR HOURS if you’re not going to abide by the ones you have listed- I surely couldn’t do that if you came in to my place of employment! Just laziness all around- thanks for nothing- word of mouth goes a LONG WAY- that’s probably why you have to bring free smoothies to the hospital… maybe you would have more business if you just opened at the correct times you have posted! BAD SERVICE!!!

I've never been the biggest fan of smoothie king but this place makes me love smoothie king. The store itself isn't too big but the store is always well kept, clean and well stocked. They have all the usual menu items and the staff is so nice!! Would recommend!

Terrible service!! They seem to hate their job and every customer that comes through.

Yesterday I purchased a Island Impact smoothie and it was horrible. The guy who made it did not blend it down enough so what I got was a 40oz snowball cup of chunky pineapple and crushed ice. Unfortunately for me, I was on my way to Lafayette LA., and didn’t take a sip until I was halfway to Laplace. I guess there’s a first time for anything, even a smoothie.

Most disappointing Smoothie King experience ever!! The store closes at 9pm. I pulled up directly in front of the store at 8:45pm. The lights were still on and the open sign was still posted. I got out of my truck and started walking to the front door. The employee behind the register watches me walking up to the front door and immediately runs to turn the interior lights off. I stop outside of the front door and she yells that they are closed. This was extremely rude on her part and not the service I've come to expect from any of the Smoothie Kings. And just for transparency, this is the first time I've ever reviewed a business with only 1 star.

One of the friendliest and nicest staffs in the city for Smoothie King. They all seem happy to be there and help. This is a rare thing to find especially with a younger staff. The taste of the smoothies are better here too for some reason. I guess when your staff cares it shines through everything.

This crew is the best! Went with my son today to order 13 smoothies. The girl up front gathered the rest of the crew in the back and they got all 13 done quickly, efficiently, and kindly! The store was very clean. The staff couldn't have been kinder. Thank you so much to Miranda, Lilli, Alexis, and Callie!!

Torie is by far the best. She always greets me with a huge “HEY WECOME IN” and a smile, even though i can’t see it because of the mask, it warms my heart every time. Callie is super sweet and makes me laugh, my pineapple surf is always delicious. Alexis gives me the yummiest recommendations. Dustin always makes my smoothie super quick with ease. I LOVE THIS LOCATION!!! my FAVORITE!!

This is my favorite Smoothie King in the Metairie/NOLA area. They get it right every time. I like the fact that regardless of whom is preparing your order it will always taste the same. The store also has a variety of healthy choices to choose from.

Hands down the best location to visit in southern Louisiana. Drinks always made perfect & every employee is glad to be helping. Just not something you get everywhere these days

I have never had better service then I receive from this Smoothie King location! The staff is Super Friendly and Helpful! Extremely knowledgeable about their products as well. Each member of the staff takes the time to learn my name, and remembers it each time I go in, as well as my order (I must admit, I get the same smoothie every time)! They honestly make my day better just by how much they obviously love their Job! This 100% reflects the Amazing store manager they have leading them!!

They're $5 Friday smoothies are a great deal and tastes awesome

I love my smoothies no complains. Just wonder how they changed certain $5 smoothies on Friday's to a dollar more because of a protein. I think it's bull. Banana boat and yougurt delight been a smoothie I've been buying for years on smoothie Friday for $5 bucks and all of a sudden it's a smoothie that has a protein. Maybe next time I'll ask without the protein lol

My very first smoothie ever was at the Clearview Palms Smoothie King in 1989. I've given these people my money ever since. I just wish that the corporate people who go around to the franchise stores, (which all of them are), would do quality checks on the smoothies. Too many Smoothie Kings outside of south Louisiana make inferior smoothies. Something could be done, no? Besides upselling, maybe quality control to ensure return business? Maybe? No? Ok.
