Delicious sandwiches get the grilled cheese

Went for breakfast following a local recommendation. We were lucky we had some cash on us because they don't take card, we would have had to go elsewhere otherwise. When we sat down for breakfast it took 55 minutes to get our food, which was pretty rough with a hungry toddler. There was no explanation or reassurance from the wait staff for the delay, so I'm not sure if this is just a normal occurrence. I got the breakfast burrito which was okay. The potatoes were crispy inside but there wasn't much seasoning on the eggs or veg. The wife got the biscuits and gravy. While the biscuits were fluffy and quite good, the gravy didn't taste like it was seasoned or had much flavor to it at all, despite being really rich and creamy. Maybe lunch is a little better, as that is what our recommendation was to get, but we will not be returning here again.

Only open until 2, but man, the food is excellent, prices are great, staff is awesome.

We traveled 30 miles to eat here as the website advertises open at 7:30 am just to get there at 8:30 to find it was closed. There were other customers there as well wondering why they were not open.

This place is a hidden gem. We came from out of town and are happy we came across this local spot. Everything we ate was delicious. It is cash only but the prices are very reasonable.

If you don't order the homemade toast and jelly you're doing it wrong

A quaint spot to sip some smooth coffee, while you read some hilarious signage around the bar, and wait for the delicious food. We enjoyed the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, and a Bacon Cheese Burger, both came on an amazing bun with hot crispy fries. And we didn't regret taking home a Buffalo Chicken Wrap along with Cheese Curds and a bowl of their Beef Stroganoff Soup du jour. A great place to check out if you are hungry in this area.

We just had breakfast it was so delicious! We went back everyday until we had to head back home from our mini UP vacation. The staff and the locals made us feel welcome. PS you had me with your homemade bread toast and homemade jam!

I can't say enough good things about this establishment. They were packed. There apparently was a winter event happening near by that they were unaware of. There was one waitress...that's it! You would have never known it!! I watched her run around and take great care of all the customers in the restaurant, answer the phone everytime it rang, ring people up, deliver food to tables, wipe down tables, clean up messes....she did everything but cook!! The food was DELICIOUS!! Order anything on the menu, you can't go wrong. I loved the biscuits and gravy and the French toast. The garbage omelet and the dumpster platter were delicious as well....yes that's the name on the menu...it's a fun place. They have wi-fi as well!! Cash or check only...we had to drive to the ATM to get money but would do it 100 times to eat there.

Delicious!!!! Everything was soooo good, from the perfectly cooked omelette, to the homemade toast with homemade strawberry jam. Just can’t be beat. One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had! Going to buy some of their jam to take home. Great place to eat!

Bring cash as they do not take cards, but you won't have to bring a ton because their prices are pretty awesome. Breakfast is stellar here, but don't skip lunch or dinner. Outstanding sandwiches and burgers. And dessert? Ooooh, boy, is it tasty and varied. Don't miss out on this hidden little gem.

Diamond in the rough. Great food and great deal. Staff is amazing and it was easy to get to by trail. Definitely recomend, only draw back, Cash Only. That said I rate it at an A overall.

Local restaurant with great food! We were in the area visiting and found this gem. It is managed by two really nice ladies and you can tell all the locals go there because of their hospitality. The breakfast was really good, pancake was huge and delicious! It is a bit tricky to find but it’s right across the school

Very very very, good homemade soups, desserts, and Bread. Also this place has awesome food and very affordable I would suggest stopping in here for anyone who is going through the area as well as people who live by the area the owners are very hard working people and need to raise their prices on the menu that's about the only thing I would change is the prices cause you can't even get fast food for that cheap other then that I have nothing bad to say or complain about they are awesome here

My family absolutely loves this restaurant! It's clean, well taken care of, and the food is really good. They welcome families and have sippy cups, toddler silverware, and potty seats in their bathrooms. I have never been to another restaurant that provides any of those things. They have easily accommodated our large family get-togethers and the food always comes out in a timely matter. It is cash or check only, so make sure you come prepared. There is an ATM nearby if needed. Stop by if you're in the area, you won't regret it!!

Thank you Eben Snack Bar for a great brunch today! What awsome food, perfect for getting ready to hike to the Eben Ice Caves. Very good prices, I can't believe how much food they gave us for $7.99 meals! If anyone goes to the caves, you have to stop at the Snack Bar in Eben Junction, MI even if it is just to get their homemade bread and strawberry jam. It was so good, my sister and I each bought a loaf and jar to take with us.

Very good breakfast, which we had twice while visiting Munising. Super clean and friendly service. I will miss their dumpster breakfast dish.
