Located along Lancaster Ave in Malvern, I visited this store during my visit to Buffet closer. The store is good size, not huge like other Indian groceries. But they have all the items that you will typically need. I shopped for oil, veggies, and some spices. The owner is a very friendly person and assisted me in finding the items and a nice person to talk to. The location has a shared parking lot, and you should be good to find one. They do have cooked food available for purchase and a good collection of frozen varieties. It's definitely worth visiting this grocery place. Give it a try !!!

BEWARE!!! CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATE BEFORE BUYING ANY ITEMS. I have a habit of checking expiration date for any items I buy anywhere. I recently went to this store and took tea box and checked ed and it was expired in 2023.Then went to pick Castrol oil which got expired in 2022. Each and every item including wheat flour was expired. I wish they had 0 star option REPLY TO OWNER: Your respond doesn’t make sense. No one buys any item knowing that it’s expired. I mention that most items got expired in 2022 and 2023 when I came to shop in 2024. What’s the use in checking expiration dates when items got expired year(s) back?. It is always your responsibility to make a note and check if you have expired items in shelves. My review is definitely gonna be useful for people who come and buy items in your store. I believe this review helps them to check the expiration dates before buying. ITS A SHAME THAT YOU DON’T EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE OR APOLOGIZE FOR YOUR MISTAKE and Instead blaming my review

Vegan-friendly!!: I just came from visiting this store for the first time and was instantly greeted by the owner & co, guided to grab the item I’d come for (Kala namak) and then given freedom to explore. In my past trips to other small marts, I’ve been disappointed to see how dusty and unloved all the items usually are. NOT HERE! Every item looked brand new, well-lit, and the mart is pristine. What most impressed me was the owner gathering that I may be vegan went to check if he had other items I may enjoy. He offered suggestions without it feeling pushy, and we even chatted a bit about how sad we are that a neighboring vegan restaurant just closed. I will absolutely be back to continue supporting this wonderful store.

Fantastic little grocery with an incredible amount of variety and stock. They've recently started carrying a lot of vegan options and clearly labeling them which is incredible. I highly recommend the vegan masala chai and any of the chiki. Great amount of spices and dal and the prices always seem way too cheap. Owner and staff are unbelievably kind. If they have fresh samosas out, get them or it'll be a long car ride home!

They have lots of organic options for dals and spices. Quite a selection. They are my go to place for fresh pumpkin (the savory kind with dark green skin and cut into family size portions) and they have fresh cilantro as well.

I don’t typically write reviews like this, but I love supporting mom and pop shops and I had the most pleasant experience at Usha Food Market!! The store was very organized and it was easy to find the items I needed. The produce was fresh and the workers were very helpful in describing various ingredients I was unfamiliar with. Not to mention, the samosas were tasty and a delicious snack to grab on my way out. I will definitely be back!

Super nice guys working there. Some items I spotted: fresh veg including Indian eggplant, all kinds of spices, mango lassi, licorice root powder. Will definitely stop in again when I finally grow the courage to make my own Baigan Bharta

wired smell, overpriced, poor sanitary conditions. I will never go there again. And it was forcely closed by Chester county health department before, will you dare to buy groceries there putting in your mouth? I will pass anyway.

Selling expired products. This place is a scam. I bought packed parathas; Haldirams Paneer Kulcha, Onion Kulcha and Mixed Paratha packets etc. were expired.

The service I received at Usha Food Market yesterday was superlative. Kiran is extremely personable and kind. I will definitely return to buy home comforts that I enjoyed back in the UK such as Cadbury's chocolate, Tetley's tea and Patak's sauces. Thank you for being so hospitable!

Usha Food Market is the best store for Indian groceries I have ever been to. I found everything I needed and the best part was our interaction with the owner. He is super nice, very kind and humble and he made us feel like home. It never felt like home while doing groceries at any other Indian store in the US. It’s a must visit grocery store for Indian groceries.

Usha Food Market is one of the best Indian stores in the surrounding areas. It is a one stop shop for everything ranging from authentic Indian spices, fresh vegetables to fresh sweets (directly from India) and they have a very good home delivery service for groceries. They have very good home cooked food service with fresh food being delivered directly to your home. The food tastes very good and has a nice, homely feeling. Sundar is a very kind & nice person who guides his customer and helps them to get best products.

Amazing selection and the nicest people you will meet.

I'm so glad I stopped in this market. The fresh produce selection and tofu selection was phenomenal. If you have a vegan or vegetarian diet, this market is for you. Most of the products are packaged in writing that was not English but I still found what I needed. The two ladies in the store were very helpful and friendly.

Great Chinese grocery store! So happy that I found this place, so I don't have to drive into Philly every weekend. They have pretty much all the items needed for cooking Chinese cuisine - I can't speak on other Asian cuisine staples. I usually go on weekends and the vegetables are always very fresh. They also have gutted fish that they put on ice. On weekends, they also have roast pork, duck, and chicken, chopped from Philly, but they do go fast, so you have to get there early. They also have an assortment of buns, but those go fast too - they usually have it Friday afternoon and is gone by Saturday afternoon.

What a lovely store! Walked in and were immediately greeted by two kind men who were more than happy to help. I mentioned I was gluten free, and one of the owners was more than happy to show me my options and help me find exactly what I needed. 10/10 would shop again, definitely worth the visit even if you’ve never tried Indian food! I can't believe I'm the first one. My Korean family comes here often when we need Asian groceries and don't want to go into the city. They have decent prices, good quality and friendly, fast service. Its not the cleanest, most impressive place to shop, but for a small family run grocery, they really do an outstanding job, I shop here happily. Highly recommend!!

Quite potentially the nicest man I've ever met in my entire life. The gentleman was extremely knowledgeable and very eager to help. Had literally everything I needed to start trying to cook some Indian dishes. This is absolutely the only Indian grocery store I need.

A MUST VISIT STORE for those who want a glimpse of True Indian hospitality during their shopping trip. Store has good quality stuffs and the owner Mr Kiran is a down to earth person, something rare in today’s world just like pearls in the ocean. I was searching for Ragi millets since last 2 weeks in all the Indian grocery stores. Wish I had come here earlier. Not only did I get the pearl millets but also came across an awesome human being. I was offered tea and soft drinks which I humbly turned down. Truly Modest and a living example of the REAL INDIAN tradition of Guest is God (Atithi Devo Bhava). Would Highly Recommend this place for Indian groceries. If looking for any specific product, tell them in advance and they will get it for you.

I love this store! Owner is helpful and kind. I find everything I need and the people are helpful when I’m making new recipes. I buy all my puja supplies here and love walking in and the buying spices to make new food. I always leave happy. Great place to buy... support your local stores!!!

Iam a longtime customer for usha grocery Indian/American most items available. Now its deepavali time 14th November They have the best snacks .fresh and crispy. Very friendly owner .sundar and kiran are very helpful .I don't mind driving from Morton to malvern .Bottom line to get good stuff .distance don't matter .its the QUALITY matters🙂🙂😊😊🇺🇸👍👍 .

I can't believe I had not been here until today! Sundar was a welcoming and friendly person, made great suggestions, and was just nice to talk to in general. You can tell he cares about the customers. I picked up many vegan foods and goodies, too. I will definitely be making this a regular stop on my travels through Chester County.

I have been coming to this store for years and am always welcomed warmly by the owner. I love coming here, especially for their spices. One day I met the nephew, Sundar, also part owner, and he shared that he does cooking classes. This past weekend our cooking group hired Sundar to come to the home of one of my friends. We all love to cook and learned so much from him. His dishes were delicious and we learned to make some of our favorites that we can now make at home. It was a wonderful experience!
