Food was not what I expected over priced and was not really worth the calories but nice people but I won’t be coming back to that truck

The wife said the fried sweet plantains tasted like chemicals. Waste of money did not eat them. Cuban sandwich egg roll is okay. Wife also got the beef and cheese empanadas which according to her just tastes like ground beef with American cheese in it like a cheese burger. The many potato balls not good at all. Would not return to this food truck again.

We stop in on the spur of moment not knowing what we wanted. Am I ever glad we did. The Cuban egg rolls are the bomb and Cuban sandwich was excellent. We've been back and will keep going back. Remember the Cuban egg rolls.

Not sure why it’s taken me so long to write a review of this place, I eat here at least once a week. Tina and her crew serve up some of the best food I’ve ever had in South Shore. It may look like just another food truck, but there is so much more to it. You can tell there are many sophisticated food profiles within this Latin cuisine. If you stop by, you can’t leave without trying the Cuban Eggroll. I am still working my way down the menu as I get stuck repeating my order on the most recent delicious menu item. Try the Carne Fitas, mojo pork, and any of the empanadas. I have yet to try the sandwiches, but I am saving those for last. All the sauces are amazing. 100% recommending to anyone looking for food in the area.

I'm a Colombian girl born in Queens and raised in Brooklyn. Hanging out in Williamsburg Bedford Stuyvesant Bushwick and East New York and Flatbush all my friends were Puerto Rican and I love nothing more than Puerto Rican food and this place wins it hands down and the prices are so exceptionally reasonable I had the chicharron de pollo with to stones. Me and my husband shared an entree and we will be back thank you so much for the effort you put into such a wonderful business

Food looks fresh and well cook but too salty, the rice with gandules was very good, the pernil well cook and soft but salty, even the meat canoas too salty. Be careful on this, easy with the salt.

This was honestly the best food that I have had in Florida for the past three days. We have had $150 meals at nice restaurants and it cannot hold a candle to this food truck. Quick service great portion size and the food was excellent.

Food was nice, i got a Cuban sandwich. I thought it a little over priced since i've jsut arrived from Miami, and there a Cuban sandwich was from $6.50-$8.00. And I can appreciate the cost increases to us all in our grocery bills. CNBC reported a 11% increase across the board on wholesaler prices from the Bureau of Labor Statistics report. So, thanks for getting that Cuban Bread and keep up the good food. We all hope these food price increases do decrease!

The food is great and the wait was not too long taking in consideration the things we ordered (ex: mofongo) although it wasn't too busy when we went. They have 4 tables which are covered with a tent, which is awesome to have when eating outside during the afternoon. The pager is a nice touch also. Would recommend and would revisit!

Everything I had was awesome. Pork entry is amazing. Definitely get the sweet plantains. Cuban Egg Roll is huge and it is a Cuban sandwich in an egg roll.

Excellent! We ordered the potato salad, Cuban eggroll, jibarito sandwich and the Cuban sandwich. Best Cuban sandwich I've ever had! The jibarito sandwich is heavenly! Yum!!

Update: 3 for 3...we've come 3 times and each time was outstanding. Today was the little stuffed potatoes, pork empanada, and papas locas (crazy fries). So much flavor in each bite. STOP BY!! NO EXCUSES!! I just have to say...WOW!! The Mojo Pork sandwich was incredible. The dip it comes with was outstanding. Also got a beef and cheese empanada that was very flavorful. This truck is rocking the food! You have to try this out.

Found a new food truck! We stumbled upon this delight when in Nokomis. Awesome and spacious outdoor seating arrangements in a relaxed atmosphere. Although close to a the main road it's set up is far enough back that you feel away from the chaos that is SWFL traffic. Great location, wonderful service, and delicious fresh food. The Jibarito sandwich was mouth watering😋 Even had a pager to let us know when our food was ready. 💙

If you don't try the Cuban Egroll, you're doing something wrong! Those and the Plantain nachos are the best thing on the menu! You will not be disappointed.. Not only is the food great, the portions are humongous! One of our go-to spots..

Staff is super friendly and food is always delicious and fresh made to order have been here a couple times and will continue to go. Ordered beef empanada and papas rellenas (stuffed mini potatos) Being Puerto Rican I can say this lives up to your expectation. Tried the Cuban eggroll and was divine. Love how they have the typical drinks like the island. Thank you For having such a delicious food truck in Venice.

SO glad we found this food truck during our time in Sarasota. It was seriously delicious. And a Cuban sandwich as an egg roll?? I could eat them every day! Plus they offer the option to buy a meal for someone who needs one. Always good to pay it forward. We’ll be back.
