I had stopped going to this Sonic but when I saw the new management sign I decided to give it another shot. Mobile ordering was on, and my order was correct and ready when I pulled up. The drive through speaker and some of the stalls still need repaired but my experience was night and day better than before.

It feels like they don't prioritize the DoorDasher's orders. It took me over a half an hour to get my DoorDash order.

It took over half an hour to get just a slush - and I went inside and got my own slush. The manager yelled at me for being in the employees area. I had to go back there because no one else was getting my slush. I had already paid for it. This sonic has always had troubles. It takes hours to get your order from here. I will never ever go back to this sonic. It should be burned to the ground.

Waiting 20 minutes for one drink and a four-piece mozzarella stick? Once the stall did say someone was on their way with my order, I waited a while again before having to press the button for assistance. I was then told that they never had a check in, but when I told them my order he said he would be out with it. It might be under new management, but nothing has changed.

They are trying to reopen. A little short staffed, but they made every effort.

took 50 minutes for 3 slushies i could've gone in there and made them myself

Not a single car parked, two cars in the drive through. Why does it take 25 minutes every time I go to get my ice cream? What are you doing in there? Of all the horrible Sonics across the country, this is by far the worst one. I've driven off without even ordering more times than I've actually gotten food here.

Waiting time 45 minutes. And then you get the wrong order. We will never visit this Sonic again.

So been here multiple times and it's gone downhill with each visit. At one point their drive-thru speaker was broken so they were doing payment & orders at the same window and it was taking FOREVER. Bailed that day like so many others. Took a break, went back after it was "under new management". Still took FOREVER to get through the drive thru. Multiple people bailed on the line today too. Over ten minutes just to order, then another ten minutes to get it. Ordered five slushes and some BBQ chicken strips. Highly recommend going to JAX on 27th St right around the corner and picking any other fast food on 27th St for the BBQ strips next time. I am quite sure they are severely understaffed, and I appreciate the staff that are around, but I feel really, really, really bad for them. Spare them some stress and go to another fast food joint!

I've been to this sonic twice. The first time, they had a sign saying please be patient, staff in training. That's fine. My sandwich had ROTTEN lettuce on it. Not a little rotten, REALLY rotten. Didn't go back, because it took so long to get my food that I didn't have time to take it back. I scraped all the lettuce off and ate just the patty. Tried to give them another chance today. Pulled up to the speaker. "Just a moment" That's fine. Waited 5-10 minutes and no one came back. So I left, and will never return.

We waited 25 mins for a sandwich and a milkshake! And they didn't even put sauce in my sandwich. And there was no spoon or straw for my milkshake. And there was a crack in the bottom of my milkshake cup that leaked! And when ordering, we pressed the button, and had to wait multiple minutes for someone to come and take our order. We watched multiple cars drive in and leave before we even got our small order.

The slowest service seams like only one guy running orders out guess the owner does not care about reviews from what I have seen probably won't go back .that place has been struggling for along time

Don't come unless you have a lot of time to kill. 10 minutes to get someone to take your order, and 35 minutes after ordering still no food. Love Sonic, but this one has the worst service.

We ordered shakes and a burger. The burger was lukewarm and one of the shakes had a hole in the bottom of the glass. I walked inside to get a new glass and yikes!!! Not a clean facility. Last time we go to Sonic in Scottsbluff.

Don't eat here! 🤢🤮 We waited for 30 mins before someone acknowledged us and as we sat there waiting, the line was long as well. I had gotten a bacon cheeseburger and I nearly puked because I choked on uncooked bacon. The French fries were a glob of fried grease.

Pulled up to get a shake and a burger on my way through town. No answer at the drive-in speaker. Ducked in to use the restroom and order inside and the manager was talking to the owner (?) about various staffing problems, hours, staff, etc. I was still going to order something but then I saw the bathroom. Noped my way over to Taco John's next store, never to return. Maybe to any Sonic. No zero star option, hence the one star.

The worst customer service in town. I go in and waiting for a door dash order. I push the button for assistance and it’s not plugged in. Nobody goes out to the lobby to ask if I was needing anything. All I head from the kitchen was kids shows and songs going on. Like someone has their child in the kitchen. I can could clearly see two workers on the other side of the window facing the lobby and not coming out at all. This is very childish and unprofessional. Also leaving an “automated message” saying how I need to call someone that’s in a different state proves the management in the store doesn’t care about their rep anyways. Do better…

The drive thru speaker is not working all the time the food is not good and they have not managed to repair the roof after a hail storm that hapend almost a year ago

Only reason there's 1 star is because 0 isn't an option! We waited at the outside speaker, after pushing the button, for 10 minutes with no response. We then went to the drive thru & waited another 15 minutes before leaving, but not until seeing 2 other vehicles get to the outside speaker, wait, then drive off because no one answered! So i parked & went inside where no one would help me! They're were no other cars parked outside so they weren't busy. This place just needs to be put out of the customers misery & close!!!!

For some reason every time I go to the sonic, the service is incredibly slow. In this particular incident I was in the Drive-Thru for 20 minutes to get two drinks.

We stopped by twice today for a drink. The first time we went thru drive thru and nobody would wait on us. The second time was at the speaker out front and nobody would wait on us. Yesterday we came thru at 1030 and stopped at drive thru and nobody would wait on us. We are done.

The food was old. They didn't get the order right. Employees are very rude.

To be completely fair I only rated food and atmosphere one star because I didn't actually get any food and it was raining at the time so that's not the restaurants fault. But what is the restaurants fault, is the fact that I stayed in a CarHop spot for over 20 minutes without anybody saying a single word to me after pressing the button. It's like you're begging to be closed down.

I don’t know how the owner keeps this franchise. Order speaker hasn’t worked like forever. Today I ordered the footlong coney. They left of the chili. Bun was turning stale. And hotdog was just warm.

I don’t know if there just to unintelligent to run at all. Twice I’ve sat at the drive through and someone says we’ll be right with you and 10 minutes goes by. It’s like they know if they make you wait long enough you’ll just leave(nobody else was in the drive through by the way)

Sat at the car port for a few minutes, no one took our order. Went to Burger King instead at least they take our order. Would not recommend going here.

The onion rings were a pile of mush in the bottom of the bag. I rang the buzzer to get another one cooked correctly. The manager on duty told me he had cooked them the way they were supposed to be done according to the company directions, and that's how they turned out, but he'd cook me some more. I told him I grew up eating in Oklahoma where the original Sonics started, and that was NOT how Sonic onion rings were supposed to be served. He cooked me a second order, and they were cooked crisper but still falling apart in the bag with more batter off the onions than on. I told him I'd keep the, but they are not good quality Sonic rings. He said I've been doing this 30 years, and they're fine. Avoid this place at all cost if you want eatable onion rings.

After having to repeat ourselves at the menu several times, nearly having to shout, most of our orders were incorrect, and the food we received was just poor quality. The worst tater tots and honey mustard we've possibly ever had, and the burgers seemed like they were not fresh at all. Definitely wouldn't recommend this especially with it costing over $30

The service keeps going down hill. Which is too bad because it used to be really good. Repairs to the building and infrastructure are in dire need of repair.

I used to love Sonic. They have turned off ordering on the app at this Sonic and so you can no longer get app exclusives, happy hour anytime or sometime even order (many of the order stations don’t work). Please turn it back on! Thanks!

I got a whole cup of ice from the manager because I had them fix my drink

Their food is terrible, I grew up eating sonic and can't stand there's. Their slushy machine is broken and the store hours change randomly or they just aren't open. Save yourself the pain and go to a gas station or Scottys.

I understand short staffing, but it took almost 20 min to get a route 44 strawberry limeade in the DTR. Maybe the three cars in front of me in the DTR all had big orders? Still...

I had the soft pretzel, the jalapeno poppers, and the new buffalo chicken wonton thingies with an ice tea for supper. It was good!

I came by at 9:30 and was told that they changed their hours and they're closing early now. 9:30 on a Saturday night when everybody is out. That's ridiculous.

For the price of chili cheese tots they really screwed us on the chili they barely gave us any chili. very disappointed this place has really gone downhill!

Can't actually comment on the food these days because the last couple times I've been I ended up waiting to give my order until I gave up and left. Last time there was nobody in the drive thru ahead of me and only one person in the stalls. Is there just one unfortunate guy working here?

It took ten minutes to order. I ordered a #2 supersonic double cheese burger with no ketchup, medium tater tots and a route 44 cherry limeade. Almost twenty five minute to get my order. The tater tots were very cold and stale, the hamburger was cold like it had been sitting out for over an hour and had extra ketchup, and the rout 44 was a medium. The server did take the drink back to get the right size. He offered to get more tots but I figured it would take another twenty five minutes. And couldn’t even finish the burger it was so cold. I understand being short handed, it not getting most of the order completely wrong. It is better to be slow and correct than fast and wrong. Sadly, I will probably not eat here ever again and sonic used to be my favorite burger stop.

2 years after my last review I'm updating again. This place is not worth your money. They pick and choose who they help first. Abel was incredibly rude and I was continually ignored whole they helped all their friends first...

This is the second time we have been here for drinks only and it's taken over 10 minutes. Not only that but both times we've been lately, th employees have no issue telling customers that they want to inflict bodily harm on their boss out of Colorado. It's rather disturbing and definitely uncalled for.

They were "short staffed" so instead of getting food at the drive up we were asked to use the drive through. Once there the service wasnt even good just rushed. While sitting in line waiting for food noticed other vehicles getting served at the drive ups? Once we recieved our food it was terrible the fries were soggy and cold, the burger was luke warm, the popcorn chicken was luke warm. Our limeade's werent even good they tasted flat and had a odd aftertaste. This is the second bad experience in as many months and we will not be returning.

When I first moved to town this was a good place to grab a nice cold Coke. However, I've been to this location quite a bit recently. There isn't anything positive to say. Service & food is slow and inconsistent. Wait times 20 minutes plus when they are busy. Out of stock foot long. Shake machine broken. Got very old nasty fries today. Missing honey mustard sauce and onion ring. The drive thru speaker doesn't work very good. Half there pull up screens don't work. There's a lot of broken signs. Waste of time and money, which is unfortunate. Virus calling them out at the time I've decided to boycott and leave a review to maybe help someone else. Sonic Scottsbluff get it together.

The bathrooms were discussing. The speaks were so broken it hurt my ears. Plus the music was not family friendly. Seeing the drive through so stalled is not hopeful. Already it's a disgrace.

We waited over 45 minutes the food was cold, and we didn’t get my coffee until almost 20 minutes of ringing on the bell, coffee was also cold, don’t waste your money

Alright service I suppose. Hit or miss on rather it'll be fast and friendly or slow and rude. Nothings changed except my double bacon cheese burger had half a slice of bacon. I asked for no tomatoes because I'm allergic and they still put em on there. My cheddar peppers where still cold in the middle and my vanilla cream coke was about 3/4 of the way full with 5 little ice cubes tasted like it had been sitting there for awhile.

Jimmy was very nice.. it's sad people are so rude and don't realize they are short handed most of the time. When we do order food it is fresh and hot. We appreciate you guys for showing up to work today. The CEO of this place needs to step up and help your employees. They are trying there hardest they need your help renovating the place and getting them enough help. My five stars is for the employee that was treated unfairly by customers and getting yelled at infront of us it really broke my heart to see this. He kept his cool and still put on a smile for us. Respect to you Jimmy. 💯

Worst service I received. There was mold on my food and a hair in my drink. The place always looks run down and breaking. The employee that was working late was disrespectful and started cursing at me for being mad at what I got.

Absolutely horrible, their service and workers are absolutely rude. Their speaker system is broken, and when we called to tell them why they’re standing around, they yelled at us to leave just because they can’t do their job. Absolutely ridiculous!!!

I am so sick of waiting over 20 min. Each time to try to get a drink, only a drink! 3 out of 4 times result in driving away from sonic without ever getting any service. I'm sure they won't be open much longer with service like this!

I went to pick up a Doordash order and on the way out, a staff walked out and I was right behind him and the door swung back. If it weren’t for the customers order, the door would of hit me right in the face. It was no more than a couple inches from my face. The staff there also don’t seem to know what they are doing. Orders constantly getting messed up, they don’t tell you when they are out of something yet charge you for it anyway. Definitely won’t be going back or taking Doordash orders from there again!

Gross. Powdery substance (maybe flour) caked on the bottom and Icould scrap off. Management really needs to up their game.

Absolutely PATHETIC. Three visits in a row and can't even get an order placed. Was told to come through the drive thru to place my order... and then the speaker doesn't work. I wait to get to the window to order and I see the filthiest Sonic ever. I drove off and won't be returning.

Twice in a row. Ordered through Door Dash a grilled cheese that wasn’t cooked. Today I ordered chicken strips meal that was overcooked and I wanted fries, not tater tots. I’m done wasting money here.

No sauce with chicken. Was not a large serving of chicken or tots for the price. Bun was hard. Burger was cold and tasteless. Girl told me to say at the car hop menu.....waited and waited. The guy finally told me to come to the drive up, they were short staffed. Absolutely no difference between the car hop and drive up still waited for ever for food and they had to bring it to our car.

Sonic is a super nostalgic place for me when I was a mere lad I used to eat Hamburg and Fry after school with Diet Coke and my mother would reward me with this when I got an A on my test if I failed of course I got the studded belt but that's beside the point I recently came back to town after 20 years in state pen for an undisclosed reason and I decided to have Sonic be my first meal the servers were extremely friendly and welcoming I got my favorite chili cheese dog extra chili extra onions little bit of mustard some whipped cream and just a sprinkling of boiled asparagus I ate there being satisfied for a very low price it's funny I then saw my estranged father in the Drive-Thru and we reunited as father and son I gave him a big sloppy kiss on the lips so I would personally like to thank Chima owning and operating this fine establishment

Stopped for breakfast, had to wait a while. Ordered bf. Burritos and Toaster sandwiches. The Burritos were good but the sandwiches weren't toasted! Little disappointed.

Worked here, literally 2-3 months, and there's always drama going on. We were told on Sunday night to all start looking for new jobs, I still have the group chats. I turned my uniform in the next day, and got a call saying "why did you turn your uniform in? " to which I reminded the gm that we were all told to get new jobs because she had quit. She then told me that she was staying at sonic, and I would have had a job. So I explained to her that I am not coming back to a place where I have to worry whether it will be shut down in a week or two.

Funny, order a green chili burger and nothing is on it not even the green chili. Took an hour to get so not sure what they was doing.

Often mess up orders or are terribly slow. Most of the workers are polite. Better management and a consistent staff would help. Update: I haven't been back since my last update, and again today, had tons of trouble placing an order for a single meal, and the tots were cold. Cold tots bro, cold tots?!

Terrible service. Sit there and wait for them to answer stall for 10+ minute's. Have tried on numerous occasions throughout the year and always the same outcome, so end up going elsewhere. Wasn't even busy. 3 car's in stalls, 2 car's in drive thru. Employees standing outside smoking. Obviously new manager and staff is just as bad as the previous staff.

Food ok ... Intercoms really bad at non car walk-up

Haven't been in a while. The other restaurants had a long line, so we thought we'd go there for a change. Huge mistake!. There were only 4 cars in the drive thru, but we waited a good half hour to get our order. The burger I ate was poor quality, even for a fast food burger. The fries had so much salt, they were inedible. How about you fix the drive thru microphone, pay more for better workers, and have some actual management to make sure this place runs like a functional restaurant, ok?

While out shopping, Sonic is always a fun delicious quick stop. I usually have the burger of the month and a blizzard. I have had them all! Oreo is probably my favorite.

The waiting time is LONG...for food orders, for the drive thru, and twice I've tried the pull up and have ended up leaving. But the workers are super friendly and the quality is good! I just don't know why the drive thru system doesn't work well.

Just don’t. Took 45 minutes to get our food. I asked about the delay and they retaliated by putting so much salt and pepper in the food we couldn’t eat it. They made the shakes first and let them sit for the 45 minutes so they were completely melted when we got them. Their customer support is ridiculous. Offered me a free cheeseburger with purchase for $20 worth of food we couldn’t eat. We were already on the road and couldn’t go back to the restaurant. Stop and eat anywhere but here.

Sat at the drive up kiosk for 10 minutes and Noone answered to take our order...walk up door was locked. Pete made it all the way through drive through while we were waiting just to order.
