Ordered Turkey Avocado today and got home there was no avocado on my sandwich

Used to come here, and to other Spoons locations, often. An employee refused to let me try a sample of a soup before I ordered. Stated it hadn’t been allowed “since Covid.” ??? I have had soup samples before ordering—at this and another Spoons locations—in the past month. Disappointed at being treated in this way. If this truly a policy change, what an awful, awful policy change. It has cost Spoons a lot of business from me.

I love the food here and come here frequently, but sadly, only a 3 for me for last night. I ordered a half caesar salad with chicken and paid extra for the chicken but it was not on my salad. I was already home before I realize it. Please double check the orders! The soup was fantastic, as usual.

This was really good. A hole on the wall filled with delicious soups and fresh salad.

Their board/menu appeared to be electronic but their prices were not accurate as when I got rung up it was about $2 than what the board says. Not a good experience. Consumers are already paying a premium due to inflation/price gouging for prepared foods so the higher than advertised prices were a twist of the knife. Salad was fine.

I’ve always loved spoons for over 10 years but sadly I can’t afford to pay $20 for a salad and soda. Especially when they shove everything into a small container and don’t toss or mix it.

We had the chicken poblano soup and we found that the chicken chunks were extremely large. I was also very disappointed in the facia bread. We used to get a full FRESH bread with soup. What we got was a sliver of stale bread just saying.

This is a fantastic place to get an affordable meal that you know is pretty locally sourced. Spoons is probably one of my favorite go-to lunch spots. The focaccia bread is impressive, the soups are nicely labeled, and the salads are yummy. If you order a big catering order, I would call the day before and ensure everything is correct. I have had a couple of kerfuffles that the store has been more than willing to fix. This is an excellent place for healthier food. If you decide to eat in the store, know that the little cafe tables are nice but shaky and show wear and tear. It's still an excellent place just to grab a quick bite to eat.

Very good for soups and salads.

First time going here. The prices were reasonable. We split the bowl of potato cheddar soup and the turkey avocado sandwich. I liked that it wasn’t too salty which is typically the way it is at other restaurants. The food was fresh and tasted really good.

We arrived five minutes before they closed, they saw us and went back and hid in the kitchen so they would not have to serve us because they wanted to go home. They waited till they thought we had left and still wouldn’t open the doors even though it was during their business hours.

Found what I believe is a better alternative to Panera. Great sandwiches, salads, and soups. And you can get half a sandwich, half salad or soup! The food is fresh, flavorful, and affordable. Found a new go-to place! And the service is great

I was not happy at all with .my salad. brown wilted kale I had an avocado that had only 2slices to it and it was brown. The taste over all wasn't good and it cost me 11.00$ my boyfriend's salad he said wasn't very good the meal cost me 29.00$ for two disliked salad I will never hit the spoons on timberline again and I hit the 3stars by mistake I only meant to hit 1. And the salads are small for the price.

The food is always great there.

I used to be a regular customer but the new changes have made this once great place, not so great. We used to be able to sample the soups before buying. We also used to have combo options that included the focaccia bread. Now everything is sold separately, and besides that, the salads have gotten more expensive, and smaller. It's disappointing to say the least. I do understand prices need to go up every now and then. But please, make it worth it for customers to come back. People hate feeling like they've been ripped off.

Great variety in the menu. The soups and the sandwiches are delicious.

Our go to place for a fast and healthy meal - Spoons was great before they added sandwiches and now they're even better - best flavour and texture of bread anywhere- only thing I would change: I wish there was a spoons in Windsor so we wouldn't have to drive to Fort Collins

I'm a foco resident of 20 years and have eaten at spoons numerous times. Its always been good and constant, I like eating here when I feel under the weather,who doesn't like a bowl of soup And a grill cheese when they don't feel well, unfortunately now because of inflation a bowl of soup is $10. For a bowl of soup grilled cheese and a drink is $20! I can make soup and grilled cheese at home for a week for $20. I'm unsure how your campus locations will survive with prices this high. I'm glad I made it through college before bowls of soup started costing $10. Good luck in your future endeavors it's been a great 20 year relationship,and maybe we can see each other again someday if the inflation game comes down!! One love!

I really hope the manager sees this review! I am a very honest and humble person but the customer service was horrible. Spent $48 on lunch to get treated like we were an inconvenience because we asked questions about the soup bowl sizes, if your company still had taste test and how much the cookies and bread were. I let the girl know that she was rude and had bad customer service then she proceeded to roll her eyes. I should of asked for a refund and walked out we felt so uncomfortable eating in there we should of left.

I ordered the vegetarian chili.ots of vegetables. However, there was absolutely no chili powder, cumin, chilies in it. It was more of a bean based vegtable soup. I put half a bottle of Cholula in it to get some spice.

Good spot for tasty soups, sandwiches & salads. Simple space.

Spoons has always been one of my favorite places for soups and sandwiches however the recent switch from focaccia bread to French bread for the sandwiches has left me dissatisfied. The focaccia bread is what set Spoons apart from any other sandwich place in town. Bring back the focaccia!!!

We loved the many soup choices (the loaded potato was not that great, but the cheddar potato was delicious) and liked the bread in the sandwiches; but the amount of food was not worth the price on the meal, the deal, or a whole sandwich. The staff seemed to not know the menu or their soft drink options (it was our first time) and the girl that checked us out was very rude. Nothing that would draw us back again.

Perfect portions for a lunch or dinner. Soup, Sandwiches, and salads you can create your own salads and more. I definitely recommend this place and am definitely coming again! Thank You!

I had salad and sandwhich and it was AMAZING! The bread was soooo good and fresh tasting. My Chipotle salad was delicious as well, can't wait to come back and try everything!

We ordered salads and they were absolutely delicious. We went back 3 days in a row because the salads were sooo good. I gave them 3 stars because the service is so poor. On day 3, the staff confused our order and gave us the wrong salad. I had to ask repeatedly to get the cup in order to get my drink. Overall just feels like the staff is reticent to provide service? After that experience we decided to not return :(

Definitely not impressed. Stopped by on the way back to Cheyenne. Was pretty excited to try this place out. Husbands sandwich was burned and smelled like a used diaper. The salad was definitely not delivered and the soups made us sick.

Went to Spoons this evening for a couple of "The Deal" meals, which is $8.25 for a grilled cheese sandwich and soup or salad. The girl behind the cash register was exceptionally rude! She couldn't figure out how to enter the meals, and at one point was going to charge us $38 for $16.50 in food. In her frustration with her own ineptitude she said, "your just going to have to pay for these things as ala carte", ergo the high price. We waited patiently for her to figure it out, as we were going to pay $28 extra. The food was good, the girl at the register was horrible.

Normally I enjoy their soups and sandwiches. This one was a little light on meat.

Nice quiet location on Timberline so there was little waiting time. I ordered a meal (soup and 1/2 sandwich). The pesto-goat cheese sandwich was nearly inedible. The bread was very dense, burnt and soggy; not the usual fluffy focaccia I have come to love. The pesto-goat cheese filling was really wet but had an ok flavor. The entire sandwich was mush and I could have eaten it easily with a spoon. The potato-cheddar soup (my favorite) was alright but quite watery. Also, did not receive the focaccia bread that usually comes with the meal. Not sure if this is an off day but Spoons soups used to be nice and thick and flavorful. The quality has been going downhill for the last few years.

Just spent $35 on undercooked potatos and a sandwich that got cooked and was supposed to be cold. Thanks keep up the great work

They allow and serve unmasked people at the Harmony location. Come here and get a serving of COVID with your soup.

Wonderful selection of healthy soups, sandwiches and wraps. I always get their veggie hummus wrap and always end up full. Their Gazpacho soup is delicious, but they don't offer it in December. I was pleased with the tomato pesto soup. The only downside is indoor seating isn't so plentiful with stools at a counter or 1 table with 4 chairs.

The staff is very friendly, the food is always awesome when I eat here. Great local sandwich shop.

Use to love this place, although after a terrible experience with the manager, I will not be going back. False advertising for meal for 2 and resulted in food getting thrown away because they can't honor what there menu states. Disappointed long term customer.

I was greeted with a smile, warming welcome, and taken very good care of. I'm new to the area and wasn't tested any differently. I had an amazing beef stew that was their recommendation. The best beef stew I've ever had. Don't tell my mom or grandma I said that! Lol. Highly recommend it.

Had their corn chowder for the first time yesterday. It was nothing short of outstanding (add more bacon) Also, great employees and great service.

I ordered the Club, It was very good! The spice on the chicken was the perfect flavors! As for my Caesar salad, that was disappointing because of the huge core piece of the lettuce in my salad. Surprised they think that's okay to eat... I spent $89.00 I expect to have food that's edible. Not food for the garbage.

They move people through very quickly! My salad ingredients were very fresh and the soup is always hot.

Few of the tables were dirty, looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while. But, the food was great and the staff were hustling.

I used to work at Spoons in college, a great employer and even greater food. Now I am pregnant and one of my cravings is Spoons soup! My sweet husband and dad drove us an hour to get me several quarts of the moms country vegetable! The staff at Harmony and Timberline were super helpful and kind. The store was very neat and clean. I’m starting to run low, I will be back!! Thank you Spoons for great gluten free and dairy free options!

Fresh food, excellent soups and salads, and the foccacia is wonderful. Can be very busy at lunch time, but the line moves quickly.

Great selection and healthy variety of homemade soups and salads. Staff are always friendly and helpful. We love to eat here at least one a week year round.

SO GOOD. My husband and I were looking for a light meal that would fill us up and this place was perfect. The entree sized salads don’t look like a ton of food but they’re very filling! I ate here for the first time today and all I have to say is it was AMAZING, the food was delicious and the service and employees were awesome, super helpful and inviting.

Spoons has been the go-to place for our dinners after a long week of work and school. We typically go for the soups and the nice focaccia bread. Everything is made fresh that day and you can taste it. You just can’t go wrong. There is usually at least six to eight soups to choose from and the staff will be more than happy to give you a sample if you are either stuck between two options or have never tried one of their offerings. You can truly taste the freshness of their product. On a side note, sometimes Caesar salads are added and their dressing is to die for. The kids have asked for their grilled cheese sandwiches and they disappear pretty quickly. All in all, it is so convenient to have a restaurant that serves top notch and comforting food, at a reasonable price. Finally, I’d like to point out that the owners must be doing something right since the staff is usually all pepped up and smiling.

Delicious soups with some unique recipes (girlfriend loves their Mac and cheese soup). Can even try samples of soups and from what I have heard do a half and half bowl. Focaccia bread is soft and delicious. Can't speak on their sandwhiches and salads but if they are anything like their soups. Need to expand to Ames, IA 😅

If I could give zero stars I would. This location never gets my order correct. They also cant manage to put the entire order in the to-go bag. I normally wouldn’t leave a bad review, but this has happened well over a dozen times. If you’re going to eat here, make sure you check your order and your to-go bag before leaving. Update- management contacted me and rectified the situation. For this reason, I have edited the review to 3 stars.

I wish they had a place like this where I live. My wife stumbled upon this place, as we drove through Ft. Collins and it was worth the stop. The food is very fresh, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly. We will definitely be stopping in again on our way home.

While shopping in Fort Collins my daughter and I stopped in for lunch. I was impressed with my salad choice, the soup of the day, a lemon artichoke chicken, was so-so. My daughter ordered a grilled beef and cheese sandwich for herself and a grilled cheese for her son. We took our order outside, and discovered that neither of her sandwiches had actually touched a grill. She took the cheese sandwich back inside, and they grilled it, but by then the restaurant was fairly crowded and she didn't want to wait to have her sandwich grilled. I would say, at the least, employees at a restaurant that specializes in sandwiches should know how to make a grilled cheese. I doubt I will ever give this place another visit.

Salads are wonderful!! Soups are perfect for specific eaters like gluten free, vegan, lactose intolerant etc.

Some of the best potato soup I've ever had. The apple poppyseed salad is also wonderful

I adore this restaurant. It's a tiny place, kind of a hole in the wall, but with clear signage from the nearby major access roads. The people who work here are fabulous: patient, thoughtful, efficient, with a sense of humor. The prices are so reasonable for homemade soups and salads and sandwiches; and the food is incredibly good. I haven't found a chicken tortilla soup as good anywhere else. I also recommend the focaccia, which comes with soups or salads ordered.

Any of the soups and focaccia bread are a perfect cold day meal.

Never disappointed. Colorado Cobb is a go-to but it's always a challenge to pick a soup...too many good options.

Their home made soups are to die for and there are always a number of types being offered each day. If you are craving delicious soup, this is the place to go. My sister heads here for their salads and she won't go anywhere else. Don't forget - they have home made cookies, too!
