Excellent brunch! The coffee alone is fabulous, eggs Benedict and crab cake were very tasty

This is the most charming local gem, serving perfectly prepared meals that are a treat for the senses!

Though not as good as I remember from a couple of previous meals there, the cuisine was still very tasty. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The setting, secluded, timeless, almost magical, is very appealing. It's disappointing to see the ugly inappropriate new building on the neighboring lot behind the farmhouse. Not that the SMC and its near environs are a UNESCO Heritage Site, but it's too bad that whoever was behind that project clearly didn't recognize the special quality of the place.

As in past visits, the food and service were excellent and the ambiance lovely. A sort of magical setting only a mile or so from the tackiness of strip malls and subdivisions.

It was an incredible experience! We live within walking distance of this restaurant. Despite being so close, we felt like we were on a mini vacation while we were there. The food was exceptional, first and foremost. We received excellent suggestions from our waiter which allowed us to expand our experience. The atmosphere was comfortable and elegant. We were here for brunch, but will be back for dinner (and many more to follow!)

22% tip on parties of 5 or more was a bit steep. And they tipped on tax amount which is a no-no. Food was very well prepared

Spring Mill Cafe on a Sunday summer evening is like being transported to a small town in France. (Except for the roar of the passing cars about 20 feet from our outside table-our choice.) Menu is small yet creative and the specials always well presented. We had escargot, a shrimp appetizer, beet salad and a fabulous hearts of palm and risotto dish. All good with attentive service. Five stars but shhh don’t tell too many people!

We have driven by Spring Mill Cafe for years. We are so glad that we stoped in for dinner. Appetizers were excellent and the main course was well timed, cooked perfectly and entirely delicious. Strongly recommend

It's one of the best restaurants in the area. I've been going for many years and have never been disappointed. I find it expensive but for a special occasion or treat, it's worth it.

We were fortunate to be able to visit one of our favorite restaurants for Bastille day. Starting with the bread and through each course, everything was excellent.

Sunday brunch was reasonably priced, a delicious meal, great service. An overall wonderful experience.

Spring Mill Cafe never disappoints. From the fresh peach, apple, strawberry (and more!) salad to the perfectly seared filet mignon and tender barramundi to the orange cake a la mode and fresh berries with whipped cream, our palates were pleased and the amounts were just right. The service was top notch, and the outdoor seating was lovely. We even made some new friends with the couple at the next table. All in all, A+++

Repeat diner and once again everything was outstanding at Spring Mill Cafe. We enjoyed two escargots and two tender octopus salads for appetizers. Our delicious entrees were lamb, pork, rabbit and fresh fish special. Christine (our server) was very pleasant. Chocolate mousse capped the meal with more smiles.

Delicious food- hats off to the chef who continues to bringing country style French cuisine with a farm to table flair. Brilliant service; everyone who works there is amazingly polite, courteous, kind, caring, skilled, and, professional. The ambience is truly lovely. We’ve been going there for years, and even had our wedding reception here. It’s a fantastic experience, each time. They change their menu regularly, seasonal produce is always prevalent, and some classics stay on as permanent menu additions. Go check them out, again. Cheers

Spring Mill Cafe is an outstanding restaurant that has excellent food choices .

What a nice night! We ate simply - the salad special of the day and parrotfish for both. We rarely see parrotfish on a menu anywhere, so we checked SeaWorld to make sure it's not endangered. It's actually plentiful and a good choice for diner and planet alike. It's a very tasty white fish with a fair amount of meat, sauteed and presented on lentils for this meal. The usual great staff and service complement every meal here.

I'm not a first time diner here, but I always have a great time. The food is consistently great. It is always a pleasure to dine there.

Food was delicious and well prepared. Location is like a hidden gem, you could miss it and never know the great things you're missing out on. Ambience is quaint and fits the French focused cuisine, as well as the hidden gem motif. Service staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Kim is a superstar and there's never a question that she isn't customer focused or making sure everything runs smoothly. My main server was Christine, and she's very French at times but in a good way. Get on her good side and she's absolutely incredible.

The food is consistently outstanding and the setting is so charming. Spring Mill Cafe is one of our absolute favorites! It would be even better if they put cushions on their outdoor chairs!

Hosted a birthday luncheon in the Farmhouse for 20 people. What a great place for an event. Atmosphere was perfect, service was great and attention to detail throughout. Ezra was wonderful to work with in the planning and his team did a great job. Love that it is BYOB and we were able to provide our own flower arrangements as well. It was a very special day in a fabulous place. Highly recommend a visit in general to dine and to consider SMC for a special event. They partner with a wonderful bakery, The Frosted Fox, and the cake was not only beautiful but delicious. Lots of compliments from the guests on all aspects of the event.

Collectively, our party agreed that the service was great, but the food lacked flavor. For example, the pea soup seemed well prepared, was attractive, but lacked seasoning. The lamb chops with mint coulis was missing mint flavor even though there were 2 mint leaves on the plate. We also had cheese plate and steak frites, which were ok, but the steaks had too little sauce. We’ve been coming to this cafe for over 30 years mainly because it holds a sentimental place in our hearts. But it can be hit or miss.

This is our favorite restaurant! We were there this week celebrating a birthday on a Tuesday, and what a nice surprise to learn that they are offering music every Tuesday in June, and a wine tasting every Tuesday in July. Can't wait to go again! Food is always exquisite, great service, and we love the bistro atmosphere. Upscale casual!

It was a memorable celebration meal in a low key setting. The food and service were exceptional. We will return!

Spring and summer menu changes are here. The beet salad with caviar, blini and creme fraiche was a perfect appetizer. The golden beets were as sweet as sugar, and everything on the plate was fresh and fabulous! My wife had the crabe (sic) croquette app, which must have been wonderful because she didn't offer me even a crumb of it. Her trout (one of the day's specials) was big, beautiful, tender, and tasty. I love the rabbit there, and the current presentation was delightfully different despite a mustard sauce used on most of their rabbit dishes over the years. It came on spaetzle with apple sausage plus sautéed cabbage that was so tasty it'd make a great side dish on its own. We split an orange cake with ice cream and left feeling fantastic! You couldn't ask for a better staff, and the place is always a pleasure to visit.

This is the most romantic restaurant in the Philadelphia area.

Ezra always does an amazing job. We got married there in December 2022. The food quality & quantity is always amazing. One thing though, since we were the last seating, I found that my Baluga lentils were a bit mushy (something they can easily fix). Overall, it is my favorite place to go for an EXCELENT dining experience.

A neighborhood gem! Sat on the porch with our daughter last night for Mother’s Day weekend on a Saturday evening and shared a bottle of wine. Love this old house turned restaurant! Really wanted to love this place. Atmosphere and service were wonderful. Unfortunately, despite trying multiple apps and main courses, we didnt find anything to be exceptional or excellent. It was all just ok. Nothing experimental here, all classics, but things were under salted or not executed to a very good level. Compared to french places in Philly or France it was pretty underwhelming.

My wife and I had dinner on a Thursday night, and celebrated my birthday. The food was superb, and the service was top-notch. There were not a whole lot of people in the restaurant, but still our server managed to space out our courses, and we never felt overwhelmed or rushed. This was our first visit.  We will definitely return in the near future.

The appetizers and entrees were well prepared and very good. The only disappointment was the orange cake desert which was dry and not that flavorful.

It is one, if not the best restaurant, we have ever dined in. Everything is top notch, and the most important characteristic is that it is consistently excellent! Kudos to Ezra and his entire staff! ☺️

My choice of the vegan option was both bland and unremarkable! I expected it to be much more creative and tastier !

This is a lovely restaurant with wonderful food and perfect atmosphere. The servers are attentive without being intrusive. The carrot soup was silky and fine. Both of our entrees were plentiful and tasty. Another great dinner here.

We all loved the menu and the dishes we each chose. Service was solid. Only complaint was that the table was very small, and one of us was cramped between our table and another, with server and patron traffic having to squeeze by. Otherwise, we had a lovely brunch.

An elegant, relaxed, exquisite little jewel of a restaurant nestled just outside of Conshohoken’s developing downtown, The Spring Mill Cafe hosted a surprise birthday party for my younger sister. Menu and detail coordination were effortless, and the owner, Ezra, offered ideas and insights on how to best structure the affair. The food was - superb - , everyone in attendance raving about it. I couldn’t have found a better venue for the event, and will certainly return in the future. Wonderful. Go here.

The Cassoulet was outstanding, and my wife said her fish was superb! The service was very attentive and cheerfully rendered.

We had a lovely brunch at SMC on Sunday. Wonderful greeting, lovely corner table and host was quick to open our byob and serve. Our server was a delight and the meal was perfectly timed. We enjoyed all of our appetizer salads and entrees. Loved the cheese plate for dessert. Mostly though, it was the lovely service and ambiance that made the meal so special.
