I became a member early on in the opening of Spyre. I was never given a tour of the facility, I did ask, but enjoyed swimming in the pool, and really the pool was why I joined, so I let the confusion about when a tour and who would do it slide. The showers often had huge clumps of hair in the drains, and wet towels on the sinks and sofa in the change room, meanwhile the hip looking young women at the desk sat around chatting and yawning. Then when I was overseas, I paused my account with the exact date I was returning. Upon returning, I was told my account was cancelled along with the guest passes I'd purchased. An obnoxious attendant told me all of this in her snotty little voice. Today I looked at my credit card statement and I have been billed! I was not at all surprised, because there have been few times I've asked questions regarding my account where the attendant did not know what they were doing, Lots of giggling while they searched their laptops, until eventually someone who did know what they were doing found what I actually paid for but that they'd insisted with a stuck up attitude that I hadn't. No apologies, just giggling and " hee, hee she's new, tee hee hee". I also purchased a gift certificate for a friend who chose to do a waterless float, She told me she could see electrical wires sticking out, and was afraid she would be electrocuted. She never went back and the remainder of her 200 dollar gift certificate was never used. Go to Spyre if you want to be grossly over charged and you enjoy pretentious hipsters pretending to be one with the universe. Breathe, Love, Pray...NAMASTE A$@ HOLES

Beautiful ambiance and exceptional meeting space!!! Lighting is great and the people was very pleasant and welcoming.

Need more towels and more than one hot tub, and the restaurant closed before 4pm without warning. I also suggest they have flip flops (kind of like the inexpensive nail salon ones) for sale. Bathroom was incredibly clean, however, didn't have lotion. And for a wellness spa, it was disappointing that there was absolutely no sanitizer around - not in the dining area, bathroom, receptionist area- nowhere. This is the reason for four stars. However, the receptionist was incredibly welcoming and kept us informed about our services and appointment times. We booked 30 minute sessions for the hot and cold plunge tubs, and a 30 minute session for the sauna. However, with 30 minutes to spare for in the truly warm, luxurious heated pool. I loved the plunge tubs, especially the hot- but an outdoor heated pool in February surrounded by beautiful architecture and luscious tropical trees was an especially healing, nurturing treat. Would absolutely return. Restaurant had some wonderful probiotic drink, kombucha and tea options for standard prices.

My cousin and I signed up for a pilates class and it was amazing. Niki is the best instructor. I will definitely return for more classes.

Great place to spend the day! Wifi and comfortable work spots are available inside and outside. There is a cafe, quite expensive, but delicious. Workout classes are great and they offer a heated studio. The other amenities are countless- cold plunge, sauna, etc.

Jessica’s rogue yoga class was so perfect. It was a perfect bending over backwards sequence for mind and body. Her teaching style is just wonderful and it’s Disarming how humble and funny she is. She really has put in the work. I can’t believe how sore my butt is today.

This space reflects a seamless integration of body and mind.

Beautiful place to make time for peace and self-care

Spyre has been my favorite yoga studio in the city for a few years now. The instructors are wonderful, the space itself is so beautiful and refreshing. You can tell it used to be a church because, for the space of practicing yoga, the energy is immaculate. I also love the HIIT and Sculpt + Tone classes. The Well Cafe inside of Spyre is so good too, they have many vegetarian and vegan options. And their hot and cold plunge as well as the pool is great. The staff is also super helpful too.

Omgomgomg eye-opening experience! Such a great place for a chill self-care afternoon and some lap-swimming. Hydrotherapy’s a must!

My mom and I had a fantastic spa day at Spyre; we started with the infrared sauna, then both got a massage, did the dry float, had lunch, then the hydrotherapy tanks. My massage was the best I've ever had and she was very aware and accommodating to my disability. I also loved seeing a handicap accessible shower in the locker room for those who may need it. The dry float was a very relaxing experience, we had some technical difficulties with the headphones so we weren't able to listen to music or a meditation but it was still enjoyable. For lunch we both got a salad and I got the matcha, I was unsure of the salt and pepper in the matcha but it was perfect and didn't need to be sweetened. We finished with a smoothie on our way out and it was the perfect pick-me-up we needed. All the food was delicious, clean, light, and reasonably priced. The hydrotherapy tanks were our favorite (second to the massage of course). We both fit in the hot tank together with room to spare and one of us went into the cold tank at a time. We both have chronic pain and it really helped us! The bungalow the tanks are in is private and adorned with beautiful orchids and pathos. I will definitely be back to do this again. Overall it's a very calming, open, and clean space. I felt like I was transported back to SoCal and forgot I was in the middle of the city. Once you're there it's hard to leave!

Spyre has been my place for alternative healing & self-work. I love this community.

The building was once the home of a church— now, a revamped workout center. One of my friends hosted a yoga Welldown Wednesday class here and I attended. This was my first time at Spyre. Spyre Center is aesthetically pleasing and gives such a relaxing vibe. From my understanding there are a variety of classes held weekly ranging from Yoga, HIIT, Pilates, boxing, water aerobics, and many more! Staff was friendly upon arrival. Location is great (Uptown on Prytania). I can definitely see myself going back to take a class.

I LOVE this spot. New Orleans really needed something like this. It is more of a community space than a gym. I highly recommend.

Advertises as a holistic facility with spiritual sessions but when I arrived for a tour I was saddened to hear it is mainly used as a gym and members only get two free sessions, like yoga, per month. This place did not suit my needs of finding a spiritually centered group of people.

Extraordinary facility, services and staffing. A real gem for New Orleans!

Totally impressed with my first visit to Spyre. Jessica is an amazing yoga teacher. She has a big following and I now understand why. She exudes poise, loving concern and confidence at once, while remaining radiant. Best of all, she made it ok to be (incredibly) imperfect.

visiting from out of town and was looking to shed some mardi gras calories.. took a saturday afternoon hiit / yoga class with mark berger (@markbergernola). great facilities, great studios, great class! guest class was responsibly priced and they had everything i needed for a successful workout. i will be back!

I went their for a yoga class. They have great facilities, two yoga studios, one swimming pool and also a cafe. Lots of seating and friendly staff.
