I have ordered the chicken tikka empanadas and other types of empanadas from the Bites and Bowls food truck at least twenty times over the past years, and I can genuinely say they are top quality every time. Other empanadas from food trucks in the area are cold in the middle or lack filling. Bites and Bowls is fairly priced, their empanadas are fresh and hot all the way through, and they are generously sized and filled. The gentleman running the truck is always courteous and serves orders with a smile. I wish the food truck went to more locations. It is worth standing in line for these empanadas. Simply superb, 10/10.

The cafe is inside an office building and can be difficult to find for someone who does not work in that building. The food was good, however, the advertising online confused me because it looks like it was Mexican food (which they have) but they have mostly other items, like salads, sandwiches, and more. The menu and marketing is definitely a little confusing but overall good food and prices.

First it’s difficult to get to, had to get buzzed into a parking garage, and then buzzed into the tower through intercom with security. But worse of all they burnt the empanadas, they taste burnt, now I’m stopping somewhere else to buy lunch after all the hassle to get them.

My last review I gave 4 stars and I wrote about the quality of chicken in the empanadas going down. The owner made a swift change and I got big beautiful chunks of chicken breast in the empanadas. His customer service is BEYOND! Thank you for taking the feedback so well and reminding me why I keep coming back!

Once in a while you wish there was 6 stars. The food was amazing, the story of acquiring it equally so. Did a pit stop walking my dog in the park behind the restaurant. Came upon the food truck, which was being parked after an event. I asked the gentleman if the main restaurant was open, he said they’d be opening in 30 min, as they’d just finished an event. He asked what I was interested in, I said I’d love to try a bowl, but was traveling and needed to continue on. He offered to go make a bowl and bring it out to me. Many thanks!

This place is so awesome by far a delicious combination fusion, it's a mixture of Guyanese meets Spanish. Very flavorful I had the Jerk Chicken Empanadas before and the Fusion Bowl. I only had this 2x not even disappointed. I plan trying other food from here..🤤 Great food for a great price plus I like this cute little area here in Milltown.

The food is absolutely amazing! So fresh! The empanadas are delicious…my personal favorite is the cauliflower! Had a chicken sandwich from the truck one day…the pad Thai…one thing is better then the next! On top of it, the owner is just the nicest man! If you haven’t tried it your missing out!

I've ordered from here a decent amount of times already and the quality of their empanadas and bowls have always been consistently great. While not all of their empanada flavors are on the same level, there is an interesting variety of flavors from spicy to sweet to savory. I highly recommend their chicken tikka empanadas and their paneer tikka masala bowls.

Their empanadas are hands down the best. They're soo flavorful!! Careful of the jerk chicken cause it squirts out on you! But so delicious! Don't need sauce because it's so flavorful!!

The place is very good. Takeout was really easy and each plate is made fresh. The best place to eat in town.

The empanadas are AMAZING, especially the jerk chicken. The outside is crispy and the inside is so flavorful, there's chicken in every bite. I hope they expand their menu and add more "bites"!!! And desserts! Perhaps cheesecake empanadas?? I also really enjoyed the chicken tikka bowl. Really huge portions! I hope they can also add kati rolls to the menu! Also love the covid precautions they are taking to keep customers safe.

My girlfriend and I were searching for something different and we hit the jackpot with B&B. We ordered a sampling menu and can tell you unequivocally that the empanadas are stellar. All the food is full of flavor and the portions are generous. This is a place that deserves to be busy all the time. And the owner is a real gentleman too.

Visited them on a whim at the Rutgers Gardens Farmers Market. Best empanadas I ever had. The Chicken Tikka and Korean were the highlight. Can’t wait to try more.

Bites and Bowls empanadas are sheer deliciousness. Everytime I order them I am pleasantly surprised. The flavors are outstanding. This is a place that is roadtrip worthy!

The food for the most part is good, but they are way too inconsistent. What they have online is not what they actually have. Not to mention when they say they're open, they're not! I tried to order a big catering event and no one answered the phone. I went there in person and it was closed (and didn't look like it would be opening anytime soon). On their own website (AND DOOR) it said they would be open. Not getting my business anytime soon. I'm really disappointed

When I went to the food truck festival a couple months ago and I tried their food and it was amazing. I went to the official restaurant today, was not good at all. Everything was luke warm and the rice was hard. The empanadas (korean and the tikka masala one) tasted funny and was full of grease. I expected the restaurant to be as good as their amazing food truck experience but it was not.

This place is truly fusion! I loved their empanadas - Korean bulgogi, Chipotle paneer, Chicken Tikka and jerk Chicken. All were good except for jerk Chicken. The protions are really good for the price. The lady at the counter was very courteous and helpful. We will visit again soon!

This is a very very nice restaurant items and various types of grilled items are available here like GRILL SANDWICH, CHINESE, MANCHURIAN etc and all items serve here are very delicious!

I found this place on Yelp and after reading some reviews I thought I'd give it a try. I got the jerk chicken and chicken tikka empanadas. They were sooo good! My daughters had a chicken tikka burrito and a quesadilla. All of the food was great and the flavors were very authentic. The owners were very nice and even gave us some extra food to try since they were closing. I will definitely come back here. I want to try the other empanada flavors.

Very good food and the people are very friendly and the place is very clean. This place is definitely what Milltown and East Brunswick needs. Something other than pizza When you go there try the tika bowl, it'll change your life

Absolutely delicious Indian food as well as scrumptious empanadas. I haven't tried the thai or Mexican food because since they opened, I've been getting Indian food and can't get enough of it :-)

They are going under new menu. So is not what you want is what they have if you want it. Hopefully the new menu brings what we all want.

Great food at reasonable prices. I had the burrito. Good size portion, no bones, stems or fat, just delicious food. I've had Indian food, Mexican, and Thai, they are able to combine all and make it better than they taste individually. They definitely know what they are doing!

We had catering done and EVERYONE loved the food. I was being asked throughout the Super Bowl game where Bites and Bowls is located, and i certainly shared. The food was better then I have eaten in a while. I will being ordering again and again. I am bringing our friends so they can experience how good the food is. It is a very nice change from the food that is in the area.

This is truly the best place for a great variety of food for reasonable price. From Mexican to Italian, Thai to Indian, the options are extensive. There is tons of flavor in every bite and the bowls are so filling! The quesadillas are so delicious and one of a kind. Kids just loved the pasta, it is so much more delicious and flavorful than just plain spaghetti and marinara sauce that is served elsewhere. This restaurant is definitely in my family's favorite list.
