This place is amazing!! Chris and Sara did an exceptional job catering our post-wedding brunch. They really went above and beyond. The food was delicious, everything was delivered perfectly, and they even threw in some thoughtful personal touches that blew us away. I wish I could eat their breakfast sandwiches every single week!! Thank you both!!

Maverick’s recently delivered breakfast for my very hungry wedding party— 30 people in total. Their delivery was right on time, warm, professional, and speedy. Their breakfast sandwiches and burritos were revitalizing. All our guests raved about how good they were! Their gluten free bagels and sandwiches hit the spot. They brought fun sauces and spreads without being asked, that complimented their food perfectly. I wish I lived closer to Maverick’s so I could enjoy their food more often!

These folks are the best! Absolutely delicious breakfast sandwiches and smoothies - we had a huge group order (with a diverse number of items) and they were so friendly and amazingly accommodating. Showed up to pick up our order and everything was labeled for ease, packed carefully, and the order was 100% accurate. If you're coming through New Lebanon, this is the place to go for a wonderful breakfast or lunch! We'll be back.

Sandwiches all hellllla good. They are a little more on the pricey side but still very good sandwich. If ever passing through there again would definitely stop

This is a great place to get thoughtfully prepared food with high quality ingredients. I truly enjoy the owner and staff, and love coming into this place. Their bagels are always fresh, never day-old, just delicious. Great coffee and a feckin' great no nonsense bacon egg and cheese my friends. Lots and lots of sandwich options, smoothies, lemonade, muffins, croissants and who knows what else. Prices, food, and people that make it hard for me to resist on a more or less daily basis. It's one of the best options in town and reasonable prices - for me it's the one place I can feel comfortable going to regularly and pick up the tab for my daughter and her friends without stressing too much. Atmosphere is comfortable down-home rural style.

Prompt service. Chef has him self setup well, the work station seems kept clean and neat. He was extremely quick on the blackstone/griddle, busting out two sandwiches for me early in the morning. You can just stop reading at the first menu item and go for the Riley. You won't regret it! Delicious time and time again. Baked goods were amazing , too. Thoughtful and attentive enough to not put hot and cold to-go items together.

Very expensive and they do have specialty items and specialty fruits and vegetables .

What a great addition to the neighborhood. If you are anywhere near, make sure you stop here.

This is my daughter's favorite place to get breakfast in Columbia County. Super friendly staff, games to play while you wait, and delicious food. And they are the home of a community refrigerator. Great place!

Every time I come through the area I try to stop here, even if just for a coffee, but it’s always a great day when I have the time to grab a sandwich. The service is amazing and the staff are as awesome as the food. I can’t recommend one menu item over any other because I can’t decide on a favorite. So I guess I would say start at the top and work your way down the list. I also find it pretty amazing how much the owner cares about the place, his people and his good. If you are local I suggest this place become a regular stop, if you’re coming from somewhere else, I highly suggest you stop at Mavericks or you will be missing out horribly. …… oh also the baked goods are amazing too. Get a cupcake.

Not only do me and my kiddos eat at Mavericks on a weekly basis (because their food is amazing and their staff is so incredibly kind🤩- think mega hometown vibes) BUT we recently used them for catering as well and it was FANTASTIC! All of the guests couldn’t get over how delicious Chris’ baked ziti was!! We also got a Greek salad with that which was also very tasty! Mavericks always goes out of their way to serve with kindness. Everyone is so personable & friendly! Their food and employees are top tier and I am so incredibly thankful that we have such a wonderful place in our community! The baked good are incredible as well!!! I absolutely love Mavericks and so do my kids! It’s so hard to go anywhere else because nothing ever compares! Three cheers for Mavericks!!😁♥️

I even got to see a few people from the community benefiting from it while I smelled my delicious sandwich being prepared!

A Small Town Gem with a Big Heart I recently visited Maverick’s Deli in a charming small town and my experience was nothing short of exceptional, compelling me to give a rare 5-star review! The first thing that caught my eye was the generous giveaway for the needy right outside - a thoughtful touch that speaks volumes about the community spirit here. Inside, the ambiance is unassuming with just two people running the show. But don’t let that fool you. The man behind the counter, who I learned is the owner, was a maestro in sandwich-making. He swiftly assembled five mouthwatering meals within minutes, infusing each sandwich with meticulous care that you could taste in every bite. We ordered four sandwiches and drinks, and the bill was just $51. Given the quality, quantity, and the heartwarming experience, it felt like a steal. It's rare for me to award 5 stars, especially with my thousands of reviews under my belt. I usually dock a star for ambiance, but the combination of the owner’s dedication, the delicious sandwiches, and the value for money made it an easy decision this time. Maverick’s Deli is a testament to what small-town eateries should aspire to - amazing food, reasonable prices, and a big heart. Highly recommended!

Top quality sandwiches and food. I got the Italian sandwich. Ingredients were fresh and there was a perfect quantity of meat and cheese. Sandwich hit the spot after a morning of skiing.

Not only are the staff very friendly and accommodating but so are the other customers! Great food too! Definitely worth a stop if you haven’t.

The atmosphere is that of a small walk-in deli with decent decor. They offer a large variety of sandwiches, salads, and dessert. I have enjoyed all of the menu items, especially The Rita and Goose. The high prices make it a once or twice a month lunch spot for me. I work nearby. The fact that they do offer a free community refrigerator is wonderful. Perhaps a donation of could equal a lunch discount l. I did experience 2 disappointments here recently. Our organization placed a lunch order of atleaat 8 people. Upon pick up, no one offered the Mac salad or chips that come with the meal. I did not realize it until a few hours later. There was no opportunity for us, during work, to go retrieve the items even if we did call and complain. They seem to be able to determine when one is allowed to purchase their yummy ice tea/ lemonade mix. That has left me pretty sad!! I would say 3.5, but that is not an option.

We used Mavericks for our wedding breakfast catering (at the Ruins at Sassafrass in New Lebanon NY) at the end of October, and we couldn't be happier with the entire process. We had them cater breakfasts for both the grooms party and the brides party, and the farewell brunch the next morning. They also did desserts for the wedding reception. Chris, the owner, was an absolute joy to work with from start to finish! His kindness and responsiveness made the entire process seamless. On the big day, he not only hand delivered the delicious breakfast on time, but also handled the setup flawlessly. It was such a relief to have someone so professional and attentive ensuring everything ran smoothly. We're truly grateful for Chris' dedication to making our day perfect! The farewell brunch was for 30 guests, and Chris made sure we had everything we needed. Everyone was raving about his homemade sauces, and they still are! From the perfectly sweet and smoky Maple Sriracha sauce to the chipotle aioli, each sauce added a burst of flavor that elevated the entire breakfast experience. If you are looking for allergy friendly desserts for your wedding – this is the place to get them! I let Chris know that we needed gluten-free and dairy free desserts, and his wonderful wife, Sara, absolutely delivered! Our guests are still complementing the variety of desserts, and how delicious each one was! We ended up having apple walnut Blondies, gluten-free truffle brownie bars, maple French toast cupcakes, dairy free cupcakes, and delicious gluten-free chocolate chip cookies. Not only were the desserts delicious – they were super budget friendly! Thank you so much to Chris, Sara, and the Mavericks team for making our wedding weekend stress-free and full of delicious food!

11/6/23 Had to return for more smoked salmon on everything bagel sandwiches with all the trimmings to go. Managed to travel all the way to Scranton, PA before enjoying this excellent meal. See photo of sandwich freshly unwrapped. I am not a "sandwich person", but I think Maverick's smoked salmon bagel has converted me! Thank you. Alas, I live 12 hours away so I will have to wait until my next visit to return, but I definately will be back. 114/23 Awesome cafe with gracious staff. Husband/wife team welcome you and serve up fantastic sandwiches. The lox on everything bagel was absolutely delicious! A variety of coffees, beverages, and pastries available. Nice sitting area. These folks also host the local food bank cooler. So, fresh produce/bread is available for anyone in need from the cooler or boxes inside and outside the cafe. Thank you for a great breakfast! It is great you are providing access to food security for the community! 👍

My favorite breakfast and lunch place in New Lebanon. I've been working in this town for four years, so trust me: I've had my share of ALL the local eats. Mavericks is #1 for breakfast and lunch in my book. Their baked goods are on a whole 'nother level also. I've never gone wrong eating here. My new favorite lunch is the egg bowl Favorite sandwich: the Maverick Wrap: Jaxx Dessert: Oatmeal lemon bar, the blondies (all the different ones), pecan bar...square..thing. (it's delicious whatever it's called)

I used mavericks to cater a party I was having and I couldn’t have been happier!!!! They gave us a wide variety of sandwiches. And they were totally happy to accommodate any food allergies/limitations we had. They not only gave us delicious sandwiches but also they gave us a great selection of vegetarian and gluten free sandwiches. We got a cookie platter which was delicious too!!!!! And the side macaroni and potato salads were excellent!!!! Really delicious quality food at affordable prices!!!!! I would definitely recommend them for a catering event. I know I will be using them again. An absolute pleasure to work with.
