New favorite local spot. I don't know her name but the younger lady who works up front even remembered our order just after going there a couple times and had it ready before we even made it to the front of the line. Inexpensive home cooked food plus decent coffee.

I eat here all the time! The staff is so nice and helpful. The food is great! The doughnut holes are to die for!

Breakfast sandwich was made fresh to order and was outstanding. Size is perfect for price. Donuts are amazing soft and fluffy. So much better than Krispy Cream. My first time here and I will definitely be back.

Got the sausage egg and cheese croissant and it had a ton of egg shells in it. Doughnuts were all right - thankfully you can’t screw up glaze.

Update: They have spinach! I added a star. ;) The food is good. Service is too. Wish they had spinach or other greens to put in their burritos, though.

Great service and the breakfast burrito was banging. I got a couple of doughnuts haven't tried them yet but they look great.

1st time stopping in today and I'm glad I did. I got the chicken sausage croissant sandwich with egg and a strawberry donut. It was fresh and delicious. Unfortunately food got destroyed before I could snap a pic 😂 Side note: I left my shades on the counter and the lady brought them out to my car. She was awesome. Great customer service and food. I will def be back.

Great place to stop and have breakfast, coffee , donuts or more . Donuts are always fresh and workers always are polite and fast ! Breakfast burritos are delicious, make a stop 🍩❤️

Best donuts in Atlanta for sure and at least as good as the best donuts I've had in Chicago, LA, and New York. The breakfast bagel sandwiches are incredible as well. Really friendly staff that remember my name after only a couple of visits. Don't miss the cinnamon sugar twist, apple fritter, or buttermilk donuts, along with their classic plain glazed. It is worth going way out of the way for Rays. Update: Long-term customer now and still absolutely love Rays. I'd eat their donuts unfrosted and unglazed.

A perfect 7am stop to start my day— I grace the apple fritter and a small coffee and didn’t feel taken advantage of in either price or quality. I tasted the freshness of the pastry, and it was described precisely to how it tasted and was textured: crispy with a soft inside finish, and might I as well balanced in sweetness—not overwhelming with the apple flavor or the glaze atop. The coffee was hot and fresh, and with a splash of Italian sweet cream and a teaspoon of sugar, created the perfect beverage companion for this morning bite. Solid shop with smiling faces.

First time stopping in. Grabbed an assortment of doughnuts to take to a meeting. Customer service was great, I was offered good suggestions for doughnuts. Meeting participants were excited to hear I had stopped at Ray's. The doughnut I had was light and airy and delish!

Delicious food and not that costly

Had a great first experience here! I came 30 minutes to close and they still had a good selection of donuts, but I was happy to see they were able to do their breakfast sandwiches and coffee that late! Coffee was good and hot, I got a Bagel sandwich and it was delicious, and I tried a few of their donuts. Will definitely be back..I got all that for $12 which is unheard of! This place reminds me of a shop I found in San diego and I'm happy to have it close by.

Donuts are fantastic but price hikes are steep. 4 donuts for 10.50? Guess I'll enjoy just one next time. 🤷 breakfast sandwiches are on the small side you may need 2.

The food is good . Donuts are tasty however the service is terrible the owner is soooo rude and has no customer service.she literally throws your food across the counter ! I will never patronize here again .

Have gone here several times for my second family! Always fresh,delicious and great service! Never annoyed customers or hear attitude like so many other places.

Always a great place to grab donuts or a breakfast sandwich. Definitely recommend the sandwich and the bear claw is 10/10. Th staff is always so nice, friendly and efficient

Rays has always been good when I’ve had the time to stop and get food. But this week I have stopped 3 times whoever this new cook is the sausage, bacon,egg,potato and cheese burrito has been delicious. It is seasoned to perfection with every bite being savory. Keep doing whatever you’re doing…..also the Apple fritter is remarkable. Week of march 18 - 22

A perfect donut for everyone. The iced coffee is great. It's always nice 2 visit when I'm back on this side of town. The donuts are awesome and u can't beat the breakfast sandwiches. It's almost like a NY bodega.

I noticed the donuts and pastries are good, but could be better, they are liking in flavor. I had a cinnamon roll. I couldn’t smell the cinnamon or taste the cinnamon need more flavor and the donuts can use more flavor more flavor. I will return to see if there are any changes.

Great customer service and donuts! I came in a little late in the day so there were very few donuts left. Staff graciously offered to glaze and add sprinkles to the last plain donut they had. Their sour cream donut is a must try!

These are the best people. Used to always get my donuts for the office from Dunkin’, but I tried ray’s one day and have not been back to Dunkin’s since. They’re always extremely welcoming and truly love what they do. Not to mention, they do it very well.

Update:12/11/23 I haven't been here in a while, and this by far was the worst experience. With that said, I won't be returning regardless of how much we enjoy the donuts, sandwiches, and smoothies. According to the pricing on the screen, must I say it's so misleading. Mixed donuts aren't the actual price displayed. Basically, you have to get the donuts of their chose to have assorted(mixed as they state). Let's say I wasn't happy about the pricing(which all the pricings will be attached). Not only that, it's an African American young lady who works here. I was asking her questions regarding pricing as she was ringing me up. The lady that's been there for a while rudely interrupted her as she was answering my question. The young lady instantly closed her mouth, mumbled with giving an apology. She stated, "I'm sorry, but I can't say anything because I got in trouble for answering someone else question the other day." That instantly pisssed me off. African Americans are the ones you guys mostly get business from, but behind the scene your rude and nasty to the race that helps keep your business open. 🙄 This place has the best donuts. My kids ask to go here every morning before school.

You can get donuts on the way to work in Decatur and lunch at rays is the best! There are several locations around Atlanta please visit all of them:-)

Place is well maintained very clean, everyone was friendly and smiling, doughnuts were great, bagel with sausage/ cheese was great…. Oh and when I opened the box I found surprise doughnut holes😍 Go in there ASAP and support these folks I promise they will treat you better than any chain place.

The donuts were good and fresh. You must eat them the same day the following day they started to get stale.

I usually love this place, but this morning it took them 49mins to make 2 sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches… I watched 3people who placed orders after me leave out. I won’t be coming back unless I call in.

Friendly staff. Excellent sausage, egg and cheese croissant or egg and cheese. Cooked from scratch. I'm sure the other sandwiches and burritos are as well. Tasty drinks. Even have boba. Smoothies, cold drinks and hot drinks too.

I have so many pictures to upload because I’ve been going to this place almost every morning this week 😩. My sister bought me a bagel and I’ve been stuck ever since. They even have the perfect Thai tea. It’s so sweet 😋😋😋. The bagel reminds me of papis store in New York. Such nostalgic feelings every time I take a bite. I don’t know who’s making my sausage, egg and cheese bagel, but they definitely make it with love. It doesn’t taste like that artificial fake bagel from Dunkin’ or the weird egg they put on there. It’s homemade with love. Can’t wait to go back tomorrow 🥰🥰🥰

Friendly place with a wide variety of flavors. Very easy access from Tara Blvd near Battle Creek Rd. The exterior looks a little dated and there's handwritten signs about the cash shortage. There's also signs to warn you not to spend less than $3 on a debit/credit card to avoid a fee. There's all kinds of safety glass and safety measures in place, you are encouraged to wear a mask. The donuts are great, much better than the commercial big chain donut shops. Definitely worth a try for no frills delicious sugary treat. The hours are morning to mid afternoon so go early to get all the choices. If you wait like I did until an hour before closing you'll get whats remaining.
