Chicken salad that I get is really good

When ordering at the drive-thru please take into consideration that they don’t care. I was argued with in front of multiple customers when I brought my sandwich back, because it had nothing on it. I ordered [the Chick] and the lady told me I needed to tell her I wanted tomatoes and lettuce—yet the sandwich is suppose to come with that already. I’ve never heard of a place arguing with customers. Especially, coming out from the back just to tell the customer off. Then, asking me "Anything else for YOUR inconvenience?" Just wanted a sandwich remade and wasn’t trying to make a scene. Thank you to the manager for bringing the sandwich back out.

Love love this place. I enjoy the sassy Scotty and a side of broccoli salad. The cups they use for salad have a false bottom about half an inch up so you get much less. That I understand but they need to fill them up. They only put about half way up and that combined with false bottom made it very little food. I mentioned it to girl at counter when I ordered another side of broccoli and she gladly sold me another 5.00 side. They did fill this one up but at this point I’ve spent way too much. Little dissatisfied but this can be corrected.

This is the sweetest restaurant to go to in lake charles. I just love the people and atmosphere

I went to chicken salad chick because my Boss asked me too it’s her favorite so as I pulled up to the drive thru I ordered her a Dixie chick and large sassy Scotty . Mind you I’ve never been here before . And the lady asked “ what kind of Dixie chick ? A container or what “ I said “ one second please let me call my boss I’m not sure “ She says “ Well girl I don’t know either “ In such a rude tone . I wanted to order me something also because I wanted to try it but her attitude really put me off . So I get to the window and of course my car sits low and she’s handing me my card and says “ girl I ain’t stretching all the way down there “ She honestly ruined my whole afternoon with her attitude I didn’t understand. So yeah probably won’t go back EVER The fact that I had to give my money to a place with such horrible customer service had me disgusted

Great atmosphere, very friendly, super clean and food was FANTABULOUS!!

What an experience!!! This was my first time eating at a Chicken Salad Chick. As soon as we walked in, the atmosphere was alive and vibrant and the restaurant was super clean! We were greeted by the owner, Cindy Self, within moments of our arrival. She explained the menu to us and offered samples of the different chicken salad flavors because it was my first time. I tasted the Jalapeño Holly, which was good. I tasted the Kickin’ Kay Lynne, but landed on the seasonal Dillicious Diva. The Dillicious Diva got my attention right from the beginning. The cucumber & dill provided a perfect balance of refreshed excitement. I opted for the Dillicious Diva on the chicken salad melt and was not disappointed. The warm and flaky croissant was amazing, and to complement it, I had the broccoli soup which was very tasty. Bathrooms were very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I love Chicken Salad Chick & will definitely be back! Lake Charles got more than it bargained for with Mrs Cindy Self and her Chicken Salad Chick Store.

I've eaten here a few times and every time was great. Anything you pick will be fresh and awesome. One thing you must try is the grape salad. It's white and red grapes in a sauce that I'm guessing is a creamy sweet sauce. It goes together well. The staff is kind and friendly. I recommend that you visit this place at least one!

Pasta salad was very good. Signs in men's restrooms were funny, too. Good fast service. The parking lot was crowded but the restaurant was not.

Emma the cashier was the absolute sweetest and the most helpful with the menu!

I very much enjoyed the food! However, as many times as I’ve been to the drive thru, I’ve had ONE pleasant experience as far as service. Multiple occasions whoever was working the window was blatantly rude! Just out of pocket rude comments when asking for more information about the menu, or feeling rushed through my order.

I just had an encounter with the ignorant worker at this location. My husband and I was attempting to order and some "RUDE" person was rushing us, while we were asking about the sizes of the salad scoops. I have been to other locations and had sandwiches, not the scoops. We drove off and will never return to patronize this location. Whomever was on the mic, acted mentally ill. THE END!!!

Everyone who works here is always so nice. One of our favorite places to grab take out.

The owner, whose name I regrettably can't remember, came and sat with me as I waited while my to-go order was prepared. We had a wonderful conversation revealing how CSC came to be in Lake Charles. I thanked her for bringing delicious, reasonably priced, good-for-you food to us. I've tried just about every chicken salad; my personal favorite is Dixie Chick. The pimento cheese tastes like my grandmother's recipe.

I plan to get by and try the food. It looks incredible. I called in to ask questions about a few things on the menu and was pleasantly surprised by how patient and friendly the lady was that answered the phone. I give her 5 stars based on this particular interaction alone. I can’t wait to get by and try it. If the food is as excellent as this lady was helpful then I am sure it will be a slam dunk! Stay tuned…

Cutest little chicken deli ... This is a new restaurant in our town and it is so good... It serves only Chicken salad but has all different kinds... Am looking forward to trying them all.. The service was fantastic... You order at the counter and get your own drinks but the workers do check on you and are so sweet..

Have yet to have a bad experience since they opened. Even on the busiest days, they always have just what we want & great service.

The owners came and greeted us, asked if it was our first visit, and explained the menu. Offered many selections (the Dill Diva was excellent, btw). The husband ordered the triple scoop (classic cs, cs Kelli, and broccoli salad. Very clean, relaxed atmosphere, extremely friendly staff and wonderful food. A definite go-to for us.

Love the sassy Scotty! This place is so good. There are several choices of chicken salad mixtures, only one has onions and you cannot add onions to anything.

I have met both of the owners because they went out of their way to great me and welcome me. Very sweet people. The food is great, so light and refreshing in this heat.

The atmosphere of this place is great. It’s clean and friendly. The staff was nice and gave us recommendations. The service was quick. They give you a number and you find a seat. Then they will bring your food out to you. They also provided a delicious little treat for you!

Great fresh bread with tasty chicken salad for my sandwich! Mac and cheese was creamy and delicious. The broccoli salad was amazing, it was savory with the perfect amount of sweet. Highly recommend trying this place!

Since the busy newness has died down, my wife and I took the kids and were very pleased. Quality food, very clean , good service and the decor was very nicely done . Very comfortable dining area. We will definitely be back for more of their fresh deliciousness 😋

My first time to visit the LC store. I went thru drive thru to pick up the order. Unfortunately, I should have checked my order before I drove away, as they completely messed the order up and did not give me what I had ordered. I called the manager and was disappointed in the response. I’m a fan of the franchise as I frequent their shops in the Birmingham AL area. LC needs this restaurant - I hope this franchise can meet the expectations of their diners.

Good chicken salad. Service was great. Atmosphere is the best of all salad shops. Wish they did more salads, instead of traditional chicken salads.
