They worked quickly to manage the line and answered all our questions with enthusiasm. They were patient as the four of us sampled nearly every flavor before making our selections, making us feel welcome and valued. The ice cream here is the best I’ve ever had. If your family is a group of ice cream snobs like mine, do yourself a favor and stop here. All the flavors we had were excellent, coffee chip being the best I’ve ever had and my wife said the dark chocolate was to die for. Waffle cones were great too and scoop sizes made you feel like you got your moneys worth. The owner and his employee worked fast to get us through the line and happily answered any questions we had. You can tell making small batch-homemade ice cream is that man’s passion and it shows.

We’ve been coming here for over a year now. Never had a bad experience. The ice cream quality is outstanding. Flavors are authentic and not overly sweet. Limited selections because everything is made in house in small batches. Love it!

First timer and out-of-towner. Came up from Georgia for my son’s Marine Corps graduation. I wanted a sweet treat and stumbled across this shop. Sampled the Lemon Chiffon and loved it! Taste was reminiscent of Savannah smile Girl Scout cookie. So good!!!

Probably the best I've cream I've had! Went back the next day for more because I couldn't get enough. The Oreo flavor was amazing. Love that they make small batches and pricing is reasonable. Will have to go again next time I'm visiting.

Best ice cream in area by a mile. Wish they would stay open later in the summer. Maybe 9PM! We go after eating out at local restaurants but 8PM is a little early even for a 6PM reservation.

I don't know how he does it, but it's by far the creamiest, most delicious ice cream I've ever had. His Salted Caramel and Strawberry are on another planet. Pricier than store-bought and some other shops, but he charges a premium for a reason. It's a superior product. Highly recommended.

We thought they closed at 10, unfortunately they close at 9… We walked in at 8:58 as they were cleaning but still took our order, and the ice cream is fantastic! We will definitely be back next time we are down here!

I have to say I am a Ice-cream Addic. I was only in town for a few days and came here twice in 24hours. This place needs 6 stars and was the highlight of my sugar addiction while being in the area. I have a lot of reviews on ice-cream shops from Seattle to here and this one by far has notched a top 3 contender. As far as not being the nicest staff. Management was reserved and that's OK because small business owners are continually underpressure. The young kid working was jolly and my experience was very nice. Cheers to making a product the rest of the Country needs to enjoy as well.

If I lived in the Beaufort area, this would definitely be my regular "hang-out" place. The front half of this storefront is like a welcoming living room --- spacious & modern, yet cozy with cool lighting and great artwork by local talent. Most importantly, the ice cream is divine. I've tried many flavors - cups, cones, & shakes. YUM! Plus, the owner is a super nice guy who aims to please. I highly recommend that locals and visitors make Stellar Ice Cream a "must stop" the next time you're on Lady's Island. You won't be disappointed.

My husband brings our daughter here a few times a year, as a" Special Father, Daughter Day" secret between the two of them. Mommy isn't suppose to know,...lol!!! They have been doing this since the opening of the store. I'd have to say, Stellar Ice Cream, must have that something special that keeps my husband & daughter coming back!!!

Went here fairly late one evening with my family. We all tried different things. I tried the salted caramel and also an orange flavor. Both were decent, but nothing special. Certainly not the best Ice cream like all the reviews are saying. The staff seemed rush and not the friendliest. It also smelled like body odor inside, but it may have been some kind of cleaning spray or something. I was also disappointed to see NO vegan or sugar free flavors. Prices were a little high. I may be willing to come back yo give it another try in the future if they expand the menu and are more welcoming.

We stopped here multiple times in one week while vacationing in the area. Everything was SO good! The Oreo sherbet was just amazing and the mint Oreo crunch was so good I didn’t even get a photo before I had eaten most of it. They let us sample flavors before deciding on one or two in a cup, waffle cone, or milkshake. We tried the lemon chiffon, strawberry, Snickers, and salted caramel; they were great! You must go!

Nice little ice cream shop. Has a checker table to play on, and is decorated modern. We ordered strawberry sorbet and it tasted great.

Found this place while running an errand to Grayco. Thought I’d give it a try and so glad I did! Their ice cream is so creamy, smooth and beyond delicious! I’ve always been only so so about vanilla ice cream but their’s is the best I’ve ever had. I am a HUGE fan of their Killa Vanilla!!! Loved it so much that I bought a pint to go for my husband who has tried numerous versions of vanilla all over the world. He even agreed that it is of the best he’s also had. Will be bringing him next time to try some of the adult favors. Highly recommend this place to people of all ages! You won’t regret it!
