I don’t even know where to start. Stella’s is an absolute staple in downtown Ocala. Albert is an amazing Chef and his staff are phenomenal. We don’t just go to Stella’s for food, we go for the vibe, the energy, the connections and the wonderful people! If we go a couple days without making a stop at Stella’s, there are literal withdrawal symptoms, haha, we have to get our fix! The food is fresh and light with a European theme and of course there’s wine - it’s ALWAYS wine-o-clock and Stella’s. Albert is also a fantastic pastry chef so you can’t go wrong with any of the sweet treats. As if the food wasn’t enough, you can also shop around in the cozy boutique and find random gifts or kitchen essentials. They can get busy during the rush so be patient, have a glass of wine because that helps. I could go on but there’s no words to describe the wonderful place that Stella’s is to us! You have to go and see for yourself.

Absolutely fabulous!! Adorable atmosphere and unique offerings both food-wise and gift-wise. Very pricey, but worth it…just can’t go as often as one might like. Greek owner is a delight!

I was so impressed and delighted with my service here. I called in a week ahead for a "simple" cake for my 4-year-old's birthday. Not only did they throw together a lovely cake, but I forgot to pick it up and they graciously delivered it to my home, free of charge! This is customer service!

Delicious food and wonderful wines. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Interesting decor. Stella's did an absolutely amazing food and wine pairing dinner for the Ocala Symphony, so we had to go to their restaurant, and it didn't disappoint.

We make it a point to stop here whenever we are near Ocala. It’s that good!! The coffee is so amazing I am whisked back to the many European cafes I’ve visited. The entrees are so typical of European meals- this place is a MUST VISIT restaurant. If you want the same old greasy slop you get in every diner in Florida, don’t come here. If you want fresh meals with a gourmet flair this is for you. You will leave full and truly satisfied, not feeling like a belly full of grease. I could never rate it high enough! Absolutely delish. This place is always packed for a reason- it’s incredible!!

Just had the best breakfast flatbread. Chorizo and egg. So tasty. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Nice spot, clean, good breakfast according to my boyfriend. He had omelette with cheese. His drip coffee was as bad as my americano. I just got double shot americano coffee and it’s too light and served in a glass mug which Italians would consider a blasphemy and I couldn’t agree more. This place has bunch of stuff and looks like a gift shop from the outside and even sell various wine bottles. Note to the owner: get a better coffee and proper coffee cups.

The atmosphere is great, food is good quality, the price is a little high but worth it. I love the iced coffee drinks and would love to know how they make them! Great shop items as well!

This is my second review for Stella’s. We go here because we’re so impressed with the quality of every little thing. Last night I slid in just as they were closing. But still they were nothing but gracious and caring and accommodating. Did they slap something together, no. Everything we ordered was, as always, exquisite, prepared with great care. I enjoyed a fabulous Malbec as I waited. This is truly the best kept secret in Ocala. ssssshhh. 🤫 Thank you Stella’s

Had the Her Lover and the Village Salad. Everything tasted Excellent! Has a great vibe and atmosphere. One the best places in town! Fresh and delicious everytime!!!! Wouldn't recommend passing this place by.

I had given up hope on food experiences in Ocala. But stumbled upon Stella’s and am reborn. Their pantry/store has an eclectic mix for the gourmand to peruse, from excellent wine to funny kitchy niknack. The owner was perfectly friendly and catered to our tastebuds recommending and accompanying and exquisite lunch, the thin crust pizza with fine cheeses and prosciutto, which melted in one’s mouth like butta’ and a delicious panini with all fresh ingredients. The tastebud extravaganza was enjoyed with a suggested paired wine whilst enjoying the Al fresco experience of the Parisian-like cafe tables outside. Obviously I like this place. It’s an Ocala Oasis for epicurean in you.

My happy place!! I am from Rhode Island, but when I visit my best friend in Ocala this is our first stop! Wonderful people, quaint space with fun products, great food and great wine! Very welcoming :)

Finally, consistently great food in Downtown Ocala! No other place in the square (or near the square) is consistently outstanding. The only thing they could possibly do is have more hours they are open (as if anyone can find staff).

Loved it! Super chic and the food was amazing! I got the salmon Benedict which had amazing presentation and flavor. The sauce for the chibatta and the saled tasted different but blended well. She had the avocado toast which was properly crunch and avo was creamy. Their season blend of fruits was unique, in the best way, it had a cherry tomato looking fruit that we think was a yellow cherry? 10/10

The food, while tasty, the portion size for the price on the sandwiches is offensive.

An absolute gem in the middle of Ocala. We just love this place so much, it’s like little Europe in the heart of downtown. I strongly recommend you give it a try.

My go-to, when visiting Ocala. Wonderful wine and food selection. The owners and sommelier and attentive, and knowledgeable. I always enjoy a great meal, or coffee and desert, and leave with a case of well chosen wine!

Absolutely fantastic first-time experience. I went with my best friend today and she recommended this place. She has been before and told me I would love it. She was completely on point with that statement. Had the Spanish egg breakfast. Eggs cooked perfectly in cast iron skillet with pieces of chorizo. Has a side salad(awesome house dressing), some heirloom tomatoes dressed and the crispy bread. I used the butter and preservatives on some of the bread, and the egg on the rest. Taste, and texture with great presentation all flawless. Had a few mimosas, love the original of course, strawberry is good and the blackberry is my jam. The bubbly to fruit ratio is just how I like it. The essence of fruit! Dessert was a hard option. I needed something with chocolate so the chocolate mousse cake was happening. Freaking delicious. We were also suggested this pistachio bar. It reminded me of a pecan pie with gooey filling, had shaved almonds... no regrets it was toe curling yum. So yeah, already have plans to go back with several from my work crew. After sending pictures and talking about it we've made plans! If you haven't been here. Fix that situation and get inside of Stella's.

Met a friend here for lunch today: my first visit. Food was delicious 😋 and service was next level for a quaint little downtown shop. Plus the selection of wines and other unique merchandise was impressive 👏 Will definitely be back.

My husband and I decided to find a breakfast place outside of the Equestrian hotel. I looked this place up and thought the food sounded interesting and it had good reviews. Walking in we saw interesting items to buy, including food items, wine and high end kitchen items. This got my attention but it was a little confusing if we just sat or go to the counter. No sign, which would have been helpful. We walked behind a couple at the counter and they too didn’t know what to do but the man behind the counter kindly handed us paper menus and was helpful to give us suggestions. It was definitely a different menu than we are use to so I ordered the eggs with accompaniments and a earl grey latte and my husband ordered the Spanish eggs. Oh what a delight when it arrived. Presentation was beautiful. All the colors and you could tell the food looked fresh. The arugula salad had fresh heirloom tomatoes and an amazing house made garlic aioli and Parmesan cheese. They also had fresh toasted pieces of ciabatta bread with amazing jam and butter. My husband loved his Spanish eggs which came in a little iron square and had chunks of chorizo and cheese. I highly recommend this place. The man working behind the counter was very nice and I am definitely going back to get what he recommended which was the salmon salad. Also if you wanted to create your own charcuterie board, they have so many cheeses, olives, meats and wines. Go in open minded and don’t expect the typical diner fare with eggs, hash browns and biscuits.

We were so happy to find Stella's on our last day in Ocala. The breakfast food was fresh and delicious and it was the best Earl Gray Latte I have ever had. My husband raved about the Salmon Benedict. I will make it my picnic market the next time we are in town.

I had a lovely lunch at Stella's today. The staff across the street at Marion Cultural Alliance recommended them. Tried the house salad with a cup of coffee. The next time I will skip the salad and go straight to one of the wonderful looking desserts with some of the good coffee. Met Albert and D'Angelo today. D'Angelo recommended the Jamaican coffee for the next time.

Fantastic food that will leave you wanting more!!! Excellent customer service mixed with fun goodies and knickknacks from around the world. Seriously one of the coolest places in Ocala to visit.

Listed quiche on the menu. I drove all the way across town. NO QUICHE! (Only served every once in a while.) Won't be back try anything else on the menu that's not actually being served

Perfect spot to grab a treat. I had a mousse and espresso mid-day and it was a good way to treat myself. The staff is super friendly and the store is full of neat things.

Got the skinny on this place by finding out (My Corn-free board) that they sell Maine Root soda here from their rep Ed (from Bay Distributors.) What a wonderful place. It's chocked FULL of finds...home/kitchen items & cheeses, wines, pastries, salads 'n sandwiches. And charcuterie...all different kinds...we had an amazing lunch while watching the locals get ready for a parade event. Thank you, Albert & George!

First, if you live near Ocala and haven’t been to the downtown square area where Stella’s Modern Pantry is located lately, you really need to check out how it’s transforming. There’s lots of great new places to eat, drink and shop, all within walking distance of each other. But on with the review of Stella’s. The interior ambiance is modern as the name implies and that really stands out in contrast with the rest of the old Florida feel you see in many of the other places in the area. (See photo). As you will see in the photo they have a nice selection of wine. The menu is also included so check that for details on corkage and the standard house choices. While talking first order options they have the usual choices with beer, wine, cocktails and non alcohol choices but they also offer Jamaican coffee, Greek coffee lattes, cappuccinos and even French press. Now on to the food. I ordered the Roasted chicken and garlic flatbread and it was excellent. Very thin crust and thoughtfully proportioned ingredients appropriate for the base. (See photo). In speaking the server, I learned that everything served here is homemade and served fresh. If you are familiar with the modern day restaurant business you will likely appreciate how unique it is to find a place that is still making everything from scratch at the restaurant. In summary, this is a unique place with an international flare and modern vibe that contrasts and therefore fits perfectly in the transforming Ocala downtown square.

Food is pretty basic and just ok. I ordered my poached eggs over med/hard and they came out undercooked and had a weird vinegar/sour taste to them. Spanish eggs were better, but still not great. I was told a bottle of brut with oj was $28 (to make mimosas with) Already a little pricey, ... Then after it was all opened and on the table, I was told he was mistaken and it was actually $32. Super pricey for basic mimosas. .. they don't have normal oj, only orange soda from concentrate. 😖 Cute shop to check out and you can pick up some pretty good wines and gifts, but there are way better restaurants to eat at in the area. Desserts looked good but we didn't get any.

Albert and George really are passionate about their craft and were happy to accommodate our requirements of no garlic or onions. Wonderful presentation and taste.

Cliché to say but Excellent service and food. Albert Barrett is a true artist and lover of food and wine. His expertise and passion for his craft is obvious to anyone who visits this fine establishment. They also do catering which is excellent.

The coffee was really good, but they might have to rethink the desserts. The pineapple upside down cake was rather dense and dry. Also, a bit overpriced for the quality. Not good. Nice staff and decor, though.

Went for breakfast this morning and have been and they are so pleasant, but ordered my egg dish over medium and they way overcooked it badly, when we went to pay the bill the gentleman said you must have not liked it because you did not eat it , told him that it was way over cooked , he said I’m sorry I thought you wanted it that way , but still charged me the full $16.00 on that entree on a $50.00 bill , most would have taken that off the bill , but he did not even bat an eye over it , we will never go back , besides they also over sauce things

Do yourself a favor and get the Jamaican coffee. It's everything you want. Sweet without missing out on a good strong coffee flavor. It's Perfection, really.

We decided to try this morning and so glad we did! Loved plundering the shelves and food was fabulous!! I had smokes salmon Benedict! Husband had Spanish eggs, son had avocado toast and daughter got a turkey pita! Desserts ordered by husband and kids looked and tasted (I stole bites) were wonderful!! We will definitely be back!

Stopped by Stella's as we were traveling through Ocala and visiting the downtown square. Two restaurants were too busy to seat us and we came across Stella's as we continued to explore. What a wonderful surprise. Even though the kitchen was closed, we were told a charcuterie plate was no problem. The wine was delicious and the charcuterie board was plentiful. We were able to purchase items to produce a hostess gift for friends we were visiting in Naples. If we had been staying in Ocala, we would be back to further enjoy this gem of an establishment. Highly recommend.

New Year’s Eve I picked up what must’ve been the absolute yummiest Apple Pie to share with my family. The service was fast, easy and super friendly.

Coffee and atmosphere excellent. But, more of a greek deli than a full restaurant.

They were able to help me out with some cheese and desserts for a Christmas Eve get together.

If you have never tried Stella’s Eggs/Salmon Benedict and you are partial to this dish, it is unbelievable. It is large enough to share and beyond flavorful with a side of greens and heirloom tomatoes. I can see where patrons who like to imbibe would couple this with a Mimosa, but I would say that this dish is amazing.

Where to start... amazing food, ambiance, and service! If you haven’t checked out Stella’s for breakfast, you’re undoubtedly missing out. Try the smoked salmon egg Benedict and the Spanish eggs, they are amazing. Ask for the Jamaican style coffee to go with it or a mimosa! They also have some nice cheese and cold cuts. This is an experience!

In Ocala visiting and looking for lunch place that would allow my furry companion,in luck to discover on TripAdvisor this delightful restaurant..I went to the counter and ordered sandwich ,sat in front of restaurant ,wine and water for my dog quickly delivered along with the yummy sandwich ,and the most gracious owner and server. Food was fresh and mouthwatering ,what a cute place with gifts and wine to buy,I never travel to Ocala now without a stop at Stella’s ,a delightful gem of a restaurant in downtown Ocala.

What a cool place! Stylish and unique; part upscale food/gift shop, part deli/eatery. The roasted veggie sandwich and chicken salad sandwiches were excellent. Get the chickpeas on the side; they’re something special.

Had lunch here today. The menu had a lot to pick from. I ordered the Turkey Pita. WOW, was it delicious. Lots of turkey meat, Tzatziki and feta cheese, all in a soft pita. Everything was just so fresh. I could tell that everything was made there at the restaurant. I will be back many more times.

We ordered sandwiches at the counter and then found a table. The staff quickly found us with glasses and a carafe of ice water. Our sandwiches followed promptly as ordered. They were delicious! We didn't have time to peruse the many gift items, but we'll be back.

Have eaten there twice. I enjoyed both lunch meals at this great little spot. Unique menu and very friendly staff. Try their flatbreads and sandwiches! They also have big selection of wines and accessories to purchase.

The day of the celebration was very sad because I ordered a chocolate cake and they took me a vanilla cake that I didn't order with a fridge-like taste, I talked to people and They don’t have a good way of dealing with customer‘s problems, I don’t recommend it.

Fun, eclectic spot for having a great meal and shopping. There aren't too many tables, but it's worth visiting for the great food. We had the Carpaccio Salad and the Sausage Flatbread. Both were amazing. We'll be back!
