Today was our first time here and it was so great! Friendly staff, great food, amazing beer choices, love music and we lucked out with a gorgeous day! If you haven't been here, find time to go! You will not regret it!!

Great way to spend an afternoon! Craft Beer, BBQ, Blues...and ice cream. Beautiful drive and lovely location in the rolling hills of Central MA.

Advertised our own BBQ. Only on weekends otherwise pizza and panini's. Couldn't even get a burger or french fries. Beers were mostly bitter and or sour. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Prices were very high. Four beers a small pizza and wings cost $83. Pizza lacked flavor even with pepperoni and wings were very dry and over done.

Love this place. Perfect spot to take my little one with the amazing playground. Beautiful views.

Wow!.... This place is amazing. Very large spacious barn with plenty of seating, The staff was friendly and accommodating. I bought a few things from the Farm store next door, tried the Sirloin Steak it was amazing. I also bought the Raw milk and a few veggies as well. Very nice service and friendly too. Wonderful atmosphere and beautiful seating inside the barn. Great place to visit.

Really nice large brewery with food options. Went here with a large group of friends and the place was absolutely packed. Tons of seating here and the line moved quickly. Only thing to note is food stops 1 hr before closing at 8 so you must get there early. Overall experience was very nice. Enjoyed beer, grilled cheese, pulled pork, burgers, and more. Really loved my grilled cheese and great portion sizes. Recommend

Great food, beer and ice cream! Also a nice family friendly spot with farm animals and a playground

Animals were not taken care of at all. The two emus were in a tiny fenced in area with no grass, no food. The water bucket was full of algae, must not have been cleaned in months. We emptied the bucket and scrubbed it then filled it up with fresh water. We tried to talk to the manager but kept getting employees that would come up with the lamest excuses. Hoping that they actually relay the message to whoever is in charge of the animals. I told them we’ll be back in a few weeks and if it’s still that bad I’m calling the MSPCA. Poor animals. If the animals were taken care of it would’ve been 5 stars.

We love going to Stone Cow Brewery, we went yesterday although we’ve been there before because they opened up their barbecue. Didn’t take any pictures, wish I did but forgot. My wife and I split their burger, big enough for both of us and their handcuff fries, everything was great. they have a great selection of beers and most important to us, they are dog friendly.

Love the rustic vibes of a farmhouse setting. It’s located at the popular scenic Route 122 towards Western Massachusetts. Good for adults to hangout or family spending the afternoon at the open grass field. I didn’t get any food nor beer, only had a milkshake from the ice-cream both, thick and tasty. Plenty of outdoor parking spaces. Definitely worth to come back to try their food.

The Frozen Hamburg was dry also the bun was dry and had no taste the french fries were undercooked and salty the macaroni and cheese was good waited for the food for 25 minutes very disappointed probably will never go back there

I love the building & the very tasty beers. And the most interesting bathroom artwork or posters. A person could stay in there a week & not read everything. I love the history of the area all written on brochures which are all stuck on the walls. I may take my mug of beer & a bit of pizza & stay in there for a long while & just read.

Great beers! There are a ton of seats at this brewery but they fill up fast on a busy day.

Driving off the 122 and see a stone cow? Pull on in for some unexpected fun, good food, ice cream and beer. They are always coming up with new beers and are a fun good group of people working there. Play area for the kids and adults. Live music.. Nice little shining star in the countryside of MA.

I drive over every weekend to buy their milk, and the brewery is always alive with chatter and laughter. People are always out and about using the fire pit or the sledding hill, and it's got a gorgeous view. Overall good vibes and I can't wait to try some of their brews and food;

Great place, setting is in a farm with vast fields in clear view. As the summer winds down, you find yourself wearing a flannel on a crisp day. At Stone Cow, enjoy a great variety of beers via flights and at times the bbq fire pit food. Both of these make an awesome combination, to have a relaxing weekend. Plenty of parking, and tables both inside and out. Great place to stop in,

2021 UPDATE: I had a hamburger, fries and coleslaw yesterday. The hamburger was adequate and VASTLY overpriced. Fries were ok, and the coleslaw was pretty tasteless. The beer was adequate, too. I’ll stick to ice cream from now on. ORIGINAL: Awesome selection of both ice cream and beer. I love taking a growler (of beer, not ice cream) home for sharing on a summer weekend. The ice cream is full of local ingredients and sinfully delicious.

Great spot for food and drinks. Food was locally sourced (Wild mushroom and potato soup was delicious) outdoor seating we enjoyed the fresh air and fresh IPAs. We will be back, we do not have young children but very kid friendly here

I've been a few times and it has been good. Yesterday's visit was disappointing to pay $87 for a long wait and cold food. Ordered 3 burgers and tacos. It was busy so I expected a longer wait. After 25 min we never received a text to pick up our food. Went to pickup area and it seems that some people did receive texts when ready and others didn't. Our order was sitting in the warmer for who knows how long, then when taken out there were only 2 burgers and one had he wrong side. So, had to wait another 10min for the other burger. When finally sorted out the original 3 meals were all very cold. Walking back to our table we received the text our meal was ready. The system broke down yesterday and it was a bit disappointing.

I have visited Stonecow with my family multiple times and always tell people about it. There is literally not a bad thing I could say about this location, business, or the people that run it. From the most croweded day to a slower weekday in the summer, the service here is great. The food is awesome. The Ice cream is great. The beer is better!

We had a great time today. Perfect place to hang out, let the kids run and eat some excellent food. We’ll definitely be back.

The animals need to be better taken care of. They should have water at all times. The pens they are in all day are so small. The poor pony was begging us to feed him some grass through the fence.

Great Farm Brewery in Central Mass. Beers and food is delicious. People are friendly too. I missed out by a couple of hours on cans of their stout they had on tap. The 1st time they had sold out of it which I'm happy to hear that. Part of my flight I shared with my Wife and Niece. Ended up taking home 2 racks of 2 other the other 4. Must go destination. I live an hour away or I'd be there on fridays for music, food, beers and a great vibe. Just had a can of She Wore Lemon. Delicious! Take some of that home.

Beautiful brewery and farm! Tons to do with the family! I had the privilege of performing here this pst weekend. Great crowd and great staff. The food all made on site and beer were top notch! Highly recommended!

Did not have more than ice cream, but smoker was going and smelt wonderful! Next time I will have to try the food!! The ice cream was ok, the view was decent, we had seen an eagle while sitting in the fields!! What would be a plus would be if there was a trash bucket in the further part of the parking field! And no general menu on line, but the crowd that was there on Sunday was tremendous!!

Great local brews! All very flavorful! The food? FANTASTIC! Very reasonably priced for the good quality. Plus the portions are not too large and not too small. De-lish!

This place is awesome to spend it with family or that special someone, a variety of drinks to choose from and the food is delicious, nice view and also a playground for kids as well. Overall a nice relaxing place.

This brewery on a farm in west-central Massachusetts truly offers a 5-star experience that satisfies all your senses. The combination of indoor and outdoor seating allowed for us to enjoy the picturesque views of their scenic vista. There was live music when we went to set the vibe. They offer a REAL BBQ menu, which features a mouthwatering selection of chicken, beef, and pulled pork. The recent expansion provided ample seating, making it a perfect spot for a gathering with friends and family. I was thrilled that they were also child-friendly, with a small play area and an adorable wood enclosure teepee. The on-site ice cream stand was a delightful treat. Stone Cow is a very fun, family friendly spot in Barre, MA. The weekends attract a fairly large crowd, but everything seems to be run smoothly with minimal wait times. They have a BBQ pit along with pizza and other foods to choose from. The beer is always fantastic with many styles and options. They also offer beer flights if you want to sample or just can't make up your mind. They have many animals on the farm that you can see along with an on-site playground for the kids.

Love the interior of this place, serves as a neat hangout for the pals on an afternoon to listen to live music, and drink some brewskis! If I had kids I’d bring them here for the cool playground! Icecream and lots of food/drink options too! Very kid friendly, dog friendly & it’s just a good time everytime.

Beers are good, scenery is amazing and the place is great for kids. Only reason I take away a star is the staff can be a mixed bag. Sometimes good, sometimes rude or at the very least seeming totally disinterested. And they are getting that rep.

Two weeks ago my wife and I went to Stone Cow with a couple of old friends to have some drinks and food. It was the first time I have been to stone cow and the ambience was fantastic. Wasn’t very busy and the place was really chill. We really enjoyed the food and the beer. We couldn’t wait to come back and really thought this would be our go to place. Last night we went and asked two other couples who haven’t been to stone cow before to join us. I would have to say I was shocked, and felt like this place was very different than what I had experienced before. The first thing that went wrong was the two beer tenders attitudes towards the customers. They were very rude to our guests and accusing them of not paying for their beer after my wife already paid. The main problem is there is no organization between the beer tenders and they’re just all over the place not knowing what each other doing. The next problem was even worse. The fact that the place was busy wasn’t an issue, but they had a band that had their amps on 11 within the barn. This was an inside venue and it was so loud everyone sitting near the band had to move away, and I couldn’t even hear anybody in my party, it was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever experienced and I go to ALOT of concerts. I asked one of the beer tenders if this happens all the time and they said no we usually get this band and they play outside, this is the first time they ever played inside. Where is the manager? Didn’t they realize that this was so incredibly loud? After the band left, we ate food, which was good and had ice cream which was great. It is April and I am sure this place is going to be busy as the weather gets warmer. Although I will not be coming back to this place, I hope they get their act together or others will feel the same way as I and the other couples I was with do.

Awesome location, amazing food, live bands, outdoor playground for kids. There really is something for everyone here. I had the nachos with pulled pork and was definitely impressed! Their summer BBQS are the amazin. The best smoked ribs I've ever had and their ice cream stand serves fresh made hand packed ice cream that blows store bought ice cream out of the water. I love everything about this place!

A lot of fun for whole family! Fireplace, lights, draft beer was made for you right there. Simple but delicious food, playground for kids, tippy, great view.

What an amazing and fun place! Only wish is that they were closer to my hometown, Beverly. Kids had so much fun sledding and playing on the play structures. The atmosphere was unique and I loved it - beers while watching the kids sled, listening to good tunes. I got a beet salad and it was fresh, tasty and perfection! We got pizzas, including a dill pickle pizza which was surprisingly delicious. Also got pretzels with hummus, apples, cheese and mustard. Too difficult to find seating inside, most people weren't ready to move on so we braved the cold - food got cold fast.g

Today was a great first experience visiting.

Great beer. Very chaotic atmosphere. Free for all with seating. All picnic tables so uncomfortable after sitting for awhile. Plan to go back when weather is warmer and outdoor seating available.
