Excellent little country stop. Home cooked meals. So good!

Met my cousin and his family here on their recommendation. Thought we had missed it. Just kept driving and seeing very few cars. Then we arrived and there were all the cars! There appear to be two parts of Strawberry Hill. One a fresh market with local fruits and veggies on south side of road. The other a homestyle restaurant with traditional choices and an ice cream parlor with delicious ice creams. The six of us were seated right away and brought menus. We ordered two single hot dog plates with chili & coleslaw & tots, one grilled chicken salad, two hamburger steak plates with corn & green beans, and a pulled pork sandwich made with vinegar (East Carolina) sauce & coleslaw & onion rings. Our food came quickly and was enjoyed by all. My 94 year old aunt cleaned her plate! I really enjoyed my BBQ - just the way I remember it! There was some discussion about their famous peach cobbler, but our party split. The four girls piled in one car and headed for casino nearby. My cousin and I went to his house to watch old Cowboy movies. Later we met back up to head to home or hotel. My wife was deliberately slow. After everyone had left, she said “Let’s go try the peach cobbler!” We did, warmed up and with a scoop of butter pecan ice cream. It was sooo wonderful! I had to fight for a couple bites!! Great food and ice cream, great service, homey feel. There are probably a dozen or more rocking chairs under the covered front, probably to accommodate people waiting on a date night table.

Grits need to have salt added before cooking. Western omelette had too few vegetables

I have been a few times for breakfast now and would say the experience has been decent. Breakfast rush typically gets there around 9:30. The food is not really that good. I would stick to a gravy biscuit or pancake. They have the best flavor of anything on the menu although I wish the gravy was a sausage gravy instead of plain peppered gravy. Biscuits are pretty spot on as far as texture and doneness. They fall apart a little too much for a butter biscuit, but they are never dried out or burnt. Omelettes are a no go- fried eggs folded around the fillings; not mixed in the eggs before cooking. The sausage bits were crispy and dry. Hash browns have no crispy crust to them, just a greasy and soft pile. One plus is they never skimp on portions no matter what you get. Service is a toss up in the morning. I've have great service and also have had not good service. Atmosphere is the best. It's bright, inviting and casual. There's plenty of space and a nice view from the tables. That's probably what keeps me coming back more than anything. You can also walk across the street to the peach shed anytime.

One of our favorite places to grab breakfast on Saturdays. Strawberry pancakes in the spring, peach in the summer and apple in the fall. We came back tonight for ice cream and pleased to see their special is peach cobbler with a scoop of ice cream.

On the way to Lake Keowee, my date and I had lunch at the Strawberry Hill Cafe. This place is very charming and has been around for a long time. For lunch, we split the BLT and Pimento Cheese sandwiches. We had both the fries and tots for our sides. The service here is fantastic, and they are always refilling your drink. If you are ever in Chesnee, SC, you must eat at the Strawberry Hill Cafe. They also have homemade ice cream, too.

Sad. I hate writing bad reviews and luckily I do not have to often. We have eaten at this restaurant so many times but it was always lunch and we always got great food. We decided to try breakfast. All four meals were subpar. Hash browns uncooked. Pancakes dry and doughy. Omelette lacked flavor. Service and prices were great. We just have to believe the cook had a bad morning.

1st and last time. Our waitress seemed annoyed with every question we had. My wife ordered a salad and asked for no cheese and no bacon..the waitress said why don't you tell me what you want on the salad, which she did. Well it came with cheese and bacon! I ordered a burger it was over dine and the meat was cold. She never once came by our table and asked if everything was OK or if we needed something. Needless to say I left $0 tip.

We've live nearby. Great place. Portions, quality, service, pricing all more than satisfactory. Family owned and run and it shows. Do yourself a favor.

Nice looking little diner. After being seated with our drinks, waitress took our order and never came back. After a 30 minute wait with no return of any waitress, we left.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an incredible find! My wife and I stumbled upon Strawberry Hill USA- CAFE yesterday after reading glowing reviews, and we are absolutely thrilled with our experience. We initially went for the ice cream but couldn't resist the tempting aroma of onion rings cooking. I decided to order some to go while my wife explored the homemade ice cream selection. The staff was not only friendly but also generous in letting us sample multiple flavors before making our choices. I settled on the homemade strawberry ice cream, and my wife chose the butter pecan. The flavors were beyond our expectations – rich, creamy, and undoubtedly the best ice cream we've ever tasted! We were genuinely floored by the quality. Before leaving, we grabbed a large order of onion rings, and let me tell you, they are hands down the best we've ever had! I can't wait to share the pictures of these mouthwatering delights. The prices for everything were surprisingly reasonable, and we even took a paper menu to plan our next visit. It's only 11 minutes from work, so without a doubt, we will be back soon! Super recommend Strawberry Hill USA- CAFE – A+++ experience all around!

Ordered HD plates FF Coleslaw Weiners didn't appear to be cooked Ordered HDs with chili, onions, light mustard, HD was loaded down with mustard, HD buns was doughy The week before, we ordered HB plates HB meat was cold FF was not cooked, they were cold. We go there a lot for lunch. But we want be back for awhile.

Absolutely wonderful! We enjoyed a great breakfast, and then spent some time at the "Peach Shed". The fresh fruits and produce were great. Blackberries and peaches were in season and we got some. Definitely take the time to swing by and enjoy!!

Nice fruit and vegetable farm. You can buy fresh veggies and fruit. Whatever is in season at the time. They are known, of course, for their strawberries. Which are very good. They have ice cream, which is excellent. The breakfast and lunch choices are all very good. They have a corn maze every fall. It is a nice family place to visit. We go their several times a year.

We took my grandson for ice cream and it was the first time for all of us. We were sitting at a table and a waitress came up to us and said we were going to have to leave because they needed that table for the cafe. Very rude. We were paying customers too!

Make sure you go hungry. I couldn't come close to cleaning my plate. There's going to be a line, take a seat in one of the rockers outside and relax, the wait won't be long. Great service, delicious food. I've only been for breakfast but it was delicious. Pictures are from multiple visits, food is consistently good every single time. I highly recommend the french toast and bacon. If you're a friend bologna lover, it is really thick (see pic) and my husband says it's great as well! Staff is always smiling and helpful. They also have a cooler inside with milk and other things you might need.

Food is as good as it gets, served fresh, so there is a slight wait. No worries, though the atmosphere offers the opportunity to take in the scenery or have table discussions. The slaw is shredded fine and is very good on burgers or a hotdog. Have some fresh scooped ice cream to top off the meal and enjoy it outside in the rocking chairs.

We drove by passing through and decided to stop. It was a Sunday, so the café was closed, but man was the homemade strawberry ice cream delicious!

We enjoyed lunch here and it was packed!! We waited about 10 minutes, as all the tables were occupied. Once we sat down, we were promptly served drinks and gave our order. We felt the prices were reasonable for what we got. The hot dog special came with chili, onions, and mustard - it was better than I've had in the area. While the fries were average, the slaw was sweet, creamy, and seriously the best part! The staff were very friendly and checked in often. We tried the homemade ice cream after our meal and would definitely come back. In addition to the restaurant, there are many local goods and snacks for sale. Definitely worth the stop!

Hour wait to eat, understandable. 40 minute wait for food to come out, not ideal. 15 minute line to pay. Garbage. Figure it out. Food was okay, homemade icream was amazing, atmosphere was nice. Figure out a better way to take people's money faster

We love this family owned farmer. We have been here before on a co-op field trip during the spring and was equally impressed with going for the fall season. Reasonably priced for all that they do to make this a wonderful experience for the whole family. Cannot recommend this farm enough!!! Their cafe is amazing too.

Always a favorite! Every time we have guests we bring them to Strawberry Hill! Fun, down home, excellent, wonderful in every way. It doesn’t matter what you get at the restaurant, the ice creamery (using fruit grown on the farm!), or produce stand… it is all juuuust right!

All the fresh strawberries you can eat and one of the best ice 🍨 you can find.

This place almost only sells ice cream and candy. Extremely friendly staff. Family owned I believe.

If you live in SC and you haven't been to Strawberry Hill for some homemade strawberry ice cream....the you are seriously missing out! The cafe is also great. Servers are friendly and, while they are always busy, they do a great job of not keeping you waiting.

Amazing food, great people amd a welcoming atmosphere. The Philly cheese steak is by far one of the best I've had, I highly recommended getting it toasted with butter. My wife had the BBQ sandwich and it was soo good... Our meal for two came out to be under $20! By far the best deals on meals this side of the world!

Ice cream was a definite 5 stars. The food was very good, but a little lack luster on the sides. Fries and onion rings do not come out crispy, but still pretty good. The toasted bun with the philly is really good, but if you get the bbq sandwich the bun is soggy because the bbq is very juicy and delicious. Enjoyed the cafe and if you don’t get some homemade ice cream you are missing out!

Always a great cafe to go to! I usually get the BLT and it tastes amazing with fresh vegetables. I recently ordered the BBQ sandwich and was surprised at the flavor. I always load my BBQ sandwiches with sauce at other places, but this sandwich had so my flavor that I didn't even want to use sauce. The sweet tea is always great, and their strawberry ice cream is on the next level of ice cream. The staff is always cheerful and friendly. This is just an overall great place to visit and experience.

Its a local restaurant where everyone knows your name. Good food, good service and there's always someone there that you know. Also some of the best ice cream you can eat.

I visit Strawberry Hill often to purchase strawberries, peaches, apples, pies, tomatoes, cucumbers, okra, squash, etc. I also purchase homemade ice cream & have eaten in their restaurant. It’s ok nothing special. I’ve been for lunch as well. It’s plain. Nothing pops out. Had the in season fruit of peaches on pancakes but they were hard n not yet ripe.

I like coming to Strawberry Hill. They have good ice cream. The staff are friendly. It’s a treat to come here on a hot day and get ice cream. After getting ice cream I go across road to buy produce. Been coming here for over 10 yrs now.

Love stopping by for an ice cream but was shocked that no employee at the restaurant was wearing a mask. I believe it is mandatory for staff to wear a mask.

Visited this place twice on our trip to SC. The ice cream and milkshakes are incredible and the portions are huge but what tops it is the warm and friendly staff. You guys are awesome. Will make it our regular stop whenever we are in town.

I enjoy eating here after looking through all the produce sold across the street. We usually order burgers and one of their delicious milk shakes. I also always buy quarts and pints of their homemade ice creams as well as homemade breads. Great service and great prices.

My husband and I stopped by today for lunch. We had a burger, hot dog, and fries. Very good burgers and the homemade chili is delicious. Topped it all off with homemade ice cream. Service was amazing too!

Called in a to go order because Saturdays are a madhouse here. Had to wait 15 minutes longer for my food but biggie with the crowd. I ordered the chicken Philly with fries. The sandwich was delicious. The fries needed to cook a few more minutes and needed a little more salt. The ranch dressing is outstanding.

Strawberry Hill is an excellent restaurant very quick however and sometimes you have to wait and it is well worth the wait. The ice cream store inside is superb.

We make it a must trip up at least twice a year. Never, ever been dissatisfied.

This place is just simply one of a kind. The food here is really fresh and tasty. Breakfast here is the best I ever had anywhere. During certain times of the year, you can get fresh fruit right from the field put on your pancakes. The lunch here is also extremely tasty. The hamburgers are made fresh and to order. They are fast and friendly here and on weekends you might have to wait to get a seat, but the wait is well worth it. There is a icecream shop here also that is pretty dang good.

This place is great... ILOVE LOVE LOVE the cows!!! Lots of things for the kids to do. Its worth the money. Will DEFIANTLY be back

A true representation of southern food and hospitality. The staff goes out of their way to be friendly and helpful, and the food is excellent. It's a basic menu with homestyle choices, but with large, generous portions. A crowded wait list on Saturday mornings means only about a 15 minute wait. Wherever you are coming from, it's well worth the drive.

Good food and service. Very reasonably priced. Very popular and busy so be prepared to wait for a table but there are lots of nice rocking chairs out front.

This restaurant has a great breakfast and a great lunch. If you've never ate there you owe it to yourself. You are missing out on some great food. Go out of your way to go there soon. I promise you that you will ÑOT be disappointed. If I could give it more stars I would.

Delicious veggie omelet with lots of onions, ham steak (not a piece, but a whole slice) of country ham.

I like coming here.. the only thing I could say is that they do not sell premium unleaded gas - they only have regular and Diesel... I only know that because of the fact that I stopped in to get gas on my motorcycle one time and it takes premium.. I have been to this place many times before over many years.. :-) The food is great at a very good price.. They have excellent souvenirs inside and ice cream and I could go on and on about the wonderful yummys this place is.. This is a good place to bring kids.. They will love to come here .. They have tons of Ice Cream.. Furthermore, you can sit out on the rocking chairs.. People there's plenty of parking - I highly recommend coming here the drive alone is worth it.. On any given day the views are fabulous.. Such a beautiful place. Also, they serve in season strawberry pancakes and or Peach pancakes... OMG folks, if you have never been here for this breakfast to try these = YOU have to come and try them they're phenomenal.. In conclusion, everybody here is wonderful the wait staff is wonderful... I enjoy coming here and the farm across the street.. I can't say enough about how great the place is... Plus the farm across the street, but that's a different rating for the wonderful Latino/Mexican people who own and run it.. They are wonderful too.. :-)

We came down from Asheville to try their breakfast. It was great, will come back soon. Great staff, all smiles and great food.

I love to eat lunch or breakfast here. The atmosphere will take you back in time to a rustic restaurant. You can never go wrong with a chili cheeseburger and some tater tots at lunch. For breakfast, the breakfast platter with country ham is not going to be beat by anyone but mom's home cooking. Treat yourself and go try it!

Excellent food. Great service. They make the best western omelette I have ever eaten in a restaurant. Kept my coffee mug filled...and one for the road. Across the street is an orchard with fresh produce.
