We found out about Grace from Bea’s Bakery in Tarzana (which we love and been going for years). She started baking there and introduced some Filipino pastries (and thank goodness she did). There’s a lot of places that claim to have Uber flavored items but you can’t really taste it (it’s just the color purple), but this one is different, you can definitely taste it… and it’s AMAZING! My favorite is the Ube coffee cake, pandan, cookies, Ube cupcake and the biko! Highly recommend, check out her site and also stop by Bea’s as they have them ready 😀

I had the Biko de Yema--it tasted very good! Only comment that's why it's 4 stars is I wish the yema had been finer in texture. It would have been a good contrast with the coarser texture of the bike. High score for the packaging.

Literally all week, my partner and I go “It’s Ube week. It’s Ube week” when we know Sugar & Grace are going to be at the farmer’s market. The longest the baked goods we lasted went from Saturday to Monday because they are so delicious! Grace is not only an incredible talented chef, but is one of the kindest and most fascinating people I have ever met! This picture doesn’t do justice to the way your tastebuds will be fundamentally changed.

I'm obsessed with these baked goods . everything about sugar & grace shop is just the best. i love grace she is so devoted to her work and values her customers so much. this business is the epitome of everything I like to support and buying these treats is absolutely my favorite way to spend my money. my fav is the ube yema brownies with cashews, but literally everything is soooo good.

Everything I ordered was amazing. I like the fact that goodies aren’t that sweet. I’m glad I found them on IG. I highly recommend. Grace is very friendly and answers any questions in a timely manner. Definitely coming back! Awesome job. Grace!

Absolutely love everything in this shop! Excellent bread and pastries. I highly recommend the ube biko de yema, red velvet crinkles, ube cheese swirl milk bread and ube brownies, which are absolutely perfect and are super moist. It is truly a slice of heaven! Customer service is also superb!

Having tasted sugar and grace’s unique and creative desserts made me feel nostalgic. My love affair with purple yam/ube started back in our home country. Sugar & Grace combined 3 of my Favorite filipino desserts in the Ube, Biko and Yema. It was moist and not overly sweet. In short it was perfect! The ube brownie with cashew is new and unique. It is scrumptiously good!

I found Sugar & Grace because I wanted to support local cottage bakers, I couldn't be happier! The Babka was an embarrassment of chocolate, dough was light but still had a good chew. Brown butter Ube oatmeal cookies were amazing. They mean it when they call a cookie chocolate CHUNK, very soft and gooey. The star for me and my family were the Ube Biko de Yema cups, I can't speak highly enough of just how good these are. The prices are fair, the products are made with quality ingredients, the packaging is done with care and has transportation in mind. You can really tell Grace has put a lot of thought and love into her business. I will definitely be ordering again, we loved everything we had.

Brown butter oatmeal and brown butter ube cookies are soo amazing. Shared with all my friends and all were sad when the cookies were gone. I personally keep a stash in the freezer…shhh. So sarap!!!

If i could give it 10 stars i would! My family and i love the biko with yema so much that we actually order 2 right away. We also order the brownied with cashew nuts! You guys have to try it and i promise you will not get disappointed. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended! My children & I have tasted most of the goodies from Sugar & Grace and they are all sooooo yummy! You will love them at first bite! The goodies are individually wrapped & come in really nice boxes so can be gifted to friends too! Sugar and Grace is an authentic premier bakeshop with a premium taste to its baked goodies. A taste of ube biko de yema will take you where your heart is, which is one of my favorites. Nonetheless, having to indulge on any of its finest delicacies would bring nostalgic taste to a true Filipino flavor.

Such a gem! From the presenation up to the taste! I can't ask for more! I love the ube biko, their pastries taste super good! Sugar and Grace's products has been a part of our family events. We tried most of their pastries and I can truly recommend them. Their Biko de Yema is the best. I first received it as a gift for Christmas and I got hooked after the first bite. How can you go wrong with ube-flavored biko with yema? The items were shipped from Los Angeles to San Diego via courier. It arrived in perfect condition, well-packed and chilled. The Biko de Yema was in individual cups - perfect size for a single serving, easy to take with you if you're going to work and need to pack dessert. I loved the item so much that I gifted it to my cousin, and now she's hooked too!

Love Sugar & Grace shop!! Buko Yema cups, ube white brownies, and her ube white chocolate milk bread is amaaazing!! NEXT coconut milk bread is on my list. She has great packaging and love how all the items are wrapped individually. 1-10 definitely a TEN!

I loved Sugar and Grace bakes, I am all crazy about these delicious and out of the world Filipino Ube pastries. Everything is so yummy. You can literally tell that all those bakes were bake with love and quality ingredients, go and try them for yourself @the Whizin Farmers market in Agoura Hills. I warned you, once you try those treats you may feel in heaven, that you may have to get one of each one. All of them are amazingly good.

I’m from SD but almost every week I drive to LA for Sugar and Grace Bake Shop for their goods, it’s not too sweet for my taste, and my family and friends love them. It’s homemade and the details of their goods are the highest quality I’ve ever tasted I’m glad they are not that big yet coz I can still enjoy them while they are small business, this are the kind of shop you’ll know will grow gigantic in this industry because of their service and a lot of passion on their goodies. My favorite is Ube Biko de Yema Cups. Warning tho, they are very addictive.

The best! I am a certified addicted to it. I first tasted it when my bff gave this treats(or what we call pasalubong) to me when I visited her place. She swear by it that I will love it. She knows I don't like sweets that is way too sweet. But the ube white chocolate fudge brownies, ube biko de yema cups and most especially the ube cheese swirl milky bread is the bomb! Textures are moist and richer, not too sweet which is really great! I can't even explain how really good the taste is. Anyway, since my bff knows that I love it, so she send me more for christmas/new year as her gift. 💕 yes! They also ship! What a convenience for us who are far from the bakeshop! It was packed with care and I will definitely recommend it:)

Love, love all the products. We tried the milk breads and brownie. The ube brownie is so, so very creamy. The kids had fun with their chocolate bombs! Packaging is great and secure (delivered in WA State). Speed of service and communication is great! We shared with friends so they can enjoy the products too! 5 Stars!!! Can’t wait to order again. She’s so busy and in-demand! ♥️

The best! May it be the small ube cups or the big version of it. To the ube fudge brownies and the ube cheese loaf. Family and friends love them. And grace is very nice. I’ve serve it on many party and gave it away as presents to friends. All of them love it!

I have tried so many exceptional baked goods from Sugar & Grace Bake Shop especially the Ube Biko de Yema and Ube brownies. They also have a wide array of gourmet cookies and specialty breads as well. They are made with the finest quality ingredients and shipped and delivered with utmost care and special packaging. Her menu of absolutely delicious goodies are ever expanding so I'm always on the watch for her next creations. Can't wait to try her Ube Streusel Milk Buns and Ube Toasted Coconut Milk Bread Roll Overload. Highly recommended and must try!

Absolutely delicious! Never had anything better than her ube biko. I’ve gotten loads of compliments from friends even from those who do not have a sweet tooth! Excellent customer service as well. The website is easy to navigate and the process of ordering to delivery is seamless.
