Everyone was so friendly here! We felt very welcome and well taken care of. The service was excellent and everything came out super fast! The caprese salad was incredible!! So fresh and delicious, our favorite by far. Would come back just for that!!

Showed up at 8:05, hostess said they were “done for the night.” Posted hours said they close at 9pm. Hostess did say, “if we were really hungry they could order us a pizza or something..” Great job guys on customer service. But I guess what should we really expect, right?

Ordered the funghi and margherita pizza. Simple and fresh ingredients made for a delicious pizza.

We arrived late at 8:30 thinking we may have missed our chance but were welcomed in by super waiter Chris Kelly, who not only cheered us up but read our minds and estimated our state of hunger perfectly. In a very quick time we were provided with delicious starters, followed by mains which all were made with freshest ingredients, even at the end of the day, and served with a smile and great professionalism. We can very much recommend the asparagus starter, scallops mains and a vegetarian pizza with cauliflower base amongst other things. Prices were reasonable too, in an otherwise quite expensive little town. A most enjoyable dinner!

Transplant family visiting for the summer. We kept walking up to other restaurants but were not seemingly interested. The atmosphere drew us in, and after being seated by a very pleasant man, we were instantly greeted by another. The server engaged with my children, shared funny jokes, and was outstanding in character. We ordered the roasted garlic chicken pizza and two orders of the chicken Alfredo penne. The penne had a very pleasant lemon twist to it, which was a little more than subtle. The pizza was delightful and simple with a nice crisp yet fluffy wood fired crust. I would strongly suggest a marinara addition to the menu, and perhaps something Mediterranean from the sea. Realistically, the reason we enjoyed this meal wasn’t necessarily the food. The personality and aura of our server was above and beyond. He is the greatest asset of this business and will be returning in hope to see him again.

The owner Jim is a salt of the earth, delightful guy. We called many restaurants in the area to cater for 28 people and he accommodated us without hesitation. He put together an excellent menu at a great price and communicated clearly throughout the process. The food was incredible, it’s obvious they use the freshest ingredients and house make their sauces, dressings and more. He also accounted for our dietary restrictions. Highly recommend visiting Sulla Vita. Thanks Jim and team!

We were very excited as it is wood fire pizza but it was subpar.

We were staying at the Obertal Dream Suites with our dog next door and ordered takeout online and picked it up. My flank steak was amazing! Tender, perfect medium rare as ordered and the chimichurri on it was a whole foods pico type of topping and wonderful! Our kids enjoyed their respective cheese and pepperoni pizzas and the gratin was great. We also enjoyed the side of asparagus we had al lado. My wife ordered medium flank steak but hers was well done, though still tender and juicy. We'll be back sometime! We've been coming to Leavenworth for decades and explicitly ruled out Sulla Vita because why come to German town and eat Italian? It ended up we don't really like most German food😂 So we finally gave SV a try and don't wait like we did!

We had a wonderful dining experience eating outside at Sulla Vita. The draft beer had all the form on top with small bubbles coming up from the bottom. The pasta with chicken was hot and delicious. The chicken was soft and tender, not like some restaurants with dried out strips of grilled chicken on top. Watching people and enjoying our shared one dush meal together was enough for us!

Wow! After a long drive this was the perfect place to sit down relax and share some salad, pizza, and pasta! Everything was amazing!

Hostess Missy seated us at a table of our choosing. She’s great and very accommodating. Our server Amanda was great with timing, intervals checking in and availability. We ordered glasses of wine (Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio), stuffed mushroom app, mixed green and caprese salad, scallops over pasta and flank steak. Opted for items we had not previously ordered. Everything was excellent with a small exception for the mushrooms, they were nothing special and seemed to lack a bit of filling. Food was spaced well, arrived immediately upon preparation and was very tasty as Sulla Vita is known for. This is always a stop for us when in town. They open at 4pm…plan you time in Leavenworth to include eating here…you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent vegetarian meal of shared sides and pizza. All waitstaff, especially Devi, were excellent. We will definitely revisit next time we’re in town. And service was amazingly fast!

Their menu is pretty simple. No hard alcohol, only beer, cider, and wine. The service was excellent. Our server was very welcoming and friendly. And food we perfect. We sat outside, heaters were going. Def worth checking out.

If you're looking for good drinks and a chill atmosphere, this place is pretty chill. The food was overpriced, but the drinks were 💪🏾 My kids didn't finish their pizza. If you're looking for pizza, look elsewhere

We are traveling with our dog, so we had a table on their patio. The patio was comfortable as it is enclosed and warmed by heaters. We were served by Chris, who was awesone. The food was great and service exceptional. We told Chris that we are going to Italy this coming fall and he had been to the areas we talked about. Upon leaving, Chris gave us a handwritten note about the "must see" places in Italy. We were amazed that he took the time to do this and the meal and service were the highlight of our stay in Leavenworth.

Nice small plates to share. Pizza looked and smelled amazing, but we didn't try as we had a gluten free person with us. All dishes except pizza, bread and pastas are gluten free, so there was great selection.

Automatic gratuity of 18% printed on invoice regardless of service quality. Our family of four left a 10% tip and the server was upset. Advised her that tipping is an option and we could just not tip at all. She then tells us that that would be stealing🤣 Tipping culture gone mad! Food was nothing special. Pizza way better at Rudolff. Pasta was forgettable. Will never go back.

Came here for our anniversary dinner and everything was delicious. Our waitress (I think her name was Rebecca?) was so sweet and kind too which was a major plus. Their penne Alfredo was BOMB, and chocolate la’orange was scrumptious. Highly recommend!

We loved the atmosphere of this place so much! We ate our dinner inside, they also offered outdoor dining under a heater patio. It was not too busy around 5 pm on a Saturday. A very friendly man sat us at out table inside. After looking at the menu I really liked the sound of the white wine cream sauce w artichokes but it came with scallops and since I do not eat seafood I could not have that because the server told me that scallops were already in the sauce? Weird. That's okay because I also saw pesto cream pasta I love. So me and my husband ordered that. Our food came out relatively fast. Server dropped off the food and didn't come back till we were finished and we're ready to pay. The peso sauce itself was ehhhh ..it had a very distinct vinegary taste and seemed like it might have been missing the cream. The dish also had some vegetables which was a surprise because there was no description in the menu. Also it was disappointing to see the only choice of pasta offered was penne. Not a huge menu with a lot of options. However their pizza did look good and we saw most people ordering that so I cannot speak on how the pizza is.I do not think we will be back.

We were able to get a table for 8 within 15-20 mins. Service is great. Food is good.

Food was delicious and well-portion. The wait time was 1.5hr but were seated before. Manager and waitress were friendly and helpful. Dislikes mandatory tip added $32.15 and won’t do separate checks. You have to tell the waitress how much to charge on each credit card.

We came during December and it was very busy so the wait was 1.5 hours and we went at 4pm for dinner. So I would probably dock them just for wait time but the food was outstanding and so was the service. Definitely recommend and would come back we would just adjust for getting put on the waiting list earlier.

The service and ambience was nice but the food has left me dealing with a food borne illness. My stomach started churning within minutes of leaving the night of Dec 14th, and I’ve had 4 uncomfortable trips to the toilet since I got home. My guess it was the mushrooms or the gratin as that is what I ate the most of. My wife also is experiencing stomach discomfort but I ate most of the food so I am dealing with the worst of it. Honestly nothing tasted good other than the pizza but I should have said something in the moment and not eaten it. I try not to complain because I know not every meal is going to taste amazing but this time I am paying the price for it. Hoping this passes after today because I’ve dealt with long term stomach problems in the past from eating the wrong thing. Please coach your kitchen team up on proper food handling.

Delicious! We went on a busy Saturday in Dec around 1:30pm. Was able to get a patio seat next to heater with our dog, with little wait. The host and server were so friendly! The flank steak with cream sauce and cauliflower, turnips was absolutely yummy. The chicken pizza was so good. They forgot our order so we had to wait a little longer but the server took care of us. There's restrooms inside. Definitely recommend!

They cut their pizza funny. I am not a fan of automatic gratuity. Tip would have been more but when not left with a choice I say no more.

I’m writing this from the restaurant because it was so good I couldn’t even wait til later. We sat outdoors and the area is so pretty. There are lights hung and heaters for the cold. The host who seated us and the waiter were both so nice! We accidentally ordered a pizza not knowing there was meat on it (my friend is vegetarian) and even though it was our fault they insisted on remaking one we could eat. We got the tomato soup, balsamic fig pizza, and the cheesecake and they were all so delicious. 10/10 recommend! Y’all are doing a great job 💖💖

We dined in recently at the Sulla Vita. We all loved the vibe. Inside the restaurant space was quite full so we had to sit outside under the heaters, but we all enjoyed it including my 2 years old kiddo. Loved the vibe and atmosphere. The service was great! There were vegetarian options on the menu. Specifically Roasted tomatoes basil soup and funghi pizza were really awesome. I will definitely visit again.

The woodstove pizza was out of this world - perfectly crispy crust and delicious toppings. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff who quickly got us a table on this busy Friday night. I can’t wait to return for more of their fantastic food and warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

Shared a pizza and had some beers.

Their name may be Italian but the food was awful. Staff was very nice but I’ve had better frozen pizza and the stuffed dates were mediocre. 🤢 yuck. Server was very nice but food abysmal.

I am in love with Pizzas here. The Funghi pizza is out of this world - gives you an outer body experience ( p.s. - you must love Arugula). The chicken garlic pizza was pretty good too. The vegetable pizza is a good choice too. However I will always stick with Funghi. Service and Ambience both are great. One thing to remember is that this place opens at 3. So if you really want to come here please look up their open hours beforehand. The only thing that felt average was their Pasta. I didn't taste it but someone in my group did.

We were waiting for them to open and they came and let us in a bit early to be seated. The wait staff was super friendly and nice. The pizza was great. We got the garlic chicken and the meats pizza. We got a kids pizza and it was much bigger than expected. My son got the shrimp pasta and there was barely anything left because it was so good. We couldn’t resist the cheesecake which was an excellent choice. We are also in the pizza business so my husband had some questions about the pizza oven and dough. They allowed him to go back there and talked with the pizza chefs for a while. He said they were super friendly and answered his questions. It was an overall great experience! Highly recommend this place!! We will definitely be back when we come to Leavenworth.

This was our first stop for dinner on our weekend trip to Leavenworth. The food was amazing! We got two pizzas and both looked, smelled, and tasted so fancy! The waitress was kind and helpful. We sat outside and it was so beautiful. We can’t wait to come back again!

Horrible pizza! Seriously l think the server brought me the worst pizza they could make because it took me a little longer to order. Burnt at the bottom, uncooked meat and too bland for a supposedly Italian restaurant. My friends food (which was meatball and pasta) tasted great and my food was so horrible three young men couldn’t finish it. I hope you did not do that on purpose (because I am brown or it took me longer to order) and if your pizza is worse than Domino’s don’t make pizza . People come to Leavenworth for a good time not burnt tasteless pizza with “I am not happy to serve you” attitude

I like that the menu is set up well for family style ordering! Nice wine selection, fabulous vegetarian options, and overall delicious food. Our group enjoyed sitting outside along the the bustling street. Their chocolate l’orange dessert was delightful and unlike anything I’d ever had!

Flank steak itself was great. The chimichurri was inauthentic and clumsy, basically onion and garlic. Should have tried gorganzola sauce i suppose. Parsnip/cauliflower gratin was good. Two of our party did not like their pasta, and sent the scallop linguini back. Sommelier gave an excellent recommendation on the wine. Chairs were really uncomfortable. Kind of dissappointed.

My family always comes in when we make the trip up the mountain! The soup is to die for, and the bread pairs excellently with it. The workers are very kind and friendly, and it depends on the time of year on timely service, which is to be expected in a town like this.

Sulla Vista is the best restaurant for wood-fired pizza and steamed clams. First of all, when my lady and I arrived at the restaurant, Byron greeted and seated us. There was no waiting time at all. Byron was awesome! Once we got seated, our waiter Brooke took over, and things were popping up fast. The ice-cold water got served, and she took our orders right away. We ordered vegetable pizza and added sausages to it. We also ordered steamed clams and a couple of drinks to go with the meal. While we enjoyed our drinks, it did not take long before our pizza arrived. The pizza looks fantastic, and it comes with a thin crust. The taste of the pizza was so delicious! Then the steamed calms came. The white clams and the sauce were fantastic! The sauce was buttery, milky, and good with French bread. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that comes to Leavenworth.

The service was so welcoming and friendly! The food came out very fast! The food was some of the best Italian I've had! And beer is great as always! Our server was Devi K and she was a peach!

We got the pizza, Brussel sprouts, meatballs, and clams. All food and drinks were excellent. The only knock I have is how slow the kitchen is given how it wasn't particularly busy when we were there. That said, if you are on a relaxing schedule, great place for a few rounds of drinks and food.

Husband and I went here and we got the stuffed mushroom, scallops and bread and the chicken cream pesto pasta. The mushrooms were my least favorite, not a whole lot to say about them. Maybe I just enjoy a more traditional stuff mushroom. My husbands scallops were super good! The broth had good flavor and was perfect for dipping your bread. The linguini I had was made with fresh pasta noodles it seemed and had great light taste. Definitely enough food to split. Next time will try the pizza!

Get the asparagus galarza. It was hands down the best appetizer that we have ever had. We could not believe how amazing it was. We also got the Margherita pizza which was also delicious. We added red sauce and pepperoni. I know that's not traditional but I was feeling pepperoni. Service was good. We had a nice waitress.

Cozy place to dine in. They took care of us. Food were amazing. I ordered their stuffed mushroom and I love it! Husband also their perfectly seasoned tomato and basil soup. Ordered the meatballs and it's not dry and flavorful. Cheesecake is amazing with their own raspberry sauce. Highly recommended

Probably one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to since I was last in Italy. The bread is homemade (family made!) and absolutely delightful with their balsamic and olive oil. We ordered the meatballs with linguine and chicken linguine in alfredo sauce. The homemade pasta was fresh and light. Served family style, because trust me, you want some of everything. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly. Will definitely be coming back and recommending this place.

This place is definitely a locals favorite. They have some great tapas style options. The stuffed dates and stuffed mushrooms are note worthy. I would personally love to see this gem expand a bit with some true Spanish tapas options, such as potatas bravas, croquettes, Spanish omelets, etc. But what they do they do very well. The atmosphere and the staff are particularly note worthy. My server Devi was amazing, attentive and fun. I noticed this same element in all the staff. Even as a solo diner I was treated well and not rushed out even on a Fri night. Would definitely recommend!

We had an awesome stay at the Restaurant. They let us stay with our GSD Puppy. Even though there was barking back and fourth with another Puppy there where no complains. Costumer service was excellent. Their Cook was an expert !!!!!!!!! Thankyou.

We were visiting Leavenworth for Christmas Eve and Sulla Vita was about an hour away from closing and they were able to accommodate our party of 7. Despite them being so busy service was great from Host to our server and manager. Food was also wonderful I ordered the Prosciutto-Fig Pizza (Delicious). Highly recommend if visiting!

This place was outstanding. We got the prosciutto fig pizza and chimichurri flank steak. I can’t say enough how delicious everything was! Much better than other places we tried in Leavenworth. Give it a try :)

We tried Sulla Vita for the first time this week and we loved it. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable of the options. They suggested getting the prosciutto and fig pizza, and the chicken Pesto linguini, so we got those two plates. The plates are meant to be shared, so we got a chance to try both. They were both tasty, the prosciutto and fig pizza and definitely unique, specially as it had balsamic vinegar, but it complemented it really well. Great location, prices, and experience overall.

The drunken clams were scant and flavorless. The skirt steak with the cauliflower parsnip gratin does not go well with the chimichurri sauce… definitely should have a cream sauce with it instead. The stuffed mushrooms had no flavor. The wood grilled stuffed dates were the best part but not worth an entire meal here.

Food was delicious. Soup was perfect on a cold night and the pasta was yummy comfort food. Service was wonderful.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. We arrived just as they were closing. After a long and difficult travel day we ended up stranded in Leavenworth. Chris Kelly and team were so kind and hospitable. They made a delicious take out order for us. Fantastic pizza, pasta and salad. Thank you for the yummy dessert Chris. The wine list and atmosphere looked fantastic too. We would love to return for dine in. Thank you Sulla Vita!

Chris was an amazing server and the food was AMAZING. We went as a shot in the dark choice and wound up very surprised. Highly recommend for the service, food and drinks.
