This is a 5 star business all around! ☺️ We first discovered Sunset Island in September 2023 when visiting Vero on vacation. When we returned to Vero in December 2023 and July 2024, we put Sunset Island on the top of our list of places to visit. We are from the Dallas/Ft Worth area and have not come across a fruit bowl/açaí bowl place as high quality and tasty as Sunset Island! 😋 Pro top - get the Moana base in your bowl, you will not regret it 🤤 The popsicles are also fantastic (I get the coconut popsicle with chocolate syrup and coconut flakes). Another thing we notice is how hygienic the staff is. They wash their hands and wear gloves. My Mom who is vegan and my grandmother who is just a VERY picky eater both love to eat here! And lastly, and definitely not least, they are dog friendly! 🐕 Keep up the 5 star work as you are a huge reason why our Vero beach vacations are so special! ☺️

I tried the classic crepe. It was 10/10 & I will be going back.

Very disappointed. We watched as the person making our crepe realized they hadn't thawed out the necessary ingredients, so they completely skipped what wasn't ready. Ended up with a gross wad of just caramel sauce and almonds. They never mentioned any of this and just hoped we wouldn't notice. All the employees looked so miserable and tired that we didn't bother saying anything to them.

Great customer service. I have no problem paying for FRESH ingredients. Wanted strawberries but they were going bad. Wish the pineapples were actually fresh pineapples. Everything else was fresh so that was a plus.

I was honestly a little skeptical of the place at first, thinking it might be another overpriced snack post. That was until the food came out. The crepes are delicious and fulfilling! The music playing is really good too. I wish they had a larger selection of bottled beverages but that's my only nitpick. Give this place a chance and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Delicious fruit bowls! We ate the sunset bowl. Great ratios and quality ingredients. I like how they put hot Nutella on the bowl so it doesn’t immediately freeze. The granola is super good!!

Horrible customer service. If you don’t like where you work at then don’t work there. Both smoothies I ordered were done with the vibe they didn’t want to do it. While drinking the smoothie, it had chunks of fruits.

First visit today and definitely won't be the last. Delicious acia bowls. Fruit toppings amazing. Can't wait to try a smoothie.

Food is amazing. Be forewarned - they use granola to fill their bowls- if you are allergic to oats/gluten or don’t like granola, your bowl won’t be full. It’s disappointing to feel like you don’t get your moneys worth. Otherwise, love the place. PS. Every time I order a substitute for granola I get charged almost $3 more dollars. I get the exact same volume of food but I have to pay more, so yes they are customizable, but if you have allergies, you have to pay the price.

Me and my girlfriend have been here a few times and always had a good experience and good food today was not that way it took 45 minutes to get our food and it was not right the açaí bowl had so much dry protein powder in it and looked like a whole tub of Nutella just dumped on top and my crape had so much protein powder inside of it both where not eaten and thrown out. The girl was all by herself there and she did apologize to me but could definitely tell she was having a bad day. We will go back again but might wait a little bit

This is a hidden Gem! Everytime I come I get a Paradise Smoothie (no almond milk, add coconut water & honey) and both of my parents a sunset bowl with the pink acai & its soooo good.

This was my first time at sunset island. The girl who took our order (straight brown hair) created a very hostile and tense environment by not speaking when spoken to and making no eye contact. My mom asked where the spoons were and instead of giving her a spoon she held the spoon container up in my mom’s face implying she was stupid for not seeing. I didn’t even want to be there while they made my order. I feel really bad for the other worker that has to be with her all day. If I could give 0 stars I would. Will NOT be going back and really think this worker will lose the company a significant amount of business. Some people just shouldn’t work in customer service. And my açaí bowl was pretty much just a big bowl of granola.

Today was my first time ever coming in and I said that as soon as I walked in and that I couldn’t read the menu because I lost my glasses I was asking too many questions apparently frustrated another worker not even taking my order she interjected and told me if I don’t know what I want I can just leave. So I did. I frequently buy acai bowls and travel out of town to do so. I noticed this place today while picking up my Togo order from hurricane wings. This would’ve been my regular spot had i been impressed. But instead the young lady earned sunset island 1 star for her unreasonable attitude and extreme lack of customer service towards a 1st time customer. Never asked for a discount but did mention the fact that over $17 is high for a bowl that only allows 2 fruit selections and 1 topping. Thanks for the response will be nice to see how long you last with much better competition coming to your area this year.

Food was great but waited over half an hour to get what we ordered (2 Açaí bowls) and the place was not busy whatsoever.

The bowls are good for the most part. The servers at the front could work on being more personable. Eye contact and returning a smile goes a long way.

We went in to get smoothies. It was kind of busy. Told us they were closed , when it actually closes at 6pm . About an hour after we left, we saw people still going in ,ordering and leaving with food . We went back in and asked the girl working if she could serve us. Had a bad attitude and gave us our smoothies. Food is delicious. Get better service.

Last weekend I came in to get a smoothie I had been looking forward to all day and Sunset Island did not disappoint! Bentley was very sweet and helpful and helped me pick out a smoothie that was very delicious! Will definitely be coming again.

Very yummy bowls with generous servings for the price! Only thing I wish is that they used all fresh fruit. The pineapples are canned. Pretty bummed that I didn’t know that ahead of time or I would’ve chosen a fresh fruit option other than pineapple 🤔
