This is one of the more unique dining experiences in the area. Eating in an old Florida vibe with Latin music floating across the patio from the next door business is both eclectic and amazing. Service is excellent. The food is good, and always prepared well and as quickly as they can (it gets busy during season).

Had lunch out with 3 other artists. We sat on the covered porch. We stayed a couple hours talking in comfort under fans and weren't rushed in any way.

We recently traveled to the area and had brunch at the Survey Cafe everyday! The food was delicious and the employees/manager were super friendly and welcoming. I wish we had a cafe like this near us!

The food was excellent, a creme brulee at another level, and the super pleasant attention of a young Cuban woman, who unfortunately I don't remember her name...100 recommended

The best breakfast I've had EVER! Scrambled egg so fluffy and tasty, a "nest" of bacon and a homemade croissant! TIP: You order inside and they bring you your order. Plenty of seating and we chose outside. Cozy and delightful!

We have been coming here for years. The food, service and atmosphere are consistently great. My only criticism is that they’ve introduced live, amplified music which is unnecessary and interferes with conversation.

This is a small, order at the register, find a seat and food is brought out to you type place. We ordered 1 breakfast biscuit and 1 avocado toast. It took 1 hour and 7 minutes for our food to be delivered. The staff said they were busy and have only 1 person preparing food. We should have been told at the time of our ordering that they had taken on too many orders already. Very unprofessional. The egg and sausage were the microwavable kind you get at DD and McD’s. Not worth it and disgraceful.

Excellent, counter order, relaxed, good eats.

Good food, but Pretty expensive. Will return but need to add seasoning to everything to liven the flavor, kinda like many places down here. Probably realize that with the population average age being north of 70 they want to keep sodium down, but it definitely sacrifices the flavors. That and the value keeps this from being 5star. Wanted to try the baked goods, but at 10$ a small pie, maybe next time I’ll try but that’s pretty ridiculous. We have gone to outstanding bakeries all over the country and this is as expensive as ive ever seen.

Such a precious jewel of a cafe that we accidently stumbled upon in Bonita Springs. Quaint, eclectic and a family-run restaurant with amazing food and service. Can't wait to go back.

Avocado toast was the worst I ever had in my life. Crepes were cold and hard. Very disappointing. The owner replied and suggested we should told his staff we didn’t like the food. We have already waited 45 min for the food, we didn’t have another 45 minutes to wait for the staff to redo our order. The food was cold as well. And some advice to the owner- you hurting your business by snapping at your customers with your rude replies. There are thousands of choices where to eat, your cafe is not one of them. Do better.

This is a cool little place to eat. If you’ve never been there before you have to order at the counter. I was a little embarrassed because I found a table and just sat down waiting on a Server. Everything was delicate and the staff there was very very nice the food was amazing I must say

The food is so good, I had lemon pie. The custard was crispy and delicately made. The filling, was creamy, smooth, zesty and sweet. My sister had the chocolate muffin. It was spongy and sweet, didn't have the overwhelming after taste of egg. coffee was okay.

Shared meals with friends during a Christmas trip. I found the food good and with portions that left me and my guest full. The total price was more than I expected. I was charged with a "custom cost" because I added vegetables to my egg dish. But, with the cost of food, I was not surprised. The staff and server were pleasant. And I was pleased with the gentleman who provided Christmas music on his guitar. Despite the cost, when I am ever again in the area, I will be dining there.

The Survey is a must experience. We always have an amazing time. The food is wonderful, service is superb and so friendly. The atmosphere there is very peaceful. My sausage and egg breakfast wrap was so filling and great. But I sat there, envious of the omelet my lady got. One of our absolute favorite breakfast places.

Crepe was worst attempt ever. Could not eat it. About 3 separate people said they did not get their sides. Eggs, sausage and croissant were good.

Everything is made in morning and reheated. Had pancakes and omelets. Would not go back. Maybe we just ordered wrong things just don’t like my eggs microwaved.

While out exploring historic downtown Bonita Springs in southwest Florida, we decided to take a break and have lunch at the Survey Cafe. We studied the menu and then ordered at the counter. The short wait for our food allotted ample time to peruse the cozy restaurant. It had plenty of seating, indoors and out, flowers and plants, and homey decor. Also, it had plenty of information about the local happenings and things to do. My friend and I ordered the basic Bonita and Spicy chicken sandwiches along with fresh fruit so we could share them. Everything was so fresh and delicious, including the brewed ice tea. Although very tempting we just peered at the decadent dessert case. Staff were very friendly and helpful. This delightful eatery calls for a return trip very soon.

Wonderful outdoor seating with large tables and comfortable chairs, including beautiful tropical foliage surrounding the space. Greeting was friendly and questions were answered satisfactorily. The biscuit egg sandwich was exceptional, and the quiche was fluffy, and a huge portion! Definitely will be back to experience the rest of the menu!

The service at the Survey Cafe is excellent. Everyone that works there is warm and friendly and they excel at customer service. They welcome you in with a smile and always have a friendly chat while they are taking your order. Special kudos to Elizabeth for her service!

We started off loving this place but after our last few encounters I’m not a fan anymore. I kept trying to make excuses to love it but each time there’s another not-so-great encounter. I have found hair in my food twice. First time I gave it the benefit of the doubt, but after the second time, that’s not fun. Another time we waited 1.5 hours for our food, and there were still empty tables so they were not crazy busy. Food is decent, but nothing special for the price. Eggs Benedict were just on a typical American bun and the little salad they put on the plate didn’t even have any dressing on it so I could at least eat it (not even a drizzle of oil). I usually would get brewed coffee and never had an issue because that’s pretty hard to mess up, but the one time I ordered a latte the milk was curdled and lumpy as if it had been steamed for too long or too quick. The menu is also extremely confusing when reading and you think something is included in the price but then you order and everything is extra fee. Three stars because the environment is very pretty and it’s very nice to sit outside.

Great spot if you are in the Bonita Springs, FL area. It's a Hidden Treasure. Our group of eight got there at 9am was sat at a outdoor table for a beautiful breakfast..The atmosphere was amazing and fun. The customer service was great. The waitress was attentive..The portions were good and very tasty. Try it you won't be disappointed..

I have been looking high and low for authentic French crepes! I ordered the Ham, egg & cheese crepe and my son ordered the Banana & strawberries crepe with Nutella. Both were very fresh and delicious! Love the atmosphere, very rustic and quaint, a hidden gem! My new favourite restaurant, a definite top 10 pick!

We had dinner outdoors at Survey Cafe. This is French restaurant and offers many classic French dishes and an array of crepes and great apps. We shared the Brie and Honey app which was encased in a crispy crepe. It was awesome. For dinner we each had a chicken crepe, they were each different but equally as good. We tried the Crème Brûlée for dessert, it was good but not the best ever. The owner was our waitperson, she was lovely. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

Had the chicken salad sandwich on a baguette (The Farmer) with a Mimosa. It was delicious. It is my understanding that everything is made fresh so you may have to wait a bit for the food to arrive but it's worth it. We scooped up a table out on the patio/deck. Low key casual atmosphere in an area that still looks like old Florida.

We arrived at the Cafe a little before 11:30. The place was not crowded and we ordered almost immediately. Our food arrived at 12:20 and it was anything but appealing. I had the quiche which was soft and mushy. It was accompanied by fruit which was hard --not ripe. My husband had a BLT which had very sparse bacon (just a few chips) and was a club sandwich (3 pieces of toast which was not as advertised). We will never go back.

We had great dinners at Survey a number of times. Today, my wife and I went for breakfast for the first time. If you are in a hurry, go elsewhere. Every item is individually prepared by a chef who is meticulous! My wife chose the Veggie Wrap. I had the Sausage and Ham Wrap. Both were truly outstanding. Absolutely delicious. And huge. We each brought half home which will tomorrow's breakfast. We also had the "small" (it wasn't) fresh fruit cup and delicious coffee. We will be back for sure. Kudos to the chef. And the staff.

Have visited this charming cafe twice and will continue to eat here as it is such a wonderful experience. The line can be long, but I assure you it is worth the wait. The food is so delicious. First time, I had to take out but the second time, I was lucky to snatch a table on the beautiful patio outside. This is the kind of place I love...have been to France many times, and I feel like I am back here. Haven't tried the desserts but they look soooooo delicious! Highly recommend!!!!
