(Take-out experience) This review is from the perspective of an Asian person. I say this to provide a different set of standards and overall view point because these 4/5 star ratings are highly, highly, questionable. I ordered the fried noodles with beef and boba milk tea. If you are looking for oil to moisten your dry skin, this is the place to be. You get food + lotion 🧴 The beef wasn’t tender. It was dry. Imagine your average mall teriyaki fast food place, but worse. The boba milk tea is absolutely laughable. It was basically baby formula with boba you get from those “instant boba milk tea kits”. If you are used to decent to great boba tea from places like Gong Cha, KFT, Teado or Kokee you’ll be really upset. Don’t even bother even if you are desperate for some bubble tea. Take a drive to Ninja Ramen or Hippo in York. All in all, go to Full Moon or Pho Viet for the best Asian spots in Hanover. Within the Asian community, anything with “Fusion” in the name you can bet it’ll be cafeteria low effort Asian cuisine for the sake of catering to the non-Asian community. I don’t write reviews because it’s a waste of time, unless my experience was really good or really bad. Unfortunately, this is one of those moments. I hope this restaurant fixes their quality and actually make a decent attempt at making these dishes. For the price, you might as well go to Full Moon. They have a similar menu, but the quality is way better in comparison.

The food is really really good! Prices reasonable and it is a clean place. I could eat here every day.

We had the best experience today at Sushi Ya Asian Fusion. The food was fresh and hearty- nourishing to our energy. The service was phenomenal, we met the husband and wife who run the restaurant as well as their family. They are so friendly and passionate about the food that they serve. We will definitely be back soon! Thank you for this little hidden gem in Hanover.

FAVORITE ASIAN RESTAURANT IN YORK COUNTY! The cook does amazing work. Every meal I’ve tried has not let me down. My favorite is the poke bowls. Everything always taste fresh and hits the spot. I wish they stayed open til 10 on Fridays and Saturdays, I’m always craving right before they close! Honestly, I would say they are my favorite restaurant in Hanover. The owner and his family are lovely.

Okay so the restaurant is small, however the sushi is delicious and the people are lovely. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and even customized the smoked salmon sushi so my kids would enjoy it. Thank You we will definitely be back!!!

What a fantastic place. Visiting here from out of town and was so thankful my boy and I found this place. He loved the pho and I loved my poke bowl. We shared 2 sushi rolls and it was all fantastic. Service was too notch as well. Absolutely highly recommend.

The wait staff was very kind and made sure we enjoyed our food! They were very courteous and wanted to make sure we had the best experience possible. We really enjoyed the sushi and milk tea. We will be eating there again.

Welcome to Hanover: where even sushi has to be deep fried and drenched in sauce. If you want authentic sushi, look elsewhere. Sushi is my favorite kind of food, so I was very disappointed. I wish they didn't drown every single roll in sauce because you couldn't even taste any of the ingredients. The pho didn't taste good at all and the brisket had a sulfuric smell. The rice was okay. The boba was admittedly very tasty though. Also, the waitress literally paced back and forth next to our table and stared at us the whole time, which was really awkward and disconcerting. We won't be back.

I really don't really do Asian food, but my kids do. The got noodles and sushi. Loved it. The staff remembered us. They were very nice and overall..GREAT! Pricing seemed pretty good.

We came in for a late lunch, so the restaurant was empty. The server was pleasant. The beef rice had a dried over cooked beef, but it was satisfying enough. The noodles were a bit too oily. We were not unhappy, but we thought it would be better. We may come back when the food is likely to be fresher and kitchen is busy.

This was SO amazing. Sushi was delicious and it was beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Will definitely come back again. Five stars all the way.

Pretty good pho and sushi, the broth was very flavorful. Our son ordered plain fried rice and my husband ordered different sushi rolls and sashimi, they both were very happy with what they got.

I got a sushi roll, the rice was mushy, most pieces fell apart and some of the ingredients didn't taste fresh.

The fried sushi is amazing. Wonderful menu, food, and staff. This is a special treasure of an Asian restaurant in our area. Also the special teas and beverages are a real treat.

My husband and I had our first visit to this restaurant last night (11/30) and were thoroughly impressed with the presentation, creativity and Taste of the sushi!!! The staff are friendly and the sushi is Art! You MUST try the crab salad, crawfish roll, volcano roll and the Hanover roll. It is my absolute new Favorite for sushi and we Cannot Wait to go back to try many other dishes!

This is my favorite place to come for lunch after my morning shift! I'm always surprised at how it's never busy because the food here is incredible and I wish more people knew about it. Their sushi is awesome and there's so much variety.

Absolutely the best sushi myself and my husband have ever had. I'm currently pregnant so I can only eat cooked variety and their Sushi for 2 was the perfect option. So smooth and saucy for my American pallette 😂 I didn't even use the soy sauce they supplied in the bag. My 3 yo daughter got the noodles and they are amazing. I have never had the broccoli cooked so well! All the veggies cooked beautifully and not falling apart somehow? We got our food to go and had to go back for the noodles because I didn't check... I'll take that fault, but make sure you check to make sure you have everything! That goes for a take away order anywhere 😁 Thank you for existing Sushi Ya, we will be back soon 🩷🍣

My hubby and son had dinner here a few weeks ago and has not stopped talking about how great it was. We all went in tonight together and it did not disappoint. Everything was fantastic. The boba.. sushi.. noodles.. rice.. mmm 😋 The chili oil they use is amazing. The staff are so sweet. Thank you for a great evening!

We got dinner here for the first time. The food was excellent. I got sushi which was fresh, delicious and so enjoyable. My husband got seafood fried rice. It was flavorful without being salty or overly flavored. The chef came out and shared that they do not use MSG and he talked about the ingredients they do use. We were so impressed. We had a great experience and will be coming back again and again. What a welcome addition to Hanover. I hope they stay for a long time.

We have been twice now and their food is amazing! We had their sushi & pho and everything has been so good. Service is also very good and fast as well. It is overall the best in town in our opinion! 10/10

The food was delicious! We got the Shrimp Pho and Vegetable Pineapple Fried Rice. Large portions. Great seasoning in both! Friendly and attentive service.

Had spicy salmon roll, which was good. Wife had beef pho. Large portion, but lacked flavor. My pineapple fried rice .. had no pineapple. Nor flavor. Was a small, mushy portion. Not the worst we've had, but will stick to the sushi perhaps if we go back.

Went there several times now, no disappointment at all. Everything is neat and clean. The foods are not only delicious but also fresh. Might be my new fav restaurant in town.

Great place. Chicken pho was on point. Right amount of noodles, plenty of chicken; broth was delicious and not too sweet. Quality of food was outstanding. Also got sushi and summer rolls, also wonderful. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Initially came to Hanover for Pho and found this restaurant had opened in place of the previous business. They have a wide range of Boba/Milk Tea options (10 options) and a mix of Japanese and Vietnamese items. The crunchy tempura roll (we got shrimp) was really good but the Vietnamese items we got were lackluster. The pho was weak in flavor and didn't have very many noodles or meat. The summer roll was very filled but because of the filling (crab salad I believe and avocado), it was really soft and almost mushy. The staff was friendly and we do intend to try again but stick solely to Japanese items.

It was very good. I really like the poke bowl and the sushi roll I got and really like the Cantaloupe boba. Can't wait to go back again

I was very excited to try this place out. Japanese is near one of my favorite foods so I couldn't wait to see what this place had in store! I would argue that this is not necessarily the BEST sushi in hanover. I think golden dragon has the best. The sushi 🍣 is good though. However, the menu options are unparalleled. I love the verity and diversity of the menu. Presentation was on point, I know this restaurant is just getting started so obviously they have a few little kinks to work out. Very friendly staff. Kid friendly as well. This is a good family restaurant. I will be checking back in for sure.

I was pretty excited to see a new sushi spot in Hanover, and even more to see that they offered online ordering with text notifications for order status. I give 4 stars for service not because the employees weren’t friendly (they were and also personable), but bc I received a notification that my order was ready and arrived 10 minutes thereafter to be asked to wait 10 more minutes since there was some sort of miscommunication between the online ordering system and the kitchen that prevented my order from being ready. I have no issue waiting; it’s just that I was notified that my order was ready when it was not. The sushi and chicken pineapple fried rice were delicious, but the miso soup was a little too salty. Overall, I will be returning and will take the order status notifications with a grain of salt.

Was craving sushi so we ordered from them because they were the only ones open on labor day. I thought it was a little on the pricey side, but when we got our food and it was worth the price. Definitely, different than most traditional sushi joints, but very well made and good food all around. Can't wait to try their poke bowls. I can't review on the atmosphere because I have not actually stayed to eat in the restaurant, but will update when I do. We tried numerous rolls and had some noodles. Very good.

This may be my new favorite sushi restaurant in Hanover! There was 6 of us total. We tried sushi rolls, appetizers, noodles, Pho and a poke bowl. eEverything was delicious and everyone was stuffed when we left! The quality of fish was fresh and flavorful. The rolls were large and the other servings or our meal were big too. This was our first visit and we cannot wait to go back! I would HIGHLY recommend Sushi Ya Asian Fusion to anyone!

Place is absolutely incredible! Was looking for something new and different in Hanover and took my shot with this place; I was blown away! Service was outstanding and most importantly the sushi tastes incredibly fresh; of course the fried rice is no joke either!
