We love this place! Always have had great meals. We have done their cooking classes 2x now and always such a great event. Highly recommend joining them for a cooking class.

So many choices!! Shrimp Avacado Salad was great! Sweet little lemon ice box pie was wonderful!!

Overall great experience. Casual open dining space with nice decor. Food was nicely plated and great flavors. I have brisket panini which was a little chewy but overall good.

I love Sweet Olive and pop in for lunch or to get some items to go whenever I visit the Mandeville lakefront area. They have delish fresh food and great daily lunch specials. The restaurant is cute and casual. I bring my out-of-town visitors here. It’s also a perfect place to pick up items for a picnic. They have chicken, tuna and egg salad, pasta and broccoli salad, amazing artichoke balls, great sandwiches and housemade desserts. Highly recommend!

The chicken salad at this place was absolutely phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The customer service was outstanding, with every staff member radiating warmth and positivity. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I can't wait to return for another delicious sandwich and the delightful company of the staff. especially isabella she’s a great manager!!:)

One of our favorite places to get a healthy option for lunch. I prefer the egg salad sandwich and the shrimp remoulade and avocado salad is also one of our favorites. They have a wide selection of goodies for you to take home. And one of the best things is that they are just so quick. Your food is prepared in no time. 👍

This is such a cute place. I don’t understand people’s love for bead board, though. The feta and the pimento cheese were AMAZING. The panini I got was alright, but the pimento cheese I put on it saved the day. Even though the kitchen was closed, the girl working the counter was nice enough to warm up my panini. She was also generous and gave me a bag of ice to prevent my cheeses from spoiling! Thank you! I ended up here because I had a meeting around the corner, but I’m glad they were open on a Monday! A lot of places in the area were closed. Is Mandeville always this dead on weekdays? Is it a Monday thing? All in all, this place had amazing ambience and was delicious. I will definitely go back for some more whipped feta with pistachios!

1st timer and the experience was exceptional. Great menu selections with a daily lunch special! A relaxing atmosphere. Also unique gifts available. Wonderful experience all around. Will definitely return and would highly recommend to others!!

Easily one of our favorite lunch spots in Mandeville. Conveniently located near the lake front, Sweet Olive has some of the best dishes around! We have yet to try some of their daily specials/dinners, but have heard they are great as well. For us, all the baked goods and paninis have been spectacular. The Italian panini hot pressed is a must-have item every time we visit! The chef also offers cooking classes some nights which would be a fun family activity or date night! Special dinner menus are offered on occasions as well if you check their website!

Super cute establishment in the heart of old Mandeville with a trendy, casual feel. The employees were very nice and hard working; the food was the right portion, prepared on point and served hot. Lots of seating options and a small store in front for food, alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverages and other small purchases. #glasscitydotfoodie

A very nice spot to stop and eat or grab something on the go. Baked goods are also divine. I cant wait to come back and try more. They have some delicious food and a great staff. Lovely demeanor and just warm and cozy feeling.

We went after lunch. Two slices of cake & two bottled waters came to $29 and change? Cake was ok. But we will not be back due to pricing.

So excited to have this new lunch spot on my radar. We had the BLT, Avocado Toast & a Burger. Plus coffees & cookies. Definitely get a chocolate chip cookie! Everything we had was delicious. The employees are friendly & helpful and the restaurant is clean. It is a small space with limited seating. Just remember to be patient if it gets busy or crowded when you visit.

Very nice bakery/cafe/coffee shop. Has indoor and outdoor seating. Seating indoors is at large picnic like tables, so be prepared to share a table with someone. Outside it is individual tables, but I imagine it gets very hot out there in summer although they do have umbrellas for each. The food and coffee were very good, but the pastries are very sweet. The carrot cake slice ($8) was as much if not more frosting as it was cake and was too sweet for us to eat. The scone ($3.50) was good and I think it had chips of white chocolate in it. It wasn't dry as some places. The coffees ($5 & $5.50) were good, but the spinach frittata ($7) while good was not heated well. It was heated in a microwave and should have been put in an oven of some sort to maintain a more crispy texture and more even heating. The place has a nice rustic/S. Louisiana feel with local paintings for sale on the walls and lots of natural wood and wainscotting. The bathrooms are clean and work well. Service is good and the place is clean. We couldn't find prices posted for most of the food, so just had to guess what it all cost when ordering. It was in the higher-mid range. I feel it is a nice complement to old town Mandeville and we'll return and maybe try lunch next time.

What a sweet little bakery. I was browsing spots on the Google Maps, like you do, and noticed the good reviews. I only got a muffin and a scone, but they were reasonably priced and tasted delicious. There is no dedicated parking lot, so street parking it is, and there is a lot of it. I look forward to coming back, when I am in the area.

The best cappuccino made by Bella, ask only for her to make them. The pastries and sandwiches are delicious and hearty.

We enjoyed sharing 10 different items at our table and thoroughly enjoyed every single one! The frittata with feta and spinach was a favorite, as well as the whipped feta dip with honey and pistachios. You can’t go wrong here!

I’ll start off by saying, what I got was good and I will go back and eat there. I received a coupon for a free coffee and pastry from a local realtor so I decided to try it. I ordered a coffee and pastry to go and also picked up some chicken salad and croissants to go. I receive these coupons often and usually purchase something in addition to the free items. The lady wanted to ring up the free items separately from the ones I was paying for which was fine. She mentioned twice in the short time it took to do that, that the coupon said to make sure to tip on the full bill. I would do that anyway but sort of found this a little off putting. Not only did I put a few dollars in the tip jar, the two items I got didn’t equal to the $10 value of the coupon, so she put the difference in the tip jar also. I also tipped on the chicken salad and croissants. My purpose for mentioning this situation is so they maybe would read it and not pressure people for tips. I always tip, good or bad service but I did find this a little uncomfortable and would like to see this sweet little place succeed.

So glad to have discovered this place! Love their chicken salad sandwich and I usually get a tub Togo. All their foods are fresh. Their carrot cake has zucchini (I think) in it and it is one of the best I’ve ever had! Very moist. Would like to go back and try daily specials.

Sweet Olive is a mini fresh market with plenty product variety from fresh sandwiches, wine, baked deserts, cheese boards, gifts amongst many other items. Staff are friendly. The place is very clean. Would recommend as a Top Rated restaraunt | Food Market & Bakery for dine in , takeout or last minute ingrediants in Mandeville. The chicken sandwich was delicious 🏆

Cute place. The breakfast quiche or maybe it was a casserole was good. I was disappointed is the no coffee service and there were no baked goods out for a Saturday morning.

Love this place! All the food is so fresh and flavorful. We were served complimentary king cake that had been baked that morning, which was the best king cake I've ever had.

Ventured into Sweet Olive for lunch. Glad we did! I ordered the shrimp remoulade salad — very fresh greens and sprouts with their pickled beets and onion boiled eggs. Remoulade dressing and a nice scoop of gumbo-sized shrimp. Partner ordered the lunch special — today it was a stuffed bell pepper and a side of their carrot soufflé. Very good. It’s very cozy inside — love that there is a market to buy fresh or preserved fruits and veggies. Would love to see the full menu somewhere!

I loved the artfully made pastries here where you can get traditional goodies or artisan takes on things: I had a goat cheese & rosemary scone I'll never forget. Also has a nice market stocked with local goods.

It was so delicious. Better than I imagined, from the many times driving by. Finally going inside, it had a pleasant atmosphere, good smells, and unique merchandise. Our sandwiches had a great flavor profile and even 1 half of it was filling! I'm sure any menu item would be great, but the chocolate cookies are a must.💕💐
