I'm glad I came 😌. It was a perfect ending to my long work week 🙌🏾. Thank you for the delicious food, great vibes, and exceptional customer service 🙌🏾.

This was an utter atrocity of a dining experience! Nothing went well at all. There were spots and food residue on just about everything set on our table. As for what was ON our table, someone may call it food, I would refer to it as "SLOP!" The "chef," blue and/or purple hair and all is supposed to be the owner's daughter?? Not sure there. The SLOP put on our table le tasted like she might have gotten some or perhaps a lot of her hair dye mixed into it!! I don't even want to mention the sad state of the "wine offerings." I must warn you, however, that several of the wines offered were or currently are on clearance at Publix or BJ's Wholesale Club, or the local package store where, if you really wanted to try them and bought them at one of these places, the very first thing you would notice I'd that these bottles of wine are at least 1/3 and almost 1/4 of the sale price at "Swirl!" The other fact that you will most likely find odd is that "Swirl (a wine bistro)" has absolutely NO SOMMELIER!! Not even anyone training for the part or pretending to know the part. When you ask for wine "pairings" or even recommendations, you will find that the owner has absolutely NO official wine knowledge but he is an aspiring salesman. He will push right past the less expensive choices and right into those choices that push your bill AND his profit margin as high as he can persuade you to spend. So, overall, atmosphere (1- plastic seat covered chairs and tacky tablecloths coupled with horrible music and food scattered place settings and silverware) poor. Wine selection/pricing/knowledgeable staff (1- wines are way overpriced, selection is poorly chosen from clearance wines, and there is not a soul there who knows anything formal about wine, pairings, notes, grapes used, regional characteristics, harvesting and processing, or any type of information which a sommelier could offer at the drop of a hat!!) Food/service/pricing (1- the food was inedible, the "staff" which I believe was the family of the ow rr and he himself as well, were rude, pretentious [without cause or reason], entirely too unprofessional [telling us stories about health conditions of the owner, etc] and too friendly, to the point of wondering if any of it was genuine, and this "slop" that we were served as well as the bottle of wine we were pressed to try with the "slop" was not a good pairing and when I looked into it at my wine retailer it was 11/2 or a 150% mark up!! I challenge ANYONE to get decent wine advice, edible food, and/ or an actually clean table and settings at this establishment. There will never be a second trial of this "dump" and I would wholeheartedly NOT recommend you to waste your time, money, or appetite on this place. I give it one star, really only because there is no 1/2 a star or no star options available!! We spent almost $200 and that was with a cheap gratuity for cheap half rate service. I would rather eat at someplace boring like The Olive Garden than to waste time, hunger, or money at this dump!! No good at all!!

The chef is exceptional, my son is vegan and she was able to whip a special vegan dish on the spot. Great cust service and food is ( a bit pricey) but very good!!! I recommend all to try this place!!

Great local wine bar. The food is incredible and they have an impressive wine selection. I tried the beef tartar and goat cheese flatbread, both were great. I stopped in on a night they happened to have a pre-scheduled wine dinner taking place and appreciate that they were still able to accommodate my friend and me!

Was introduced to this spot by a friend. Almost reminded me a of modern day “cheers”. Grade A service. Food was on point! A couldn’t ask for better convo from the host and other patrons at the bar.

What a lovely experience. Food, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding. Food was cooked to perfection with a bounty full of flavors. Everyone was attentive and did not rush our party. The perfect spot for a leisurely, high-quality meal.

This restaurant is super cozy and cute. Rotating art from wonderful artists but it is the chef that is the true artist! Her dishes are magic one after the next. The charcuterie and cheese plate had incredible options and was so thoughtfully put together. The mushroom risotto mmm mm, so so good. The pork belly and duck were easily some of top 5 I’ve ever had. Michael the husband and part owner with the wonderful chef waited on us. He was so lovely and coursed us out perfectly making for such a wonderful experience and evening. Talk about dynamic duo! This restaurant slid into one of my top three restaurants in all of Florida hands down.

The food is absolutely delicious! It’s a small venue but the atmosphere is inviting and nice. Worth every penny spent!

This is what you call “An Experience”!!!! I was invited to a wine tasting and could not resist ordering from the menu. The Lobster Mac & Cheese is incredible. Sitting next to people you have never met and engaging in meaningful conversation was absolutely amazing. This is the vibe this amazing place creates. Everyone needs to make a it a priority to come here.

Incredible food and service! We ordered a variety of items on the menu and all of it was good. It was hard to pick just one item that stood out amongst the rest. Save room for dessert and order the bread pudding. Thank me later.

We have been here several times. It used to be exceptional (I've left my original review below.) The last two times we have visited the food has been fine, but not outstanding. The service has been hit or miss. And it's a bit tacky for the owner to complain all the time on social media about how expensive everything is. Hopefully they work out whatever is going on because we loved having it as our special night out place. Loved our experience here! I went with a group of friends and we had several wines, a few appetizers, multiple entrees, and both desserts offered tonight. Every single thing was exceptional! We will definitely be back.

Absolutely horrible. food was poor quality service was over 45 minutes to get appetizers. 2 and a 1/2 hours to get dinner. No one came over to discuss or explain or apologize for terrible delays and offered no consideration or apology for terrible experience. Ignored throughout the time there and then staff pretended it didn’t occur. Spend your money and time elsewhere.

The hubs and I stopped in for some drinks and we were welcomed with such warmth, knowledge, and hospitality from Mike, one of the owners. He chose perfect wines for us, and after seeing the diverse and enticing menu, we can't wait to come back for an exceptional dinner. What a unique find!

My husband and I were celebrating his 60th birthday at Swirl, and as usual they did not disappoint. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. We were not rushed, it's a true fine dining experience. We enjoyed a nice bottle of wine and delicious food, ending with the most decadent chocolate cake you can image! Love, love Swirl Wine Bistro!

I tried to call a mid day to make a reservation. But I was told that the place Was going to be full Because of a special wednesday Dinner So you would have to come in and wait. So I did when we got there at 6 o'clock. There was not a single person there. It was 5 of us. And we all order the special. The owner Michael comes out to tell us that the steak with the lobster that they Have on special They did not have it. I took my brother and my wife for dinner that night. It turned out to be a nightmare. Not good By the way, if you want to pay $40.00 for a Mac and cheese, a couple of pieces of lobster. That's the place Is very very very expensive On a bottom, they ask what dishes do I recommend? I do recommend not to go there at all Terrible experience experience

My daughter wanted to have a birthday dinner with her family to celebrate turning 16. Her first and only choice was Swirl as she loves the duck confit here and said everyone should try food this good. Mike, Judith & the staff at Swirl made my daughter’s 16 birthday dinner truly memorable, the food and service far exceeded our expectations. Best local small place I have ever been. Husband and wife owned, they always make you feel like you are family. Food is outstanding, service is impeccable, they are my go to restaurant and bar in the area. Please check them out.

Had dinner with hubby on a Sunday, we had seen the restaurant and wanted to try it out. We enjoyed our dinner, our server was knowledgeable about the wine list and the food menu. The walls are decorated with art which was very nice. My favorite part was dessert!! Their pudding with homemade ice cream was to die for !!

Very tasty and delicious food, the atmosphere was intimate and the chef was so nice , made the rounds and spoke to the guest.will definitely be returning.

Nice relax ambience with a bit of groove. Service was excellent; Sophisticated gentleman knows his drinks! Food was excellent, very flavorful, authentic and clean(chef deserves an award), aesthetically classy place(fresh vibrant flowers on the table) and place is alive with talent and color. Swirl Wine Bistro is a GEM. Chef Judith is unbelievable! Nobody could match the flavors of her creations. This is simply a close your eyes and take in every bite experience. I took my husband to Swirl for his birthday. It was one of the most flavorful meals we’ve had in the 4 years we’ve lived in SoFlo. We’ve had meals at many fine dining restaurants, however Chef Abel’s Afro-Caribbean flavor profiles and development are unmatched. A definite James Beard and Michelin Star contender. Corporate restaurants can’t compare. We will definitely be back.

I call this Swirl a “hidden gem” and it’s just that, a gem. The quality of the foods were exceptionally delicious with superb richness, along with great quality wine, service and ambiance. Will be back again and will definitely call a few days ahead for vegetarian options. Gratitude for an awesome dine.

Tastefully decorated place with beautiful art with the feel of elegance in a plaza. High quality fresh food with robust flavors. Exceptional wine list. Best risotto in South Florida!!! The food was so beautiful and tempting I ate it and forgot to take a picture.

excellent restaurant, we will be back for date night…my only wish is that my husband and I tried sooner! We recently visited an Italian restaurant in the same plaza, and decided on Swirl this time instead to switch things up. The place is clean, and inviting. The service was personable and prompt. We ordered the mushroom flatbread, and poached pear salad for starters. Both were fresh and delicious. You can tell that the quality of ingredients is top notch, and the flavors all paired well together. veggies on the flatbread were NOT skimpy. We ended taking some of it home. Portion sizes are on track given the price point and quality of ingredients. You can tell the owners take pride in in each unique dish and presentation. This place is a hidden gem. The gnocchi was the freshest I have ever had. We didn’t get a chance to have dessert, but next time for sure. If you are looking for a nice date night, or elevated dining experience this is the place. Parking 🅿️ was easy which makes it nice. It is hard to find restaurants in south Florida that check all of the boxes (east parking, cleanliness, quality, and service). The owner Mike made sure we had a great experience. We will be back…

Second time having dinner. Food is AMAZING and portions are generous! You can’t go wrong with any of your choices. PLEASE do yourself a favor and go for dinner. My only advice is order/get the appetizers first, then order the main courses. Swirl could use additional personnel in the dining room - we were almost done with our bottle of wine before the first dish showed up - guessing/hoping they will fix this. Swirl also needs a “real wine” list to order from instead of verbal choices. A M A Z I N G

We stopped in here for wine after driving to Margate from Stuart. Mike, the owner, was very friendly & made us feel welcome. He has a great variety of wines & the menu will bring us back for dinner. Highly recommend!

This place is an absolute gem. Wonderful wine selection, delicious food (the homemade red pepper jelly is to die for), great ambiance and stellar service… it’s the total package. Mike and Judith (the owners) are wonderful people and were great to chat with. If you haven’t been here yet, get in your car and go now!

Yes, yes and yes. The food was amazing. You can tell the chef enjoys what she does. The plates were beautiful. The atmosphere is chilled but romantic at the same time. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Run. Don’t walk to this restaurant. You never would guess that the best restaurant you will probably ever dine at is in Margate, FL. The food is out of this world. Red pepper jelly glaze on the fig and goat cheese flatbread is everything you never knew you needed. The squid ink tortellini stuffed with crab meat served with a light but flavorful coconut curry sauce is the best dish I’ve ever had in my entire life. Trust them when it comes to wine as well they will not disappoint. I was raised in Broward and knowing that this restaurant exists here makes me even prouder to be from here!

Amazing restaurant! We tried the Caesar salad, bruschetta, pear goat cheese salad, braised short rib gnocchi and more! It was all extremely well made, fresh and delicious. The service was incredible and this place has a wide variety of interesting wines. The chenin Blanc and merlot were highlights. I highly recommend visiting.

Chef Judith prepared an AMAZING birthday meal in our home’s kitchen for our friends and family. All the menu items were delicious!!! Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the meal, we highly recommend Swirl Wine Bistro for any dining or catering needs. Thanks Chef!

Work luncheon and it was awesome

My Mom and sister and I ate and sipped at Swirl for Thanksgiving 2022 and are so impressed at their new location! The bistro sits in a fabulous plaza with beautiful curb appeal! Swirl is home to me for great wine experiences and amazing food experiences. You will enjoy!!

What a wonderful experience! The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, and innovative. We were treated to a ricotta-stuffed short rib over homemade gnocchi and a crab tortellini in a coconut curry broth that was absolutely divine! The atmosphere is elegant yet neighborly, where you feel like a friend. It's such a treat to have visited Swirl Wine Bistro...highly recommend!
