When I walked in I was greeted pleasantly. My waiter at first was a little off putting as if she was uncomfortable to serve me. She later eased up a little than became a little more open and vocal. I ordered a 3 egg omelette which I had the option to choose from home style fries I believe or grits. I choose grits and also order a side of Belgian waffle. The food was mediocre. Not my cup of tea at alll! The eggs lacked salt, the grits was horrible too thick like porridge or something. The waffle was ok a little on the cold side. However, I did enjoy my cappuccino though 🙂.

Ordered from here on Uber Eats for them to call me and say they can’t accommodate because of my allergies I feel discriminated

My go-to place near home for a simple, tasty breakfast on a weekend morning. Meals served in a homey, friendly environment. The staff here is top notch and the coffee is amazing!

I'm not going to slam them with a bad review just an honest one . I ate there yesterday with a friend. We ordered one of the board specials. It was what they called Taylor ham. We asked the waitress if that was the salty country ham we used to get there . She checked and said yes ....... It was some kind of slimy ham roll that was tasteless . Cost $48.00 with a tip. Never again . Get the old owners and the old food back .

Was not expecting to be treated the way we were when I went for a nice breakfast with a friend. I do feel we were treated this way because we are black and after reading other reviews, I am absolutely positive. When we came in, the waitress (1) immediately sat us in the back of the restaurant despite there being plenty of open seats by the windows and other booths. The waitress (2) who served us was pretty polite however I noticed that other customers walked in, were greeted and were able to just sit where they felt comfortable. When it came time to pay instead of us getting to go to the register like everyone else they brought an eft device to our table and sat it there until we were ready to pay. Then when we were leaving the waitress (1) loudly questioned the waitress (2) who served us if it was okay for us to leave. Saying 'Is it okay? Is it okay?' While walking behind us. There were also fruit flies flying around. The food wasn't all that either. What you would expect for the prices. the streak was not cooked how I requested. I wouldn't recommend and will never go back.

My very most favorite local breakfast spot. It's not fancy but it's consistently good food, plentiful good coffee, reasonable prices, and there are always a few specials for variety. The eggs are always cooked perfectly. My coffee cup is always full. The orders are always correct. 10/10

I have been going here with my dad since we moved in the area in 2019. I love this family business. Everyone who works here is extremely kind. The food is always fresh and delicious. A very welcoming environment and a local hotspot for breakfast.

Someone had recommended this place for breakfast so I thought I would try it out this morning. I had seen where they served biscuits and gravey, so that was really got my interest . The restaurant is close by and has parking close by. The restaurant itself is really clean and organized. The waitresses were very nice and fast to acknowledge you. I checked out the menu which is very good with many options. I decided on the half order of biscuits and gravey and a bowl of oatmeal. I also got a fruit cup so I could add it into my oatmeal. The sausage gravey was okay, not the best though. I felt it had just a touch too much salt. Other than that the food and overall visit was just fine. I'd go back and try other options.

Breakfast was ok, not great or bad. But nothing very memorable. Our server was pleasant but not overly friendly. Food seemed to take a while to come out even though it wasn't very busy. Our server kept the coffee full until it arrived. Checkout was quick and easy.

0 stars if i could it hurts knowing and seeing for myself people coming in ordering before me and getting their food before me. And i called in. For example I watched a guy come in sit at a table and asked him to move to another table because it was dirty then take his order of "sunny side eggs" and bring it to him. I even saw another family who took the table that they asked the guy asked to move and take their order. 30 minutes for some medicore pancakes! I even had to tell them how to make make it right by refunding me at at least half price cuz all they were doing is saying sorry. SORRY? Is that how you treat your first time customers giving food to others before me when in called in? I called @916 and got there 925 and had to wait another 20 minutes and watch other people walk in and get there food before me. I was so sad.

My first time here and it did not disappoint. It’s 7 minutes from my home and it will certainly be my regular go-to for breakfast. I will recommend to my friends

I've never had a bad meal here... It's been a while. <years> since I've eaten here, and they still didn't disappoint... The food and the portions were great. The service was phenomenal, especially from the lovely woman who calls everyone Suga! She was the best part of this dining experience!!! I highly recommend this diner!!!

This is a mediocre diner, the food wasn’t that great. The service was great, the people were very nice but the overall atmosphere was mediocre. It was dark, there were fruit flies everywhere which grossed me out.

Food is always good, service is quick, the ladies are very nice and accommodating, prices reasonable, and good portions. Never disappoints.

We were in the area and decided to try this local breakfast place. Food was good at reasonable price. Service was fast and the staff were all very nice and friendly. It gets busy during the weekend, so expect to queue up, but it’s only a short wait. Highly recommend!

I was genuinely impressed with the food and service at Toasted Cafe. There is ample seating in this clean and cozy restaurant, and plenty of staff to serve you quickly. My kids and I had pancakes, bacon, sausages, and eggs. The food was delicious, and staff was very friendly and professional. My kids loved it, and we will definitely visit again.

Looks small from the outside but has lots of room inside. The breakfast food was good and plentiful and our server Joann was great. Everyone there was hustling. It was Sunday and we arrived about 9:10. We were immediately seated but within the next 15 minutes it filled up, no more tables! Very popular for good reason.

Delicious and great service! We walked in and were greeted by 2 of the ladies and were sat right away. Joyce was our waitress very kind and funny. She took our order and continued to check on us through our time there and she was so busy too but was very attentive. We watched her sweeping while also taking care of her tables with so much kindness. My husband ordered the supreme omelette which was very good and cheesy,with a side of home fries. I ordered a cappuccino and the blueberry pancakes. The cappuccino was so pretty and delicious. The pancakes were hot and fluffy also delicious. This is definitely a family restaurant and they are all so kind.

Joanna and Julie are phenomenal at service! I've been here twice and the food is delicious! Keep in mind, if you order the Steak with the eggs, it is the seared thin steak with good flavor, not the thicker steaks some people pack onto your plate for brunch. Love this place

I used to come here all the time for bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel. Now you have to get home fries with it even if you don’t want them so they can charge more. $23 for two bacon egg and cheese bagels sandwich that I went into the restaurant and ordered/picked up myself! 😂😂😂😂

Music way too loud could barely hear what others were saying in our group. Food over priced and bit boring and plain. Not much to choose from didn't look very appealing either. Had a child serving your food mmm not appreciated I didn't like that. I want to be around adults not children when I go out to eat at a cafe . If I want to be around children when I go out to eat I would go to MacDonald. Nothing against children just wanna enjoy my time at a cafe. Appearance of staff way to casual and they were waring tights you could see the shapes of their down below. Staff not really friendly and didn't look after you that great mmm not really at all.

I was already hesitant about going into this cafe but the fact my darkskin 6ft boyfriend wanted to try something new i went. We didn’t get greeted properly first red flag they told us to sit wherever and plowed the menu down and walked away no words were given. She comes back and takes our order we didn’t know they had specials, but to the non colored folk she made sure to read the menu and specials. She gave us dirty togo boxes. Didnt check on us once, and slapped the bill on the table without even asking if we were ready or letting us know that the bill was here. She treated us differently compared to the non colored folk and i just dont agree it was a red head girl so if you’re colored and want to visit 0/5 stars for the red head and the food is okay

This is a new favorite spot of mines to have breakfast here in the city of margate. I live walking distance from this place and decided to give it a shot. I wasn't disappointed.

We love this place! We go here every weekend for breakfast sometimes during the week if we get the chance also. The staff are all awesome, very friendly! The food is always great!

Small good food a tad pricy for breakfast

Food was ok, service was bad. Server Didn’t even check once to see if i needed more coffee, also server didn’t follow instructions on the order, And on top of the when I paying my check she when back to check if i had left her a tip!! Come on!!

I walked in and didn't get a chance to even place my order. There were 2 waitresses waiting and watching as I walked in. There was only one other patron. I walked up and she asked me if I was I. The right place. She and her coworker thought it was the funniest thing. I asked her what she said and she didn't want to repeat it. I put down the menu and walked right out. The racism was definitely real. I will never go back there again. Disgusting behavior.

Good little place, visited on a whim. Has a nice "neighborhood joint" kind of feel. Service was friendly, food was solid as well. Honestly the only reason the food wasn't 4 stars was due to it not being very hot, the cheese wasn't melted and I know that's a total first-world-type problem but cold cheese in eggs kinda sucks... However, flavors were on point, (hollandaise was banging!)coffee was deeelicious, and the staff was great. I'll be back for sure.

We went to this lovely place for the first time today. We had a nice breakfast. The food was very delicious. We had vegetable omlette and fried potatoes. The staff and owner,Nicho, were great, very hospitable people. They kept filling our tea cups as we enjoyed our breakfast. Although the food and service were great, I am giving 5 stars for their smiling faces and hospitality. It's a small, nice, cozy place in Margate. I will surely go back again. Thank you, guys.

A little on the expensive side. But the service was great, and the food was good. They even made me a New York style, beacon egg and cheese!! on a Kaiser roll, which came Out great! I would definitely recommend this place for anybody looking for a new york style breakfast 😅 I will definitely be back.

Don't hesitate because of my cost. I had a huge breakfast. 6 egg omelet with ham, tomato & cheese, 2 pancakes, bacon, home fries & toast. My wife had a veggie omelet, hash browns, cinnamon raisin toast & bacon. Food was fabulous! Great service!!

You need to fix your parkspot bumps. Ripped off my front bumper. Food was ok. Staff is wonderful. Ripping off my front bumper, well that ruined the mood.

Great little shop with excellent pastries and baked goods. The place smelled amazing and the customer service was great.

The food unfortunately was far from good. The pancake was undercooked, and the egg was bland and tasteless. What really made me want to never come back though is the fact that they charged us an extra 3.50 for sharing a plate. They call it a “share charge”. No establishment should ever punish you for not ordering your own plate, if I’m not particularly hungry I should not have to pay the owner more money. An absolute travesty, speaks so much on how cheap and unprofessional the owner is. Would never come back. Ended up paying over $20 for one plate and one coffee.

This place is a beautiful diamond in the rough I get super excited when I find places like these. My server was absolutely impeccable and my breakfast was done exactly how I wanted it. The food was delicious beyond words. The eggs was so succulent I almost yelled JESUS LET ME THROUGH THE PEARLY GATES. The place was very clean the courtesy was through the roof. The breakfast hit me like brick. Loved it.

Today my husband and I decided to try a new place before I head to work. We stopped in here and loved every bit of it. Joanne was our server and provided impeccable service. I was in the mood for a good breakfast with a homemade taste. The food was delicious, I had eggs over medium, sausage links, split some home fries, with my husband and he chose Waffles and I had the French toast. I like all of it. The French toast was hands down the best I’ve tasted since coming down south. The food was fast and delicious and customer service was great! What sealed the deal for an amazing review was when we took leftover waffles and French toast Joanne even told us how to reheat it for best flavor as if it was fresh. I highly recommend this place for breakfast/lunch.

This is a really nice little cafe. We had breakfast here and it was yummy. I would deff return. Even though the place was packed we got our food really quick and it was hot and fresh. I just wish they would get different bread. The toast tasted pretty bland and cheap.
