I had an amazing server, Sanjay. Super charismatic and really knew everything about the menu. He suggested a few appetizers and some rolls. All of his suggestions were amazing. This guy deserves a raise!!

We went for lunch and it was so good! They offered a great lunch special and the sushi/ sashimi bento were so tasty and fresh

I come here about twice a month, and that takes extreme discipline! I'm always very satisfied with the fresh sushi and the incredible service. Try the truffles! When I have friends or family visit, this is always on the list of things to do.

Delicious food, very friendly staff. But like most sushi, it just takes time to get your orders. Will definitely come back again!

First time Dining here! About two weeks ago from this date. I have nothing negative to say about this place. The customer service was exceptional. May, our server, was incredibly attentive and gave us the best suggestions at reasonable prices combos etc. The food was heavenly. We even got complimentary dessert, which made us feel so special and welcomed. The team here is fantastic, and the restaurant service is top-notch. Plus, the robot June is an adorable bonus! You won’t regret trying this place!

The staff here is friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean and not too loud. As for the food, it's pretty Yammi 😍 sushi 🍣, tastes fresh and well prepared, with plenty of options and appetizers, the price is more than fair for the quality.

My server was amazing she made great suggestions, was really genuinely kind and attentive, she also gave me complementary sushi piece “sunshine” and was AMAZING ! The “super white truffle oil” was delicious 🤤. The blue fin toro roll was also crazy good. I am a big sushi fan and I do recommend this place.

Absolutely love this place. The quality of the food so much better than most sushi places in the area. It's always so fresh. The service is great. I come here often and will continue to. They have a large menu with many unique rolls and appetizers. Still great! Just came for my birthday and they sang, gave me ice cream, took a picture, framed it, and gave it to me. So much fun!! And food and service was fabulous as always.

Excellent service, food is top notch. The shark was fresh and tender, perfectly seasoned. Great atmosphere, not crowded. Large assortment of drinks, sake (both hot and cold). Prices very good . The salad crisp, chilled and refreshing. The sushi and sashimi - spot on. Recommend to anyone that enjoys sushi or sashimi.

Wife and I enjoyed the sushi, edamame and soup! The vibes were A+. Good music and good service ! They gave a free sample of a Sunshine Roll 😋 So delicious, We will be back!

We decided to take the food home and it was really very bad, it is better to eat it at the restaurant. No taste or anything.

Sushi was great, and the robot servers are awesome I definitely recommend bringing kids here as it will be so much fun for them also the robots even sing Happy Birthday!

Best sushi experience I've ever had

This is were I go for business meetings, birthdays, and my anniversary. May always goes out of her way to make our visit a great experience. The fish is high quality and the kalbi ribs are fantastic!

We went with 4 kids and we all loved the food. The service was awesome, the fish was fresh and and delicious. Best sushi I’ve ever had west of Randall road, hands down.

I liked my choices, shitaki salad was good as always. Rolls are always great. My husband's salmon dish was not as last time 😩, so I guess who is in charge of cooking. Services are always good. I'm definitely coming back to check other options

The service was terrible and the food was just okay. The host staff seemed lost and confused. Definitely could see a lack of training and a lack of front of the house management. Next time I'll drive the extra 5 minutes to go to sushi pirate instead

Always enjoy eating in or having Swordfish's sushi at home. Just made my own slate sushi boards so of course we had to celebrate with this wonderful meal and take photos. It was as yummy as it looks!

AMAZing fresh and well crafted sushi, very good and extensive non-sushi menu, and robots that show you to your table and carry the food and drinks.

I went to pick up an order, there was no one at the entrance, I walked to ask for my order and when I tried to ask a person who works at the place, the woman who works and should be at the entrance told me that I can't talk to the chef and He treated me very badly, they should make sure they have someone at the entrance who also treats customers well, horrible experience

I don’t say this lightly, but this place has the best dirty martini in the area (must be made by Max). Many like Turf Room, but Max will make the best dirty martini in the Chicagoland. Their sushi is also solid as well as their service.

Have Celiac and have to eat Gluten Free - this place really cares. The staff and owner are lovely, although I'm sad the robot didn't seat us; maybe next time. The food was great too!

Robot is great! Sushi (Nigiri) is very generous. Flavor is only ok. Toro with 24K gold is fun! I received three "on the house" items to try. Fun.

We had a problem with something that was prompting me to want to leave a not so nice review. The manager may have been part owner, stepped up, and resolved the issue exactly as it should have been resolved. Food has always been exceptional. We were given a sample of the Baby Shark, which was great. A sample of another fish, which was ok. I can't remember what it was called. And a sample of the fried banana, which was great. It was pretty cool that they did that. I would never have ordered the baby shark otherwise. Next time, I plan to.

Amazing sushi place. I love Otoro and this is one of the few places that serves it in the suburbs. We got many freebies during our visit which was very nice of the staff! Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Went here for dinner with my family and was very pleased with the experience. Server was very friendly and the service was very good too.

My family and I have been eating here for years. Dozens of times. But this time will be the last. About 2 hours after leaving my daughter and I were violently ill all night. The night before Christmas eve. So I'm pretty frustrated that my holiday is now me stuck in bed.

We love this place, never let us down. No need to go to the big City to enjoy quality sushi and sashimi!

Had a lovely dinner out. Not busy for a Monday and walked right in and seated quickly. May, our server, was delightful and made 2 suggestions that we swapped 'in' to our order, the 'calamari kick' app and the 'crispy spicy tuna maki'. Both I wouldn't have normally tried, and both didn't disappoint. However, if you want more flavor of the fish, over the crunch, you may opt for something similar but without the pan fried rice. In addition, we tried the Bluefin Toro Maki that was very flavorful and our standby tuna and avocado. Food was great, May was great and definitely going back again!

I've been a fan for years. The quality is consistently high across the board.

Food was great. The service mediocre. Stff was friendly, just slow. It took 3hrs for us to eat apps and dinner. We weren't in a hurry so we enjoyed conversation. Decor is nice however the were many burnout bulbs in the light cluster chandeliers.

Best sushi in the Fox Valley. Very fresh seafood. Presentation is elegant. Service is outstanding.

Went last night with my husband for the first time. We really liked it. Will be back. Our server May was wonderful and attentive. Had a nice time.

They have good water with a lemon in it. I can't comment on the food or other drunks because we waited for 25 minutes after the beat up robot seated us and never got any service. Drank our water and left. Guess they need more robots or maybe the robot was supposed to take our order. Not really sure.

Water was good. Unfortunately, that's all we had. Waited 25 mins for service before leaving. All we had was the water that the beat-up robot delivered to our table super slow.

Everything was really great. Sake recommendation, complementary edamame and sushi was a great bonus. We ordered 5 rolls and they were big. Very delicious. Two rolls just had a little too much cream cheese for our liking but was still good. Service was on point as well.

Our server, May, was so wonderful. The food was great. First time there, and will definitely not be out last :)

From the robot that seated us, and brought us our drinks, to the complementary "baby shark" that we were given along with our amazing appetizers, this place was phenomenal! For our main course, we shared 4 different rolls, and each was perfectly crafted and packed with flavor. If you're a sushi fan, you will definitely enjoy your dining experience here!

Food was great as always but there was a table of loud, drunk people that really needed to be quoted down.

A friend recommended it, and I am so glad they did! This was a treat for my daughter's birthday, and good sushi is one food my adult children can agree on. My son was leary because this was our first time here, but was quickly impressed by the atmosphere and service. This was soon overtaken by the quality of the sushi itself. The fish was fresh, and presentation on point! The entire experience was enhanced with the occasional complemtary, sample selections served, the complimentary birthday dessert, and balloon blossom presented to my daughter just for mentioning we were celebrating!

Excellent food, service, and ambience. All of the employees were highly attentive and hospitable. Will certainly be coming back and will recommend this spot to others.

Today was our first time at Swordfish, and we can't say enough good things about it! Wonderful service (May was an absolute delight) and the food is absolutely fantastic! Though we loved everything, we highly recommended the "baby shark" roll (just the name... not made of actual baby shark 😋) and the Moon River roll. We also took our 6 year old daughter who got the kids' sushi plate, and it was the first time she cleaned her plate eating at a sushi restaurant. Thanks again for a wonderful night out! We will definitely be back!

Six of us for My birthday, treated us very well. Girlfriend was not certain she liked sushi, but was very happy with the choices my Son's made. My sons are excellent chefs on their own.

Was just thinking tonight of how deeply grateful I am to have this restaurant within our community. They have DELICIOUS food and are thoughtful from start to finish -- we've had many family birthdays here, and they always provide a framed photo of our group to the birthday guest. They send a little freebie to the table or with a takeout order. What I appreciate most of all is that they are SO accomodating of my Celiac, having very clearly marked gluten free items and taking special care. HIGHLY recommend. Never a bad experience.

One of my 'go to' places. Food quality, flavors, and presentation always great. They often give you sushi samples, tempura'd banana with chocolate sauce on the house. Staff friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking and comfortable seating. Great vegan choices.

I came from out of town for an appointment and found this place for lunch while wandering around. It was clean, inviting, everyone was welcoming and polite. I was seated by a robot that carried your drink to a table. It was pretty cool to watch it maneuver around. I got different sushi off the menu to try and all of it tasted great. I was there for lunch, so the special came with a soup and ice cream after you ate. They were both great also. I would definitely go back if I'm in town.

The food was very delicious, but it was the incredibly friendly staff that made this a great experience for my family. Our waitress Brynne was so nice and helpful. Can't wait to come back!

Went to Swordfish for date night since it is our favorite place. The staff did not disappoint! From our fretting through our meal everything was perfect! Our server May is incredible and Jeanie the manager so gracious. We definitely be back as soon as we are able! Highly recommend Swordfish!!

Very nice place. It has a beautiful patio for dining. The food was great. We went for lunch and had Bibimbop and Spicy Salmon poke bowl. Definitely try the crab rangoon and the tempera banana w chocolate.

I've eaten here a few times, and we've done take out on several occasions. Last night we enjoyed a sushi meal that was hands down the greatest sushi dinner I've ever experienced. The preparation, the flavors of the rolls, the service. Just perfect. Often signature rolls start to all taste the same. Our selection last night was just outstanding and everything was delicious. Highly recommend.

Best sushi restaurant in western Chicagoland.

My brother had the 15 piece sashimi dish which was beautifully sliced, very artfully presented and in his words, the best he ever had. my swordfish was good, but the fish and the vegetables were on the cool side: made worse by the fact that it was served quite a long time prior to the sashimi plate, and I had to wait a bit for the wasabi I asked for. That is the only complaint I really have, or it would have been a 5 star experience. If the kitchen can prep and present main courses at the same time, diners can enjoy their meals together. The tempura was delightful and the hostess explained to us the one vegetable we were not quite familiar with. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

The food is consistently good. The toro sampler platters are my favorite. Need some more options for sashmi samplers. not a fan of the robot seating us when the server could have done the same. Service staff are great.

Went over Mother's Day weekend and the service was extremely slow for sushi. It is not our first time being there and will be back, but used to continually ordering rolls and them coming out. Ordered my last 2 and ended up having them be to go as took to long to get

5 stars for food and service. You will feel welcomed from your first steps and the food is absolutely delicious. If you’re living in this area this place is a must to visit.

We have eaten at swordfish for years. Doubt we go back. Service was super slow because of a “backup in the kitchen”. When the warm food did arrive, the one hot appetizer was cold. Not sure if we just caught a bad day (night before Mother’s Day) or, if there is more of a systemic issue here.

Amazing food but service was rough. Got the appetizer way after the entree, missing a roll, manager said appetizer would be taken off bill and it wasn’t.

This was the first time I was shown to my table by a robot. Wild! The food was excellent.

Lobster Mountain is delicious. Baby Shark sushi rolls are great. One of the few places that has Chilean Sea Bass.
