Ordered a super potato ole and got a small potato ole. Wanted nacho cheese didn’t receive the nacho cheese so I’m left at home having to deal with this through DoorDash. How hard is it to double and triple check an order To make sure it’s correct and fulfilled properly? Specifically says that the person that took my order with Skylar B. I then call them to let them know that they should double check their orders. when I asked for the manager, I heard gentlemen in the background go of course somebody wants to speak to the manager. So I informed her that I heard him in the background. She then hung up on me. What the hell kind of business is being run here?

Food is always good quality, just a bit of a wait but quality makes up for it.

DO NOT GO ! Taco Bell exists! The only good thing abt that place is the tater tots. Tried it for the first time got the chicken potato burrito too much chz. I am a texture person and it was too soggy I got 2 bites in. My boyfriend got the soft tacos bland meat v disappointed. Save ur money<3

I ordered the super potato ole, and I’m used to getting just like a drop of sour cream and a drop of guacamole. (Taco bell lol). Taco jog s actually put a whole line of it down my potatoes, which was awesome. 👏

The floor was dirty. The tables were dirty. The air in dining room was stuffy and all there was was a small fan.

I asked for double beef on my taco salad because the normal beef amount is like a teaspoon. This is what it looked like when I got home and I had to repeat myself 2 times through the speaker and 1 time through the window. Horrible customer service. They don’t care what you order or pay for that is not at all what you get.

Whatever you do check your order before you leave. Since they won't and you can't get ahold of them to rectify the issue

I went to taco John's for my break since I work right across the street I order 2 meat and potatoe burritos at 805 at 820 I had to leave the line since I only have a 30 minute break and they still had 2 cars in front of me that haven't moved since I got there after I left I saw the car in front of me back up and leave also

Got one order right and other two orders wrong and they rushed me out of the drive through . It was not a pleasure able experience at all.

The drive up is horrible, and I am not sure why, but it seems like it takes forever to get what you ordered. But the food is always decent. Haven't had a "bad" meal yet

The girl that took my order was aggressively fake friendly and it was really off putting. The sign outside wasn’t lit up so I ordered Pizza taco and she told me they don’t have that and asked if I meant taco pizza. Weirdly passive aggressive. It was 45 min before closing so it want a dock move to come by the drive thru. But the worst part was that there was a dude outside smoking (no problem, live your life man) but when I pulled around and paid, he comes to the window and hands me my food. The lettuce smelled like smoke. Like he walked in from his smoke break and just made it with his bare hand. It was rough-I couldn’t eat it because of the smell. But whatever, it was Taco John’s at 9:15pm on a Tuesday. At least they were open.

The woman working the drive thru was extremely rude a little bit ago. She was agitated about something. She wouldn't give me my drink when I asked and she glared at me and she gave me the silent treatment when she handed my food. I normally get really good service here and I've met the owner's wife. I would ask she cools her bad attitude or she should be written up and let go before she starts a fight!

My husband stopped at Taco Johns to get dinner for the family on his way home from work, using the drive-thru. My taco bravo looked like a kids taco, little or no beans, just an extra flour tortilla around a very skimpy taco. The six pack and a pound were all very skimpy, The three example pictures are some of the tacos included in our order. We were very disappointed. We have been customers at this taco Johns for over 20 years, and we may not return. The girl at the window was nice and seemed professional.

Always service with a smile. I would definitely recommend this Taco John's if you like their style of tex mex.

Kinda slow, food was decent. The fried chicken meat in the burrito was a bit undercooked.

If we're looking for exceptional Mexican food we go to our local Mexican restaurant. But sitting at home and getting delivery or a drive through Taco John's is always consistent. We know what we're going to get and unlike most fast food restaurants they almost always get our other right. Thanks to the crew. You guys are appreciated!!!

TJ's is a familiar food from high school times growing up in iowa. one of my favorite parts of coming to Montana (from az) is missoula has a taco johns. service was on point. food tasted like i expected and potato oles still rule.

The service was spectacular we were greeted with a huge smile by the lady who took our order she was wonderful. Thanks for better our day it means a lot.

Staff is always super nice! Best breakfast burritos in town! Love the potato oles. They are always so hot and delicious.

Unfortunately I have bad news about the Taco John's on South Reserve in Missoula Montana. They are open, however, only the Drive-Thru. I live in Northern Missoula & I took the Bus clear across town today to it, only to see a flashing "Open" sign so I walked around the building to the Lobby door and it said "Lobby closed". It seems Taco John's WAS GOOD years and years ago, not for nothing but when they can't be a success in small towns and on Native American Reservations, Why try a City the size of Missoula Montana?

I picked up a door dash order today that consisted of only 3 burritos. That bag had to have weighed 5 lbs. Seems like their burritos are not puny.

Got this place delivered today. Ordered two chicken quesadillas and a fried chicken mini taco. The quesadillas had 0 chicken and the fried mini chicken taco just tasted like burnt, double fried lumps of breading slathered in way too much sauce in an attempt to hide the burnt mistake, it was absolutely horrendous. This place used to be decent but the last few months they have taken an absolute nosedive in quality and I am just done, I won't be wasting my money here ever again and I will make sure others know what terrible "food" this place produces.

The lady who took my order was very pleasant and patient which I greatly appreciated. Often times I take a bit longer n ger to order n some people don't like this and have actually sighed w frustration about this making my anxiety worse, thus leading me to never wanna go back to the place again or anywhere for that matter. So I greatly appreciated her patience with me ordering , along w a friendly smile. Thanks TJ!

Been coming here since my childhood and the staff is always awesome. Pro tip: order your burritos grilled. They taste even better. Only complaint I have is the nacho cheese price. It used to be under a dollar but now it's nearly $2????

Not gonna lie. Going to Taco John's is such a great flashback that, even if I didn't enjoy the guilty pleasure of eating there, I'd still love it.

Was given the wrong order in the drive through , had to come back and inside, was given our order and it was still missing an item, and the food of our ACTUAL order was cold, and the tacos had the wrong meat.

Cashier was kind of snippy when provided the answer to the trivia question and changed it while we sat there waiting, said it was too easy (totally my fault, right). Food was good.

Went through the drive thru. Ordered $30 worth of food. 2 combo meals with mtn dew and 2 tacos with 2 sides of dipping sauce. Drinks came out first, and one was not mtn dew. I asked what kind of soda it was and she said....it's the ice tea you ordered. I told her it was supposed to be mrn dew and she looked at me like I was dumb. She handed me my change and bag and never offered to get the right drink. I get home....No potato oles. But I sure got the dipping sauce. I tried to call, but no one answered the phone....for 3 calls. It is sad what food service has come to. Very dissatisfied-not likely to return. July 14th, 2023. Missoula Mt.

This place treated my wife badly. They didn't make her food right. She requested the food to go when she placed the order. They put the food on a tray. My wife asked to have the food placed in a bag to go. They tossed her the bag to put the food in the bag herself. Not good. First time visiting this location. We were from out of town. Won't return to eat here. No sauce for tots.

Ordered soft taco said 3 times no lettuce, was overly full of lettuce, your customer service is beyond ridiculous

Oh, how we've missed having a Super Fiesta Olė near us... The tacos were good also. The kids got some steak quesadillas and seemed to enjoy them. The building was very smoky, they had to prop the doors open to attempt to clear it out... Seemed like none of the staff knew it was happening...

Lobby was closed in middle of day. Didn't eat here cause of that.

This message is to the main owner of this place. Please get back to me, I wanna show you how hard is the rice I was served. It happened the 2nd time in six months. I ordered Boss burrito and the rice looked uncooked (super duper hard, gave me toothache). I even stored some rice for proof. Employees were nice as usual, no complaints.

I enjoy eating at Taco Johns. This was my first time dining in in a few years. The lady that rang us up was great she was nice to my son, which is a big thing for me. Our food was out quickly. The only thing that upset me was that they had taken out their salsa bar. I enjoyed having a variety of salsa to put on my food.

We don't have one of these anymore so I always go when I get the chance! I love them! And I wish we still had one.

The food has always been among my favorites in the zoo. The customer service has always been just okay, the way fast food tends to be. However upon my most recent visit, I discovered they no longer require any niceties from the individual serving customers. They were impatient when I needed a second, and rushing me when it was their turn to speak. No thank yous or days were expressed. Felt like Christmas at an exes house for the sake of the kids. Just awkward AF and not something I'd repeat.

Very decent for being so far north of the border. I had the chicken tacos and really enjoyed it. Obviously it's not Tijuana tacos. But they're delicious and worth returning for more. My only observable difference was the meat was served in a flour tortilla rather than corn. I guess that's personal preference. It was still really good, and the green salsa was great and had a nice mild to medium heat. Very enjoyable and tasty; Two thumbs up from me

We live close by and tacos sounded good. However, the taco meat was cold and looked and tasted like mush. The potato oles were cold also. Very disappointing.

Ordered two meals at drive through. They forgot the sauces we ordered so husband decided to run in instead of going to the back of the line. After he gets in vehicle, he starts driving and I advice we should make sure everything we ordered was in bag. My husband ordered the meat and potato burrito meal and he got a slap of refried beans on a cold tortilla. It took twenty minutes to get two meals plus two churros. And they still managed to mess something up. I get it, we should stay at home if we are gonna complain. But at the same time, we are paying for this service so we should at least get what we order.

Kid behind the counter was easy going and funny. Got everything pretty fast.

Have enjoyed the crispy beef tacos several times in the past and they were always hot, crispy, and juicy, but the last time I ordered some they were cold, so that visit rated only two stars. The service was fine and fast enough, but they should have taken better care of the food. Also had some potato oles and they were fine. The atmosphere has never been much to brag about...

So order our food and was told order was 19 and change when up to window black haired young lady with glasses said total was 22 and change so we asked why the difference in price and she got super annoyed and started talking down to us saying she didn’t take the order so.. then started reading off the order which was completely wrong. I then said we didn’t order that cause no one asked for jalapeños. Then said they were free. She just kept saying she didn’t take order and wouldn’t let me say anything. Ended up NOT being what we ordered. Horrible customer service from her. Never will go again.

Best food ever I think . Especially the meat potato burritos

Went there tonight for dinner for the first time ever. It's very comparable to Taco Bell but with a couple of better differences. The tacos were about the same with a slightly different flavor; I will be honest I do prefer Taco Bell's tacos over Taco John's. I also got a steak burrito and that was pretty delicious. I wouldn't change much about it. That was also pretty comparable to Taco Bell though the texture of the meat was a little bit different I'm not sure which I prefer. I also got a chicken burrito which was absolutely fantastic. The rice that was inside was perfectly seasoned with lime and I believe cilantro but it really made the burrito come together. I then ordered a chicken strip and tater tot side item which I was kind of disappointed with because the picture on the menu looked like they were big chicken strips and these are not big chicken strips these are like tiny little chicken chunks. I will say additionally that the person at the microphone taking my order was absolutely awesome very professional and super courteous. In this day and age it's very rare to find that kind of hospitality when ordering food from a restaurant drive-thru. The only part of the whole meal that I was really really disappointed in was the fact that I asked for a bunch of mild sauce and hot sauce and I got zero. For that reason I'm glad that I brought this food home because I had plenty of different hot sauces at home that I put on the food. But I am sad that I didn't get to try any of their hot or mild sauce. All in all this was a very good meal and I will definitely return to this location in the future.

Chain resturaunts can vary dramatically in service and food quality. Rarely will I even review them. However, Taco John's Missoula has set themselves out from the crowd. I have eaten here, at this point, dozens of times. One time they forgot to put my oles in the bag, and those they rushed out as soon as I let them know. Other than that one incident, every other time has been very fast. The food has always been fresh and hot. And the service friendly. I dont think you could ask for more! Excellent service and food. Keep it up Taco John's!

The food was mediocre, the staff was mediocre, and there was a huge line of people. It seems like it's been that way every time I've been there the last few times.

Went through the drive through because lobby is still not open, ordered food for my husband 3 children, and me (all in the car). Ended up paying 50 dollars, and was missing 2 potato oles and one of my children didn't get her meal at all, so tried to get back in the drive through, after waiting 20 minutes in a line of 15 cars, I said screw it. Gosh forbid they unlock the door so I can go pick up the rest of my food that I paid for. So sick of getting ripped off at places like this because people "forget" things. My advice, stay away from most fast food chains. I can't remember the last time I went through a drive through and I got the exact thing I ordered. DONE!!

This is our other site, but I don't come very often because it is not close to home. When I have been here though I have always received awesome customer service! The food is cooked quick and I have never had a problem with an order. I really recommend both of these Taco John's!!

Always great food and service. Used to be better but hopefully they will get back to how they were before the pandemic.

Ordered door dash last month and only received half my order. The store blamed the dasher, the dasher blamed the store. Tried again tonight. Exactly the same experience. Pay to have food delivered then drive to pick it up yourself, no compensation. The food is alright though.

We received 3 different cups of refried beans. ALL of them had weird green fuzzy grains of something in them. When calling Taco Johns(never asked for a refund, advised we were just concerned), we were met with laughing, brushing it off, and "it's impossible" remarks. Then followed up with "oh it could be the rice" with no further concern for anyone. Didn't offer any explanation of what it could have been after advising what it looked like either. With her attitude alone, trust that nobody here cares about your health when it comes to their food.

Only drive thru open so can have longer wait time

We were in line waiting 10-15 to order. Didn't receive one of our items. Had to call and pull back around. The potato oles were old, over cooked-dry, barely warm. They were out of beef to.

Always great food. Ordered the potato oles and they were a tad greasier than normal. Maybe the heat setting was off or they did not drain right.

Standard taco fast food. I would say it met my expectations.

Had an experience where they forgot my cheese sauce and salsa and one of the tacos did not taste as I would expect... sent in a review that represented the experience with a reward of a $2 coupon to use next time. Here is why I give them 5 stars - they actually called me about my response, listened, and then exceeded my expectations to make it right! Way to go Kim and team at Taco John's!

We come here for the limited time fish tacos and now the shrimp tacos! Love the potatoe oles! They're like mini hashbrowns! Drive thru line is always pretty busy. They do make the food when you order so if you're looking for McDonald drive thru speed, this ain't it.
