Worst management and service I have ever experienced. The dining room was locked with a sign telling people to use the drive through despite being within open hours. We were pulling a camper so we had to walk up to the drive through. There was another lady already there ordering outside her vehicle and no vehicle in the lane. Unusual, but it was fine. We complyed. We waited behind the lady to order. When a car drove up the girl at the window ignored us and took their order first. Weird but I have two boys in the fast food industry and a lot of grace with young people learning their job. I ordered food for my family of 7. To make a long story short. The order was wrong. The girl put steak into the computer instead of chicken. I don't eat steak. I did not order steak. The manager came out and basically said it didn't matter what mistakes the employee made I got what was on the receipt and if I wanted chicken I could reorder. She was rude and mean. Then she refused to give me my food. I had to leave without my meal and hungry. I have never felt so frustrated with a food service before. I left and had to walk to Wendy's across the street.

This store is slowest I have ever experienced! I sat in line to order drive thru for 15 minutes without moving! And that is before I got to the menu/speaker, and then another 20 minutes before receiving my order! I have sat in line to order so long that I left the line and went elsewhere! The food is decent! The service is terrible! Definitely not worth the wait!!!

Why is the lobby closed during afternoon hours on a busy weekend when there is a fully manned staff on duty? Makes no sense & the food was not ready when the online order was placed a half Hour ahead of time. 🗑️ 🚮

Super rude girl at the drive through. I'm allergic to onions and I asked what was in the burritos, she could hardly hear me over the speaker but I know she never mentioned pico. Normally I double check and say "okay, so no pico" but everything I said she said "I'm sorry can you repeat that" so I just trusted her. Then I find there's a ton of pico, go through and ask for a new one. The girl with the brunette hair rolled her eyes so far back, said "I guess" and then said it would be 4 mins. I spent $21 dollars on a meal I can't eat, I'll wait. I've never been here before and didn't understand the sos was for the potatoes, so I asked if I could switch my sour cream to the nacho cheese and said sorry it's my first time I didn't understand. She again said I guess, closed the window in my face, came back 1 min later with the burrito and no nacho cheese and said "here". My boyfriend is now going through for the 4th time between our two cars asking for my nacho cheese. I understand they're short staffed, but the attitude this girl has is no excuse. The girl with the half blonde hair was very nice. But not the other girl

The lobby is closed due to staffing and the service is super slow. Don’t bother stopping here for food

If you have enough staff to KEEP THE DRIVE THRU OPEN, you should also have your lobby..Truck drivers stopping at Walmart to eat YOUR FOOD IS DENIED cause we can't drive thru YOUR drive thru... THIS IS HORRIBLE anymore, hope this HITS YOUR POCKETS like you HIT MY ROUTE

Potato Oles were good. Ordered a steak boss burrito. Seriously people, where is the steak! This was a full on pound of black beans and white rice with a creamy sauce. So I ordered a steak burrito and got a black bean and rice. Nice. I opened the burrito. It had literally 8 very small pieces of steak thinner than the thickness of a fingernail and even smaller than a pea. This is a generous description of the steak content. I want to know who is pocketing the profit on this. I hate black beans and only eat brown rice. So I paid 12 bucks for an ice tea and some Oles. Whatever. Back to starving at lunch when here to visit for work. What are your beef tacos like? Lettuce and a shell?

*Disappointed review removed- Rating improved* 18DEC2018: I have tried twice more since the previous 4 disappointing visits and I must conclude that someone read my previous post and did something about it. Where both of my recent visits were just tacos those tacos were great! The staff were super nice both times as well. Here is a 1 start to 4 star rating increase. Keep up the good work TJs! 07DEC2023: Despite labor shortages in the area TJs is doing a great job. Food quality is great. Speed is decent. Staff are always very friendly.

I normally like taco john's, but this one is slow and food was not as hot as other taco john's.

The person at the drive thru window did a very nice job. The food was quick especially considering the size of our order. Good job

passing through to Lincoln we always stop for breakfast burritos! good prices good flavor.

Stopped here on our way through to cheyenne Wyoming. Very cute atomosphere very clean and well kept. Took over 20 min to get our food and we did dine in but several cars after we even came in were served before us. The burrito #3 was not wrapped correctly and was just a mess to ea. It just kept falling out everywhere.

If you like fitness, you’ll love fittin’em tacos in your belly! The decor is great and you can’t beat the options of easy parking or drive through. They keep you on the road, making fresh food fast, and hot. Staff was friendly and happy, which is a great way to be handed your 6 pack and a pound, to be back on the road with a smile on your own face!

Got food around 8:45 and both of my grilled items were barely grilled and tasted like grill cleaner. The customer service was great, the guy who took my order was very nice and chipper. The food, however, was not good.

Drive thru good service just slow. tacos were abnormally spicy and greasy. And potato Ole's were oversalted by along shot. Ordered 2qty of the 6 packs and a pound. We couldn't eat it due to salt and spice. We have eaten here and other taco John's and this was not what is normally served.

Was traveling thru the area and was impressed. This was the cleanest fast food restaurant I’ve ever been too. Extremely good service as well.

We loved this beautiful restaurant decorated for Valentine's Day, complete with flowers and the ambiance of a real fireplace. The food was excellent..we would highly recommend it.

The team members were friendly and the food got to me only barely after I hot my drink and sat down so it was very fast. The food was similar to taco bell in taste and price. Only small nit pick I had was one of the team members a lady walked in for her shift wearing high heeled boots that were clearly not for restaurant work as when she walked towards the back you could see her feet slipping. I'm just passing thru and that's my 2 cents.

Ordered the N# 7 3 Chicken street tacos 🌮 all of the where cold and wadded together. So they fell apart and all over. I keep trying this place but I give up know..

One of our favorite Taco John's locations! The drive-thru makes this a handy choice when you're on the road or otherwise in a hurry. Just be sure to get the TJ drive-thru on southeast side of building (not to be confused with coffee shop on northwest side). Very generous ingredients in our hard shell tacos. No charge for using refried beans instead of beef. Always a treat!

Whenever I pass through Ogallala, NE I stop here. I love this location I've never had a bad experience at Taco John's but this one is just better. It just is.

When I need something quick and reasonably healthy to eat, Taco John's is there for me with their Chicken Boss Bowl. Tastes great
