Decent spaghetti with meat sauce. Needs parm and bread for carry out !

Close friend showed me this place. They have great food and people. If passing through you have got to try it. Gaurantee you will want to come back. They also have a great lot for truck parking on the side.

Always has been an amazing stop for dinner

Kept running out of food, slow on getting fresh food out. No bread sticks. No dri king glasses. No dessert dishes. Ran out of salad. Most of the food was flavorless. Desserts are overcooked and hard. Ice cream was okay. I do not recommend any food here and will not ever be returning.

Nothing on the website states hours of the buffet, apparently this location has a lunch and a dinner buffet, we walked in at 2:05 pm and were told their lunch buffet was ending, ok, well they have other stuff right? She turns and hollers back and asks “can we still serve them” which was met with a very firm and growling NO, thanks for nothing guys, the food looked to be decent from what I could see, but I couldn’t see much more than a few dishes through the salad bar, which didn’t look terrible. When we pulled into the parking lot I wasn’t sure about this place my wife had picked from a road sign. We figured what the heck, let’s go in, the parking lot is littered with garbage, the windows are dirty on the door, no biggy, the place looks run down from the outside, but when we opened the door it smelt like good Italian food, so hey what the heck. The service is about as good as the appearance and that doesn’t make me wanna to come back to try the food. We travel and have time tables to keep, at least let us eat, or make it a little better by putting hours of certain things up. We didn’t have to have the buffet, we would have ordered a pizza or something but were told they couldn’t serve us so we left.

Excellent and extensive buffet!

The best thing here is the salad bar and the chicken. The Hamburger Pizza was surprisingly good, the rest of the pizza is just okay. This place needs a facelift.

We had a big bus of about 50 kids on our way to Fort Collins. We called ahead and they were happy to feed us all plus open early. So friendly and enough good food for us all. If you are ever in the area you should definitely try this buffet.

Awesome stop on our road trip! The staff totally took care of our large crowd with ease. Excellent pizza and pasta. Everything was fresh, and the buffet line was kept stocked.

We stopped on a long drive and picked up pizza for the road. They were extremely nice, gave us some extra plates and napkins because they knew we were traveling. Pizza was fantastic.

We were there an hour before lunch ended. More than half of the food was empty and stayed empty yet we paid full price for the lunch buffet. The pizza and pasta were ok, but the lasagna was terrible. Nothing like Valentino's lasagna. We won't be back.

Pizza was great. Fried chicken even better. Twisted garlic bread stix were good too. My wife enjoyed the sweet twisted bread stix too. They kept everything fresh on the buffet and ready with no waiting.

The buffet is sooo good! Salad is always fresh and dessert is on point every time we stop in.

I really enjoy the food at Valentino's. The chicken is excellent. The salad's always nice and fresh. The pizzas are coming out very often. All I can say is I love to eat at valentinos.

It has been years since I had Valentino's. It did not discount. The service and food was amazing. The building is old but clean.

Good food, decently priced, and the buffet is great! Staff were friendly, I highly recommend the cheeseburger pizza. If you are looking for a place to eat with your family this is the spot!

This is my opinion is the best Valentino's in the state. I stop here each time when driving back home when coming in and out of the state. It's something I like forward to and they always have my number on file so it's usually an easy and quick pickup. I always get a small hamburger which is perfect for one person can usually leaves a little left over.

I don't know what the locals are smoking, but the pizza here is not that good. It had a doughy taste, similiar to a great value store bought pizza. We spent $90 here and was not impressed. The fried chicken on the other hand was not bad.

Valentino's Pizza is basically a Nebraska Pizza chain. It was started in Lincoln, NE, in the late 1950s. I was born and raised in Lincoln, so I'm a little biased. I now live in Colorado, north of Denver, and the Ogallala, NEBRASKA Valentino's Pizza Buffet is the closest at 200 miles one way. However, when I'm hungry for Valentino's, it's time to make a road trip to satisfy my tastes buds. I leave early enough in the morning to make it on time for the lunch buffet and then bring a large pizza home with me. Yes, it's worth it to me. If you're ever in Nebraska and there's a Valentino's buffet in the area, stop in and check it out. You just might get hooked, too. At the Ogallala restaurant, on the buffet, they have a very nice salad bar. The buffet also has a variety of pizzas and pasta dishes. You get to choose what sauces you want on your spaghetti and if you want meat balls. There is excellent cheesey bread with dipping sauce. Fried chicken if you're not wild about pizza. If you still have room, there's dessert. Warm apple cobbler and ice cream. There's also 2 dessert pizza pies. When I was there at Thanksgiving, one of the dessert pizzas was cherry with strudel crumbles and white glaze frosting drizzled over the top. The other dessert pizza pie had the white frosting on it with sprinkles on it. I didn't eat any of it, so I can't say anything more about it than what I saw. I can say with confidence that if you go away hungry, it's most likely your own fault.

Buffet, not for everyone. Food was decent, especially the chicken! Skip the salad.

This is the most disgusting restaurant I’ve ever been in. The bathrooms were absolutely horrific, all toilets dirty and full of poop; very dirty sticky floors. No towels in the men’s bathroom. The atmosphere was so dirty and gross. The food was all picked over and not replenished. The buffet was terribly dirty with messes made. There were no cups for drinks, no ice cream machine working, many food items gone and dirty empty pans just sitting there hardened. I cannot believe we paid almost $20 per person for that. And I cannot believe the Valentinos company is allowing this location to remain open, representing their food, which is normally one of our favorites. We will never go to this location again

We had not been to Valentino’s for many years. We had always had a good experience at other Valentino’s locations. We saw that there was a Valentino’s in Ogallala and decided to try it. Wrong choice for sure. The buffet was sparse at best. Not much for choices and what was there did not come close to what Valentino’s used to be known for. The place was dirty, only one server working the whole dining area and only one cook working. Restrooms were in need of service and the entire place is very rundown. This was the last time I will give Valentino’s any of my money. Please believe me folks when I say that there are better choices in Ogallala where you can spend your money for a much better meal.

Stopped in at lunch time. Had the buffet. Very good. Large selection of pizza, pasta, salad. Very friendly staff. A little short on atmosphere but overall really good. Thanks.

Nebraska offers the true Valentino’s experience with a buffet that features a plentiful salad bar, multiple pasta options, fresh pizzas and chicken. Desserts, too! Only suggestion is to have Dorothy Lynch salad dressing. An older style restaurant with a friendly staff and we enjoyed the buffet and would recommend a stop.

The food was great. The waitress could have been better ( not very cheerful). I feel the best places to eat are those in older buildings.

Good place to get a salad bar. And not to mention the best pizza in ogallala. And the fried chicken is good and crispy.. The pasta is delicious also. Just go in and make yourself comfortable wherever you want to sit. If you wait on the waitress you might be standing to long. Just go find a table where you find comfortable and make yourself at home and enjoy. Kudos to all you employees!

I was very disappointed in this establishment, the pizza was not good, there was very little food on the buffet (most of the dishes were empty and stayed that way for our entire meal). There was only 1 hostess/cashier/ waitress in the front of the house and the lady was trying to do it all. The restaurant felt dirty, the light fixtures were dusty, and the bathrooms were filthy. Had I seen the bathroom before we ate I would not have stayed. On to the good.... The chicken strips were very good and my companions said the Blueberry dessert pizza was good. I would not go back

Just passing through and stopped for lunch. The buffet was out and it was pretty good. A huge selection, Pizza, pasta, and salad. They even had some fried chicken, didn't eat any though.

Don't let the outside of the building scare you off. Looks run down, weeds in the parking lot, and it looks like it's been closed for a long time. Almost didn't go in. But the interior is nicely decorated and the food was good.

The staff was so kind! The ice cream and cobbler was excellent. The food was so-so, but it was plentiful and perfect for the group of teens we brought in.

Worst food ever. Their pizza taste like wet cardboard/wet dog. Chef Boyardee tastes better than their lasagna. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Also be careful pulling in to there parking lot, they would be better off ripping up what is there and making it a dirt lot.

Always a GREAT stop! I ended up here, on accident, one trip. Now, it's a MUST STOP whenever I can. I'm so glad their Buffet is BACK. If LUNCH,make sure and go EARLY.When the kids show up, the pizza 🍕 disappears FAST!

Where else can you go to get all you can eat fried chicken, pizza, and salad? It was a solid place to stop for lunch. The kids loved it. Buffet was pretty well maintained and food was good. We’ll be back!

Watch your credit card. They over charged my credit card. I called the owner and he would not refund my money and said he would send me a gift certificate to make up for it and never got it..

Sauces for pasta on the buffet were extremely watered-down and lacking flavor. They have cut wait staff to one. It's not a good experience 😕 for a family of 5.

My family loved our meals here! We did the buffet and everything was good. The salad bar part was well stocked and the pizza, chicken, and sides were good and hot. The dessert pizzas were yummy, and the ice cream machine was a nice touch. Everything was clean too! I’d definitely go again.

HORRIBLE Disgusting we spent over $100 and dinner being delivered to the KOA. The pasta primavera and frozen cauliflower carrots and broccoli in it. No taste No mushrooms nothing of it said. The pizza was horribly undercooked all three. And all cheese stuck to the pizza box. They messed up on our topping It was just supposed to be a pepperoni pizza but they forgot the pepperoni. Overall complete s*** Don't waste your money You can get a microwavable meal better.

We typically love this place and come here a couple of times a year when we go camping. Yesterday, when we went to eat we had a really bad experience. The buffet was a total mess and in need of a major cleaning. The salad bar toppings were out, no cups for the drink machine, no lasagna, no chicken, almost no pizza options, and no garlic bread. The spaghetti noodles were all over the buffet table. We had to ask the one person working the dining area, to refill things, requested food, refill cups and bowls for soup. She seemed frustrated she had to do her job and the majority of the things we requested were never brought out. Everyone in the restaurant was waiting for food on the buffet to be brought out and racing for it when it did. We brought some people with us and we were all super disappointed. Hope management sees this so they can know how things are being run over there.

If there are more than 10 people there and you want the buffet...come back or try some place else...They don't have the kitchen here too keep up with a hungry crowd

Food was good, but the building is in need of updating.

Restaurant is located in a shady industrial area behind some train tracks. Pretty old facility with a salad bar that didn’t look too well stocked or sanitary. Pizza was just OK. The crust tasted frozen, not fresh. The toppings and combinations, however, were unique and flavorful. The cheeseburger pizza, taco pizza, and the pepperoni cream cheese pizza were pretty interesting and something you should try if you go here. No outside patio dining where we could dine with dogs. Takeout, dine in and delivery only. Unfortunately delivery was not available all the way to the lake, so that was a huge bummer. Even at only 10 minutes away, that should be within range.

I’m not sure why this has high reviews but I want to throughly explain why I didn’t enjoy this place at all… 1. The food wasn’t great 2. A lot of the food feels like it’s been out awhile 3. Place Is heavily understaffed so it takes things to get to the buffet line I went in here with pretty subpar expectations so I was disappointed with the food, this feels like most pizza buffets but more expensive and the variety in terms of the buffet for pizza is a little depressing. I do want to give this place the benefit of doubt and assume it was because the place was packed and that was why there wasn’t that much stuff lined up, but I think that was more of a problem with the lack of staffing (not the restaurants fault). I tried a few of the pizzas and I really wanted to enjoy it, but food was bland and reminded me of a worse off school cafeteria food. Will not be coming back, but I hope certain parts of this establishment get more attention and care placed into it. I do also wanna say I went in there for buffet and that maybe the pizza outside is better and other things are too but I wouldn’t know due to this. If you go here and you enjoy it I’m glad, sadly I didn’t. Also there was one veg pizza, so if you go in here for vegetarian options in terms of pizza there was only one from what I saw

Tried this at the suggestion of someone local and I was shocked when I received my order. The "famous" garlic bread was just the 2 sides of a hamburger bun with cheese on it. The wings were soggy though the sauce was good. The salad I got was pretty fresh, but nothing amazing. The delivery was fast, but I weep for the food options in this town.

We ordered a pizza delivered to our campsite during a T-Storm. Pizza was delivered on time and was very tasty.

Not impressed with the buffet. Had couple different gravies but no mashed potatoes or anything else to use them on.

First of all, they allowed my whole track team to come. But, the plumbing was horrible. The toilet literally wouldn’t flush, so I held down the flusher stick thing, and water started puddling up on the ground…i also didnt go #2.

This place has a killer salad bar, lots of hot fresh pizza to chews from on the bar, and an ice cream machine! Amazing staff! Affordable! If you have celiacs, fibro, or on any kind of gluten-free diet; I was able to order a gluten-free pizza and it was freaking delicious!

This place is run by some amazing people! We had a senior trip from MN to Denver, on our way back home, they stayed up an extra 2.5 hours before we got there at 10:30 to make sure we were fed! Great food and even better people! Staying extra hours on a Sunday night, will always give them our business! Can’t thank them enough!!

Valentino's has amazing food and even better customer service! We called and had a group of 75 high school seniors driving from Denver to Minnesota on a school trip. They were happy to stay open an hour late to give us a spot to sit down together and eat on our way home. Then, when we were delayed at our last location in Denver, they stayed open THREE hours late because they knew we wouldn't find anything else in the middle of the night on a Sunday for our large group. On top of that, the pizza was phenomenal and you can't beat self serve ice cream! Very affordable, clean, and large party room. Thank you thank you thank you to them for making our trip so great!

Saw the sign as we exited the freeway. So gave it a try. Not bad at all. Nice Salad Bar and Italian buffet. Try something a little different? Worth the effort. We liked it.

Says closes at 8 was there at 720 lights on food out doors locked. Saw an employee she said they close at 8 and when I said it’s not even 730 she turned and walked off.

I really like the breasted chicken. About half the time I order it, it’s a little greasy. Their pizza is pretty good. Lots of toppings and good crust.

Absolutely one of the best pizza's that I ever tasted.

You say what you want and they deliver . It’s like watching tv and bam it’s there. Fast hot and good food. Never greasy like the other pizza options (Pizza Hut, papa johns, ext.)

Excellent buffet great services

We came in for the dinner buffet and instantly regretted it. The one person working that side of the restaurant was trying to cover the register the food tables the seating and everything else. She seemed very nice but was very stressed. My biggest concern are the food temperatures. The pizza on the Hot table was cold. Many of the other foods were way below temperature and dried out. I have been to other valentinos locations that were much more enjoyable. I will not be back at this one.

We are traveling & exhausted, so we ordered Valentino's delivery in Ogallala NE from our hotel room, the Coleslaw was fantastic, the Pizza & Broasted Chicken were hot & delicious. I was impressed at the Chicken not being greasy, only crispy & flavorful. Our food delivery was quick & the driver was friendly.

The food was amazing, as to be expected from Valentinos! Unfortunately due to being short staffed the buffet was never full. We absolutely made the best if it. Perfect stop mid travel.

All around great place now.. tried it way back when we first moved to Nebraska 9yrs ago, we didn't care much for it. It was then bought and is now under new ownership and is a good place to go!. Have plenty of room for parties, small groups or large groups. Birthday parties, Business meetings, organizations, even school sports groups! They even have TAKE AND BAKE Items...

Valentino's is my absolute favorite pizza. Ogallala location lacks a bit but still worth it.
