My family had a bad experience. Order was mixed up. They ran out of rice and didn’t even have the courtesy to inform us. Instead they piled a ton of beans on our plates. Another table that came in after us was served before us. I’ll never return.

I loved the good price and the excellent food. If you are passing by on I-80 you will not be delayed at all and you will eat very well ☺️

What an absolutely wonderful place to eat. We are on our way to Yellowstone NP from Indiana and saw this from our hotel. So fortunate. The wait staff were friendly and great at what they do. The food was top notch. STOP BY THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE IN THE AREA!!!! A+

The place is clean and has an instant warm and comfortable atmosphere when you enter. Mexican music just further adds to the ambiance of the place. My server was prompt and very attentive. I ordered the Asada burrito and see the pic I have attached. It was smothered in Verde sauce. The flavor of the entire plate of food was amazing. The blend of spices and natural flavor made my mouth feel like it was in paradise. This was my first time ever here. I will definitely be back!!!

I used to make this my go to place. I am a truck driver so I make sure I stop here for the night until the last time I was there. $17 for a chimichanga that was no bigger than a frozen burrito from Walmart. Definitely won’t return again, especially when there is a taco place right around the corner about 200 yards away with better prices and better port sizes. The food place serves tastes pretty good, but it is way too expensive for as little as you get..

The food was horrible. Worst food we have had in a long time. The eggs where over.cooked . The green chile had no taste . The taco meat was very dry . The shrimp sauce was good but the shrimps them self where discussing. The chips and salsa was good . There server was very nice and friendly. Clean restaurant and restrooms .

Most truck drivers can't find good places to eat because they can not get their rigs into some of the restaurants parking. When you do find one, you should be able to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere and good food. The only good thing I can say about this restaurant is the atmosphere was ok. The food, however, was a different story. When you get your food, it looks okay but tastes nasty. It's like a runza. Later on, it will runza done your leg. Should have read the reviews before we went in. My wifes food had to be returned for sour meat or cheese. She can not determine which one was bad, and she still can not get the nasty taste out of her mouth. If anyone reads this, do NOT eat there, my friend. Save your money. Even though they took my wife's food off the receipt, it was still high for a nasty tasting meal of just one.

Very expensive, not a lot of food, they should fire their cook and get someone that knows how to cook real Mexican food

I just ate at the one in ogallala and ordered 3 cheese enchiladas and a beef Burrito with extra cheese the waitress ask if i want green chili on the Burrito never asking me if i wanted green or red sauce we waited for quite sometime there was only one person eating that should have been our sign so the food comes out the enchiladas came out in green sauce I told her I wanted red sauce on the enchiladas she told me I didn't ask for that and she assumed I wanted green because I ordered my burrito that way so she was very rude and said she would remake them I had ate most of my burrito with a pinch of cheese on it when I asked if that was extra cheese she told me very rude again that is extra cheese I laughed sorry but that was funny the cheese barely covered a strip on top of the burrito and hardly any chili so then me new enchiladas came out the plate was supper hot like always but the food was ice cold I told the waitress it was cold again very rude she touched the plate and said it's hot so I showed her by putting my finger in the enchiladas and held It for a very long time and pulled the corn tortilla back the cheese was not even melted she grabbed my plate abd I said I will just pass on the enchiladas being I had already ate my burrito that I ordered to eat with my enchiladas as a meal so then we go to the counter to pay and I had used my card I noticed they took the burrito off the bill and charged me for the enchiladas I didn't even mention it because she is so rude after putting my card in she hits the no tip button then tells me they are done doing business with me lmao imagine that I get kicked out because they messed-up my ordered then severed me cold food. People these are the people you meet in your neighborhood and they definitely didn't have to tell me not to come back. I will definitely put this place on my don't go places and so should you, you can get better service at any drive through and better food at three margaritas across the highway. Boycott this place at all cost save your time and money.

Decent food but pricey and not very generous with sides

Got 4 pork tamales, a chile relleno and beans and rice. Other than the sauce absolutely nothing had flavor. No seasoning on the rice, beans tastes like they came straight from a can, the tamale filling didn’t even taste like pork, and the relleno looked like it came from a can. CHILES FOR RELLENOS ARENT RECTANGLES. All that and it was still $35 for one person. When I brought it up I got ‘it not usually like that’s and the waitress seemed to have no cares. For the locals, try the food without the sauce and you’ll see what I mean. As someone who’s lived from Tucson and lived in El Paso for four years, this place is an INSULT to Mexican food.

Great food, great drinks, camarones Al a diabla was spicy and tasted perfect. The interior decor is bright and colorful, entire restaurant was clean, and my waitress Lesley was very pleasant and prompt.

We love this place. The 3, shrimp, chicken, beef fajitas are my favorite. Chips and dip.

As soon as we walked through the doors, we were greeted with beautiful decor. This place is vibrant and just makes you happy. Our waitress was so pleasant and helpful with the dishes. Our table ordered the shredded chicken chimchanga with cheese sauce on top, a combo plate, and the chicken and shrimp fajitas. They all came out with great presentation and tasted perfect. We definitely will be back and highly recommend this place. 👌

The best Mexican restaurant on i80. Fire food, and fire salsa

This restaurant is Mexican in name, when I entered I was served by a gringo girl and after I looked at the few options on the menu, I ordered a beef enchilada, and what do you think? Pure canned ground beef, what a disappointment, zero flavor on the palate, I realized that the cooks are gringos, due to the poor quality, if the owner of the restaurant wants good clientele, he will have to employ Mexican cooks, lack of respect, it is a deception, I do NOT recommend it

Order the chili verde, is was red pork with green sauce poured on top not chili verde. My buddy ordered chorizo breakfast, chorizo was dry and flaky and eggs seemed powdered the maverick chorizo burrito 10 x better. Seriously, I won’t go back and suggest you don’t start going. Service was very lacking maybe from being short staffed so I’ll give em that 🤷.

I love this place. My favorite thing to eat is Hawaiian fajitas. Worth the price. Cooked to perfection. The staff are amazing!!!

Closed today! December 23, 2023. Said closed Christmas Eve, but not the day before. I have to work today, Christmas Eve, Christmas and the day after Christmas.

My second favorite meal on a coast-to-coast trip. Better than expected for the middle of the desert. My leftover tacos became the next day’s lunch and they were still great. As others mentioned, it’s too bad they seem to always need another waitstaff or two.

Fast, friendly, cheap. Would go again.

This is a great little place to visit. I usually post a picture of my entrees, but I was so hungry, and the Beef Taco Plate was so delicious that I ate it before I knew it. Loved it here.

Absolutely Amazing Service! Everything on the menu looked so great it was hard to decide. So I just went with my All Time favorite. And was not disappointed one bit. I will stop in here every chance I get.

This place sucks. Salsa is too salty. Bean dip was bland, pretty sure it was just warmed up out of the can. I didn’t eat any of the chips or dips I got. Margarita just taste like straight sour mix and had a lime on the rim so skinny I couldn’t do anything with it. And when i asked for some limes I could squeeze into my drink they literally just cut a whole lime in half and brought me those, even thought the limes for the dry chicken tacos were cut perfectly. Make it make sense. Anyway, I my just ordered a beer and at my tacos even though the chicken was dry. Never drank the patron margarita or whatever it was. Won’t waste my time here again.

I haven’t been able to eat Mi Ranchito for years. It’s my absolute favorite please to go and favorite food in Nebraska. Always always always top notch!

The whole experience was great. From the time that I entered to the time that I left. The food was really good. Even the chips and salsa was very tasty. I ordered a burger for my wife to go and she loved it. This place makes you feel welcome, which makes the food taste even better. I will definitely stop by next time that I in the area. It is a family run business.

I throughly enjoyed this place! The fiod was exceptional. The Bistec Ranchero was phenomenal! Husband enjoyed the Hawaiian fajitas made inside and with fresh pineapple. The food had so much flavor and was hot when served. Our waitress was super sweet and friendly. We definitely enjoyed out dinner while out on the road.

Such unprofessional & rude service.. I’d like to say slow, but it was apparent that they really didn’t care… or at least the girl who seated us & somewhat served us.. finally getting order taking & the queso dip (having ask twice for).. taking a bite of my queso dipped chip I bit into a hair… My husband seeing the chip I split out and the black hair ( he has no hair & im blond) said let’s go… he went to pay for our drinks as I went outside gagging… the girl never batted an eye, didn’t even say she was sry.

Well this one was my first time and last one food isn't good I ask coke with easy ice brought me full cup of ice tacos not good meet was sour and alot of meet like for animal Tortillas was soak and soft this isn't Mexican food..

Very dissatisfied. We stopped in for lunch today and ordered the chicken tacos and the chili rellano burrito. Meal comes out, and after a few bites into the burrito, we start to question if there is a chili rellano in it. We ask the waitress and she confirms that it is what we ordered. After another couple of bites we realize it definitely isn't and call her back over. She checks with the cook staff and they say they thought it was a carne asada burrito. She passes this information on to us, and then asks if we would like the chili rellano burrito. Of course we do. We say yes, and she then informs us that she will have to charge us for both burritos then. So of course we decide not to change them since we'd be charged for the wrong one and the right one. We get the bill and we were charged for the carne asada burrito that we did not order. After talking to the manager, they at least only charged us for the original burrito (that we didn't get). I've worked at plenty of restaurants. When did it become policy to charge someone for your mistakes, and also not rectify the situation to begin with? Thought we'd try some place new. We won't be returning.

One of the most unsatisfactory dining experiences in my life. My order was wrong. The server said if I wanted the correct order I would have to pay for both, I declined. When I received the bill they charged me for the incorrect order which was more than my original order. The manager insisted I pay for the incorrect order. I told her if she didn't discount the bill we were never coming in here again. She said and I quote "Okay sounds good". Margaritas on the other side of the interstate has way better food anyway.

I'm from El Paso, TX, and there is no other city in the US with the most authentic Mexican restaurants and food. That said, it is hard to find the right ingredients to make an authentic mexican plate so I always praise those that do their best with what they have. The farther north from the border, the harder it is to find mexican ingredients. I liked this place because their food was tasty and well made. I had the medium combination #9. It had a taco, enchilada, and a chile relleno with rice and beans. The tortilla used for the taco was lightly fried which I was ok with, because sometimes tortillas start to fall apart as soon as you loaded up with the filling. It was delicious, I could've had a few more. I ordered the enchilada with shredded chicken. The chicken was a bit on the salty side for my taste but otherwise it was good. It did paired up well with my Dos Equis. The chile relleno was really good. What I really liked was that they cut the tail off. I don't even do that when I cook at home. It was a nice surprise. The rice was very well made and seasoned. The beans were pretty good. I ended up finishing the rice and beans with the chips from the complimentary chips and salsa. Overall it was good and as a truck driver, convenient that it's across the street from the T/A. I don't highly recommend it but I do recommend it as an alternative to the truckstop food.

I go to actual Mexican restaurants and trucks around the border this place is horrible I wasted 18.50 on Carne asada burrito the meat was absolutely horrible chopped into quarter inch chunks an dry plu no flavor at all avoid this place if you actually know what REAL Mexican food is

Horrible food. I have eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants across the country, and this place is by far the worse. Food was funny tasting, didn’t know what the meat was, definitely wasn’t chicken. Steak old dry. Shrimp overcooked. Small portions for the money. Beans come straight out of the can. Please avoid this place. You will be better off going to Wal Mart for rotisserie chicken.30.00 dollars for one person. Smh. DONT EAT HERE! Not authentic Mexican food. I have family members who are Mexican, and this is not authentic Mexican food. Waste of time and my money.

I was attracted to this brightly-colored restaurant and couldn't wait to see the Inside. Colors I was not disappointed at all. I loved all the bright colors everywhere. They were busy as I waited one hour and twenty minutes to get served. I would say they short-staffed. Out came some chips and salsa while I waited. OMG...🥵 The salsa was so spicy, on fire.🔥 I asked the waitress if she had mild or a different sauce and she said no just spicy 🌶 and she walked away. I was like WHAT? 😵 So I just sat there and waited for food. Finally, the ground beef tacos 🌮 I ordered were coming out. Ummmm are you sure this is right? The tacos were a hard like shell full of grease. I think they may have deep fried the tacos! NOOOOO.....I was so disappointed with my order after waiting all that time. 😏 I will say that the tacos did have a big flavor and I enjoyed eating the favorable taco meat from the inside. Maybe next time my experience will be better. Thank you for working so hard!!

Food was tasteless. Strawberry marquita was watered down frozen Strawberry, not good. Be careful what you ask for, they charge for every little thing, a little sour cream was two dollars. Would never return. We are second chance people, but not there 😕

Some of these reviewers obviously have not had good Mexican food. The salsa was straight pepper making it way too spicy. All the food was burnt like it sat under a lamp for 30 minutes. Would not recommend to anyone to eat here. Rather eat truck stop food then eat whatever they call “food”.

Over priced beef fajitas was dry just overall nasty food

Was a great place to start off with, waitress was very curtesy and I was just about to tip her when I saw the “gratuity 20%” of 8$+.. all because we split a six person table by two separate payments… that’s unfair and robbing the customers! It is the customers job to tip their waitress by THEIR choice! Shame on your rules!

I got the chicken fajitas. Food was very tasty service great.

Service was great! Staff was super friendly. I like that they asked you if you want flour or corn tortillas, this includes the taco shell. I asked for flour and they were indeed all flour. I had a cheese enchilada, beef taco and quac tostada. The tostada was kinda like a small flour bowl, I really liked it!!!

We enjoyed the authentic Mexican cuisine - fish tacos and Mexican steak #1 choices! Service was friendly and time to be served was acceptable for a busy Thursday night with a very large group. We'll definitely stop again when we are in the area.
