One of our favorite places to eat. The family that owns and operates Takara are amazing people. Very friendly, fast, clean, and delicious!

Wonderful food and nice people. Their sushi is amazing and so is the gyosa.

Great sushi, hibachi, and appetizers. Customer service was great and the to-go order was ready within a reasonable time. Spicy tuna roll was especially delicious and fresh. I highly recommend!

Although the food was good, it was served in Styrofoam to go boxes... we were dining in. This kind of took away from the experience for me.

The food had no flavor and was definitely not what was pictured online before we got there. The tables were really sticky and everything was in a to go box which is probably why we were the only ones dining in. Online it showed actual hibachi tables with grills and plates, we got there and everything was served on paper plates and no grills, overall we were very disappointed and will not be back.

This particular order was takeout. Yet the atmosphere and service were on point.

The manager had Nasty customer service and when corrected about her teenage son placing the wrong order, she blamed me and REFUSED TO replace my order with the correct food. Had her child taking orders on a busy Friday night and act surprised that he got my order wrong! Will not be returning to be treated with such blatant disrespect, rudeness and lack of understanding for patient friendly service. A VERY rude and unpleasant person.

Best Japanese restaurant I have ever been to food is great, sushi is always perfect, and hospitality is a priority.

Great little place. It was excellent. Super friendly people and immaculately clean! It's not really big on the ambience, but if you just want some good sushi and a comfortable clean environment, this is your place. Prices are very reasonable.

I was hype to try this spot, it's appealing to the eye and the service was great. The food though, kinda missed the mark for us.

The price menu is designed like a casino. Premium prices and sub quality food. Paper plates. Geez. I just want to have a quality meal experience with my family without being tricked and squeezed.

First time ever for a Louisiana roll (crawfish inside, crab outside). It was good. Self service except for food delivery.

I always have a good experience but this time the paper bag busted open and i lost a plate. I returned to replace my family’s food and inly was given 2 dollars off. Disappointing for something that wasn’t my mistake. Beware of the brown bag

The lady that mainly works the cash register is amazing. You can tell that she really cares about her guest because she know every person that walks in by face. Also I haven't been here in 6 years and the quality of the food is so good! Even when I ate it for leftovers!

Best sushi in Clinton (and trust me I've eaten at all of the others many times) 😅 The down side is the wait time can be sloooow ..but the sushi is definitely always CONSISTENTLY good/ great👍 unlike all the other places....

Ordered the lunch shrimp and steak hibachi to go and their vegetables include mushrooms which I love. Great food at a great price.

This place has changed alot. It now has become smaller and order at window and deliver to the table. They serve all the food on take out style boxes. The food was good. The service was interesting as the owners incredibly intelligent 12 year-old waited on us.

Excellent salmon and shrimp hibachi, as well as the Philadelphia roll and clear soup. It's across the street from Wal Mart and it's a tricky light; but it's well worth it. 5 out of 5 stars.

Everything is cooked to order so I did expect to wait, its not fast food and I wouldnt want it to be for how much care they put into it. Everytime I have eaten there they have always been friendly and never refused any requests Ive made.. Go try it, it's well worth your time..

No table service, order at the counter and food brought to you plated as to go. Food was good and price was reasonable. I enjoyed it.

The food was really good and the service and staff were nice. You can use JSU Supercard there so it was convenient.

I decided to try this because it's closer to my house than the hibachi grill is and I have to say it was very underwhelming. I had heard such great things about takara but in my opinion the pink sauce is not the same recipe that they use at hibachi and in my opinion I don't like it also the chicken seem to be dried out and the rice was off as well. Now yes it was edible but it did not hold up to the standards that I hold hibachi grill at or that other people had told me how amazing it was. No offense to them at all but I definitely recommend going to hibachi by Kroger if you want the best. Also I want to say I paid more than what I would pay at the other restaurant and it was not even as good or as much.

This is absolutely my favorite place to eat. The staff is so nice, the food is always off the charts. I’ve been eating the food from here since I was little and let me tell you they never disappoint. If you’re looking for AMAZING food check out this restaurant and I promise you, you won’t be disappointed.

Hands down the best hibachi and sushi in Clinton. A little more expensive than the other hibachi places, but well worth it. I eat here often.

My family love to eat here. Never an problem with service or the food. Been eating here for at less three or four year. Even ate here for four weeks in a row before everyone in my family. So you know it's mmm good

The food and service was great.

Sushi is delicious and has some of the best flavor I've ever had. Biggest issue is whatever time frame they give you for how long the wait will be is always MINIMUM 15-20 minutes longer.

This place has the best sushi you can get in Clinton. Good hibachi selection, and you get to watch them perform. Friendly staff as well! They are open only for take out, but i think will open soon once Covid gets better.

Great food, service and ambiance. My favorite sushi is the Candy, Dynamite and crunchy shrimp. Love the seafood soup, shrimp fried rice, and their salad with ginger dressing. My husband's favorite is the hibachi with steak, shrimp and chicken.

Enjoyed every bite. It was so delicious.
