The food was delicious! Nicki & Christina are great! I want that entire building in my back yard in Texas.

I’d give it more but the owner really did it this time I’m so happy it’s for sale so maybe someone who knows how to train people will run the bar properly and efficiently for slow nights . I’ve had so many issues from this place. Countless times my Togo is not all there or I’m waiting around for a hour with my card in my hand to pay for my to go order that I can see just sitting so others can get pull tabs . There was even the incident where I was having a great time put money in the touch tunes and the bartender turned the tv up over the songs I played even after another bartender had spoken up twice about how someone had played the songs . I’ve had a few ok experiences here when somone who actually knows how having a job works and why we have them but since I’ve been going here it’s just been down hill never the same servers so I really again can’t understand how you can trust your employees but ok. It’s like a bad casserole your aunt makes you keep trying it to see if it gets better but it’s always the same thing every time .

We were here on a Wednesday broasted chicken night. My husband had the 8 piece chicken special & it was incredible! I had the best chef salad ever! Our servers name was Erin and she was fantastic. She waited tables & tended bar and never missed a beat. Her personality was darling! She smiled and sang the entire time!! We will be back for great food and even better service!!

Nice to have a place to stop out in the country, away from the congestion of eith Hinckley or Danbury. We all enjoyed the good food. All staff were welcoming and attentive to our needs and satisfaction.

We had a group of 12 and everyone really enjoyed their meal. You can tell they care about the quality of what they serve. Highly recommend!

Stopped in with our family of 6. Everyone enjoyed their meals but the broasted chicken was more salty then we are use to. Will definitely be back to try it again. Thank you to the owners for making it a nice visit!!!!

I've been meaning to write this review for years. My wife and I stopped here during high COVID. The lockdowns had passed, but masking was still encouraged. We were coming back from the Range and hit Hinckley looking for something local, but most every place was still closed. So we wandered a little further off the freeways and found Bear Creek Tavern. Nobody goes into a tavern expecting haute cuisine nor Michelin stars. Honestly, we'd have settled for a decent burger. Instead, we lucked into Mexican Night. My wife ordered enchiladas, and I ordered taco salad. Portions were well sized, prices were decent, quality was good, and service was friendly. I mean, really, what more do you want from road food on Friday night on a trip? If we're ever back in that neck of the woods, we'll look them up. If you're in that neck of the woods, you should look them up, too. You won't be wasting your time.

Went here with my wife and daughter and we were not disappointed. My wife and I had burgers and our kid had the wings. Everything was very good and reasonably priced. The waitress and atmosphere were great. It is definitely worth trying this place out.

Stopped here on a Sunday evening after playing at the casino. Ordered the appetizer of the month (cheddar pretzels, pictured), a blt, a chicken sandwich, and a few drinks. Service was okay. There were only three other tables besides us, but it took a while to get our menus/drinks. Our drinks were inconsistently poured (second WAY different tasting than the first), sat empty for quite a while, and the appetizer arrived with only 5 small pretzel bites and no sauce. They tasted good, though, and so did the sandwiches, coleslaw, and fries. Prices were fair for what we got besides the appetizer.

Had the Big Bear Burger. Absolutely amazing. The poppers, fries, and onion rings were also delicious. All of the food ordered was hot and fast, and tasted great. Will definitely return.

Came from out of town. Stayed at the casino down the road. Very expensive restaurants. Look this place up. Absolutely perfect! Hometown place. Great food. Great prices. Staff were superb. The roasted chicken special. It just melted in your mouth. It was so good, fresh and not greasy. Would absolutely definitely come back again!!

Stopped for lunch while camping at the state park. It happened to be Cinco de Mayo and the fish tacos & street corn special was delicious! Our bartender was really nice too.

It was probably the best mushroom and Swiss burger I've ever had, and that's saying something because I've eaten quite a lot of mushroom and Swiss burgers in my day. Excellent place for a middle of nowhere bar!

Called in an order for 2 double cheese burgers to go, got there to pick them up, paid almost $40.00 for the 2 burgers? Why? Online menu prices where about $28.00 gor the order. Won't be eating there anymore.

BEWARE!!! This place will ripe you off!!! We ordered just 2 burgers and nothing else and they charged us $40 for it and then won't fix it and this just happened November 15 2022. Overpriced and it's very sad to have to pay double for a burger that is NOT WORTH IT. The menu prices say that it's a $10 Burgers so paying $40 for 2 burgers is not good business practice. RIP OFF!!!

Everything was very fresh and delicious. The staff was helpful in giving terrific recommendations. Try the spicy pickle fries if you get a chance. I had three black bear burger. It was exactly what you would expect. The french fries were very good as well.

The best eatery in the area! I love the burgers, my wife loves their sandwiches, and they've got a good kids menu. Great atmosphere, and a convenient location right off MN 48. They regularly have different events, many are family focused.

We love this place. Nice people running it...great food. Remodeled recently. Our bartender was not very knowledgeable. Did not know what White Zinfandel was...she thought wine was called by the "brand name" like "white claw"

Looked forward to the Sunday brunch. Arrived at 10:00, only two wait staff on duty, was waited on at 10:15 by the gal manning the bar who waited on many people who arrived after me, was not friendly at all, at 10:30, the cook brought my breakfast order out and the other staff member who had not waited on any of us at the bar gave my order to one of the two men who ordered after me, and then said to me, “hi, how’s it going”. Left at 10:40. Very disappointed! Never had such poor service there.

I want to thank the owners of this wonderful place. The food is really good. But also, these people are super neighbors in that when my daughter's water froze Rob stepped i in, helped assess the trouble and is helping to line up repair man. Why is this so great. Because this happened while my daughter wis on vacation in Mexico. Thanks Rob.

Great space - ample parking. Cute patio. Tables and bar inside have some amazing woodwork with exposed rough edges. Ceiling and walls are a pretty knotty pine. The rustic theme continues in the restrooms. Very reasonable prices. The boasted chicken is amazing. Best part is on a busy Saturday night Rob is there doing whatever is needed ... pouring drinks, washing dishes, bussing tables.

We always stop in here when we are in the area. The food is good and the staff is friendly and attentive. They also have drinks and pull tabs. More more can you ask for?

Great burgers and nice atmosphere! Ate there while training at the 49ers Training facility. We ordered ahead and they had our burgers ready at noon!

So much to say, so little space. Heather and her team rock. The bartenders are phenomenal, the cooks are fantastic and the atmosphere is beautiful. I have a big soft spot in my heart for BCT....My parents owned it when I was a kid.... Heather and Robbie are bringing her back to life and they should be very proud of what they have accomplished . The remodel brought her back to life... I enjoy stopping out when I get in the area for great food and and the staff is fantastic !!! Our server Tara was the BEST !!!
