The NEW Owner who has dedicated so much time and energy into this WONDERFULLY FRESH & ALWAYS AMAZING taqueria should be very proud of herself and the family she employes to work there are always very friendly, prompt and have your orders ready even when they are beyond slammed and hustling to get everything ut ontime, he correct orders going to the tons of patrons showing up to collect their food they called in ahead of time. I always tip big because they deserve everything they can earn. PLEASE TRY THEM OUT THEY ARE FANTASTIC YOU WON"T BE DISAPPOINTED! The old mexican food place as a nasty joke, i am so thankful there is great food so close by, because the restaurant pickings are slim around this area! BUT IT'S ALSO WELL WORTH THE DRIVE IF YOU'RE NOT FROM THIS AREA!

Today was my first visit to the restaurant. It's a Mom and Pops place that makes very good food at a good price. Just had a breakfast taco today that was fresh, hot and tastey. I'll be back to try out other items on the menu....

Just when I thought Alvin was a complete Tex Mex wasteland, we discover this little shack. By far best food I've had in the area and very inexpensive. Now they just need some investment money to build a dining area. Guess you could eat outside on little porch, deck area, but mostly a to-go place. Great chili con queso, chips and salsa verde for starters, a 6 pound burrito to die for, decent beef enchiladas and yummy fajita tacos, with genuine arroz y refritos... All fresh and clearly hand made traditional style. Can't wait to back and try some different items. Give it a try and you'll be glad you did.
