Food was delicious. Ordered 1/2 pound each of pull pork, pork belly and beef brisket. Along with beans, Mac and cheese and coleslaw. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend. Could not speak to the atmosphere since we did take out. Pics is very clean as per pic.

Delicious! They only make a certain amount of food per day and once it's gone, it's gone. Ribs 😋 Order at the counter and sit at picnic tables.

Absolutely the best place for BBQ!!! Vermont doesn't do BBQ well at all, BUT this place gets it right!! I've traveled a lot down South and this is as good as anything I've had from TN or SC etc. Friendly, laid back, picnic tables......one man operation.....well worth the wait if there is a line.

What a gem! I Don't know if I have ever had BBQ this good. We got the Alamo which was plenty for two people. The ribs and brisket were so flavorful and tender that no sauce was needed. Truly fall off the bone and melt in your mouth level tender. We did sauce up the pulled pork sandwich which was also delicious. We had beans and coleslaw for sides. It added up to a meal for two that was so satisfying! Only four stars for atmosphere, but that's a nitpick that doesn't make any difference at all.

Got the ribs, pulled pork, brisket, sausage, Mac & cheese, and corn bread all was some of the best barbecue I’ve ever had. Owner was friendly. Definitely would recommend

We were probably the last customers of the day and ordered the Alamo to go. He treated us kindly and we never felt rushed to order. The Alamo with pulled pork sandwich, ribs, and briskets were fantastic. So glad we stumbled on this amazing bbq place.

Amazing BBQ that’s worth waiting for!

Came here this weekend with my brother. He usually asks me to “pick the place” because I pick one-off little places in the middle of nowhere to try. It’s in the middle of nowhere alright, but it was worth the trip. I used to live in Texas so I came with low expectations. The owner blew it out of the water. We got the Alamo with Mac & beans. The house sauce, superb. The brisket, 10/10. The pork ribs were fallin off the bone. Pulled pork was so good with the sauce. Brother bookmarked for later. That’s how you know it’s a hit. Will be back!

One of the top 5 places to grab a bite. The only downside is the hours. But when it's a one-man show that's to be expected. I will definitely be returning in the near future!

The tastiest comfort food I've ever had in Vermont. And I have lived here my entire life. The servings are quite large and you definitely get your moneys worth! The guy who runs this place is incredibly funny and kind. The restauraunt is immaculately clean. The meat is jam packed with flavor and is super moist and delicous and should be tried without anything else first so you can see what I mean. It's amazing! The Mac n cheese is my personal favorite! It's cooked exactly how my dreams could ever imagine. But better! As a pasta lover I have to say I think im absolutely hands down infatuated with the mac n cheese. I've never tasted anything so close to perfection! 1000/1000 would reccomend!

LOVE this place! it's DELICIOUS and the food is to die for! I don't live very far away so it's convenient, but I'd drive from just about anywhere to get food here! The meats cooked to a perfection that could almost bring a tear to your eye, the coleslaw is some of the best I've ever had, the house BBQ is out of this world, and the bacon jalapeño cornbread is so good there's literally no words for it, you simply haven't lived if you haven't had it! I also love that it's a locally owned place that the owner is super friendly, and the atmosphere is always awesome, tourist or local, you'll always have a good time and get amazing food! 11 out of 10 stars!

Brisket tacos with homemade salsa were delicious. We enjoyed the brisket so much we brought a pound home. Will be returning to try other options soon! Owner was very welcoming!

I ordered the Alamo. Check out my picture...need I say more! The pulled pork and brisket was cooked to perfection! The Cheetos on top of the Mac and Cheese was the icing on the cake!!

Four of us shared the Alamo. We all agreed it was the best BBQ/smoked ribs,pulled pork, brisket we ever had. The only disappointing thing is the place is only opened 2 days a week. I'm in the area on vacation. If I was a local person I would be here regularly. Do yourself a favor and give this food a try you will not be disappointed!

Visiting for the weekend and found this little gem. Great BBQ! Ample portions!! The owner/operator was so nice. But get there early! The area knows how good it is and he will run out. Everything we had was spot on!!! Only giving 4 stars cause he was out of a few items. Very very good.

I've lived in the NEK FOREVER... It's been a long time since I've tried a "new place" and this place is the Best! Afraid I'm going to become addicted to it, lol.

My husband and I stopped by for lunch and everything was delicious! I had Brisket with a side of beans, hubby had ribs(fall off the bone) and Mac and cheese!! The owner was welcoming and house BBQ sauce was to die for!

Fantastic!! Flavorful BBQ, delicious sides and an affordable price to boot. You can also purchase meat by the pound which would make for a great takeaway dinner. The house made BBQ sauce is excellent and the owner is so welcoming and friendly. Wherever you are - it's worth the drive out!

My gf and I visited this place while visiting Vermont. Amazing food and the owner is so nice and friendly. We noticed our flat tire after the delicious meal and he made calls to the repair shops (he was about to call friends as well for us) and also helped change tire. Was gonna leave a review for the taste and quality of food but this just made our day and gave us more reasons to write a nice review. If you are around this amazing restaurant with an amazing owner, give this place a try. Brisket was soft and juicy, and so were the pulled pork tacos!!

Absolutely amazing BBQ. We stopped by because I remember seeing the red building above Boyden Valley Winery, and boy that was a great decision. We had Brisket tacos that were great, and the sides were stellar. Next time we are up in the VT area we will def come back again for lunch!

So good, my dog wouldn’t leave us alone. Check out the photo of her. Ribs are amazing. Highly recommend. Owner, also the cook, was very nice and you can tell he puts his heart into the food he cooks. Clean bathroom is a plus.

Quiet place to enjoy a good meal. When we were there, there was only one employee, but everyone was very understanding and appreciative of the good service. I really appreciated the fact that he changed gloves between each order he served.
